In this chapter, Professor Roddenstein will make his debut in this fanfic.
I bet you're looking forward to that.
I've mentioned him before so I figured why not use him.
I'm also featuring Nana Possible. I found that I enjoyed writing for Vivian Porter so I figured I would enjoy writing for her too.
I'm not sure how many chapters she'll appear in but I just might feature her again.
And yes, I'm writing for Duff Killigan once again.
Chapter 83: Lightning Roddenstein
In order to defeat the sphinx, our heroes targeted the gem.
Judging from the fact the sphinx short-circuited every time they hit it, it was a safe bet this was its weakness.
But the sphinx wasn't going down that easy.
The sphinx swatted at them with its paws.
Still, if our heroes gave up easily, they probably wouldn't be fighting evil, now would they? Being a superhero came with challenges…unless maybe you were Wolverine.
Our heroes continued dodging their attacks while firing at the gem.
The sphinx summoned a whirlwind from its mouth which sucked in Muscle Kid and Ninja Boy.
Muscle Kid and Ninja Boy were left dizzy.
"You OK?" asked The Rainbow.
The two of them nodded. Their suits were still functional. Though that had been a powerful attack.
Luckily, the hero's persistence paid off, and the gem was destroyed.
The sphinx shut down and collapsed to the ground.
"Was the weak spot really that obvious?" asked Senior.
Junior shrugged.
Perhaps they could have designed the robot a bit better. After all, if a kid could figure it out, so could Kim Possible.
Senior applauded them. He decided he would accept defeat.
"Bravo!" exclaimed Senior.
"Are you sure we should be celebrating? That sphinx cost a lot of money!" remarked Junior. He needed money for his luxurious lifestyle. Though he could rest assured that his girlfriend wouldn't dump him even if he did lose his money. It was more than could be said for Ron Stoppable when Bonnie Rockwaller temporarily decided to be a gold digger.
"I want to show respect to our foes." explained the man. And money wasn't exactly an obstacle to him.
"We appreciate you being a good sport." said Phineas. Some of their great ideas for their summer wouldn't be as fun if they encountered sore losers or sore winners.
"Maybe instead of reading a Book of Evil you should read a Book of Good." noted Isabella. It was just a friendly suggestion.
"Do you have a book of good?" questioned Junior.
"I do if you're interested." answered the girl.
Junior decided it might be worth a read.
Muscle Kid had read that book himself. It had helped with his friendship with Ninja Boy.
"Junior, are you sure you should be reading that?" asked Senior. Something told him that book would dissuade him from being evil.
"Are you sure you should be reading a Book of Evil? You've gotten in a lot more trouble with the law since you've started reading that." noted Junior.
It wasn't like Senior couldn't pay his own bail, but still.
And yes, he did agree with Isabella. Though he wasn't sure if it he would be interested in reading a Book of Good. Being a hero did sound like a lot of work. Though if kids could do it, perhaps he could do so too.
"He actually has a good point." remarked Baljeet.
"I suppose you can then." noted Senior.
"You shouldn't steal Egyptian treasure. It's disrespectful to the Egyptians." noted Baljeet.
Suddenly, some mummies showed up and walked towards them…which proved Ninja Boy's point.
"Run!" exclaimed Senior.
Junior followed his father's advice.
"You remind me of people I know…people I don't like." noted Bonnie to the Beak.
It was probably a coincidence.
"Wait for me!" exclaimed Bonnie to Junior, who decided to run after him.
Phineas and Ferb decided to tell Kim what they did today.
Kim was rather proud of them.
"Congratulations on defeating the Senors!" exclaimed Kim. Perhaps they were the boys that could do anything. After all, it wasn't every day that two young boys built a rollercoaster.
Ron clapped for them.
With other people defending the world, their jobs as heroes got a lot easier.
The next day…
Kim Possible was at the mall…with her grandmother.
"It was nice of you to pay us a visit, granny!" exclaimed Kim.
She might be busy saving the world, but it was good to spend time with her family every now and then.
Even if her brothers could be a bit obnoxious.
"I was in the area and decided to drop by." answered Nana.
