Dante Lawton (Reaper)
The reunion was touching and full of tears and I was beginning to notice that crying women had become something of a theme in my life.
Laurel had been waiting in the kitchen when we arrived, pacing back and forth and looking all worried and scared.
I could tell what she was thinking the moment I entered, she thought I left, disappeared in the night and abandoned her and our unborn child without a word, and I couldn't help but feel that was at least slightly racist, but regardless I had to spend a few minutes reassuring her that I wasn't going anywhere before she finally payed attention to the person I had brought along.
That was when the tears started, there was a lot of hugging and a lot of sobbing but eventually they calmed and began speaking about their lives over the past five years, each had their own stories though Sarah's tended to be more bloody than Laurel's.
It was almost funny how quickly I had been forgotten as they discussed their pasts, and they talked for hours, laughter and smiles filled their conversation and it made for a rather wholesome scene.
Eventually their conversation shifted to how I met Sarah and she recounted the story of my glorious rock paper scissors victory and the traitorous first mate.
"He wasn't the one biggest there, he was smaller back then, not like the hunk he is now. He wasn't the biggest nor was he the tallest but bygodshe was skilled, it washot. He killed three grown men all because he wanted to claim me, it was the first time I'd ever seen a fighter, arealfighter." There was a red Hugh to her cheeks as she recalled the memory and I couldn't help but cringe slightly as she continued.
"After he became first mate he carried me like a sack of potatoes into his new cabin." Sarah's thought unconsciously squeezed together, "He ripped off my clothes," She let out a little chuckle now, "I still remember his exact words before he took me right then and there, 'It's a pirate life for me'." She laughed softly at the memory as I cringed, her version made me sound far worse than the version I had told Thea. It was also somewhat more truthful, what could I say? I was a pirate, was I supposed tonotact like a pirate?
I cringed a little more, that probably wasn't one of my smartest actions, if Sarah had told him, the captain would have had me executed for that.
I think I had forgotten to mention to Sarah that I was currently dating Laurel and that it probably wasn't the best idea to detail our entire relationship.
Sarah then proceeded to detail the entire relationship, speaking of the year we had spent together at sea before moving onto our time on the island with Oliver. She brushed over the trouble we faced surrounding Slade Wilson, only mentioning how we were on a sinking ship with Oliver when she was sucked through the hull.
"You really jumped after her?" Laurel asked with eyebrows raised in surprise.
I shrugged nonchalantly, thatwas probably the dumbest thing I had ever done in my entire life, and that included the time I left cum on batgirl's mask just because I found the image funny. "What can I say? I'm a heroic man."
Both girls let out hearty laughter, apparently appreciating my sarcasm, and leaving me slightly offended.
After that Sarah spoke of our time on the island, by some miracle we had both washed up one of the few beaches there, mostly uninjured, she made the months we spent stranded there alone sound far more romantic than I ever recall it being.
In my memory it was more of a struggle for survival, non stop working to find food to combat starvation even as we slowly hunted every animal out of the ecosystem until we were forced to eat literal bugs.
Sarah on the other had seemed to remember it was a romantic getaway we spent struggling to survive, with only each other to rely on.
Then came that fateful day a daughter of Ras Al Goul visited the island, stumbling upon us and finally taking us from that purgatory, I noticed she left Shadow out of the story entirely.
I supposed it would be difficult to explain more of the supernatural side of the league, it had been me who dug up her rotting corpse and brought it to the league of assassins.
According to Ras Al Goul the lazarus pit was one of the few gateways to the underworld that existed, and it has the power to both resurrect the dead and bestow immortality as long as one bathed in its waters regularly, Ras was over 200 years old thanks to its power.
His condition to allow me to use the pit on Shadow was simple, he wanted me to join the league, apparently he reconsidered my talent and wished to take advantage, at the time I happened to be softhearted enough to agree
It was with the league of assassins that I lived and trained with as a member for several years, and for a while I quite enjoyed my time there, I was too young for missions but I was trained just like any other. The training of the league was much of what made me the man I was today.
Unfortunately, I got bored.
Leaving the League of assassin wasn't exactly an option however, it was a lifelong commitment and with the pit not even death could absolve one of that oath, I was completely stuck.
Then I received the news, Batman had captured my father, I knew I was needed back in Gotham, I had a sister to take care of after all.
