Sakura, Kiba, Hinata, and Shino finished their training session, breathing heavily but feeling accomplished. Kurenai approached, a proud smile on her face. "Great job, everyone! Your teamwork has improved significantly."

Kiba grinned, flexing his muscles. "I can't wait to show Naruto how strong we've gotten!"

Hinata nodded shyly, glancing at Sakura. "I hope he's doing well…"

Sakura's expression turned thoughtful. "Yeah, me too. I just wish he would come back."

Kurenai clapped her hands to get their attention. "How about we celebrate your hard work with some food? Kakashi, you should join us."

Kakashi, who had been leaning against a nearby tree with his usual nonchalance, straightened up and nodded. "Sounds good to me."

The group made their way to a nearby restaurant, laughter and chatter filling the air. As they entered, they spotted Asuma sitting at a table with his team—Shikamaru, Choji, and Ino.

Asuma waved them over. "Hey, you all! Come join us!"

The two teams gathered around the table, and after some friendly banter, orders were placed, and the food soon arrived.

Ino leaned closer to Sakura, her expression softening. "Sakura, I just wanted to say… I'm really sorry about Naruto. It must be tough knowing he's out there alone and banished. Everyone's worried about him."

Sakura nodded, her eyes reflecting her concern. "Yeah, it hurts. I just wish he knew how much he's missed. He deserved so much better."

Ino sighed, brushing her hair back. "And then there's Sasuke… I can't believe he left with Orochimaru. It just doesn't make any sense. Why would he choose to follow someone so creepy and dangerous?"

Kiba chimed in, shaking his head. "It's messed up. I thought Sasuke wanted to become stronger for the village, not to join a guy like that."

Shino adjusted his glasses, his tone calm. "Sasuke's decisions seem influenced by his desire for power. It's troubling. He may not realize the consequences of aligning with someone like Orochimaru."

Hinata looked down, her voice barely above a whisper. "I just hope they're both safe… I wish we could bring them back."

Asuma interjected, trying to keep the mood light. "Well, let's focus on what we can control. We have our own training to focus on and a village to protect."

Kurenai nodded in agreement. "Right. We can't lose sight of our responsibilities. But we should also be ready to support our friends when they return."

Ino offered a reassuring smile to Sakura. "When Naruto comes back, we'll make sure he knows how much he's valued. And if Sasuke ever decides to come back, we'll be here for him too."

Sakura managed a small smile in return, grateful for her friends' support. As the group continued to eat and share stories, the bond between them grew stronger, each member determined to support one another in the face of uncertainty.

As Gaara, Temari, and Kankuro walked along the path to the Hidden Leaf Village, Kankuro glanced over at Gaara, his brow furrowed. "Hey, Gaara, when did you start hearing rumors about Naruto's disappearance?"

Gaara kept his gaze forward, his voice steady. "I first heard about it from merchants traveling between the Leaf and the Sand. They mentioned something strange happening in the Leaf… something about them celebrating the absence of a 'demon kid.' I couldn't help but think of Naruto."

Temari frowned, crossing her arms. "It's cruel. Naruto may have a tough reputation, but he's not a demon. He's just a kid who's been through so much. I can't believe they'd celebrate his misfortune."

Kankuro shook his head in disbelief. "Right? It's just like the Leaf to turn on one of their own. That's messed up. It's hard to believe that people would be so quick to forget what he's done for them."

Gaara nodded, his expression serious. "Naruto deserves better. He's fought hard for recognition and respect, only to be cast aside when things get tough. I can relate to that."

Kankuro shot his brother an understanding look. "You know, it's good that you're looking out for him. If anyone knows what it's like to be shunned, it's you."

Temari added, "We need to find him and make sure he knows that he has friends who care about him. I don't want him to think he's all alone."

As they approached the gates of the Hidden Leaf Village, Gaara's resolve hardened. "We will find Naruto and bring him back. He should know he has a place to belong, whether in the Sand or the Leaf."

Kankuro nodded, a grin breaking through his usual demeanor. "Let's go. If anyone tries to stop us, we'll show them what the Sand is made of."

With a united front, they made their way to the village, determined to find their friend and offer him the support he so desperately needed.

In the Hidden Mist Village, Naruto was in the midst of an intense training session with Zabuza. Water projectiles shot through the air at high speed, each one narrowly missing him as he expertly dodged and weaved. Zabuza watched with a smirk, impressed by Naruto's agility but ready to raise the stakes.

