Hey guys back with chapter 7! This is where my canon twist will start to change the story route that I am going into. Enjoy.

The crowd buzzed with anticipation as Sasuke and Gaara stood at opposite ends of the arena, their eyes locked. Sasuke's Sharingan glowed an eerie red, analyzing every subtle movement of Gaara's sand. Gaara remained unnervingly still, his eyes distant, the sand at his feet swirling lazily in anticipation of the battle to come.

Without wasting a second, Sasuke became a blur of motion, charging forward with incredible speed, aiming a quick strike at Gaara's torso. But before his fist could make contact, Gaara's sand shot up instinctively, forming a solid shield between the two. The sand absorbed the impact effortlessly, leaving Gaara untouched.

Gaara's cold voice cut through the tension. "Your attacks won't reach me."

Sasuke frowned but didn't back down. His Sharingan picked up the smallest shifts in Gaara's movements, and he increased his speed, weaving through Gaara's defenses with fluid precision. He attacked from different angles, each strike swift and precise. But no matter how fast Sasuke moved, Gaara's sand blocked every attack with mechanical precision.

Gaara's eyes widened ever so slightly. Sasuke's speed was reminiscent of another—the green-clad taijutsu user who had pushed him to his limits before. But now, Gaara felt something darker, something more dangerous. He wasn't just annoyed—he was unraveling.

"I need your blood!" Gaara suddenly screamed, his voice shaking with a manic edge. His sand lashed out at Sasuke with aggressive tendrils, attempting to capture him.

Sasuke backflipped out of reach, landing a few feet away, beads of sweat forming on his brow. "What's wrong with him?" Sasuke muttered, his eyes narrowing. Gaara's erratic behavior sent a chill down his spine.

Gaara's breathing became erratic, and he grinned, his expression twisted with madness. "Mother… she wants your blood… Uchiha blood."

Sasuke wasted no time. Forming a series of hand seals, he took a deep breath and unleashed a powerful jutsu. "Fire Style: Great Fireball Jutsu!"

A massive torrent of flame roared toward Gaara, the heat distorting the air as it bore down on him. But Gaara's sand formed a thick barrier, absorbing the flames without so much as a flinch. When the fire cleared, Gaara stood untouched behind his sand, his eyes now wide with a twisted glee.

"You're strong… but I need more… more blood!" Gaara's sand exploded around him, forming a large dome that completely encased him. Only a small sand eye floated above the dome, allowing Gaara to observe the battlefield.

Sasuke scowled, watching the dome form. 'What is he doing in there?' He pulled out a handful of shuriken and hurled them at the sand eye, but they bounced harmlessly off the dome. "Tch." His frustration grew, but he quickly formulated a plan.

He sprinted up the wall of the arena, using his speed and momentum to scale it. The crowd gasped in awe, watching as Sasuke reached the top of the arena, his eyes locking onto Gaara's sand dome. From this vantage point, he could strike with precision.

Sasuke went through a flurry of seals before his hand began to crackle with electricity, the familiar sound of chirping birds filling the air as he gathered chakra in his palm. The Chidori.

The crowd fell into silence, their eyes glued to Sasuke as the crackling of his Chidori echoed through the arena. Kakashi, watching from the stands, eye smiled in approval. "He's using it."

Without hesitation, Sasuke blitzed down the wall, his Chidori blazing as he rapidly closed in on Gaara's dome. The lightning-infused attack struck the dome with incredible force, piercing through the dense layers of sand and reaching Gaara's flesh. For the first time, Gaara felt pain.

Gaara's eyes widened in shock as he stared at the blood dripping from the wound. "My… blood?" he whispered, his voice trembling. His breathing grew erratic as he brought his hand to the wound, staring at the crimson liquid in disbelief. "It's my blood!"

Gaara's scream echoed through the arena, his voice filled with agony and madness. His sand erupted violently, lashing out at Sasuke, who barely managed to leap back in time to avoid being crushed.

The monstrous arm of sand emerged from the dome, larger and more grotesque than anything Sasuke had seen before. Gaara's voice had changed, distorted by the madness taking over. "More blood!"

Sasuke stood his ground, but the reality of what he was facing began to sink in. This wasn't just a fight anymore—Gaara was transforming, and whatever was coming next was beyond anything Sasuke had prepared for.

The tension in the arena was suffocating, the air thick with anticipation and dread as the battle between Sasuke and Gaara unfolded. The spectators watched in stunned silence as the monstrous sand arm reached out from Gaara's dome, signaling the beginning of something far darker.