It was that news that triggered the activation of my Meta Gene, using the power of Precision I battled Ras Al Goul for my freedom, I smirked at the memory, it was the most intense and meaningful fight of my life, I fought for my freedom and my future and out my life in the line for it.
Obviously, I won.
It hadn't been easy, but eventually I stood victorious and Ras Al Ghoul lay dead at my feet, my blade through his neck.
As it turned out however, if a member killed Ras Al Ghoul then they, by default, were the new leader.
It was an interesting life I had turned down when I dumped Ras' body into the pit, I was supposed to marry with his daughters as the new leader, and while Nyssa and Talia certainly were beautiful young woman they weren't enough to make me spend the rest of my life sat in some magic bathtub.
Ras came back to life (the pit was convenient like that), and I was free. It was then that me and Sarah parted ways.
After Sarah's story it was Laurel's turn, and Sarah practically lit up as she listened to the romantic date I had taken Laurel on for our first date.
"He never took me on any dates!" Sarah glared at me accusatory from where she at on the couch.
We had moved to Laurel's living room and I sat in a comfortable armchair, mostly staying quiet as the two sisters who were sharing the couch caught up, only adding the occasional comment or two.
I shrugged, "You're easier than Laurel."
She threw a couch pillow at me as Laurel giggled.
Laurel continued recounting our relationship before she suddenly went quiet, as though she had just remembered something, her hand unconsciously drifted to her stomach as she muttered, "Sarah, can- can I talk to you quickly?"
"We're talking now?" Sarah was definitely a natural blond, with genius like that.
"Inprivate?"Laurel emphasised.
"Ohhhhhh, ok." Sarah's blond hair bounced cheerfully as she followed Laurel towards the bedroom, and I shook my head, rising and moving towards the kitchen.
Feeling quite hungry I poured through the ingredients Laurel kept before googling a recipe and beginning to cook.
I glanced towards the bedroom, the door was just slightly ajar but it was too far for any normal person to hear, thankfully I was no normal person and could hear them without issue.
"What do you mean hedoesn't know? You have told him!?" Sarah's voice was half whispers half shout and she sounded quite astonished.
"I- I didn't know how to tell him…" Laurel muttered out weekly.
"Mmm, did you try, 'hi Dante, remember that time you railed me so hard I couldn't walk? Yes, it turned out you got me pregnant!" I chuckled, able to imagine the look Sarah was giving her sister even if I couldn't see it.
"It's not that easy, and I don't know how he'll react…" I sighed, I probably should have just brought it up myself, but I hadn't wanted to waste all the effort she had put into hiding it.
"Are you going to keep it?" Sarah's voice cut in, it sounded cold, the kind of voice she had only found after the leagues training.
I heard Laurel take a deep steadying breath, "Yes." She said firmly, "I don't know how he'll react and honestly I don't know how I could do it without him, but I will if I have too."
Sarah's voice became much lighter as she said, "Good, does dad know?"
There was a pregnant pause before Laurel said, "Oh god, no. Could you imagine what he'd say? 'Hi dad, remember that criminal from when Thea queen was arrested? He knocked me up. Surprise!'" I could almost feel the cringe Laurel was experiencing at the thought.
"Hehe, dads reaction to you getting knocked up by some random black guy would certainly beinterestingto say the least. Mom would be proud."
I tuned out their conversation after that, instead focusing on the meal I was preparing. Unless one counted the pieces of random meat we used to turn over campfires back on the island I had never actually cooked before, it was something I preferred woman to do for me in general, luckily, it wasn't particularly difficult thanks to my power and the step by step guide I was following.
I chuckled slightly, if it weren't for the fact all my friends were dead they would probably say I'd been colonised, standing in the kitchen cooking whilst my girlfriend was in the bedroom. I didn't mind it much, Laurel had cooked for me dozens of times over the last few weeks.
As I rolled up the last of the nine wraps I had prepared I heard Sarah's voice, "He definitely knows, by the way."
"I've been hiding it really well." Laurel replied and Sarah laughed.
"Contrary to his appearance, he isn't an idiot. He knows." The fuck did she mean 'contrary to my appearance'? I didnotlook like an idiot!
I heard laurel's giggles as she said, "He really does look like he's got more muscles than brains."
