Author's note:this is my first Danny phantom story, I thank Cthulhu rex and emyy250 for helping me, and this chapter takes place in the chapter called One of a Kind, although the original chapter covers several days for this story the chapter covers only one day, and after Paulina from the future is introduced to her parents from the past, Paulina from the future will be called Paula.

The morning sun was just beginning to peek through the windows of Paulina's room when she and her future self found themselves face to face, plunged into an awkward silence. The Paulina of the past, still in shock from the encounter, stirred in her bed, while her version of the future watched with a melancholy look on her face.

"Now what?" murmured the Pauline of the past, without taking her eyes off her reflection of the future. "What do we tell our parents?"

The Paulina of the future sighed, her gaze full of worry. "I don't know... We have to make them think I'm real."

Suddenly, a ghostly figure materialized in the room, her presence flooding the space with a glowing aura. Eros, the ghost who had transported them back in time, approached them with a soft smile.

"Calm down, girls. I can manipulate your parents' memories into believing you're a cousin of theirs. That way there won't be any trouble."

Paulina from the past was relieved, while her future self hesitated. "And how will you do that?"

"I have the ability to alter the perception of reality," Eros explained with a hint of mystery in his voice. "I can make them believe whatever I want."

The Pauline of the future nodded, while the Pauline of the past was a little hesitant. "But what if it doesn't work, what if they find out I'm not your cousin?"

Eros reassured her with a reassuring gesture. "Don't worry, my power is absolute. And just so there's no doubt, I'll implant them with a name that resembles yours, but isn't the same."

Eros disappeared from the room with a flash of light. "I'm going to look for your parents. In a little while, everything will be ready."

As soon as Eros left, the door to the room opened and Paulina's parents came in with a face full of surprise at the sight of two Paulinas.

"Paulina, what's going on here?" asked Paulina's father with a slightly trembling voice.

The two Paulinas looked at each other nervously. "Dad, Mom?" asked Paulina from the past with a tone of voice that sought to calm the situation.

"Yes, who is that girl?" asked Paulina's mother, her look full of confusion.

The Paulina of the future got out of bed and walked towards her parents with a calm countenance. "Tios, I'm Paula. I'm Paulina's cousin. I look a lot like her, don't I?"

Paulina's parents looked at each other, their faces reflecting a mixture of amazement and confusion. "Paula..." Paulina's father muttered, not taking his eyes off his daughter from the future. "But... we don't know you - where do you come from?"

"From a nearby town," Paula explained with a forced smile. "My parents went on a trip and I couldn't stay home alone. Paulina offered to let me stay with her."

Paulina's parents looked at each other with growing uncertainty. "But...we've never been told about a cousin of Paulina's who looks exactly like her."

Paula nodded with a smile. "Yes, I know. It's been a long time since we've seen each other."

Suddenly, a flash of violet light materialized in the room. Eros, who had left only a minute before, reappeared and used his powers to alter the memories of Paulina's parents when he finished he looked at the 2 Paulinas with a satisfied look.

"It's done," Eros said in a tone of voice that echoed in the room. "Their memories are altered. They now believe you are his niece."

Eros vanished again in a flash of light, leaving the two Paulinas and their parents with the feeling that something had changed.

Paulina's parents now saw Paula with a different look. The confusion had disappeared from their eyes, replaced by immediate recognition.

"Paula, dear," said Paulina's mother, stroking her daughter's cheek from the future. "I can't believe you look so much like Paulina. You are identical."

Paulina felt a mixture of relief and uneasiness. Her parents' memories had been tampered with, but at least they no longer saw her as a stranger.

"We're not really identical," Paula said. "We're cousins. And if you'll allow it, I'd like to stay at Amity Park for a while."

Paulina's parents agreed with a smile, without a moment's hesitation.

An hour later, the two Paulinas found themselves ready for school. Paula, wearing the same outfit as her past self, but with a slight touch of maturity in her appearance, was preparing to face an unknown future.

At school, Professor Lancer introduced Paula to the class as "Paulina's cousin." Astonishment swept through the classroom, especially among the boys who had never seen young Paula before. Instead of cousins, everyone thought they were twin sisters, Paula looked slightly older, but enough like Paulina that the difference wasn't so great.

"Paula, welcome to our class," Lancer said with a smile, as all the students watched curiously.

Paulina, not missing the opportunity, took the chance to approach Danny and tell him what she had to say.

"Danny?"

Danny turned to look at her with a questioning look.

Paulina felt a little nervous, but steeled herself. "I was wondering if... if you'd want to go out with me again."

Silence fell over the classroom, all eyes turned to her. Paulina's confession surprised everyone, especially Sam, who thought Paulina was trying to use Danny.

"I'm not trying to do anything that isn't sincere," Paulina said, with a look that sought Danny's understanding. "I just...wanted to try again."

Danny, not knowing how to react, just stared at Paulina.

Paulina, with a mixture of hope and fear, said, "I'll give you time to think. Let me know your answer later."

As Paulina walked away to find Paula, she found her surrounded by a group of boys asking her out on a date. The boys, charmed by her appearance similar to Paulina's, had forgotten that Paula was their "cousin."

Paula, with a tone of voice that radiated kindness, turned the boys down. "I'm sorry, but I'm expecting someone."

Paulina approached her and watched her with a questioning look. "Paula, why didn't you turn them away like you always do, what's wrong with you?"

Paula sighed gloomily. "The events of the future have changed me. I realize now that life is too short to waste time on things that don't matter. And Danny... Danny is someone who really matters."

Events unfolded as before in the original timeline, until Lancer gave Danny a "C" for his biology report. Paulina approached Danny once again, with renewed hope.

"Danny, have you thought about what I said yet? Do you want to go out with me again?"

Danny stared at her, his gaze full of uncertainty. "What...how?"

Paulina smiled with a mixture of sadness and hope. "It doesn't matter anymore. The important thing is that... that you like the idea."

Danny, still confused by Paulina's sudden confession, hesitated for a moment before saying, "I don't know... I have to think about it."

"To be continued..."