"Time to switch things up!" Zabuza declared as he performed a quick series of hand signs. Suddenly, a dense mist enveloped the training ground, obscuring everything in a thick gray fog.

Naruto squinted, trying to pierce through the haze, but it was no use. "Great! Now I can't see a thing!" he muttered, frustration creeping in. He knew Zabuza thrived in these conditions, and it would only be a matter of time before the master swordsman took advantage of the cover.

Thinking quickly, Naruto decided to summon a battalion of clones. "Shadow Clone Jutsu!" he shouted, and within moments, dozens of Naruto clones appeared, each ready to take action. "Okay, guys! We need to spread out and find Zabuza! Keep your eyes open for any signs of him!"

The clones dispersed into the mist, each one moving cautiously. They called out to each other, trying to coordinate their movements and ensure they didn't get taken down one by one.

Zabuza's laughter echoed through the mist, low and menacing. "Clever boy, using clones to search for me. But it won't help you much if you can't keep your focus!" He moved stealthily, using the mist to his advantage, silently circling the clones.

Naruto, concentrating hard, listened intently for any sound that could give him a hint about Zabuza's position. He could hear the water splashing around him, but he had to think creatively. "I need to draw him out," he thought. "But how?"

Suddenly, an idea struck him. "I know!" he exclaimed. "If I can create a distraction, maybe I can force Zabuza to reveal himself."

With that in mind, Naruto focused his chakra and formed a large water ball. He infused it with wind chakra, making it swirl violently. "Water Style: Water Balloon Jutsu!" he yelled, launching the ball into the air. It exploded on impact, sending water splashing everywhere and temporarily illuminating the area.

The clones all took note of the disturbance, their eyes wide with anticipation. The mist momentarily parted around them, allowing them to spot Zabuza's silhouette darting through the fog.

"There he is!" one of the clones shouted.

"Get him!" Naruto commanded, and the clones rushed toward Zabuza's position, eager to engage.

Zabuza, caught off guard for a split second, quickly regained his composure. "Nice trick, but you'll have to do better than that!" He drew his sword, ready to defend himself against the incoming clones.

As the mist swirled around them, Naruto realized that he needed to stay sharp and focused. He couldn't let Zabuza's experience intimidate him. "I won't back down!" he thought, his resolve strengthening as he prepared for the next move.

As Zabuza charged forward, intent on delivering a decisive strike, Naruto's instincts kicked in. He could sense the change in the air and knew he had to act fast. Remembering Chojuro's instructions, he focused on channeling chakra into his throat, hoping to finally unleash the water jutsu he'd been struggling with.

"Come on, come on!" he urged himself, trying to steady his breath. As he felt the chakra swirling, he adjusted his focus, channeling it more intensely than before. Suddenly, he felt a surge of power as something within him clicked.

"Water Style: Severing Wave!" Naruto shouted, unleashing a powerful stream of water that shot toward Zabuza with incredible force. The torrent of water was different from anything he had attempted before; it was sharp, fast, and relentless.

Zabuza, caught off guard by the sudden surge of power, barely had time to react. The wave crashed into him, sending him stumbling backward as he struggled to regain his balance. The mist around them swirled violently from the impact, and the force of the water knocked him off his feet, making him hit the ground with a thud.

"Not bad, kid!" Zabuza grunted, pushing himself up with effort. He wiped some water from his face and looked at Naruto with a mix of surprise and admiration. "Looks like you've finally found a jutsu that suits you."

Breathing heavily, Naruto felt a rush of exhilaration. "I did it! I actually did it!" he exclaimed, unable to hide his excitement. The success ignited a newfound confidence within him.

But Zabuza wasn't about to let Naruto bask in his victory just yet. With a fierce grin, he got back on his feet. "That was a good start, but don't think you're out of the woods yet! Let's see how you handle this!"

With that, Zabuza prepared to counterattack. He summoned his sword and slashed it through the air, causing a wave of mist to surge forward. "Hidden Mist Jutsu!" he shouted again, thickening the fog around them once more.

Realizing he had to stay sharp, Naruto focused on keeping his senses heightened. The water jutsu had given him a glimpse of his potential, and now he needed to build on that momentum.

As the mist enveloped the training ground once more, Naruto grinned with determination. "I won't let you catch me off guard again, Zabuza!" he shouted, readying himself for the next phase of their training duel.

He summoned more clones, spreading them out and ensuring they would not be caught by Zabuza's stealthy tactics. This time, he wouldn't let his mentor take him down easily. Instead, he'd push himself even harder, eager to prove that he was more than just the "demon kid" they all feared.

