A/N – Hey, everyone. I have something to confess to you all, which may be devestating more to me than you guys. I've noticed over the last few months my need to write has been depleted. And I don't know how to regain it.

I've also noticed my thought process is losing its imagative side which is really upsetting and scary to me. I dunno, maybe I'm just in a rut - and have been for these last few months- but I'm fearful Im losing my edge.

I also had to get rid of my dog because my Dad was growing annoyed with him. Least to say, I was rather depressed.

Sorry for not updating in literally 4 months. I don't really know what else to say but please enjoy this chapter. Thanks for reading! :)

Also, the place I ordered my prom dress from is literally driving me insane. If my dress isn't here before May 16th, I'll have to scramble to find a new dress. I can only hope and pray it's here tomorrow like I PAID for it to be here on Saturday. Please pray for me as well e.e!

Besides that, Enjoy this chapter, leave a review, and have a fantastic day!

Chapter 13 - It's All in the Advertising

(POV: Maria)

Maria glanced over at Red and Green - they both were plopped down on the couch watching some chick flick. Maria didn't know who suggested the movie but it was absolutely hysterical - in the sense of ridiculousness. The main character was having a hard time chosing between two guys because of her secret passion for singing and Maria couldn't understand why.

Maria sighed and leaned her head against the chair. Today had been a rough day at school and now she was being forced to watch this because Green insisted on having "Family Fun Nights" on Fridays. She loved hanging out and spending time with Green and Red - but sometimes she just wanted to be alone with her thoughts.

Maria glanced back over at Green and Red and watched as they started to get a bit bold. Maria sighed once again and stood up. She snuck up the stairs and looked back to make sure none of them had followed her - but who was she kidding? They were too busy making out to notice her disapperance.

She closed her door quietly and tip-toed to her bed. Once she was all snuggled up and cozy, she let her eye lids fall and sighed in relief. It was nice to be in bed even though it was only seven O'clock in the evening. She'd wake up early but that'd be okay. She'd at least have enough time to get a shower and everything else she needed done at a nice easy-going pace.

Maria let her mind wander until her thoughts turned into dreams.

(POV Change: Green)

If Green was a girl he'd totally let his tears flow all over the place. But he wasn't going to cry in front of Red, his lover. Green bit his trembling lip and sucked the tears back up into his eyes and claimed that he wasn't feeling well whenever he'd cough to cover up a feeble sob.

Of course, Red believed him without a doubt - and that only boosted his ego even more.

Green was feeling lucky and reached his hand around Red's shoulders - and Red didn't shrug him off. Green smirked and was about to make a pass at Red until the main character was dumped by her boyfriend. Green directed all his attention and watched in horror as the girl tore up every single memory they had created and tossed it into the garbage.

Green felt his ego deflate and his eyes inflate.

Green stood up and shook his head. Red, cocking an eyebrow, was about to ask Green what was wrong but wasn't able too.

"Gotta take a piss!" Green mumbled out as he scurried up the stairs in into the bathroom. Green sighed and stared at his reflection. His face was blotchy with red marks and his eyes were watery. He didn't get why he reacted like this to chick flicks - hell, he didn't get why he reacted the way he did to a lot of things.

Green shook his head and slid down the door and plopped down onto the bathroom floor. He didn't like to show his emotions in front of Red and wasn't sure he'd ever be comfortable with allowing Red to see his emotions in full swing - especially if he's crying over a fictional movie.

Green stared up at the ceiling and felt himself start to doze off until someone knocked on the door. Green jumped and held in his scream. He didn't want to alert whoever was at the bathroom door knocking.

"Green, are you okay? You've been in the bathroom for quite a while," Red shouted through the door in a worried tone. Green cleared his throat.

"I-I'm fine! Just, uh, getting ready to take a shower actually!" Green forced out in an attempt to drive Red off. Red sighed and jingled the door handle.

"Can I at least come in? I have to pee, Green and we only have one bathroom."

"N-No! Wait until I'm in the shower!" Green shouted as he hurried around the bathroom in a vain attempt to gather his showering stuff. Red jingled the door handle again and started to get angerier.

"How am I gonna get in then if the door is locked, Green?!"

