"Hmm…. huh? Where… where am I?"
Danny opened his eyes, only to be blinded by the morning sun. Once his eyes adjusted, he looked around and noticed he wasn't in his room. He wasn't home. He didn't hear his dad yelling about ghosts, his mom making breakfast, or Jazz's normal lecture about how she's a woman whose intellect deserves to be recognized. Instead, he heard a blissful silence. Weirdly enough, it didn't freak him out.
"What time is it?" He reached for his phone, which was conveniently placed on a charger for him. Someone must've charged it for him last night. "Hmm…. ten in the morning…" He sighed and began to drift back to sleep. "Wait. TEN IN THE MORNING?!" Danny wanted to panic and he would've, had it not been for the strong presence anchoring him down. He turned his head slightly and was shocked to see that he was not only sleeping next to Dash, but Dash was oh-so-very comfortable and… close to him. The soft and calm sound of Dash sleeping with a small smile was too much for Danny to handle. WHAT?!
Danny kissed Dash again and climbed onto his lap. This time, he added a little force and started to make out with Dash. Dash put his hands on Danny's waists and held him in place. He feigned giving Danny a chance at dominance, but their tongues fought and Dash was in control. They soon flipped positions, with Danny under Dash. The two couldn't stop themselves.
"Man… Danny is so fucking cute. If he keeps this up, we're gonna end up fucking, and I just got out the shower! At least if we do, we can shower together." Dash thought to himself as he and Danny continued to intensely make out with each other.
"Oh my gosh… Dash is so dominant. I can't stop- OH SHIT." Danny felt a hand slide up his shirt as he moaned into the kiss. "He's got his hands all over me… I've never thought I would end up here with him, but FUCK. I love this."
Dash's hands roamed Danny's body. Danny had his arms locked around Dash's neck, pulling him closer. He wrapped his legs around Dash's waist and slid his arm down to Dash's shorts. He grabbed a hold of something that made Dash jump.
"Watch it! Don't do that…" Dash whispered as Danny's moans of pleasure were muffled by the kiss.
"Sorry, Dash… I can't stop myself." Danny moaned lustfully as he began to stroke Dash slowly, making sure that he let Dash know that he was in control..
"Heh… You don't want to play this game. I'm warning you." Dash smirked again.
Danny took it as a challenge. "And if I do?"
Dash snaked his hand from under the back of Danny's shirt and slid it to the front. He glided his fingers down until he reached Danny's own length in his jeans. Danny soon realized that he was at Dash's mercy. He really wanted this to happen. Forget everything that happened today and finally have sex for the first time? Sounds like a plan.
"Mmmm..." Danny whined. "D-Dash..."
Dash began to ground his hips into Danny, eliciting lustful sounds from the otherwise shy and quiet ghost boy. It seemed like this was what Dash wanted, and honestly, so did Danny. Yes, he came with the intentions of both getting away from home and everything that just happened earlier. He came here with the intention... of smoothing things over with Dash. There was no WAY he could've imagined that this would be the way things would end up.
BUT HEY, here they are. Very interesting how things turn out... (Talk about loving hard.)
The two young adults—quite lovestruck with each other—finally broke their session and looked at each other, trying to regain their breath.
Danny looked at Dash's quiet, sleeping face. It all came rushing back to him. Showing up at Dash's house, being brought into Dash's room, and—
"I… kissed Dash last night…" He managed to say quietly to himself. He reached out to his phone again and noticed something shocking.
5 MISSED CALLS: SAM (last night)
5 MISSED CALLS: JAZZ (last night)
TEXT FROM SAM: "Danny, it's been two weeks. Don't push me away."
TEXT FROM JAZZ: "I know you're going thru it, but don't push Sam away. Don't allow ur fight w Tucker to stop ur connection w Sam. Trust me little bro"
Danny chose to respond to Jazz first. She knew he needed to be away from things with Sam and Tucker until they all cooled down.
DANNY: "morning jazz, i'll give sam a call today. I won't push her away anymore than i already have."
JAZZ: "Good morning, Danny. That's good. Where are you? You know I'm supposed to watch you til mom and dad return from their trip, even though you're 18..."
DANNY: "been mending a bridge and healing an old wound with an old friend. he's actually taught me to not be scared of my past."
JAZZ: "DASH!?"
DANNY: "yes jasmine. dash. he's a really good person once you get to know him."
JAZZ: "OK. Just make sure you at least come by before tonight. And please check on Sam, she's been really down lately."
DANNY: "i will."
He set his phone back down and turned his head to Dash. Somehow, someway… waking up to the sight of Dash made Danny feel like he was becoming a different person, one that isn't scared of Dash anymore. It was good to know that they were on better terms now that they've talked things out. It was also good to know that he could call Dash his boyfriend, something he never thought he would say.
"I guess I'm a lucky kid." Danny said to himself as he cuddled up to Dash and drifted back to sleep.
Sam was at Fenton Works with Jazz as she had been for the last few days. She paced around the living room and anxiously waited for Danny to call.