The training ground was charged with energy, the clash of their wills echoing through the mist as Naruto prepared for the fight ahead.

As Gaara entered the Leaf Village, he felt a mix of anticipation and apprehension. The villagers glanced at him with a mix of wariness and curiosity, memories of the Chūnin Exams flooding back. However, he remained focused on his mission—finding Naruto.

"Hey!" Temari called out as she spotted the familiar faces of Sakura, Hinata, Shino, Kiba, Shikamaru, Choji, and Ino. Her voice was cheerful, contrasting sharply with the more serious demeanor of her brother.

"Is that really you, Gaara?" Ino asked, her eyes wide with surprise. "What brings you here?"

Kankuro chimed in with a smirk, "They're probably still scared of us from the exams. Can't blame them!"

Gaara offered a small nod, acknowledging the banter but not engaging much in it. He had a singular purpose today. "I wanted to speak with my friend, Naruto," he said, his tone earnest and direct.

Sakura's expression shifted slightly, a mixture of concern and surprise washing over her. "Naruto? He's… not here right now," she replied hesitantly. "He's been gone for a while."

"Gone?" Gaara repeated, his brow furrowing slightly. "Do you know where he is?"

Kiba, who was leaning against a nearby wall, interjected, "Yeah, he was banished. The Leaf didn't want him around anymore." His voice carried a hint of frustration, reflecting the sentiments of the group.

"So the rumors are true then" Gaara's expression hardened, a flicker of anger crossing his features. "Why did they banish him he would never harm this village!"

"Tell me about it," Shikamaru added, crossing his arms. "Naruto has always fought for this village, and yet they turned their backs on him. It doesn't make sense."

"Yeah, he didn't deserve that," Choji said, his expression solemn. "He's our friend."

"I need to find him," Gaara insisted, his voice firm. "If he's been banished, then he's in a dangerous position. He needs to know that he's not alone."

Hinata stepped forward, her gentle voice breaking the tension. "We can help you look for him," she said softly. "We're worried about him too."

Gaara straightened his posture, his demeanor shifting to that of a leader as he addressed the group. "I thank you for understanding however I'm not just here as Naruto's friend," he began, his voice steady and commanding. "I'm the Kazekage now. I need to speak with your Hokage about this situation and find a way to bring Naruto back."

The group exchanged surprised glances, a mix of admiration and respect filling the air. Sakura blinked in disbelief, taking a moment to process Gaara's statement. "Kazekage? You've really grown," she said, a smile breaking across her face. "I'm sure Naruto would've been proud of you, Gaara especially since his dream was to become hokage."

Gaara nodded, though his expression remained serious. "Thank you, but right now, we need to focus on Naruto. If he's been banished, that's a serious issue that requires the attention of our villages."

Temari stepped forward, her tone shifting to one of urgency. "Let's not waste any time. We should head to the Hokage's office now."

With a collective agreement, the group began to move toward the Hokage's office, Gaara leading the way. As they walked, he felt the weight of his new title but also the responsibility that came with it. He had faced his own struggles and understood the importance of friendship and loyalty—values that had driven him to seek out Naruto.

Shizune entered the room, her expression a mix of urgency and professionalism. "Tsunade, Gaara is here," she announced, stepping aside to allow the Kazekage and his siblings to enter.

Tsunade stood, a welcoming smile appearing on her face. "Gaara, Temari, Kankuro, it's good to see you all. I hope your travels were safe," she said, motioning for them to take a seat.

"Thank you, Hokage," Gaara replied, his tone polite yet serious. He sat down, his gaze unwavering. "I appreciate the hospitality, but I need to address a more pressing matter."

Tsunade nodded, her smile fading slightly as she sensed the gravity of his words. "Yes, let's talk about our alliance. We've made great progress since the Chunin Exams, and I believe—"

Gaara interjected, his voice firm. "Tsunade, I need to know why Naruto has been banished. He's my friend, and I don't understand how you could do this to him."

The atmosphere in the room shifted as Tsunade's expression hardened. "Gaara, it's not that simple," she began, choosing her words carefully. "Naruto's banishment was a decision made by the council due to… circumstances that they deemed necessary for the village's safety."

Kankuro crossed his arms, skepticism clear on his face. "Safety? Naruto has always fought for the Leaf. He's done more for that village than most of its residents realize."

