Anew Adventures of New Kombat Life

Everything is all black, nothing and literally nothing for a moment until a pile of sand that being filed by some sand coming down.

And then one last grind of sand that fell suddenly exploded forming the entire universe with the galaxies, planets, suns, stars, and all the life that lives within this universe.

Within this timeline.

"Having liberated the Hourglass and become Keeper of Time, my next task was to restart history. Not beholden to past events, I was free to craft a new era. It was with humility and restraint that I approached this blank canvas. After careful preparation, I began work. Painting over the darkness. After eons passed, I sketched out the realms. After eons more, I brushed them in with life. In my new era, all beings will have opportunity to find peace. Whether or not they do, will be their responsibility. For my power only permits me to begin this endeavor. It is the duty of mortals to finish it."

The scene goes through the stars and galaxies going towards earth, showing the peaceful scenery from the high view of a mountain.

"Wow, isn't this a great view?" A man asked.

"Yes, such a wonderful view we get to share it with our beloved son." The woman nodded and looks down at the sleeping baby in her arms.

"To think, it's only been a month since this little one came into our lives." The father poked the baby's cheek with his finger.

"I even like the name we gave him." The mother smiled.

"Yugo, he will be somebody who can do great things." The father believed strongly.

"Alibert, you're thinking too far ahead for the little one. He just started out in life." The mother chuckled.

"I'm sorry, Priyanka. But I'm just so damn happy to have a child we have share everything together with." Alibert smiled.

Alibert is an older man with a heavily built (and uncharacteristically young). He sports a short brown beard and mustache, as well as a large straw hat. He wears a blue shirt, light brown pants, and strong-looking shoes. He is also carrying a large backpack.

Priyanka is a woman dark tan complexion, a small, pointed nose, and dark brown shoulder-length hair. She wears a white and blue shirt, pale brown pants, and white shoes.

The parents are shown to be standing together on the ledge of the highest view from the mountain side, looking over the great view of a valley they have come across together and it is also their special spot where they first met on a hiking group trip, they signed up for to get some fresh air and a little vacation from their work.

And now, they are sharing this very spot with their newborn son who looks at the view and lets out a cute giggle showing that he loves the view here very much.

"See, I told you he would like this place." Alibert laughed with joy.

"Okay, mister. You win this time, but let's make sure that he doesn't grow into a fear of heights otherwise we may not have a family picnic up here should we decide to do so." Priyanka rolled her eyes.

"That won't be a problem because he's a brave boy!" Alibert smiled at baby Yugo who smiles back.

(Years Later. In Another Realm, Outworld)

A dozen people are gathering around to see and hear the two men who are selling something important from their home cart, trying to sell this elixir that supposed to be great than just simply drinking for teatime.

"My friends, your patience is about to be rewarded. For We saved the best for last. We have recently discovered a cure-all of unrivaled potency. It will soon be on the shelves in every home of Outworld." An elderly man proclaimed.

"That's right, Shang Tsung. This elixir is crafted from an ancient recipe. It has flowers. Margovian nectar. Powdered teeth of an Arctikan dragon. All this and more, infused with powerful Lekorian magic. There is a village, in the next canton ever, where everyone has purchased this miracle cure." A young man stated with a confident smile.

"And quite the miracle it is, Qilby. Overnight, all diseases, even Tarkat, have disappeared. Now magic this potent is expensive. And I am sure you're asking yourselves: can I afford it? But the true question you must ask is: can I afford to be without it?" Shang Tsung smirked.

Shang Tsung is a decrepit old man. His skin was pale with long, balding white hair, a beard and mustache, with dangling thin fingers and long fingernails. He wears a yellow robe with some ragged clothes underneath and sandals.

Qilby is a young man with long light brown hair accompanied by a tied-up beard and amber eyes with golden-framed glasses. He wears a white open shirt with long loose sleeves, a pair of baggy brown pants, and sandal-like shoes. He also wears a defined hat with large horn-like protuberances.

Their confident words seem to have gotten the attention of the people as they are being intrigued about this special elixir they have spoken of, even hearing about that it can work on Outworld's most dangerous disease that has ever hit Outworld that is known as Tarkat.

"(That's right, come and buy our "elixir" to give yourself some hope. I can only hope that it does work in some way, but even if it doesn't, we'll still get some money off from them.)" Qilby thought smirked.

"Step right this way and get your elixir!" Qilby gestured to their cart.