Ok, that was just rude, Laurel had more ass than brains but she didn't hear my bullying her for it.
"And more cock than brains." Sarah added under her breath.
Well she didn't even have any brains, the blonde bimbo.
I was pulled from my petulant thoughts by the sound of the bedroom door opening, and out came Sarah followed by Laurel.
They walked down the corridor to find me standing behind the same kitchen counter I had bred Laurel on mere months ago, the wraps I prepared looking pristine and delicious, already on a plate for them.
Laurel's look of sheer shock and surprise was the final insult I was going to tolerate tonight, she was gettingpunishedlater.
I think she could tell what I was thinking because her face suddenly changed from shock to a happy smile as she walked round the table, going into her tiptoes to give me a quick kiss, throwing her arms around my neck as she said, "Thank you sooo much."
She gave me another kiss and Sarah, apparently lacking the same tact said, "I didn't know you could cook."
I didn't deign her with a glance as I said, "Don't assume there are things I can't do, you'll be wrong."
As we sat down to eat I asked Sarah, "How's Shadow?"
She shrugged, "She's doing fine, better than fine, even. You know how the league works, the strongest will always rise, I even heard rumours Ras was thinking of making her his third daughter."
I smiled, I doubted Shadow particularly liked being part of the league of assassins, despite her skill she was never too fond of violence and killing.
"Is she still mine or has she moved on?" I asked after a moment, despite us being apart I had never actually broken up with Sarah, and it was much the same for Shadow, she had been eager to show her gratitude after I basically gave my life to the league to resurrect her.
"She's still yours, as am I." Sarah confirmed before directing her gaze to her plate, deliberately ignoring the look Laurel was giving her.
I smiled softly, it had been years since we spoke but Sarah was still committed to our relationship, it wasn't a coincidence she had turned her interest exclusively to women after I left.
I could tolerate Nyssa but I would never tolerate another man, Nyssa was my girlfriend before she ever belonged to Sarah anyway so I didn't mind it much.
"And your mission?" Members of the league weren't free to visit friends and family when they pleased, they sacrificed such relationships when they became members, their only purpose being the league and its aims.
After one joined the league of assassins, one's life no longer belonged to them, they belonged to the league.
Sarah looked mightily guilty as she looked away, "I- I don't have one."
I let out a long sigh, I would've liked to say she had more tits than brain if it weren't for the fact she was firmly placed in the B-cup region, perhaps i should knock her up too.
I smiled slightly as the image of the normally bratty Sarah swelling with my child as I rubbed my face.
"So you abandoned the league?" There was a level of disappointment in my voice that I didn't know I could possibly reach as I stared down at her, she had the good grace to look away as she nodded.
"And did you ever think to just call me? I would fight for your life, you know." Sarah shook her head,
"You almost died against Ras last time, I wasn't going to let you take that risk again. Not for me." It was a little touching that she was so concerned for my life.
"What did I say about assuming there are things I can't do? Ras is an old man, I wouldn't lose to him." Ras Al Goul was practically an ancient relic by now, it was no wonder he tried to pawn his job onto me so he could finally die.
I took pleasure from giving him a painful death before denying him it's sweet relief once before, I could do it again.
"Healmostdid, last time." Sarah argued, looking genuinely concerned.
"Last time I fought Ras Al Goul I was barely fifteen, he was bigger than me, heavier than me, had about three inches of height on me and I still sent him to the depths of hell before dragging him back. Now, I'm older, I'm bigger and stronger than he was, not to mention how much more skilled I am now." When I killed Ras Al Goul he had every advantage he was older, more experienced and much stronger than I was, it was with pure skill or more like skill born from the power of Precision that led my sword into his neck.
Sarah seemed to be considering this while Laurel just looked confused, I knew she had some idea of the more brutal things we had been through but had been avoiding the topic.
"When did you leave?" I asked her simply.
"Yesterday morning." She answered.
"So we've got what? 36 hours before the assassins arrive? It's probably closer to 24." Sarah had the good grace to look ashamed, one did not simply leave the league of assassins, they would show up to kill everyone she loved soon enough, including the very pregnant Laurel.
I could tell by the look on her face that she was starting to realise the consequences of her actions, she was not only going to get her sister and her unborn niece killed, but also both her parents too.