Green sighed in defeat. He didn't wanna show Red his emotional side - but he knew eventually Red would catch a glimpse of how sensitive he was. Green unlocked the door and turned towards the shower. He started to undress while Red bolted in and glared at Green - but his glare wasn't one filled with malice. It was filled with annoyance and love.

Red started to go pee while Green jumped into the shower. Green bit his lip while Red finished up and flushed. Red sighed and looked over at Green, who kept glancing at him. Red cocked an eyebrow and crossed his arms.

"I don't know what's wrong, but we can talk about it if you'd like, Green. I'm your partner through thick and thin, Green.'

Green blushed a bit and turned his gaze away from Red. He didn't know why his emotions had been so 'womenly' lately but he couldn't help it. Something inside him was changing - and he didn't know how to deal with it.

Red sighed and walked out of the bathroom with nothing else to say. Green shut the shower off a few seconds later after Red had left. He felt bad for giving Red the cold sholder and not explaining everything - but Red didn't seem too affected by it. He'd just get mad and leave the room. That's what Green liked about Red. He didn't pick fights even if he was in the right and pissed off to hell.

Green sighed. That still wasn't a great excuse to be acting this way. Eventually Red would tire out and have a blow out of emotions; but Green knew that before that'd happen, he'd more then likely give out and tell Red what was wrong - and he wasn't sure he'd survive that day either.

(POV Change: Maria)

Maria sighed. She had fallen asleep but Red and Green woke her up. She rolled over and tried her best to fall back asleep but her body wasn't having it. Despite being groggy, sleep wasn't taking her as its victim any time soon.

Maria flopped out of bed and sighed once more. It was only seven-thirty. She rubbed her eyes and yawned. She looked in the mirror and fixed her hair and made sure she looked presentable. She didn't want Green or Red to see her looking sloppy - she had an image to keep up with.

She knew Green and Red would never care about her looks - she did it for her parents. They always cared about their looks. Even when her mom was dying, Maria's mother always had her hair looking flawless and her makeup done perfectly. Maria smiled at herself in the mirror and then went out her bedroom door.

Maria started down the stairs when her stomach decided to shout. Maria's ears glowed red and she held her stomach.

"I didn't realize I was that hungry. I ate earlier when it was dinner time!" Maria shouted to herself. She hurried downstairs and into the kitchen. She started rummaging around but eventually realized that the kitchen was bare excluding a few random ramen cups there weren't her favorite flavor.

Maria turned on her heels and stared at the stair case. Green came waltzing down and met Maria's stare. Green raised an eyebrow as he walked into the kitchen and opened the fridge, taking a water bottle.

"You okay, Maria?" Green asked as he opened his water bottle.

"Mr. Green, would it be okay if we went out to get something real quick to eat? I'm still kinda hungry..." Maria trailed off, embarassed. She didn't want to seem like a pig. Green laughed and patted Maria on the back.

"You're speaking my language, Maria! I'm quite hungry myself," Green continued to laugh out as he messed with Maria's hair. Maria blushed in embarrassment and stormed upstairs.

"I'll be ready in five minutes, Green! You better be too!" she shouted from the top of the stair case with a sheepish grin plastered on her face.

(POV Change: Red)

Red was laying in bed and staring up at the ceiling – he was lost in all of his thoughts. Work had recently gotten harder because of a certain higher up running his mouth about Red failing to watch Lyra. It also didn't help that his company was riding his ass about the Team Rocket attack that happened a few months ago.

Red was in charge of that matter and still was picking the pieces up from that whole debacle. The only good thing that came from that was Green not remebering a single thing – though Red was pretty sure Green being wasted helped with that too.

If Green knew what had happened that night, Red knew for a fact that Green would have left him – and probably even would have seriously injuried him. Red shivered. He didn't wanna think about that anymore.

Red rolled over on his side and pulled the covers up over his face. He was tierd and wasn't in the mood to talk to Green anymore – and he was sure Green wouldn't mind him turning in earlier. It wasn't like Green was moping around and begging to be with him all the time – though Red wouldn't mind that one minute.

In fact, he'd be the happiest man alive if he and Green could spend each and every day together. Forever.