"You're making your debut, huh?" asked Ron.
"I sure am." nodded Kim's granny.
The author had featured a lot of KP characters, some obscure and some not.
It was anyone's guess as to who he would feature next.
"Hi, I'm Vivian Porter!" exclaimed Vivian, waving her hand at Nana Possible.
And yes, she too was paying a visit.
"Are you sure you're not cold in that outfit?" asked Granny.
"Very funny." answered the blonde.
"I was being serious." spoke Nana.
"Oh, really? Don't worry, I'm fine." answered Vivian. She was used to being dressed like this. Though she did wonder if people would take her more seriously if she didn't.
Now that she thought of it, Dr. Doofenshmirtz always seemed to wear a lab coat.
"I have a sweater if you want it." said the grandmother.
Vivian gave it a try. When you were a scientist, you tended to open to new ideas.
It was green in color.
"Wow! This sweater feels nice!" exclaimed Vivian.
Nana Possible had good tastes in clothing. Though she admitted that it didn't match up with what she usually wore.
"You sure seem to enjoy it more than I did." noted Kim. It had been too warm for her tastes.
"Everyone has different opinions." answered the genius.
"True." nodded the cheerleader. She and Ron both went to Bueno Nacho, but Kim decided to eat salads instead of what Bueno Nacho was best known for-its tacos.
Vivian decided to visit Wade. It was surprising how alike they were.
"Hey, Wade! I got a new sweater!" exclaimed Vivian.
"I see." said the genius with black hair.
"Sorry if you're disappointed that I'm covering my tube top." explained the blonde. She did usually wear it but it was nice to try new things.
"Well, you do look cute in that sweater." spoke Wade.
"You really know how to make a woman happy." said Vivian.
"I've learned from my mistakes." noted the boy. No longer would he play with people's emotions. Kim and Ron did have their share of differences, but they both agreed that was wrong.
And besides, the Senors had found out about the love ray and had used it for evil.
"Well, you did own up to what you did. I applaud you for it." spoke the girl. She was happy to know that Wade was being a gentleman.
Besides, she already loved him.
Vivian gave Wade a hug.
"Hmm, I feel hot in this sweater. I think I'll wear it later." spoke Vivian.
She took it off…and looked at Wade.
"You sure are happy about that, aren't you?" asked the blonde.
"A little bit." answered the boy.
Vivian giggled.
"Well, I appreciate your honesty. The sweater is comfortable but I think maybe I should wear it during the winter." noted the blonde genius. That was when she would want it the most.
"I see your point." noted Wade.
"I'm glad you decided to leave your room again." said Vivian.
She was proud of him for doing so.
"Yeah, to be honest, part of the reason I don't usually leave my room is because people call me short." noted Wade. Luckily in Everlot he could decide how tall he was. That was one of the perks that came with the game.
Although, he decided that he wouldn't make his avatar look too much different from what he did in real life.
"I feel you. People call me tall." spoke Vivian. This was part of the reason why she wore a shirt that exposed her midriff. It was a bit difficult to find a shirt that matched her size.
Though unlike Wade, she decided not to change her size.
"I turned 14 recently, so maybe I'll have a growth spurt." spoke Wade. He could certainly hope for one.
"Maybe. But I don't mind hanging out with a guy who's shorter than I am." assured Vivian. She was a nice girl that way.
"You really know how to make a man happy." said the boy.
"Oh look, an ironic echo!" exclaimed the girl.
Vivian and Wade chuckled.
"It's nice that you're getting along with Kim's granny." noted Wade. She was a nice lady. Now he knew where Kim Possible got her skills from.
"Yeah. We're both books that shouldn't be judged by their cover." spoke Vivian. Just because Wade was a little chubby did not mean he was an idiot. Not that she intended to call him chubby.
"We've met multiple people like that." spoke the teenage boy.
"We sure have." nodded the blonde genius. Of course, given the Possible's life motto, it wasn't too surprising that Nana Possible decided to be a martial artist.
Vivian decided to chat with Kim.
"You seem to be baring your midriff less often." noted Vivian.
