I do not own The Mr. Men Show or any of its characters, but I do own Elizabeth and the idea for this story.

As soon as Mr. Small and the other Mr. Nosy was gone, the Mr. Nosy from another world sighed and turned back to Small, who still sat on the ground. He didn't know what to say. He knew Mr. Small said that the two weren't friends anymore and that he made a mistake, but he never considered the mistake might be that he took advantage of Mr. Nosy's counterpart while the light green Mr. Man was too drunk to object.

He didn't feel right about that, and he was shocked to hear that not only did this Dillydale know about sex, but they also had alcohol. He's never had an alcoholic drink before. He knew the real world, where Mr. Small was dating a human, had alcohol, but so far that's been one thing the cartoons have avoided.

Mr. Small is only interested in those videos, he thought, ashamed to admit that they turned him on, too, which was something he never experienced until they went through the portal and started to change. Maybe Mr. Small is right, and it's too late for us. We need to live with who we've become.

He sighed heavily, and he jumped when he felt someone touch him. He looked down and saw that the Mr. Small from this world had walked over to him and he patted his back. Mr. Nosy stared down at him, lost for words.

For a moment neither of them spoke. Then Mr. Small said," Can I ask you something?" When Mr. Nosy hesitated, he added," I don't mean to pry or anything, but I'm curious about something."

Mr. Nosy took a breath and let it out. "What do you want to know?"

"The other Mr. Small seems… unlike himself… um… unlike me, I mean." Mr. Small paused as if thinking. Then he just titled his head silently and stared up at Mr. Nosy.

The light green Mr. Man waited to see if he said more, but he didn't. He sighed. "He… um…" Mr. Nosy didn't know what to say. He told him about the portal, but he didn't tell him about the real world and about Dillydale being part of a kids show. For some reason, he didn't want to admit all that.

Instead, he said," It's different in our world. It seems like here you know about sleeping with other people and you even have alcohol. Is that right?"

Mr. Small shifted his feet awkwardly. "More or less," he muttered. "How is your world different?"

"We don't have alcohol and as far as I know, nobody else has slept with anyone," he said. "We used to be different. We didn't know about any of that stuff either."

"How did you find out?"

Mr. Nosy swallowed uncomfortably. He pretty much talked himself into a corner. But he still didn't want to confess everything. But Mr. Small seemed to guess.

"You discovered it in another world, didn't you?" he asked innocently.

Mr. Nosy didn't answer and he turned his head to the side, pretending to study an interesting patch of grass.

It was quiet between them for what felt like a lifetime. Then Mr. Small said," Never mind. Forget I asked." He paused before continuing. "I remember when Mr. Nosy– the one from here– and I did everything together. I miss those times. I would do anything to bring them back. If I could rewind time, I would and I won't trick him into doing things with me." He ended with a deep sigh that Mr. Nosy felt in his heart.

He found that he felt sorry for the small man. It was obvious he still really liked his friend, but the Mr. Nosy from this world hated him. Suddenly he wondered what his Mr. Small and Nosy was talking about.

After a while of walking, Nosy finally spoke. "What's your world like? Do you still live together? You don't seem like the other one. Have you ever had thoughts about your Mr. Nosy? Would you–"

Mr. Small stopped walking and turned to him. "Just stop, okay? You're talking too much." He paused and then said," No, I've never once thought about sleeping with him." He felt sick that his counterpart slept with another Mr. Man.

Mr. Nosy titled his head to the side. "You're not as kind as Mr. Small," he said. Then he huffed. "I'm not anymore. I get so upset with him now and I can't help it. Just when I think about that night I feel gross and valuable. He took advantage of me…" Suddenly his voice broke and he turned away, sobbing.

Mr. Small shifted positions, not sure what to do. He took a step toward him; then stopped. He remember when he used to comfort his friend when he was upset, but now when he's upset, it's usually because Mr. Small was yelling at him.

After several moments, Mr. Nosy calmed down and turned back to him. "I'm sorry." He took in a shaky breath. He stopped talking and then said," I miss us being friends, but I can't get past what he did." He looked down at the ground. "I don't know what to do…"

Mr. Small hesitated. An idea was forming in his head but he didn't know how this Mr. Nosy or his Mr. Nosy would react. He traced a circle on the ground with his foot. "Why not…" he started but he stopped, unsure how to suggest what he was thinking.

Mr. Nosy glanced at him. "What?" he asked.

The small man took a breath and let it out. "Come back to my world with me," he blurted out.

His friend's counterpart stared at him in shock. Then a thoughtful look crossed his face. "Come back to your world," he echoed, seeming to really be thinking about it. "What about the other Mr. Nosy?" he asked.

"If he agrees, he can stay here and become friends with the other Mr. Small." He had no idea if Mr. Nosy wanted to do that but it was worth a try. The Mr. Nosy here was unhappy and wanted to become friends with Mr. Small again, but he couldn't bring himself to forgive him. But he can come to the other Dillydale with Mr. Small and he would never have to worry about him making a move on him.

And they're the same Mr. Man so it shouldn't be that hard to adjust. Mr. Nosy did say he couldn't live like that anymore. He might want to stay here, but if this Mr. Nosy comes with me, I need to make sure he'll never go against me like the other one did.

"But if you come with me, you must promise me something."

Mr. Nosy cocked his head. "What?"

"Promise me that you will listen to me and obey me without question."

Mr. Nosy stared at him.

"Well?"

"Why do I need to promise that?"

"You can stay here and risk being taken advantage of again. Like you said, he did it once; who says he wouldn't do it again?"

Mr. Nosy fidgeted, looking uncertain. "But why do I have to obey you? What do you want me to do?"

"Whatever I want. You can't go against me or talk back. You must be ready to do anything I want you to do. Do you understand?" When Mr. Nosy hesitated, Mr. Small shrugged and said," Maybe you want to stay here because you do like him back and want to sleep with him."

"No!" Mr. Nosy snapped. He sighed. "Fine. I promise to listen to you and obey you. I want to go with you. I have no feelings for him. I want to leave him and never see him again."

Mr. Small narrowed his eyes. "I look like him."

"You look like him, but don't act like him. It's like you're a completely different person."

"But people in my world don't know that. We have to keep up the nice act and if you come with me you have to fool everyone too. Can you do that?"

Mr. Nosy frowned. "I'll be happy once I'm away from here so I won't need to pretend."

Mr. Small eyed him. "Okay then. Come on, let's go tell the others."
