Stella POV
"Show me the ring!" I yell as I practically yank Flora's arm off. I inspect it closely before smiling at Riven. "It's beautiful, good choice Riven."
"Thanks Stella," Riven says as he walks to the kitchen to get a bottle of water.
"We need to start planning everything. Okay, this just popped into my head. How about we get sticks and spray paint them white. We put them in big glass vases as centrepieces for the table. In the bottom of those vases we have some soil and plant some beautiful white lillies in them?" I start babbling, ideas flying into my mind at rapid speed.
"Show me some pictures," Flora tells me. "First I think we need to actually find a church, the reception and the dress."
"Oooh, have you told your parents yet?" I ask them excitedly.
"Yeah we called them yesterday along with you and everyone else," Flora replies sitting on the couch.
"Well, we need to have the guest list first so we can know how big of a church and a reception to get. Riven get in here!" I call out excitedly. "List down all your friends and family members you want to invite."
Flora and Riven start listing people off the top of their heads and I eagerly jot them all down. I assure them it's not a final list, just a rough estimate to help with numbers. Flora then pauses as she moves onto the dangerous topic.
"Bloom," Flora says.
"Tim," Riven adds.
"I guess we might as well invite Stella, out of politeness," Flora smirks. "Though I really don't want her."
"My name's at the top of your list thank you very much!" I tell her as I pretend to hit her. She's developed her smirk from all that time with Riven.
"Umm," Flora looked uncomfortable. "Layla."
I stop in shock and suck in a deep breath. This was not my wedding, Flora and Riven could invite whoever they wanted.
"Nabu," Riven said.
I hesitate slightly again, great they'll both be there.
"Ummm," Flora looks in confusion. "Look I'm still really good friends with Musa, but will it be awkward with her being your umm ex?"
Riven seems to stop and think for a bit.
"Yeah it's fine, I mean she's the one who convinced me to ask you out," Riven nods.
I sigh yet again. Musa? Really? The girl who'd slept with my ex boyfriend? Not my wedding, I remind myself.
"Brandon," Riven says.
I sigh, of course.
"Should we invite Sky? I mean I haven't spoken to him since that day," Flora says referring to the big fight day. "And I'm pretty sure Riven hasn't either."
"Yeah invite him, he's rich, and a show off, he'll probably buy a big present to try and outdo everyone so he can gloat about it," Riven agrees.
Flora gives him a look.
"Fine, we'll invite him because he was such a great friend of mine when I was young," Riven says in a robotic voice. "I miss him so so so so much."
"Do we invite you know, them," Riven asks, referring to Tecna and Helia.
"We'll it is kind of rude to invite everyone else but them," Flora agrees. "But they really hurt me."
"Yeah but because of them we were able to be together," Riven says taking Flora's hand.
"Fine put them on the list," Flora says."Are they even still together?"
No one knows the answer so I list them down as singles. Flora quickly spouts off some distant cousin's name.
I am not looking forward to this wedding.