"You lie, Shang Tsung! Qilby! Your cures are useless!" An angry man shouted, calling out their lies which also got the crowd's attention.

"(Oh shit, is that man from before! He has come here because of the ruse we gave him with the elixir.)" Qilby thought cursed as he recognizes the man.

"Hello good, sir. I see you have found us, are you interested in some tea?" Qilby asked, keeping up his positive and kind face.

"No! For I was someone who was fooled enough to have believed you. My daughter was dying when you came to my farm. You promised a miracle and I gave you all I had." Grieving Father glared up close to the face.

"And how is your daughter to this day?" Qilby asked.

"When my daughter drank the elixir, she was moving around all happy like the disease never hit her. But the thing is… Her body was still showing signs of the disease, and then days later she died!" Grieving Father revealed what happened to his daughter.

"Oh my, sir. I am very sorry; I can assure you that we really did intend on giving her a cure. I even used my magic that it would work." Qibly said.

"Except your magic is worthless, your cure is nothing but a failure that will only hides away the pain while they become oblivious to death taking them away!" Grieving Father shouted in rage.

"You both don't bring miracles. You only brought more pain!" Grieving Father grabbed Qilby by the neck.

"B-But wouldn't it be better to have lived happily with what little life ones have before passing on? At least your daughter had a good life." Shang Tsung stated.

But that only made Grieving Father angrier as he also grabs Shang Tsung and throws them both down onto the ground, and the people start getting angry that they were about to buy some weak and probably fake potions.

"Now, now, surely we can be reasonable." Qilby tried to reason with them, but they just gather around and start beating them up.

(Later, Nighttime)

Rain has come as like the weather is mocking the two, Qilby and Shang Tsung are seen sitting on the steps of their cart together with the latter removing a mask revealing his younger self, faking the elder act the whole time.

"That went well… So pathetically." Qilby sighed.

"Maybe if your magic as stronger, and actually worked, then we wouldn't be in this mess." Shang Tsung blamed Qilby for the weak magic power.

"Well, it's not my fault that I ended up losing an arm after escaping prison and most of my magic was taken away before my imprisonment." Qilby reminded him of his condition and showed him his missing left arm. And showing a disgusted and angry expression.

But then, a mysterious woman appeared before them.

"It is an excellent ruse, your disguise. And your kindness. Backwater folks are far more likely to trust a kindly old man." A woman commented, walking up to them.

"Who goes there?" Qilby asked, glaring at the mysterious woman.

"Here on behalf of a dissatisfied customer? If it's revenge you want, have at it. If it's restitution... there's nothing left." Shang Tsung said, the people from earlier nearly took everything from their cart.

"Except for a few extra moneys, I happen to keep safe hidden. But I suggest you leave now or else you will meet an untimely death." Qilby threatened with his eyes glowing. But truth is, he can't do much with his magic, let alone kill anyone with it. So, this is just for intimidation.

However, this mysterious woman isn't fazed by the threat as she already knew that he can't do anything to her and smiles.

"What I want, Shang Tsung, Qilby, is to elevate you. To make you the great sorcerers that now you two can only pretend to be." The mysterious woman said.

Qilby and Shang Tsung look at each other for a moment as they can tell this woman seems to have gotten their attention and appears to be offering something that she may be able to give them.

"A generous offer. Why us?" Shang Tsung asked.

"Both of you are uniquely resilient. Who else could eke out a living travelling Outworld's hinterlands, selling quack cures and fake magic?" The mysterious woman gestured to the cart.

"A living? It is barely survival." Shang Tsung pointed out with his eyes looking angry.

"And I have REAL magic! But unfortunately, I've been unable to tap onto my power, it is like this is turning me into a big joke!" Qilby stated angrily.

"And it's working." Shang Tsung rolled his eyes, earning a glare from his partner.

"And you were meant for more. To live among kings, not peasants. But since before you were born, you have been conspired against. By those who fear how formidable you could become." The mysterious woman stated.

"(How does she know this like she has known us for years even though this is our first-time meeting?)" Shang Tsung thought wondered in shock.

"Just who are you exactly?" Qilby asked.

"I am your deliverer, Shang Tsung. Qilby. Join me and I will put the realms at your feet." The mysterious woman held out her hand to both of them.

They couldn't believe it, was this woman really going to help them become something more than they could possibly dream of and this woman doesn't look like she's lying about it either.

