[Anor Medical Research and Health Facility, former Scherp Estate, Sernpidal, Julevian System, Dalonbian Sector, Tingel Arm, Outer Rim Territories, (Disputed) Claimed Territories of Galactic Republic/Confederacy of Independent States]

"…and our relief efforts shall continue, regards of the dangers" Nom Anor, young, brilliant, entrepreneur, and nowadays known philanthropist "Though we have taken these dangers into account, and once again thank the brave defenders we have employed, just as we thank every one of our employees that risk their lives every single cycle! Thank you all!"

Ending the conference the known human gave a dazzling smile, waving and re-entered the genetics research facility, the top-of-the-line medical facility for the Galactic North with his escort of bodyguards and pretty young attendants. These left him, the secretaries to their desks, the guards to the doors as he moved inside, and the two doctors to the laboratories within. None disturbed him as he entered his private life, ostensibly to enter is secure private office owing to the ever-growing security concerns while he worked. Instead Nom Anor made a loud crack with his neck, then jaw, as he released some of the discomfort of playing at such a creature. The Gods claimed that pain was a reward, though the young Intendant class had personally never felt such personally, but simply to endure such things.

It was what made this mission much more pleasant than life aboard the vessels of his own people…at times, for the lives of the lesser beings of this galaxy could truly be disgusting at times. The pleasant feel and familiarity of the biological, rather than vile mechanical, systems that greeted him as the transport-lift descended below the official levels. Into what had been an existing underground system, dating back many, many, cycles of this world's rotations of its local star. A useful discovery, one aided through his efforts in researching the worlds needing infiltration, and those others most suitable for resources as deemed by his caste. Sernpidal was not one of those, but it did have a history with 'Force Users' and now, a use for the Praetorite as a forward base in this void filled heathens and their abominations of technology.

Metal and stone, the last line of illusions that this was but another, albeit secret, part of the facility gave way to a waiting warrior and the true flesh and bone confines of the domain of the Shapers. Both Domains of Kwaad and Yim were present, and such was why Nom of the Anor Domain could feel not true joy at being within the confines. The ancient Shi-Uyun Kwaad was an obnoxious presence on the best of days and dealing with the 'venerable' shaper oft left a poor taste in the mind and body. Now, even the pleasant thoughts that the old female would not live to see the Arrival, after all her efforts towards it, due to her decrepit state….but, now, she might survive a decade where two was surely beyond her in his opinion.

The various experiments of the shapers were on display, in the initial guard beasts with the handful of warriors within the hidden facility, to the more current experimental work as he entered the inner sanctum. Before him the dreadful creature he must submit himself too was experimenting on some of the local vongoids or some other 'near human' as they were called by the heathens. Debt prisoners or those whose caste was beneath notice even in the supposedly casteless galaxy of savages. He'd sneer at such things, but Nom Anor found it best never to do so before the Shi-Uyun Kwaad as the creature hated joy as best he could tell. Unless it was her own of course…

"Intendant. You arrive at last" came the grating harshness ancient shaper's voice as she did not even look away from the silently screaming creature whose brain she was attempting to bond some coral-beast with "Tardiness is unpleasant before the Gods eyes. Even you remain in that dreadful form"

He bowed his head "Honoured Shaper, such tasks as given to the Intendants of the Praetorite ensure this form would be maintained, as time before reappearing before the heathens is but short. Keeping acceptable schedules runs upon troubled void-space when dealing with such beings"

The shaper turned from her work, clearly waiting for…something…to occur in time as she moved to two female near-humans several steps away with swollen bellies, though one had a faintly coloured skin that wasn't within the standard for the locals or the humans "As you say Intendent, ensure it is not a regular occurrence. Matters are requiring attention"

"Yes, Honoured Shaper" was his only response to, showing naught but feigned submission to her will as he watched her clawed fingers tap at the workstation, bellies of the two natives going clear-view, revealing growths with, beasts of some sort. This was he loathed the ancient, as she barely acknowledged he, and others of his rank, who did all the work, while going about her work. If not for Domain Anor, without Intendants such as he, they would be in a far worse position. Sometimes he doubted the Gods for such injustices.