Temari leaned forward, her voice soft but firm. "We know what it's like to be judged based on our pasts, Gaara has overcome that. Naruto deserves better than to be cast aside."

Tsunade sighed, rubbing her temples as she tried to find the right words. "You have to understand that the council was reacting out of fear. They saw Naruto as a potential threat because of the Nine-Tails within him. They didn't consider his growth, his friendships, or the sacrifices he's made."

Gaara's eyes narrowed, determination burning within them. "But banishment? That's not a solution; it's abandonment. If you value Naruto as a friend, as a part of the Leaf, you should fight for him. You know that he's stronger than they give him credit for."

Tsunade remained silent for a moment, the weight of Gaara's words sinking in. She could see the sincerity in his eyes, the loyalty he had for Naruto, and it stirred a mix of frustration and resolve within her. "I agree that Naruto deserves better, but there are political implications to consider. The council's decision was influenced by past events, and now I have to deal with the consequences of their actions."

Gaara's gaze sharpened as he leaned forward, his voice steady yet intense. "If you truly cared for Naruto, you would do whatever it takes to bring him back. The council's fears should not dictate his worth. If they can't see that, then maybe I should reconsider our alliance with the Leaf. Perhaps I would be better off taking Naruto as a shinobi of the Sand instead."

Tsunade felt a pang of unease at his words, knowing full well the gravity of what he was suggesting. She could sense his determination, and it only reaffirmed her conviction to bring Naruto back. However, she was also acutely aware of the political landscape and the precarious position they were in.

"Gaara," she replied, her tone steady but firm, "I know where Naruto is. However I cannot risk his safety by disclosing that information at this moment and I can't let the council members know. Right now I'm waiting for Jiraiya to return, and once I have his input, I can approach the council with a more solid plan."

Temari crossed her arms, her brow furrowing in concern. "So, what do you intend to do? Just let him stay wherever he is while the Leaf treats him like an outcast?"

Tsunade's expression softened slightly. "No, I want to bring him back, but I need to approach this delicately. If I push too hard, it could create more problems for Naruto and there's other issues with him that needs to be addressed however in time it will be up to him not me to say anything"

Gaara nodded, determination etched on his face. "We won't allow Naruto to be abandoned. He deserves better than this. We'll find a way."

With that, the siblings stood, preparing to leave. Tsunade felt a mixture of gratitude and anxiety as she watched them. She knew the stakes were high, and the coming days would be crucial not just for Naruto, but for the relationships between their villages.

As they walked out of the office, Tsunade called after them, "I'll keep you informed about the council meeting. We can meet afterward to strategize."

Temari turned to give a reassuring nod. "Thank you, Tsunade. We trust you'll do right by Naruto."

Once they left, Tsunade returned to her desk, the weight of the situation pressing heavily on her shoulders. She had to navigate a complex web of emotions, politics, and alliances. As she looked out of her office window, she thought of Naruto—his laughter, his determination, and the pain of his banishment. She would not let it stand.

Meanwhile, Gaara, Temari, and Kankuro made their way to a nearby hotel, their minds racing with thoughts of Naruto. As they settled into their room, Gaara crossed his arms, his expression contemplative.

"I'll find a way to get through to them. I won't let them take Naruto " he said firmly, looking at his siblings.

Temari sighed, running a hand through her hair. "You're determined, but let's hope Tsunade can keep her word. They've always been cautious about making any changes."

Gaara nodded, a fire igniting within him. "Exactly. Tomorrow, we make our stand."

As they settled in for the night, each of them silently prepared for the battle ahead, united by their bond with Naruto and their determination to see him home where he belonged.

Naruto and Zabuza were locked in an intense battle, both of their energies surging as they prepared for the final clash. Zabuza's massive sword was inches away from Naruto, slicing through the air with deadly precision, while Naruto's Rasengan pulsed in his hand, ready to counter the attack.

Just as their attacks were about to collide, a sudden chill filled the air. In an instant, both Zabuza and Naruto found themselves frozen in place, ice encasing their bodies and halting their movements. Haku appeared between them, her face calm but resolute.

"Haku!" Zabuza growled, frustrated that his attack had been stopped. "What do you think you're doing?"

Haku, unfazed by his anger, turned to Naruto. "Naruto, Mei-sama wants to speak with you. She asked me to bring you to her immediately."

Naruto, still slightly frozen, glanced at Haku, the intensity of the battle fading as he processed her words. "Mei wants to talk to me? Now?"

"Yes," Haku said, her voice soft but firm. "It's important."