"Oh, that. I have my reasons." spoke Kim.
"I found your weakness, Kim Possible!" exclaimed Dr. Drakken.
"What is that?" asked Kim.
Suddenly, a tickle droid showed up and started tickling Kim's midriff.
"Hahahahaha!" exclaimed the cheerleader.
Perhaps her choice of attire of missions wasn't such a great idea.
"You are no match for me, Kim Possible!" shouted Dr. Drakken.
"Would you look at that. One of your ideas is actually working." noted Shego.
For someone who didn't have faith in her employer, that was surprising.
It seems Kim Possible of all people was ticklish.
Was this her downfall? Because of her poor choice of attire?
Suddenly, Ron showed up.
He was drinking soda.
As soon as he saw the droid tickling KP, he spat it out…
…and caused the droid to short-circuit.
The droid shut down.
"Noooo! I was so close!" exclaimed Drakken.
It was back to the drawing board for Dr. D.
"That's an interesting story. I'm glad you were alright." noted Vivian.
"Makes me wonder if you should dress the way you do." spoke Kim.
"To be honest, I think that sounds kind of fun." remarked the blonde.
"I guess you have different tastes than I do." spoke the redhead.
"So…has anything changed since you and Ron saved the world from the Lorwardians?" asked Nana.
"Well, there is one thing." noted Kim.
She demonstrated her super strength.
Nana applauded.
"It seems appropriate since Ron has Mystical Monkey Power." noted Kim.
Nana nodded.
Meanwhile, Professor Roddenstein was planning to take over the Tri-State Area.
He figured if he did that, he could rub it in Dr. Doofenshmirtz's face. That he had taken it over before he could.
He had come up with a plan to do so…by making a robot duplicate of the mayor.
Aloyse could at least take over Danville this way. From there he could work his way up to the Tri-State Area.
The only question was what he was going to do with the original Roger Doofenshmirtz. In order for his plan to work, he would need to make the original disappear.
Fortunately, he had an idea.
He would send him to Mars, where he would get to meet the aliens that lived there.
It seemed as good of a plan as any.
Meanwhile, Wade decided he needed to tell Kim something.
"I take it you have a sitch?" asked Kim.
"Kim, I think Duff Killigan has made an alliance with Motor Ed!" exclaimed Wade.
"He has?" asked the girl who could do anything.
There was footage of the two together.
It would make sense. Duff Killigan had worked with his cousin before. And it wasn't exactly unheard of for a vehicle to be used in golfing.
"Mm-hmm." nodded Wade. It wasn't exactly the first time that villains had teamed up. Gill had teamed up with Camille sometime ago. And their partnership stuck. And Motor Ed had made a permanent alliance with Adrena Lynn.
"Perhaps I should ask Felix if he wants to come." noted Kim. He was a very good sidekick. Though she was used to working with Ron.
Or maybe she could ask Vivian.
She did surprisingly well against Dr. Fen. And she had freed Perry the Platypus from a trap with some clever thinking.
For that, she applauded her.
"We should try to find out what they're up to." spoke the cheerleader. The best way to stop an evil plan was to find out what it was first.
After all, part of the reason why Dr. Drakken's plan to take over the world had almost worked was because she had difficulty figuring it out. In fact, if it weren't for Ron, she probably wouldn't have figured it out at all.
"Perhaps Duff Killigan wants an awesome golf kart." noted Wade.
"Maybe he does." agreed Kim. That did sound like something that he would want.
It looked like they were going to want to trace their location.
Where was the duo hiding?
Wait, it was most likely a trio. Adrena Lynn was likely with them.
Meanwhile, Agent P received a mission from Major Monogram.
"Good morning, Agent P. The evil Roddenstein is building a robot to impersonate our mayor." explained Major Monogram.
Perry noted that didn't sound good.
Wait, didn't he usually go up against Dr. Doofenshmirtz? He had fought him over a hundred times by now. It was part of his routine. Along with acting like a normal platypus.
Well, his owners knew his secret these days. But Linda, Lawrence, and Candace did not.