(POV Change: Green)

Green and Maria were walking down main street of Pallet town looking for a place to eat at. Green would haven taken Red with them but he didn't want to face Red after the mess of a situation he had created in the bathroom. Green sighed. He didn't like making things awkward but he couldn't help it – it was as if it was in his nature to do that.

Green stared up at the starless sky and sighed. He just wanted to make Red happy and live together with him in a never-ending loving enviroment. Green felt Maria tug his arm gently and when he looked he saw her pointing towards an abandoned house – but there was something moving around it.

Green took a closer look and noticed a very famliar logo on their shirts. Green flared his nostrils and rolled up the sleeves of his thin purple sweater.

"Maria, stay here. I have some business with these punks," Green commanded out. Maria's eyes flashed with a rebellious nature but she nodded 'okay'. Green started walking towards so called 'punks'.

Once Green was closer, he noticed that these punks were in fact the scum Team Rocket members that had stalked Red tirelessly for years. Green cocked an eyebrow up and folded his arms across his chest and glowered at the two rocket members.

The red-head girl was making a fess about something because she kept waivng her arms around angerily and pointing towards a rather large poster that was slanted on the nearby building.

"You dim-wit! Does this poster look even to you?" she screeched out. The purple hair 'dim-wit' grimaced and flashed an apologentic frown at the red-head – and she spit right in his face.

"James, you know that puppy dog face won't work on me! Now get back to work and make this poster straighter! I'd do it myself if it weren't on bed rest!"

"Jesse, you act like hanging a poster will hurt you and the baby!"

"You don't know that, James! Now get workin' or I'm gonna tell that twerp of a boss that you ain't doing your job!"

Green froze. He knew that they only refered to a certain person as 'twerp' – and he wasn't sure what was going on. Green moved closer towards them and hid behind a crate. He wasn't sure if he had heard them right – and he wanted to be sure that he had heard them wrong.

Jesse sighed and threw her arms up in anger.

"You're doing that all wrong, James! You're making the poster even worse! Look, there's a tear right there!" Jesse roared out as she started to hasitly point out all of James' mistakes. James wanted to snap but he knew it wouldn't be good for Jesse and the baby.

James nodded and kept silent – but Jesse wasn't taking that as a suffcient awnser. She glowered at him and snatched the ruler from his hand.

"Since you can't even do this why don't you try and be useful and call up the twerp; tell him we only have a few more posters to hang," Jesse hissed out as she started to roll the ruler over the poster. Jesse pulled out his cellphone and called said 'twerp-boss' up.

Green felt time slow to a complete stop. Each ring of James' cellphone made him want to pass out and faint – but he had to be sure.

"...Hello, Boss, It's me, James. I'm just calling to let you know that Jesse and I only have a few more posters to hang. …. Yeah she's doing fine. The doctor said she isn't high risk anymore but she's still claiming she's still on bed rest," James chuckled out on the phone. Jesse rolled her eyes and mumbled to herself.

Green strained his ears to hear the person James was talking to but he couldn't catch a single word.

"...Yeah, we heard about that too. I can't believe he did that to you – he basically threw you under the bus for an assignment his wanted to do. ...What? He even slapped you? That's... well, I wouldn't expect less from Silver to be honest. He is extremly hot-headed if you as me."

Green bit his lip. The whole scenario sounded extremly famliar to something that Red had went through – but he needed one-hundred percent proof. He felt his heart sink and his brain jump. He didn't know what to think.

"Mhm, I understand. Oh by the way-"

"James, would you just put him on speaker? I'm growing annoyed listening to only your voice, you dim-wit!" Jesse shouted as she swiveled on her heels. James jumped a bit and hurridly turned the phones speakers on.

"Haha, Jesse, still hot-headed as ever. Just like Silver. You sure you two aren't related?" rung an extremly famliar voice. Green felt his eyes prickle with tears, his heart sink into his stomach and his brain freeze up all movements.

His gut instict told him from the very moment he heard twerp he knew who they were refering too. Green held his head and leaned against the nearby wall. He broke out into a cold sweat and felt his vision start to fade.

Red was their boss – and they were currently hanging a poster for his company while wearing freshly-pressed Team Rocket shirts proudly.