Zabuza clicked his tongue in annoyance, but he didn't protest further. As the ice around them melted, freeing their bodies, Zabuza lowered his sword, glaring at Naruto one last time. "This isn't over, brat. We'll finish this later."

Naruto, still catching his breath, nodded. "Yeah, I'll be ready."

With that, Naruto turned to Haku, who had already started leading him back toward the village, leaving Zabuza behind, still grumbling under his breath.

As Naruto and Haku walked side by side back toward the village, Haku glanced over at him with a soft smile. "So, how's the training going with Zabuza?" she asked, her tone light and curious.

Naruto, still a bit winded from their battle, scratched the back of his head. "It's tough… really tough. Zabuza doesn't hold back, that's for sure. But I'm getting stronger." He smiled, despite the exhaustion. "Still, I could use a little more control with the water jutsu."

Haku nodded, understanding how intense Zabuza could be. "That sounds like him. He believes in pushing you until you're at your limit, then going even further."

Naruto let out a small laugh. "Yeah, I've noticed that."

They walked in comfortable silence for a moment before Haku spoke again. "Since you're going to be tired after all that training, I'll make dinner for you later. Something to help you recover."

Naruto blinked in surprise, then grinned widely. "Really? You don't have to, Haku, but… I'd appreciate it. Thank you."

Haku's smile grew a little warmer as she glanced down at the path ahead. "You've been working hard. It's the least I can do." She paused for a moment before looking up at him. "Just make sure to eat well and rest tonight. Zabuza's not going to go easy on you tomorrow."

Naruto chuckled, feeling a little more relaxed with Haku's kindness. "Yeah, I'll be ready. And thanks again, Haku, really."

Naruto walked into Mei's office, feeling a little apprehensive after the intense training session with Zabuza. He scratched his head and gave her a casual greeting. "Hey, Mei. What's up?"

Mei, sitting behind her desk with a calm expression, looked up at Naruto. "Naruto, I wanted to talk to you about something important. Let's take a walk by the river." Her voice was soft, but there was a seriousness behind it that made Naruto's stomach tighten.

Haku, who had walked in with Naruto, glanced between the two and smiled warmly. "I'll be waiting for you at home, Naruto," she said before leaving the office.

Naruto nodded at Haku, then turned his attention back to Mei as she stood up and motioned for him to follow. They walked side by side in silence for a while, the sounds of the flowing river filling the air. Naruto couldn't help but feel a bit on edge. Mei wasn't usually this serious when they talked, and the weight of whatever she wanted to discuss was already settling over him.

As they stopped near the riverbank, Mei finally broke the silence. "Naruto, I had a visitor earlier. Jiraiya, your former sensei, came to the village."

Naruto's eyes widened in surprise. "Ero-sennin was here?" he asked, a mix of confusion and curiosity in his voice.

Mei nodded. "He came to speak with me about you… and the situation with Konoha."

Naruto's expression darkened at the mention of the Leaf Village. "What about it? They're the ones who banished me."

Mei sighed and looked at the water. "He told me that something urgent is happening in the Leaf, and it might require your presence. I told him that we might have to go to the Leaf Village soon… and that you would have to come as well."

Naruto's heart skipped a beat. "What? Why do I have to go back there?" His voice was filled with shock and frustration. "I don't belong there anymore. They didn't want me."

Mei looked at Naruto, her eyes steady and calm. "I know how you feel, Naruto. But this is a complicated situation. Jiraiya mentioned that there are people who are still concerned about you… and there's a possibility that your life might be in danger if certain elements in the Leaf decide to act. We need to make sure we're prepared."

Naruto clenched his fists, staring at the river. "I… I don't want to go back. I'm happy here in the Mist. With you, Haku, Zabuza… this is my home now."

Mei placed a hand on his shoulder. "I understand that, and I'm not forcing you to go. But if we go, it's because we need to protect you. The Mist Village is your home, and we'll do everything to ensure you're safe. But sometimes, you have to confront your past to truly move forward."

Naruto was silent for a long time, the weight of Mei's words settling in. Finally, he sighed, his shoulders slumping slightly. "I get it… but it still doesn't make it easier."

Mei smiled gently. "I didn't expect it would. But we'll face this together, Naruto."

Naruto nodded, feeling a bit more grounded but still unsure of what would come next. The idea of going back to the Leaf Village, even for a short time, felt like reopening an old wound. But with Mei, Haku, and Zabuza by his side, maybe it wouldn't be so bad.