Naruto leaned forward, his eyes wide as he watched Gaara's erratic movements. His heart pounded in his chest, a sense of unease washing over him. "What's wrong with him?" he muttered, feeling a knot of worry tighten in his gut. "He's acting… crazy."

Beside him, Shikamaru's eyes narrowed. "There's something strange about Gaara," he said, his tone serious. "Gaara's not like us. His sand… it's alive."

Naruto clenched his fists, his concern shifting toward Sasuke. "Sasuke's strong, but… this doesn't feel right."

In the stands, Temari and Kankuro exchanged nervous glances, both of them fully aware of what was happening inside Gaara's dome.

"This is bad," Kankuro muttered, his eyes flicking between Gaara and Sasuke. "He's losing control."

Temari nodded, her face pale. "If Gaara transforms here… this might throw our plans at risk."

They both knew the danger Gaara posed—not just to Sasuke, but to everyone in the arena. Once Gaara slipped into madness, not even they could pull him back.

Kakashi stood beside Guy, his visible eye narrowing as he observed Sasuke's movements. "He's used the Chidori effectively, but Sasuke might be in danger" he muttered, a mix of pride and concern in his voice.

Guy crossed his arms, his usually enthusiastic demeanor replaced by a more serious tone. "Gaara's sand is no ordinary defense. It's going to take something powerful to break through it."

Kakashi nodded. "Sasuke's trying to finish this quickly, but I'm not sure if it'll be enough."

As everyone was focused on the spectacle below, the air seemed to shift. The sight of feathers drifting through the air caught Naruto's attention, and he blinked in confusion. "What…?"

Feathers began to fall gently from the sky, and slowly, the spectators in the stands began to slump over, their eyes drooping as sleep overtook them. Hikari, sitting beside Naruto, felt her eyelids growing heavy, but something wasn't right.

Her Sharingan activated instinctively, dispelling the genjutsu that had begun to take hold. "Naruto!" she hissed, shaking him. "It's a genjutsu! Snap out of it!"

Naruto blinked rapidly, the haze clearing from his mind as he quickly formed a hand seal. "Release!" With a small burst of chakra, he broke free of the genjutsu's grip. "What the heck is going on?!"

Hikari's eyes narrowed as she scanned the arena, her Sharingan picking up the subtle movements of shinobi disguised in the crowd. "This isn't just a genjutsu. Something bigger is happening."

The tension in the arena shifted from the ongoing battle to the sudden realization that something far more dangerous was unfolding. Explosions rocked the village in the distance, and the sound of clashing steel echoed through the air. An invasion had begun.

Up in the Kage spectator box, Hiruzen Sarutobi had been watching the arena closely, but his attention had shifted to the Kazekage seated beside him. Something was wrong. The Kazekage's aura had shifted, darkened, and Hiruzen could feel the malevolent energy radiating from him.

Then, in a swift motion, the Kazekage reached for a concealed blade. But before he could strike, Jiraiya was there, intercepting the blow with a powerful kick that sent shockwaves through the platform.

"Nice try," Jiraiya said, his voice low and dangerous. "But you're not fooling anyone, Orochimaru."

The Kazekage's veil fell away, revealing the pale, snake-like face of Orochimaru. His lips curled into a twisted smile. "Jiraiya… Sensei… it's been too long."

Orochimaru's sickening grin grew wider as his true form was revealed to Hiruzen and Jiraiya. The spectators in the stands remained unaware of the sudden turn of events, many still under the influence of the genjutsu, but the shinobi around them sensed the shift.

"You're as slippery as ever, Orochimaru," Jiraiya said, his usually carefree tone replaced with grim seriousness. He stood beside Hiruzen, poised for a fight, his eyes never leaving Orochimaru.

Hiruzen, the Third Hokage, felt a familiar weight settle over his chest as he gazed at his former student. "Orochimaru," he said quietly, his voice laced with disappointment. "I should have stopped you long ago."

Orochimaru's eyes gleamed with dark amusement. "Ah, Sensei, always so sentimental. But sentiment won't save you this time."

Jiraiya shifted, his muscles tensing as he prepared for what was to come. "What's your plan here, Orochimaru? You're not foolish enough to think you can just walk into the heart of Konoha and—"

But Orochimaru cut him off with a sinister chuckle. "Plans, Jiraiya? My plans have already begun." He gestured casually toward the arena below where Sasuke and Gaara's battle was continuing amidst the chaos of the invasion. "The leaf will burn, and from its ashes, a new era will rise."

Without warning, explosions erupted throughout the village. Flames shot into the air as buildings crumbled, and the sounds of battle reverberated across the arena. The invasion had begun in earnest. Hidden Sound and Sand shinobi flooded the streets, attacking both civilians and Konoha shinobi alike.