"Agent K is taking the day off because he has fleas. We figured he could use a catnap. And Dr. Doofenshmirtz is taking the day off from being evil so we figured you would be a good fit for the mission." noted the major.
Perry noted that made sense.
He wondered if Aloyse von Roddenstein's evil lair had its own jingle.
It wouldn't surprise him.
But then again, Dr. Drakken's lair did not have a jingle.
"I have to admit, Professor Roddenstein has a really long name." noted Carl.
How does he ever write it down?
And why did his parents give him such a long name?
He might want to ask them.
Personally he hoped they were better than Doofenshmirtz's parents. If Doofenshmirtz's parents had been better, they wouldn't have to send a secret agent to fight him.
Were they the reason Roddenstein was evil too?
Elsewhere, Motor Ed was making the finishing touches on the golf kart that he had designed for Duff Killigan.
"What do you think, dude?" asked Motor Ed.
"Ye did a good job!" exclaimed Duff Killigan. Perhaps he would do business with him again. Though he wasn't sure what else he would ask him to design.
The golf kart was menacing in appearance. It looked somewhat like a monster truck. Which made sense considering that Motor Ed happened to love monster trucks.
Motor Ed had heard that Dr. Doofenshmirtz had designed some. It would be a good idea to check them out.
"That makes me happy! Seriously!" shouted the blonde man. He liked it when people applauded his work. Maybe if people had done that to Dr. Drakken more often, maybe he wouldn't have turned evil. Though he was happy to know that he was not the only member of his family that was evil.
Since he felt like Motor Ed had worked hard enough, Duff Killigan paid him some money.
"Wait, if ye can make money legitimately, why are ye committing crimes?" asked Duff Killigan. Of course, he could say the same for the Senors, who he heard had been thwarted recently.
"I think it's fun. And sometimes you want to make money quick, you get what I'm saying? Seriously?" explained Motor Ed.
"I see yer point." answered Duff Killigan.
"Now that you have your new golf kart, what are you planning to do with it?" asked Adrena Lynn.
"Probably go on a crime spree." noted Duff.
"That sounds like fun." noted Adrena. Before she simply wanted revenge against a redheaded cheerleader but there was a thrill in committing crime.
"Maybe we could use it as a weapon against Kim Possible!" exclaimed Motor Ed. That seemed like a great idea. Hopefully it wouldn't end with the kart's destruction given the time and effort he spent on it.
"Does it have explosive golf balls?" asked Duff Killigan.
"It sure does!" nodded the mechanic. He figured that Killigan would like it.
"Although, there seem to be more heroes than Kim Possible these days. Like that platypus with a hat." noted Adrena Lynn. They would know when he was around when he heard the theme song.
That platypus sure was freaky. He really defied expectations regarding platypuses.
Wait, why was there no plural term for platypus? It seemed people couldn't decide on an official one.
There was also the Tween Titans.
They had managed to take down the Senors, so they should not be underestimated.
One would wonder which heroes they would run into if they decided to commit acts of evil.
Although, considering there were five of the Tween Titans, maybe they were the bigger threat.
And they were pretty good at technology. If there was anyone that could shut down the golf kart, it was them.
Maybe they should focus on them first.
Meanwhile, Aloyse von Roddenstein was applying the finishing touches to his robot.
"Just a few more moments and the robot will be complete!" exclaimed Aloyse von Roddenstein.
Chloe realized what her master was building.
She began to feel excited.
And yes, she was a robot that could build emotions.
It was kind of weird.
But then again, so was a platypus secret agent.
"Are you making me a robot friend?" asked Chloe.
"You can make friends with him if you want, but I'm sending him to the mayor's office!" shouted Roddenstein.
At Doofenshmirtz Evil Incorporated, Dr. Doofenshmirtz wondered if he should be considered about something.
Should he trust his instinct?
For now he would make some cheese. Hopefully Perry wouldn't eat it all this time.
He had been so selfish.
Uh-oh! It looks like the golf kart of doom has been completed!
It looks like Kim Possible might be in trouble.
And the Tween Titans might be in trouble as well.
Of course, Candace is hoping that her brothers will get in trouble. But I don't think she wants them to get hurt.