They'd probably go after everyone even slightly connected to her which put Oliver and his family in danger, and if it weren't for the fact that killing Ras put the fear of god into those assassin's hearts they would probably be targeting my little sister too.
"I'm sorry." Sarah said solemnly, head down with her bouncy blond hair covering her face.
"Are there any other important revelations you forgot to mention?" I asked, I honestly wouldn't be surprised if Slade had come back to life and was on his way to kill us all.
"Well… there is something." Sarah muttered, side eyeing Laurel.
That wasn't what I meant but I suppose now was as good a time as any, I turned my expectant gaze on Laurel, waiting.
She cleared her throat, "Dante, I uh… you know how we've been having sex?" She began in the most awkward manner possible.
"I do seem to vaguely recall that happening… every night for the past 3 months." I said with a smirk.
"Well uh, remember when you asked if I was on birth control?"
"Mhm." I nodded slowly, acting as though I was curious to see where this was going.
Laurel blushed, looking increasingly awkward. "Well, I… you know…"
"Aw, for fucks sake," Sarah said, apparently not able to hold it back any longer. "She's pregnant, P-R-E-G-N-A-N-T." She spelled out helpfully, "You bred my sister, fucked a baby into her, pumped her full of seed and planted them into the soul of her freshly plowed cunt."
I gave Laurel a soft, understanding smile as we ignored Sarah's outburst, and I heard her mutter under her breath something that sounded suspiciously like "Weak ass pull out game. Where was that when we were on the boat? Why doessheget one? I want one!"
"Hey! My pull out game is perfectly fine thank you very much, I wanted to get your sister pregnant." There was a ring at the doorbell and I frowned, turning away from the bright smile Laurel was wearing at my words towards the front door I muttered.
"Guess the assassins got here early." I dipped my hands beneath the counter and out of view as I took a pair of pistols from my inventory, I slid one across the table to Sarah as I said to Laurel, "I'll get it, stay with your sister, she'll keep you safe."
Laurel seemed to understand how serious the situation was as she took the offered gun and cocked it, her eyes stalking towards the door, she reminded me of a lioness, preparing to fight.
Moving to the door, I sighed, here I go killing again.
I pulled the door open violently, raising my weapon and preparing to put down whichever deadman the league of assassins had decided to sacrifice at the end of my barrel, which was why I was completely off put by the sight of Thea Queen, Oliver's younger sister, who stood outside the apartment.
Her head was down and she looked startled by how fast I opened the door and I just had enough time to hide the pistol behind my back before she looked up.
Her eyes were puffy and red, and she looked like she was about to cry.
"Dante?"
The theme of crying woman in my life was promptly continued as she burst into tears at the sight of me, rushing forward and burying her face into my chest as she wrapped her arms around me.
"Hey, hey, what's wrong? It's ok, I've got you." I kept my voice warm, calm, and full of concern as I wrapped my arms around her, one hand patting her head gently whilst the other just held her close, I was getting annoyingly good was comforting crying woman by now.
"Thea?" I heard Laurel call from where she peeked over the kitchen counter she had been taking cover behind, I pulled the still sobbing Thea into the apartment, still patting her gently.
"What's wrong? Is everything ok?" Laurel asked as she approached and I saw Sarah lagging slightly further back.
"I- I'm pregnant." Thea stuttered out between sobs, directing her gaze towards me to make it clear who she thought the father was.
I heard Sarah cackling, "So, how's that 'perfectly fine' pullout game going?!"
Ok, I'd decided. Sarah was getting bred next.
Thea Queen
"Are you sure it's mine?" Dante asked softly as she sat in the living room of Laurel's apartment, too shell shocked to even register the very much alive Sarah who was currently sat opposite her.
From the corner of her eye she could see the glare Laurel was giving her boyfriend after he asked and she made a choked noise, something between a sob and a laugh as she said, "Of course, y-your the only man I've ever been with."
And what a man he was, she still dreamt of that night, between the drugs and Dante's massive cock the night she lost her virginity was by for the most pleasurable night of her entire life.
She blushed at the embarrassing memory, her mother had been quite vocal about how ashamed she ought to be of herself, taking drugs and letting random black men fuck her over the hood of her car.
