"Hello Aether," said the woman dressed like the Cryo Cincin Mage.

"Hey, Katarina. Why are you dressed like that?"

Katarina grinned. "No reason," she said before bounding away with a skip in her step. He chalked it up to her being silly.

Aether sat on the couch. He yawned, feeling super tired. Those commissions were really tedious.

"Hello Aether," said an Electro Cincin Mage.

He eyed her curiously. "I don't remember giving you a realm dispatch."

Lyudochka shrugged. "Kat let me borrow hers. A second Electro Cincin Mage walked into the foyer and raised a hand in greeting. He waved back.

"Hey, Cryo Cincin Mage. Katarina has your clothes for some reason."

Along came another two Electro Cincin Mages from the stairwell. They had their hoods and masks down, hiding their faces.

Aether quirked an eyebrow. "Should I be concerned you girls have all these Fatui outfits?" They didn't answer. He sighed. "Just don't go wearing them around actual Fatui. They won't take so kindly to your cosplay."

A Cryo Cincin Mage emerged from the kitchen. Aether jerked his thumb back at the "Mages" on the stairwell.

"Yo, Kat. Did you give Sucrose and Collei those uniforms?"

Two more Cryo Cincin Mages entered the mansion carrying boxes of sweets to the pantry.

"Need some help with that, Ayaka?"

"We're fine, thanks, dear."

"Charlotte," he said to the one on the left, "please don't try infiltrating the Fatui to get a scoop dressed like that. Trust me, it's not worth it."

The girls dropped off the boxes and departed. Once more, Aether yawned. He could go for a nap.

As he settled down, two girls came and sat with him. He wrapped his arms around their waists and kissed their foreheads.

"Night, Cryo. Night, Kat."

He drifted into a light nap. Both girls giggled. Their Aether passed the test with flying colors.