"Sam, you got to relax. He'll call, just give him time."
"Jazz, it's been two weeks. TWO. WHOLE. WEEKS. I-" Sam stopped herself mid-sentence when her phone rang. "Danny?"
"No, it's Tucker. Listen, Sam. Can we talk for a minute?"
Her eyes lit up in fury. "Give me one GOOD reason why I shouldn't say no, or better yet, break you in half like I promised to TWO WEEKS AGO."
"I want to talk to you about what I did. How stupid I've been for the last six months. How-"
"How you used me to hurt your now ex-best friend and my ex-boyfriend, then set him up to be attacked, and THEN get into a huge fight with him? All because you couldn't stop being so damn JEALOUS?!" Sam screamed so loud, Jazz almost dropped her glass.
"Sam, please. I-"
"NO. I don't want to talk to you. I don't." She turned to Jazz, who seemingly attempted to reason with her.
"He owes you an apology anyways, Sam. Just let him come here and talk, then if you want to stay done with him after, that's up to you." Jazz told her.
"Against my better judgment." Sam groaned. "Fine. You better not do anything else stupid or I'll smash your head in." She said before hanging up and returning to her anxious state. "What the hell, Jazz? Why won't Danny talk to me?"
"Sam, Danny is dealing with a lot right now. I don't think he wants you to get caught in the crossfire. Last time you got involved, he disappeared into the night and wasn't seen for months! Just give him space."
Sam sighed and sat down for the first time in two weeks. "I guess you're right, Jazz. Maybe he just needs more time…"
There was a knock at the door. Jazz walked over and answered it. Like the devil incarnate, Tucker was there. He looked brutal. "I see your injuries my brother gave you, although minor, are still prevalent." She commented. "Come in."
Hours later, Dash and Danny were awake and, after some breakfast, they were cuddled up together in his room playing Madden NFL 24, Dash's favorite game. Surprisingly, Danny was really good at football.
"At least you're a challenge, Danny. Kwan is so easy to beat now." Dash smiled as he looked down at the boy in front of him.
"Who do you think taught me how to play? After the first match, I beat him 10 times in a row." Danny laughed as he focused back on the game. "I WIN! OH YEAHHHH!" He set the controller down next to him and jumped up. He did a victory dance, which had Dash laughing and giving him a round of applause.
"Very good, baby boy. You beat me. I doubt you could beat me at NBA 2K though." Dash smirked.
"Are you challenging the king of basketball?" Danny raised an eyebrow as he sat back in his spot and picked up the controller. "Football may not be my strong suit, but I thrive at basketball."
"Maybe."
"Well, let's make it interesting. Loser of each game we play has to lose a part of their outfit."
Dash grinned. This was his kind of game. "You're gonna regret even accepting this challenge."
"Sure I will." Danny retorted playfully. "Let's dance."
"I'm giving you five minutes to talk, Foley. You better start before I change my mind and send you flying out the door." Sam stood in front of Tucker with her arms crossed and a look on her face that would give Paulina a run for her money.
"I was the one who set up Danny. I shouldn't have done it, it was stupid and I'll never do it again. I'm sorry, Sam, for everything." Tucker said as he stood in front of his former friend. "Sam, I know I used you to hurt him because I was jealous of how close you guys were and-"
"It's taking everything in me right now… to not snap your fucking neck." Sam interrupted calmly. "I told you before this happened. If you do some shit that caused us both to lose Danny, I would kill you with my bare hands. However, seeing as how Jazz has managed to keep me calm thus far, I'll attempt to hold back from that."
"I wouldn't even be mad at you if you did kill me where I stand right now. I deserve it for being a bad friend." He lamented.
"That's a fucking understatement, Tucker. You allowed your jealousy to get in the way so much that now he doesn't want to talk to either one of us, and our friendship status is up in the air. Why? It's all because of you." Sam was furious, and Tucker could see that. He knew he screwed up big time, and unlike the first fight he had with Danny, this one may never be repaired. All because of his jealousy. "I'm DONE with this, Tucker. This has been going on for almost the last seven months, and I'm tired of being caught in the crossfire of you being jealous of Danny." She turned away from him and sighed. "You drove Danny away… drove him away from us… because you couldn't be happy of him finally being accepted by everyone."
Silence fell. It was a tense silence that could be cut with a knife. Jazz sat in anticipation of what might happen next, Tucker was sweating and trying not to break, and Sam was staring sharp daggers into his soul.
"I'll be honest. I don't know if you'll give me another chance, I won't blame you if you don't. I wouldn't take me back either." Tucker sighed. "I just want to say that even though I betrayed you and Danny, I'll do anything to get you both back. It's our last year in high school together, Sam. I wouldn't have got this far without both of you."
"Tucker-" Sam started before her phone rang. She turned around and saw who it was. She immediately answered it. "Hello?"
"Hey Sam." Danny spoke from the other side of the phone.
"Danny? I thought you forgot about me. I haven't heard from you in two weeks!"
"Yeah… sorry about that. I needed some breathing space from the world. OH YEAH! ANOTHER WIN FOR ME!"