But he wasn't a random black man, at least not anymore. The star of starling city they called him, he was famous now, a renowned up and coming basketball player, someone who was expected to become one of the all time greats in the years to come.
She had been following his short career closely, and the fact he was Laurel's boyfriend only made it worse, she had been working in the DA's office alongside Laurel for months, how was she supposed to tell her boss that she had a crush on her boyfriend?
She had dreaded telling them she was pregnant, she must have taken a dozen different pregnancy tests before she was forced to accept the fact. It had been stifling and she didn't know what to do, she couldn't just kill her baby, but how was she supposed to explain that she was pregnant to her mother who was in prison?
Was she supposed to just tell her brother about how his friend had knocked her up? And potentially ruin the relationship between them?
Was she supposed to just tell Laurel that her boyfriend had gotten her pregnant? And almost definitely ruin the relationship between them?
How was she going to explain to her friends that she was going to be a teen mother?
It felt as though she had no one to turn too and nowhere to go, even Walter, the man who had essentially become a father too her since dad died, had left, divorcing her mother as soon as he'd been recovered after his kidnapping.
Everything she did just ruined other people's lives, and the worst part was that her child was going to have to live with her mistakes.
She'd tried to hold it in, to bottle it up and push forward but she'd failed even that. She's broken down, descending into sobbing and crying as she called a taxi and gone straight to Laurel's apartment, she knew Dante had been living there these last few months, she just wanted to see him.
It was honestly a surprise that they were even awake, it wasn't even 7am yet but they were all up and dressed.
"Oh, well that's fine then," Dante said, giving her a bright smile that she couldn't help but fall in love with, "There's no need to cry, Thea. Besides, Laurel's pregnant too, so we'll just have to buy twice as many diapers now. Don't worry, I have money, I can take care of you."
Turning to Laurel with wide eyes she said, "You're pregnant too?!"
Laurel gave a small not, her hand drifting to her stomach, Laurel's smile was small and soft and she nearly burst into tears at the sight of it.
It was comforting to know she wouldn't be experiencing motherhood alone, and the idea Laurel might reject her or even by angry at her had been eating her up inside these past months.
How many people would tolerate their boyfriends getting another girl pregnant, even if they weren't dating at the time?
"In fact," A slow grin surfaced on Dante's face as he turned to the very much alive looking Sarah. "They say three's the lucky number. What say you, Sarah? Fancy making a third baby tonight?"
"I think Laurel might have something to say about me stealing her boyfriend, again."Sarah muttered, glancing in Laurel's direction.
Dante smirked, putting her arm around Laurel's shoulders and pulling her close. Laurel melted into the embrace, taking comfort in his arms and resting her head against his chest, "It's nice that you're confident but there isn't anything you could do to make me part with your sister."
His tone was teasing as he continued, "Unlike you, she can actually cook me breakfast in the mornings."
Laurel was practically preening at his words, she pressed a soft kiss to his jaw as he continued.
"There is a reason she gets taken on dates every week." He stroked Laurel's hair lovingly.
She wasn't jealous. She absolutely wasn't jealous as she watched the couple practically cuddling on the couch right in front of her.
Sarah pouted, looking away with a blushing face as she said, "I wouldn't mind… but you have to take me on a date first!"l
His eyes definitely promisedsomethingalthough she wasn't sure what as he said, "Deal. I'll take you on the most romantic date ever and then we'll get to the baby making."
Laurel gave a light punch to his chest as she said, "Can you not impregnate my sister?"
He smirked, "Too late now, I've already agreed. I'm a man of my word after all."
Laurel huffed, apparently unwilling to argue as she said, "Fine, but you better not neglect me now that I'm letting you have all these other girls," Turning to Sarah with a fierce gaze she said, "And I was his girlfriendfirstdon't you forget it."
Sarah raised her hands in mock surrender, a smile on her face, "Understood boss."
There was silence for a few moments before she said, "So, Sarah, when did you get back?"
She remembered Dante mentioning Sarah's survival of the shipwreck back when she was asking about his connection with Oliver, but she hadn't actually expected Sarah to show up in starling city again.
The conversation continued from there, she caught up with Sarah and they spoke happily for a few hours, Dante even gave her a couple of the wraps he had prepared for himself and she enjoyed their company, letting her worries for the future fate for at least a few hours until Dante suddenly pulled out an old brick phone from his pocket.