Jiraiya's eyes narrowed as he took in the devastation. "So, you've brought war to our doorstep."

"War?" Orochimaru's smile twisted further. "This is no war. This is merely a beginning, Jiraiya. A prelude to something much greater."

Hiruzen's hand tightened on his staff, his gaze hardening. "We will stop you, Orochimaru. No matter the cost."

But before Hiruzen could act, Orochimaru raised his hand, and a barrier of purple flames erupted around the Kage box, separating them from the rest of the arena. The barrier hummed with dark chakra, impenetrable to those outside.

Jiraiya's fists clenched as he realized what was happening. "You've sealed us in."

"Exactly," Orochimaru purred, his voice dripping with satisfaction. "This will be our battleground, my dear old team. I have long waited for this moment."

Hiruzen stared at Orochimaru, his eyes filled with both sorrow and resolve. "If it must end like this, then so be it." With a swift motion, he discarded his Hokage robes, showing his combat gear underneath.

Jiraiya, standing beside his old master, shifted into a battle stance, the playful glint in his eyes gone. "You won't walk out of here alive, Orochimaru."

But Orochimaru's laughter echoed through the barrier, chilling and manic. "We'll see about that, Jiraiya."

Down below, the arena had descended into utter chaos. Gaara's sand dome writhed and twisted, and the monstrous arm of sand lashed out violently, smashing into the walls of the arena. Sasuke, panting heavily, barely managed to avoid the massive strikes, his body aching from the effort.

"Sasuke!" Naruto's voice echoed from the stands. He had managed to dispel the genjutsu but now stood frozen, watching as the situation spiraled further out of control. "What's going on?!"

Beside him, Hikari's Sharingan glowed as she observed Gaara's transformation. Her eyes narrowed as she sensed the dark, ominous chakra rising from the sand ninja. "Gaara's chakra is increasing by the second," she muttered, her voice tense. "Whatever this is, it's kind of demonic. Like that red chakra you displayed earlier Naruto."

Naruto's eyes widened in alarm. "Chakra like mine—?"

But before Naruto could finish, Gaara let out another primal scream, and the sand that had encased him erupted outward, forming a massive, grotesque form. The One-Tail, Shukaku, had begun to emerge.

Temari and Kankuro, still watching from a distance, paled as they saw their brother's transformation. "This is it," Kankuro whispered, his voice trembling. "He's fully losing it."

Temari's fists clenched, her eyes filled with fear and desperation. "We can't stop him now. Not even Father could…"

Sasuke stood his ground, but his heart pounded in his chest as Gaara's transformation continued. His Sharingan tracked every movement, but the sheer size and power of the emerging beast dwarfed anything Sasuke had faced before. This isn't good, he thought, sweat dripping down his face. I can't win this.

Gaara's voice echoed from within the monstrous sand form. "I will have blood. STARTING WITH YOU SASUKE UCHIHA!"

Sasuke grimaced, knowing he had to act fast. He formed the Chidori once more, the lightning crackling in his hand as he prepared for another strike. But just as he launched himself forward, aiming to pierce Gaara's chest again, the monstrous arm of sand swung at him with blinding speed.

Sasuke barely managed to defend himself, but the force of the blow sent him crashing into the arena wall, the wind knocked out of him. He coughed, trying to catch his breath as he struggled to stand.

Naruto watched from the stands, his fists clenching tightly. "Sasuke's in trouble!" Without thinking, he jumped over the railing and into the arena, charging toward the chaos. "I've gotta help him!"

Hikari's eyes widened as she saw Naruto leap into the fray. "Naruto, wait!" But it was too late—Naruto was already sprinting toward the battlefield, his determination unwavering.

Back inside the barrier, the battle between the three legendary shinobi began. Orochimaru's serpentine movements were fluid and precise as he engaged both Jiraiya and Hiruzen at once. His hands moved through a series of rapid seals, summoning massive snakes to strike at the two of them.

Hiruzen countered with his staff, swinging it with immense force to crush the incoming snakes, while Jiraiya unleashed a barrage of toad-based jutsu to keep Orochimaru at bay.

"You've grown weaker, Sensei," Orochimaru taunted, his voice laced with malice. "Time has taken its toll on you."

Hiruzen's eyes hardened, and he struck at Orochimaru with renewed vigor. "I may be old, but I'm still the Hokage!"

Jiraiya moved in tandem with Hiruzen, his attacks calculated and fierce. But Orochimaru was slippery, dodging and countering with ease. His laughter echoed through the barrier. "This village will burn, and you'll watch it happen, Sensei."