"I'm glad you're okay. You sound busy." Sam laughed.
"Like I told Jazz, Dash is a cool person when you get to know him. I've been at his house playing video games with him all day."
Sam took this very well. She always had a feeling that Dash was nicer than he led on. "I guess he's the one you needed. Good for you, Danny."
"No one could ever replace you, Sam. You gonna be at my house later today?"
"Yeah, I will. I might finally go back home after being here for longer than I should've been." She smiled. "I'll see you later."
"See you later, Sam. Love you."
"I love you too." She said as she hung up. She looked at Jazz, then Tucker, and back to Jazz. "I can finally relax."
"I told you he'd call. You're very special to him, Sam. Both of you are." Jazz stated as she walked over to the two. "I know you guys are having a fight right now, but don't think of it as a fight. Think of it as a bump in the road of your relationship. You've been with Danny for as long as I can remember, and every single time there was a disagreement, you reunited and were stronger than ever."
Tucker looked in Sam's direction. He still felt like shit after he set his own best friend up and caused the seemingly imminent self-destruction of his friendship. Jazz was right, though. They always came back stronger than ever. Why wouldn't they come back now?
"I know you want to kill me, but I think we should talk to Danny together." Tucker said.
"You're on my hit list, but I think you're right." She wanted to punch him in the face, eradicate him right where he stood, eliminate him from existence. For all the things she wanted to do to Tucker, Sam knew he had a point. All three of them have been friends for years and this was their last year in high school together. Of course they would be friends after, but who knows what the future held for them? They've been through a lot together, but this was not like any other fight they've had. Tucker had seriously messed up, Danny was being distant, and Sam? Well, Sam thought she was the only sane one in the group. "We've been friends since we were little kids, and as much as I seriously want to kick your head off, it's best that we try to talk to each other… and Danny, in order to know the fate of our relationship."
Later that evening, Danny was still with Dash when Jazz called. He didn't answer because he was busy—stuck under Dash's body, that is—with his legs wrapped around the football player's waist, wrists locked behind his neck, and intensely making out with him. Discarded pizza boxes, controllers laid down, and the sound of R music playing in the background set the scene. Who knew Dash liked artists such as LSG, Tank, and Jaheim? Very iconic.
"Is it a little hot?" Danny asked, his face feeling hotter than ever.
"Yeah. Let's lose some more of these clothes, shall we?" Dash smirked, first kicking off his underwear, and then rising up to take off his shirt, revealing his muscled chest.
"Fuck, my underwear is really tight. Can you take them off for me?" Lust and desire was written all in the ghost boy's voice.
"All you had to do was ask, love. Raise your hips." So he did. Dash proceeded to hook his fingers in the waistband of Danny's underwear and slide them off with ease, chucking them in the nearest corner. They were both naked now. "Better?"
Danny immediately got back in his same position on his back, snatching Dash down with him. "Perfect."
The music switched to Beyoncé, more specifically, the song "Haunted." Dash hovered over Danny, looking down into his eyes. They seemed so clouded in love, drawn to nothing more than the energy in the room. He was so lost in Danny's eyes, and Danny got lost in his. Then, at the snap of a finger, they were connected at the mouth. Danny went to throw his arms around Dash's neck, but—
The hunter waits for the prey to be completely unaware of his next move. It's a game of chess, not checkers.
"Nuh uh. Rest your pretty arms there for a second…"
He was too lost in the heat of the moment to even care about anything going on. "Yes, sir." Danny whispered.
"Sir? My, you're very proper, Daniel. You make me sound so high and mighty." Dash chuckled.
"Y-Yes, sir." Danny had his eyes closed. The music seemed to get louder and his thoughts seemed to get more clouded in lust.
"Tell me what you want, angel." Dash whispered huskily.
"I want you…" That's all the words that came out of his mouth as his eyes fluttered open. "I just want you…"
Time froze. The two eighteen-year-olds looked into each other's eyes deeply. Dash was mesmerized by the sparkle in the ghost boy's eyes. He watched them glimmer in the dim light, the way they looked so innocent and pure, and how they… drew him… in. He stared into those soft, light blue orbs. Then, he lowered his unclothed chest onto Danny's, still focused on his eyes.
"You want me?"
"Please… please, Dash. I want you to kiss me, leave hickeys on my neck, and…" The music coincided with the final part of Danny's sentence as his breath hitched and his eyes fluttered.
"Fuck me…"
A/N: I'M BACK! I have been gone for quite some time, but everything is finally cooled off and I can get back to writing this detailed trainwreck (my love child... of a trainwreck that I came up with in English honors, of all places.) The next few chapters are going to contain some very sensitive material, as our favorite quarterback and ghost boy finally unravel the truth of what took place what will soon be seven months ago, the ultimate climax of this FIRST section of the once unbreakable trio... and a little bit of a spicy moment for the two. As if the ending of this chapter wasn't heated enough. LOL anyways, enjoy this crazy ride I'll be taking you guys on!