His face was solem as he looked towards Sarah, "Deathstroke's in town."
She say Sarah's eyes widened as she said, "Didn't he die on the boat?"
Dante shrugged, "We thought Oliver died on the boat too, and he thought we died there. Slade's been active for the last few years but now that the world knows Oliver's alive he wants revenge."
"Can't we just tell him Shadow's alive?" Sarah asked, and Thea had to admit she had no idea what they were talking about.
Dante shook his head, "He wouldn't believe it, he's the one who buried Shadow, and the marikuru's made him even more crazy than he already was. Besides, she isn't really alive, her life belongs to the League now."
"So what's he going to do?" Sarah asked, looking like she already knew the answer.
Again, Dante shrugged. "After he took the mirakuru Shadow changed from a romantic interest into an obsession, she became the only thing he ever did or could care about. Then when Oliver chose you over Shadow it was like he lost his entire life in a single gunshot. He wants revenge, plain and simple."
Dante hesitated for a moment before he sighed, "So Slade is going to dismantle Oliver's entire life," Dante nodded towards her as he said, "He'll kill her," he then nodded in Laurel's direction, "Her too, because she's a friend of Oliver's. Then he'll go after Oliver's mother. After he's done with her he'll kill you, because you were the other choice, and then he'll probably kill me too, not because I actually had anything to do with Shadow's death but because I was sleeping with her at the time."
She didn't know who or what he was talking about, but she certainly didn't like the sound of it.
She watched as Dante reached into his pocket, drawing out a pistol, and then a second pistol from the same pocket as though it was logically possible to fit two pistols of that size in a single pocket before he rose to his feet.
"Where are you going?" Sarah asked.
Dante smirked, "Can't have Slade killing the mothers of my children, nor the grandmother for that matter. Guess I'll just have to kill him first."
Sarah rose to her feet quickly, "I'm coming with you." She said firmly.
"Nope." Dante answered, popping the P. "You're also a mother of my child, at least you will be, you aren't going anywhere near danger."
Sarah looked like she wanted to argue which was why it was so surprising when she just nodded, lowering her head submissively as Dante patted her shoulder.
He placed his finger's beneath her chin, raising her head and giving her a soft smile. "Let me take care of it, ok?"
He reached into the same pocket, drawing out a third pistol, a pair of metal combat sticks, and a dozen or so grenade like devices, handing them to Sarah he said, "I'll take care of this, and you take care of them. And I'll deal with the league while I'm out too, don't worry about it."
He leaned in and gave Sarah a soft kiss, pressing his lips gently to hers.
Turning to Laurel she watched for her reaction to her boyfriend kissing her sister, but she didn't seem particularly bothered, a small smile on her face as she saw their heartfelt moment.
He pulled back, "What you need to worry about is what you're going to wear on our date."
Sarah's smirk was mischievous, "I thought you preferred it when I didn't wear clothes."
He winked, moving towards the door and giving Sarah a crisp spank as he passed, causing her to moan slightly.
Dante Lawton
I strolled into Oliver's nightclub with quiet steps, they were closed at this time in the morning but I already had a decent guess to confirm where exactly Oliver's secret hideout was.
The old Queen's Consolidated building was in the industrial part of the city, and Oliver had it renovated into the nightclub it was today just recently, I picked the lock and strolled into the empty building casually, my footsteps loud and unhurried, I came upon a hidden trapdoor in a back room and pulled it open to reveal a ladder leading to a room illuminated by soft green light.
"Ha!" I called loudly as I descended the ladder, "I didn't expect this nightclub to have a secret sex dungeon!"
I heard a feminine gasp along side some quick shuffling, girl's voice muttered quietly, "Eh, guys, a guy just entered the cave from the nightclub."
The voice over the radio that sounded in reply was even quieter, but I could still hear the alarmed tone in it's voice, "Is it Slade!?"
"I think it's a civilian. But we might be about to be found out…" The girl's muttered just as I rounded a corner to find her seated before several monitors in an office chair.
"Are you the mistress of this sex dungeon?" She certainly looked the part for it, dressed as a sexy secretary. She looked quite beautiful, she had platinum blond hair and charming blue eyes, her glasses making her look both cute and smart at the same time.