This was it? this was the big break they have been looking for since being struck in the poor and struggling to get by with what little they have with their schemes, but now everything was coming up their way and all who looks down on them will soon regret every doubting their powers.

Qilby starts with a soft chuckling then slowly starts getting louder and louder turning into an evil laugh that echoes throughout the bamboo woods.

(Earthrealm, Fengjian Village)

The just rose from a horizon a few moments ago with the farmers of the village have gotten up early to check on the harvest and other farm chores while the rest of the village are doing their own thing.

Which leads us to one boy standing on the rooftop with one foot on the tips of his toes, his eyes are close, and his hands are together.

"Focus, Yugo Wakfu. You got this; you can do this." The boy, revealing himself to be Yugo, said to himself.

Yugo is a young boy with a light tan skin and dark blonde hair, as well as dark brown eyes. He also wears long and big blue hair with a fur-like attachment at the bottom, and the top looks like ears downed ears. His clothes are consisted of an orange sleeveless shirt with a yellow pocket and a button over his blue pants, a piece of rope tied around his waist and over the yellow shirt, and blue shoes that are almost like sandals.

Yugo slowly moves his other foot down sliding on the roof and motions both his hands into a full and perfect circle then being completely still for a moment, waiting for something.

Two flies came flying in close to Yugo, just doing some fly stuff until suddenly they vanished from a swift movement.

Yugo open his eyes and look at his hand, slowly opening it to see that he managed to catch both flies in the same move.

"Yes, I got them! Looks like all that training is paying off!" Yugo smirked.

"Morning, big brother, Yugo." A girl called out to him from the door.

"Morning, little sister. I'm surprise to see you up to early, Connie." Yugo greeted back to his little sister.

"Well, today is the day a new episode of my favorite cartoon show is on, so it would be natural and logically for me to be up at this hour." Connie explained.

Connie is a 12-year-old Indian American girl with dark brown skin and a slim figure. She has a prominent nose with black eyes with thick eyebrows and dark brown puffy hair that is waist-length. She wears a pair of magenta glasses with rose-colored lenses. Her clothes are a white-mint green dress, a sunhat, and peach-colored boots with no socks. In the second intro, she wears a white, button-down, collared tank top, gray button-up shorts, her pink glow bracelet, and peach sneakers with white bottoms, laces, and socks.

"Oh, that make sense." Yugo said.

"I see you're doing martial art training again." Connie said.

"Yeah, Madam Bo is a tough woman you do not want to be on the short end of the stick and well-behave if you want any of her fine cooking." Yugo described.

"Doesn't dad also cook at her restaurant?" Connie mentioned.

"Yeah, but he's only second to Madam Bo's cooking." Yugo stated.

"Which is exactly why dad is training under her in the kitchen." Connie said, and the two siblings laugh a little together.

"Man, I can still remember the first day of training under Madam Bo. She really knows how to pack a punch, even when me, Raiden, and Kung Lao fought together, she still put us under her feet." Yugo remembered that day.

"Who would've thought a little old lady could make two man and a kid cry." Connie was surprised.

"Hey! I am not a kid!" Yugo stated.

"Are you sure about that?" Connie asked with a teasing grin.

"Sis, you know full-well that I am 17 years old!" Yugo pointed out his true age.

"True, but unfortunately, your body is still the same size of a 12-year-old being that of 3'8" tall." Connie pointed out.

"My body is just taking its time to grow at the right moment, and I'll be the tallest man in the whole village! Just you wait!" Yugo declared.

Yugo never likes how others keep on mentioning his height since he still hasn't grown much over the years, it's a sensitive subject to him and hopes people would not mention that at all until he can grow taller.

"Look, can we just not talk about my height right now?" Yugo asked.

"Okay, then… How about the fact that you're still here and not at the field to help Raiden Kung Lao gathering the harvest for this time of the year?" Connie mentioned the harvest gathering.

"Huh! The Harvest gathering, I nearly forgotten! I gotta get going now!" Yugo hurried over to the edge of the roof then jumps down.

Yugo grabs hold of the pole that is in front of his two-story house and slides down like a fireman, then landing in front of his mom Priyanka who has a dark gray bang and a white coat over her pale blue shirt with rolled-up sleeves, tan pants, and dark red low-heeled shoes.

"Morning, mom! Off to the field!" Yugo greeted his mom.

"Have a good time, son." Priyanka waved smiling at her son.

Today is a brand-new day for the Fengjian village, but something different may happen.
