The next morning I woke up and I was tangled up with Aragorn. We had the sheet covering us and we were in each other's arms. Our legs were tangled and we were so close. I smiled and laid my head back on Aragorn's chest.
Aragorn stirred and looked down at me. "Good morning." He said. I smiled. "Good morning." I said. Aragorn sat up and so did I. I pulled the sheet to cover me up. Aragorn smiled. "You do not need to cover yourself, I have seen it all." He said. I smiled. "So, I have an important question to ask you." I said as Aragorn got up and got dressed. "What is it Lola?" he asked.
"Did the Elf lady talk in your head?" I asked. He stopped and turned to me, now wearing his pants. "Yes, she did. She told me to take care of you and our children." He said. I sighed. "Oh, thank goodness, you know it's twins." I said.
Aragorn spun around and looked at me. "Twins?" he asked. I nodded. "When she said children, I was thinking in the future." He said.
I sighed. "Well, she told me I was having a son and a daughter and that they would rule Gondor together one day." I said. Aragorn walked over to me and hugged me and then bent down and kissed me. The kiss was passionate. Soon, Aragorn pulled away. "We must make haste. We have hobbits to find." He said. I nodded and got up. The sheet leaving my body. Aragorn just looked at me. Soon, he came up to me and kissed me passionately. The next hour we spent in each other's arms once again, until there was a knock on our door. "Who is it?" yelled Aragorn.
There was a laugh on the other side of the door. "It's Legolas, we must find the hobbits." He yelled through the door. Aragorn looked at me and pulled away. He got up and put his pants on. I quickly got dressed and followed. We picked up our things and we were off. We walked out the door to see Legolas and Gimley waiting for us. We started our hike through the mountains. We sat to rest for a bit and got some food to eat.
In the distance there was a black cloud coming towards us. "What is that?" I asked and pointed. Aragorn looked. "Hide!" he yelled. Aragorn grabbed me and we hid under a rock. Gimley and Legolas hid as well. It turned out it was a bunch of birds. Once the birds passed we came out of our hiding spots. "What was that?" I asked. Legolas spoke. "Spies of Saron." He said. Aragorn looked at me to make sure that I was ok. "Are you hurt?" he asked. Gimley looked at us and so did Legolas. Legolas stopped and looked at me. "You are with child." He said. Aragorn looked at Legolas.
"How did you know that?" he asked. Legolas smiled. "Elvish hearing. I could hear the heart beats." He said. Aragorn smiled and laughed. Gimley smiled. "Congrats to you both." He said. "although it is fast considering you were just married less then 2 months ago." Said Legolas. I looked at Aragorn who nodded. We told Legolas everything. Gimley just looked at us. "Well, you're married now that is all that matters." He said. Aragorn smiled and turned to me. "You must rest." He said. I nodded and sat down. Suddenly, I felt something in my stomach move, and I knew it was the babies.
"Aragorn, I feel them." I said. Aragorn turned to me. "It's only a little time in. How can that be?" he asked. I lifted up the shirt that I was wearing and the symbol on my skin was red. My stomach had grown and was now the size as if I was 6 months pregnant. I put down my shirt and looked at Aragorn. "How is this possible?" I asked. Legolas spoke. "It's evil magic." He said. Frodo must destroy the ring to ensure your children are safe from Saron. I sighed. "What can we do to protect our children?" I asked.
Aragorn sighed and came to me. He put his arm around me and spoke. "Do you remember my vow to you?" he asked. I nodded. "I vowed to protect you at all costs." He said. "That is what I will do." He said. I nodded and kissed him. Gimly growled. "Enough of that, that's what got you into this mess to begin with. Let's be on with it." He said and started walking towards our mark. Soon, we traveled into the lands of Rohan.
There were a bunch of horses with riders coming our way. We hid until Aragorn saw their flags. They were of Rohan. Aragorn jumped up. "Riders of Rohan!" we came out of hiding and were surrounded. "What does a man, a woman, and elf and a dwarf have business here in Rohan?" asked the man. Aragorn spoke. "We are friends of the king and wish to see him." He said. The man took off his helmet. He had brown eyes and long blond hair. "I am Eomer, the kings mind had been poisoned and we are banished." He said. My back started to hurt so I leaned into Aragorn. The man must have noticed and looked at me.
"Why do you bring a woman with child on such a chase?" he asked. Aragorn spoke. "This is my wife Lola. She is due to give birth soon and we need to get to safety." He said. Eomer nodded. "Here, take some horses." He said. "By any chance have you seen 2 hobbits, they would look nothing more than children to you." Asked Legolas. Eomer spoke. "We came upon a group of Orcs and slay them all and left none alive." He said. "I'm sorry." He finished.
I turned to Aragorn. "We must check." I said. Aragorn nodded. He jumped up on the horses we were given and helped me get up in front of him. Legolas and Gimley road on their horse. We rode for a good 2 hours before we came upon the corpse of orcs. Aragorn jumped off and slowly helped me get off too. There was a pile there. Aragorn quickly looked around and found one of the hobbits belts on the pile. He kicked a helmet and yelled. I felt so bad that the hobbits were gone. But then I looked at the ground. "Wait!" I said. I looked at the ground. "There is cut rope here. They escaped." I said.
Aragorn looked and smiled at me. "Good eye." He said. I smiled. We walked to the edge of the woods. "They went in here." Said Legolas. "None who go in ever come out." Said Gimley. "We must go in and find our friends." Said Aragorn. We took the horses and walked into the woods. About an hour into the woods, we saw a light.
"Don't look, he will put a spell upon us." Yelled GImley. All of a sudden, the light was gone and there stood Gandalf in white robes. "Gandalf?" I asked. The man smiled and looked at me. "It's really good to see you Lola. Look how healthy you look." He said. Aragorn and Legolas smiled. We all walked out of the woods and the horses had made it to the side. However, Galdalf didn't have a horse. We watched as he whistled and a white stallion came to him.
We rode for a good day taking breaks along the way and made it to Rohan's city. We walked up the steps. The guards came forward. "I cannot let you come before the king so heavily armed." He said. Gandalf nodded and we all gave up our weapons. The guard turned to Gandalf. "You staff please." He said.
Gandalf spoke. "You would not part an old man from his walking stick." He said. The guard nodded and we were brought before the king. He looked pale. His hair was white. His eyes were glazed over. There was a man sitting beside him.
He had black greasy hair. His eyes were deep green. He reminded me of a human version of an orc. He seriously grossed me out. I had shivers down my spine. Aragorn took my hand and we walked closer. Gandalf spoke. "I release you." He finished.
Nothing happened. The king started to laugh. "You have no power here." He said. Gandalf yelled in a native tongue that I didn't know and suddenly, the king was turning back into a young man. A young woman ran forward. Aragorn caught her and spoke. "Wait." He said.
I knew I should not be jealous of her. But I didn't like the fact that my husband was touching another woman. I had never been possessive, but I was just a little bit. I turned back to Gandalf and the guards started coming one by one. We each fought them off. We didn't kill them or wound them, just knocked them around a little. Aragorn let the woman go and she caught the king as he fell from his throne. We all watched. The king stood up and looked at us.
"Gandalf?" he asked. Gandalf smiled and hugged him. "Yes Theoden, we are here." He said. The guards stopped and the king looked at the man at his side. "YOU!" he yelled. The king chased the man outside.
He kicked him down the stairs. Aragorn stopped him right before he killed the man with his sword. "There is no point in spilling more blood. We must put our sights on something more." He said. The king nodded and the man ran for his life. He took a horse and rode off. We all knew he was going to Saron's layer.
