Before the Rise of the Galactic Empire…..

Before the invasion by the fallen and the decepticons…..

Before Litwak City was founded….

There existed Litwaks arcade. Located somewhere in California, it was owned by Stan Litwak and home to many different video game characters, all connected by a power strip known as game central station. The characters were allowed to come and go from their games as they pleased after hours, as long as they didn't die. It was a decent life, but times have changed.

The year is 2020, and the world is not well. A mysterious new disease known as Covid 19 has formed, the United States is in the midst of an upcoming election, and many people weren't traveling like they used to. Businesses remained closed or limited business, and this included Litwaks arcade. At first the characters didn't mind the break, but the boredom was becoming unbearable.

Our story begins in the home of Fix it Felix jr and his wife Tamora Jean Calhoun, who were having dinner with their kids, the sugar rush racers. Today was one of the rare days Litwak decided to open the arcade. The arcade had been open sporadically so no one dared to leave the arcade into the internet or anything. The racers have been spending most of their time in their game, coming to see their parents at night.

"So, how much did you get played today?" Taffyta asked

"We might've made $2 today" said Felix

"I think we did $5" said Rancis

"My game costs $2 a play, so I think we made $16" said Calhoun

"Talk about a slow day" said Gloyd

"It's times like this I wish Vanellope were here. She'd keep our spirits up" said Candlehead

"Now candle, Vanellope is pretty busy right now. Ralph says internet gaming has been very busy these last few months. Heard there's this game called Doom Eternal and another game called Animal crossing that players are excited about. Though that doom game sounds terrifying the way Ralph described it" said Felix

"What is it?" Adorabeezle asked

"Uh, you're too young to know what it is but it's very violent and bloody to say the least" said Felix

"I wanna see it" said Gloyd

"Oh no you won't" said Calhoun

"It's times like this I envy vanellope, she left us for another game sure but at least she's getting players while we sit here waiting for something to happen" said Taffyta

"Well, maybe we can try calling her later" said Felix "I'll talk to Ralph and-

Suddenly the door busted open and Ralph entered

"Sorry, was trying to knock but I forget my own strength sometimes" said Ralph

"No worries Ralph, I can fix it"

Felix hopped up and tapped the broken door with his hammer, fixing it instantly.

"So, what brings you up here?" Felix asked

"I just heard some possibly unsettling news while walking back from vanellopes castle. Litwak is thinking of selling the arcade" said Ralph

"Sell the arcade? That's preposterous, he'd never do such a thing" said Felix

"Overheard him saying something about failing health. We've been running for 30 years Felix, we can't last forever" said Ralph

"But if the arcade closes, what'll happen to us?" Crumbelina asked

"Let's not worry yet. A guy is coming in a couple days to check the place out, we'll see what happens. That doesn't mean we're gonna be unplugged yet" said Ralph

"You're right, no need to panic yet. Right now we just live our lives as normal and see what happens" said Calhoun

"You're right, everything's gonna be fine" said Taffyta

"So Ralph, any word on how Vanellope's doing?" Rancis asked

"She won't answer my calls, she's probably really busy racing and stuff" said Ralph

(Meanwhile in slaughter race)

Slaughter race was on its last legs as more and more players abandoned it for other more popular games. Vanellope was currently aiming a missile from her car at a billboard for Star Wars Squadrons, which she believed was taking more players away at this time. With a push of a button, the missile destroyed the billboard.

"Yeah, sweet mother of monkey milk I can't believe that worked" said Vanellope

Unfortunately, the billboard instantly repaired itself.

"No, stupid third party ads. If I don't do something this game will be dead next week" said Vanellope to herself