Hiruzen gritted his teeth. "We'll see about that."

Outside the barrier, the invasion raged on. Shinobi from the Hidden Sound and Sand clashed with Konoha's forces, the village thrown into disarray. Explosions rocked the streets, and the once peaceful village was now a battlefield.

Hikari stood frozen for a moment, her mind racing as the chaos unfolded around her. She could feel the pull of the battle, the urge to join in and protect her home. This village wasn't just a place to her anymore—it had become her home, and she wasn't going to stand by and watch it fall.

With a deep breath and her sharingan activated, she leapt into action, her body moving with precision as she joined the fight. Her kunai flashed through the air as she engaged the enemy shinobi, her movements sharp and calculated. She would use her power to fight as a weapon again, but this time to protect her new home.

Sasuke stood panting, his body aching from the repeated blows he had taken from Gaara's monstrous form. But he wasn't ready to give up. His Sharingan glowed, tracking Gaara's movements as he prepared for another attack.

But just as Sasuke was about to launch himself forward, a massive explosion rocked the arena, shaking the ground beneath his feet. The invasion was in full force now, and the chaos had reached its peak.

Naruto skidded to a stop beside Sasuke, his eyes wide with determination. "Sasuke, we need to stop Gaara together!"

Sasuke glanced at Naruto, his pride clashing with the reality of the situation. "Don't get in my way, Naruto!"

But before either of them could act, Gaara let out a final, ear-splitting roar as the full form of Shukaku began to emerge. The ground trembled as the massive beast took shape, towering over the arena. There was only silence, fear gripping the hearts of everyone present as the One-Tail, Shukaku, began to fully materialize. The air was thick with the weight of its malevolent chakra, and Gaara's once-human form had been consumed by the beast.

Sasuke, still panting from the effort of his previous attacks, gritted his teeth in frustration. His Sharingan tracked the rapid movements of the sand as it swirled around the massive beast, but the overwhelming power of Shukaku filled him with a sense of dread.

"This… this is beyond anything I imagined," Sasuke muttered, his pride wounded. For the first time, he felt the weight of being outmatched.

Beside him, Naruto's eyes widened as he stared up at the monstrous creature. "What… what the heck is that?!"

"It's looks like a sand demon," Hikari said as she landed beside them, her Sharingan spinning as she assessed the situation. " Gaara's lost control of whatever that is and now it's free."

Naruto's heart pounded in his chest, but he clenched his fists, refusing to back down. " We can't let this monster destroy the village. We got to keep him in here!"

Sasuke, still catching his breath, glanced at Naruto and then at Hikari, his usual arrogance giving way to a rare moment of recognition. He couldn't do this alone. "We'll take him down together," Sasuke said, his voice low but steady.

Hikari gave a firm nod. "We don't have much time. It looks like the monster is still gathering it's senses, that can be an advantage for us. Also before I jumped down here, I noticed that Gaara's body was still exposed."

Naruto, determination shining in his eyes, slammed his fist into his palm. "Right! Let's end this!"

Up in the Kage box, Orochimaru's laughter filled the air as he moved with deadly precision against Jiraiya and Hiruzen. The purple barrier still held strong, separating the three legendary shinobi from the rest of the battlefield.

"Sensei," Orochimaru taunted, "do you see now? This village will fall, and there's nothing you can do to stop it."

Hiruzen's eyes narrowed, his grip on his staff tightening as he prepared for his final move. "I may not be able to stop this invasion… but I will stop you."

Without warning, Hiruzen launched himself at Orochimaru, his staff swinging with deadly force. Orochimaru dodged the strike with ease, but Jiraiya was already there, blocking his escape with a powerful kick that sent Orochimaru skidding back.

"You won't win this, Orochimaru," Jiraiya growled, his hands forming seals for a summoning jutsu.

But Orochimaru simply smiled, his eyes gleaming with dark amusement. "Perhaps… but you'll all fall with me."

Suddenly, Orochimaru formed a series of hand seals, and with a dark chuckle, he unleashed a massive wave of chakra, summoning three coffins from the ground. The wood creaked as the lids opened, revealing the reanimated forms of the First and Second Hokage.

Hiruzen's eyes widened in horror. "You… you dare!"

Orochimaru's twisted grin only widened. "This is where it all ends, Sensei."

As the First and Second Hokage stepped forward, their lifeless eyes locking onto Hiruzen, the Third Hokage took a deep breath, steeling himself for the battle to come. He knew that this would be his final battle.
