~ One year later ~

Bloom POV

"Honey can you please zip me up?" I call out to my boyfriend.

"Sure," he replies, zipping up my brand new blue dress that I'd bought specially for this wedding.

"Okay, now you're ready, let's get in the car, we're going to be late," he tells me seriously.

I grab my stuff before jumping into the car. I drum my feet nervously and wring my hands.

"What's wrong?" Palladium asks me. "I can tell you're nervous about something."

"My ex-boyfriend Sky will be there, I haven't seen him in six years. Also, my old friends that I fought with," I tell him.

He already knew about the fight as I'd told him about it already.I'd told him everything. About Sky's cheating and my own. I'd cried to him on a drunk night out, convinced he would leave me. He hadn't.

"Don't worry, everything will be fine," Palladium reassures me.

The car ride is silent as I'm too nervous to speak, soon we arrive outside.

"You can do this Bloom, just do it, put one leg in front of the other, and walk. Back straight, show them who you are," I mumble to myself as I walk to the church doors.

There I see Mirta, wearing a pretty white dress with black lace on top, finishing just above the knees.

"Mirta, it's great to see you, it's been so long!" I tell her with a smile.

"You too, you look great!" Mirta smile.

"I love your dress, oh I forgot, this is my boyfriend Palladium," I say introducing them. Mirta smiles and shakes his hand before she freezes in place and the smile disappears.

I turn around to see who Mirta's looking at when I see him.

Sky.

He looks great, of course, in what looks like a very expensive light blue suit, his hair is all blonde and lush and wonderful.

Cut it out Bloom, remember what he did to you. I then see the girl on his arm, it's also looks amazing in a green, blue and white dress that kind of floats just under mid-thigh.

"Hello Bloom," Sky nods.

"Hi Bloom," Roxy says cheerfully.

"Hi guys! Roxy your dress is stunning," I tell them.

"Thanks, Bloom, who's this guy?" She says pointing to Palladium.

"Oh sorry, this is Palladium, my boyfriend," I tell them.

"Nice to meet you," Palladium says gracefully.

Sky shoots him an annoyed look.

"I think I see Brandon, let me introduce you to him, Padium," Sky says mispronouncing his name, most likely on purpose.

Palladium follows him leaving Mirta, Roxy and I alone.

"Hi Mirta," Roxy says in a weird choked voice.

"Hey," Mirta whispers.

Why are they acting so weird?

"Heeeey," Musa says as she bounds up to us with a guy next to her.

I never personally had anything against Musa, only Stella did.

"Hi, it's so nice to see you again it's been too long," I tell her smiling.

She's wearing a really pretty dress with different shades of red.

"I know," she agrees. "This is my fiancé, Jared. Jared these are my friends Bloom, Mirta and Roxy."

We all say hello to Jared half heatedly.

Tim then walks over and I begin to panic. No no no, walk away, this is awkward.

"Hey Musa," the girl by Tim's side calls out. I look at her closely, she seems familiar. Then I recognise her, it's Nova, Stella's old family means Stella knew he was dating her and had chosen not to tell me.

I take a deep breath. Of course she didn't tell me. It's none of my business.

"Hi girls," Tim says to all of us as his eyes find me he seems to panic. "Nova let's go over here, to see, umm, you know, her."

Tim and Nova walk off, as Musa excuses herself with Jared following. I walk over to find Palladium, I go down the side of the church and there I bump into Sky.

"Do you know where Palladium is?" I ask him.

"Yeah," Sky replies.

I wait for him to tell me but he doesn't say anything else.

"Well?" I ask him impatiently.

"You look stunning Bloom," he tells me coming closer. "I miss you."

I look at him in disgust.

"Ew, Sky, just tell me where Palladium is."

He comes closer and plays with the hem of my skirt.

"Bloom, how I've missed you," he says as he puts his hand up my skirt.

"Sky!" I shriek.

"I miss waking up next to you. Hearing you call out my name-" He breaks off as I slap him, jumping out of his grasp.

"Bitch," he snarls. "I don't want a relationship, just a quickie for old time's sake."

"As if I would sleep with you!"

"Oh, I forgot. You only cheat on people with Tim. My bad."

"You're a pig! I can't believe I ever went out with you. Stay away from me!" I tell him as I run away.

I compose myself before walking into church.

I want to tell Roxy about this, to warn her about him, but she won't believe the ex-girlfriend. I sigh in frustration.

"Hey," I say to Palladium as I squeeze next to him.

"Hi lovely," he replies as he takes my hand.

I sigh and lean against him. I'm so happy I now have a boyfriend who genuinely loves me.

Breaking up with Sky was the best decision of my life. Well maybe second to agreeing to date Palladium.