Her eyes widened as she took in my appearance, I was wearing my white hood costume, which was completely identical to the starling city vigilante's costume except it was stark and pure white instead of green."
"Who are you? And it isnota sex dungeon." She asked, and she certainly had the assertiveness of a mistress in a sex dungeon, looking simultaneously scared of my appearance and offended at the insinuation.
"Me? I'm the White Hood, the white supremacist version of the regular hood." I could tell that she wasn't entirely certain if I was joking or not.
"What? But, ar- aren't you…" her voice trailed off her eyes trailing towards my bare hand, my obviously black, bare hand.
"This?" I raised my hand, showing it to her, "Disgusting isn't it? This all ties into my origin story, you see many years ago-"
"It's not disgusting, it looks fine, better than fine, you shouldn't call yourself disgusting." Did shehaveto interrupt my origin story with her compassion?
"Thank you, but I was trying to tell my origin story." I said gently and she nodded, I heard the voice from the radio saying faintly, "Keep him distracted, we're on our way back."
"Sorry, go ahead." She gave me a nervous half smile.
"As I was saying, Many years ago I got lost in the hood, now I won't go into the exact details but let's just say I had some unpleasant encounters that first left me without my wallet, then without my watch, next went my shoes followed by the clothes on my back before I was knocked out by someone I don't want to call a monkey- lets just say he looked more like a monkey that I did. Thatchangedonce I awoke, from that moment on I swore vengeance!" Finishing my passionate monologue I glanced down to see her disbelieving expression.
"You don't believe me, do you?" I asked, sounding quite put out.
"No no, I believe you, I totally believe you." This girl might have been the worst liar I had ever met.
"Well what about you then? Who are you and why are you in this sex dungeon?" I redirected the question back at her.
"It's not a sex dungeon. And my name's Felicity." The girl answered, and I heard more words come from the radio, "Goddammit, you'd you tell him your name?"
"You said distract him!"Felicity replied, half turning to whisper furiously at the radio before turning back to me."
"Well Felicity, that sounds exactly what someone secretly running a sex dungeon wouldwantme to think." I countered, looking around with suspicion.
"That's also exactly that someone whowasn'trunning a secret sex dungeon would want you to think." She replied, making quite a lot of sense, and forcing me to stop and reconsider the likelihood of this really being a sex dungeon.
"Besides, this place doesn't have the equipment of a sex dungeon, no cuffs, no chains, no whips, no dildos, there aren't even any harnesses or sex swings around here." She pointed out, possessing a startling amount of knowledge for such an innocent looking girl.
"Ah, so you at least know how youcouldturn this place into a sex dungeon? That isn't a point in your favor, what if you're planning to make it into a sex dungeon later?" I was quite enjoying this conversation as I continued.
"Does Mr Queen even know you're setting up a sex dungeon down here? Or did you just sneak in and set it up like some kind of freaky sex fiend?" She was looking more and more affronted by the second.
"Of course Oliver knows I'm here-"
"Oh sohe'sthe owner of this sex dungeon?" I said, as though I'd just understood everything, "Is that his suit and bow over there as well?" I asked, gesturing towards the bow and costume laid out on a table on the other side of the secret hideout.
Felicity's head whipped round to see the vigilante costume neatly laid out on the table, before turning back to me looking both embarrassed and guilty, a slight red tint to her cheeks, I heard the words come from the radio.
"You told him my name too?!" That was definitely Oliver's voice.
"No?" Like I said, she was a horrible liar.
"Who'd have guessed it?" I asked, sounding shocked and elated. "Oliver Queen is the hood! I'm gonna be rich once I sell this story to the papers! Thank you so much!" I knew she couldn't see my smile but she could probably tell by my tone as she buried her head in her arms.
"Goddammit." Said a different voice from the radio.
"Could younottell the papers that Oliver Queen is the Hood? The police already did that, twice!" Felicity asked me, her tone exhausted.
"I'm sorry, I think I have to. I need the money after all," I let out a heavy sigh, as though I was genuinely apologetic, "You see, I have two babies on the way, there will probably be a third one soon enough, I have to get the money to take care of them."
There was a look of sympathy on her face as she me a soft smile, "Oh, I'm sorry, but it'll be ok." Suddenly her face became brighter as she said.