"The Impeerialz know of our existence" she stated after a few silent moments, the flesh experiments shivering and shaking, likely screaming into the breathing-feeding tubes in their mouths "They and the Chizz, together, attempted to explore the shaping womb they called Outbound Flight. The trap was strung despite this unexpected strength, with only the failure of the warrior caste involved allowing escape"

'Yes, yes, as I warned. The Empire certainly are seeking signs of us, yes. As warned. By Me!' went through his mind, but something he dare not say, as that could be the death of him. He was but a young Intendent and she a venerable Shaper. Life was unfair when incompetence reigned "That is concerning Honoured Shaper. Efforts must be taken to mitigate this failure of the warriors in the Unknown Regions I must assume?"

"More than such meagre thoughts Intendant, though such plans is acceptable from one of your caste" came the dull, disinterested words back "That these savages have caught glimpses are a concern, and efforts made to reduce such before the Arrival necessary. Knowledge of which faction is aware is to be ascertained, yes, but more important is the prevention of such creatures denying my caste access to the resources needed to ensure the success of our mission"

"I must state, I believe the warriors will disagree with such views Honoured Shaper" which was an understatement, and a usual missing of the larger picture by the shapers. Oh, it was just this one saying such, but the others were just as narrow-minded as the situation within the galaxy that was to be their new home was…every shifting. Nor were their enemies standing still, even when aware of them, as several native heathen powers were embarking on growing militarisation…sufficient that even the Arrival was in flux, that leaving the invasion longer, to when planned, might give rise to concerns. Let alone the fact infiltration was both easier and more difficult now; easier in the broken territories, but increasingly difficult in more fanatical populations such as the Empire and, recently, the New Republic, or the more active isolationists such as the Hutts. Such groups actively knowing of the Arrival?

That would make certain plans very difficult to implement…

"Though, their failure?"

"Our vessels, our war-beasts, and warriors, were proven superior in the engagement, even against stronger heathen forces, such as this Impeerial Jeedaai the Stormcrow"

'Oh, joy, one of the Empire's inner circle' Nom Anor said, showing no sign of irritation at the work of his caste now getting significantly more difficult. It was one thing to have an engagement with a Imperial strike-force that escaped with the Chiss, quite another when the Emperor's personal attack voxyn was the one that fought and walked away to tell of it 'Well, that will more troubles with ExGal and the other watchers in the void the natives employ'

He had to voice some obviousness here "That will make efforts at creating internal subversion movements within such star nations more difficult as the Time of Arrival comes, and in its aftermath Honoured Shaper"

It was more than that in truth. Raising minor rebellions against the Empire, and especially the New Republic as it awoke like some great lumbering predator long in hibernation, but both states were perfectly willing to brutalise such minor rebellions while having a loyal populace. The Old Republic had been…much more easy to manoeuvre through by all his predecessors accounts, with only the Northern Territories and remnant Confederacy of Independent States proving the same in these times. Even the Trade Federation had sufficient popular support, and armies of mechanical abominations, that any internal popular movement to harm their war efforts would be met by blood crackdowns. Likely killed before it could even arise.

"That is called work Intendant, and is your duty to seek to ensure" she answered in a bored tone "But you must ensure my work is not interrupted"

"That, Honoured Shaper, we can only ensure, here, for so long" he warned, yet again, the obvious "For the New Republic will eventually, take these systems. Likely within two to three of the local solar cycles if estimates hold, even with temporary accession to the heretical abomination that if the Confederacy. The New Republic are now, increasingly, incorruptible, to our infiltration but they are also more predictable. Any peace they make is temporary, and the abomination armies of the heathen Confederacy are not strong enough to hold this system even should they return"

"Excuses" was the immediate response, the ancient creature unconcerned clearly "If such unfurls, then other options shall be sought. Till then you shall obey. Seek resources as needed, and see to addressing the failures of the others through….whatever means your caste is fit to use"

Then tapped at the belly of the nearest native beast "I shall also require a testing biosphere for these iterations of womb-bred tests. And, seek further on records of these Nameless from historical records. Shaping with the lizards has gone poorly so far, and weapons against these Jeedaii are a priority once greater understanding of common war-creature creation with available resources has been completed"

'If I could I'd destroy such abominations, even if just to deny you the credit' he thought, but there was no other answer than to bow to his superior's will. Then find some means to have it implemented without disrupting his own plans….
