Every good story starts with a beginning.

And that is true for thousands and thousands of kids starting high school for the first time under the clear blue skies of Brisbane, Australia.

One of those kids, a 12-year-old Red Heeler, called.

Bingo Heeler

Who is looking out of the window of the car while its on the way to her new school through the suburbs

"Excited to start school, Bingo?" Her father Bandit speaks, looking at her through the rearview mirror while driving Bobo, the family car; however, Bingo stays the same, looking out of the window with a long face

"Bingo," Her Mother, Chili, gets in the conversation, turning her head and body to look at her daughter. "It's normal to feel what you are feeling. Bluey has already been through this, and she is doing fine."

"Yeah," her older sister of 15 years, Bluey, speaks at the other side of the car. "I remember I was nervous at first, but it's going to go away over time."

Still nothing from Bingo

"Ugh Bingo." Bluey gets closer to Bingo and puts a hand over her shoulder. "Everything is going to be ok, I promise."

Finally, an answer from Bingo…she just slowly shakes her head and says in an undertone, "Can I stay at home today, im not feeling good."

Bandit and Chili sigh simultaneously, but Chili is the first one to speak. "I'm sorry, Bingo, but you gotta go to school today. We can't have you grow up with no education at all."

"I just want one more day, I'm not ready yet," Bingo whisper as she barely let those words out.

"Unfortunately, we can't turn back now," Bandit says, looking forward to the road. "We are too far from the house, and Bluey and Chilli will be late if we drop you off at home."

"Please…" Bingo slowly looks forward with a pleading, sad face in a desperate attempt to convince their parents

Unfortunately for Bingo, it failed. "Sorry, kiddo, you gotta do this," Her father says

"You remember what we say when we feel down?" Chili says while Bingo slowly starts to look away from her with a lost look on her face

Nothing

"I think it's time to go through the checklist again." reminds Chilli, before turning back to look forward to the road to leave Bingo alone and her thoughts, something Bluey also takes notes and returns to her seat on the other side of the car

Still, with a lost look aiming at a spot in the door, Bingo contemplated what her future would be like in the next couple of years, like a paratrooper before being dropped in not-so-friendly territory. The idea of going to a regular school from a fun and special school like Glasshouse made her uncomfortable, to say the least.

Today will be her first time in a middle school, and the fact that all her friends and even her own sister commented about how horrible these schools can be didn't help Bingo at all. From merciless bullies, complex classes, and tricky teachers. The red Heeler was not ready to confront all of it, but in her bad luck, she had to face it anyways

And she will face it soon enough as her father finally arrives at the local middle school.

Bandit stops the car near the entrance with scatter students hanging around and says, "Alright girls, have fun in there."

"Remember, be judgy and smart." Chili looks back to remind her daughters as they pick up their backpacks from the bottom of the seat and move out of the vehicle. Bluey gaily obliges, but Bingo reluctantly picks up her orange Backpack.

With both Heelers out, Bandit lowers the window. "See ya later, girls" he screams out as Chili just decides to wave her hand.

"See ya later." Bluey waves back as the red s.u.v drives off to leave her mother in her workplace

"Bingo…" Bluey turns to her sister who still has a neutral face."...You got this."

Bingo just nods and turns to walk to the school's entrance alongside her sister, while a single thought keep bouncing in her head.

"The show must go on"