"Hey! You know Oliver is actually quite wealthy, I'm sure he'd be willing to pay you not to tell anyone."
The voice over the radio groaned, "Now your trying to bribe him?"
"I'mofferingto buy the story from him." Felicity replied.
Suddenly I heard quiet footsteps behind me and turned to see the hood, clad in full vigilante attire with his bow raised and an arrow drawn, and I heard Felicity sigh in relief behind me.
"Hey Oliver!" I said cheerfully, giving him a wave, "We were just talking about you."
"Who are you and what do you want?" His voice was deep and gravity, purposely thrown to to sound darker than usual.
"I'm the white supremacist hood." I answered and I saw his eyes narrow behind his mark, his head tilting in bewilderment.
"Lawton? Is that you?" Oliver's voice returned to normal, preventing me from retelling my Origin story.
I sighed, lowering my hood to reveal my face and raising an eyebrow in his direction, "You really have to suck the fun out of everything."
Oliver lowered his hood as well, removing his mask, "I thought you were out of town playing basketball?"
"I come back between games, I got your message about Slade and came right over."
"Is it worth asking how you knew this was where you'd find me?"
Shrugging I said, "I'd have to come to the Queen mansion next."
"Wait, you know this guy?" Asked Felicity, who was clearly making a deliberate effort to not stare.
"Dante Lawton, he's an old friend." Oliver answered, at the same time a short haired rather buff looking black man came around the corner from where he'd been hiding.
"Like, the Basketball player?" Felicity asked with a frown, "Laurel's boyfriend?"
"That's the one. I lied about my origin story by the way, I was born black. The rest did actually happen though."
Felicity's eyes widened as she asked, "Is Laurel pregnant, with twins?! Or was that a lie too?"
"Oh," I cringed, I probably should have let Laurel tell people first… eh too late now. "She is pregnant, but not with twins."
Oliver's eyes widened while the black dude behind him gave me a smile, apparently enjoying the show, "Laurel's pregnant!?"
There was a surprising amount of shock in Oliver's voice, "Yes? She is twenty seven, that's more than old enough to be a mother."
"You're fifteen!" Oliver shouted, was he just annoyed because Laurel was his ex? I thought he moved on with Sarah back on the Queen's Gambit before it sank.
"He's sixteen." Felicity corrected from behind me, and we both turned to her, "What? I like basketball…"
I turned back to Oliver, a triumphant grin on my face.
"Wait," Said Felicity, "What about the second baby?"
"Ah, that, well…" I scratched the back of my head awkwardly as I said to Oliver, "Remember when we last spoke?"
Oliver's eyes narrowed dangerously, "Yes, you had sex with my little sister."
"Well, you know what happens nine months after sex…" His eyes widened and he looked ready to attack me as I muttered, "It's been almost three months now."
"Youimpregnatedmysister!?"Oliver shouted, taking several steps towards me.
"Calm down man, I already said I'd take responsibility, she's one of mine now, I'll take care of her." I said, raising my hands in his direction.
"I can'tbelieveyou did that tomysister, aren't we supposed to be friends?" He was sounding a little betrayed now.
"You sound just like Laurel." I replied with a scoff, making him stop short, "Sleeping with someone's sister really is a rude thing to do, isn't it? Well at least Thea wasn't missing afterwards."
The man behind Oliver mouthed the word 'Ouch' while silently clutching his chest and I could hear even Felicity cringe.
Ok, that was a low blow, but he started it.
Quickly trying to change the subject I said, "Anyway's, speaking of Sarah, she's back in town, and the league of assassins are trying to kill her."
That seemed to do the job of distracting Oliver as he said, "Sarah's in town?" He sounded concerned but his eyes were hopeful as he looked at me. "Why are the League trying to kill her?"
"Well, that ties back into our time on the island, see after you left and joined Argus Sarah and I washed up on the beach and were picked up by the league, we joined almost immediately." Oliver nodded to show he was following as I continued.
"Now Sarah, in her infinite wisdom, decided to abandon the League to come visit me, you met her the other day at the Police station." Oliver groaned, comprehension flashing across his face as he spoke.
"The only way to leave the League of Assassins is through the grave…"
"And now they're trying to send her there." I finished his sentence for him as he frowned.
"What are you going to do?" He was looking somewhat worried as I grinned.
"I have a plan."
