It was finally the end of the Aftermath as everyone started heading to their respective rooms.
The second Gwen was introduced by Blaineley, her former friend, LeShawna avoided Gwen's at all cost. Gwen at first was a little hurt by the action but decided to bottle it up. LeShawna on the other-hand had been giving secret glances towards her former friend. Their friendship collapsed earlier in the previous season.
As the two walked past each other, both lowered their heads.
Friendship over.
As Gwen made her way through the curtains, a certain bookworm was standing there. "That was sad to watch." Noah claimed. "And I love watching friendships tumble. Feels like I'm watching a reality tv show in real life. Wait, no. I am." He snickered.
"I hope that was worth it then." Gwen mumbled, walking away.
Noah was a bit shocked. Him and Gwen had a small friendship built up throughout the course of the three seasons and loved mocking each other. He had expected some witty remark by Gwen, commenting on how lame Noah's comment was but that was a no show.
"Gwen?" Noah asked catching up to Noah. "What was that? I was expecting you to retort back." He grinned, trying to make Gwen crack a smile.
"Well sometimes you don't live up to your expectations. Like how I shouldn't have spoken to Harold or even picked him on the team to ruin my perfectly good friendship with LeShawna." Gwen ranted.
"Uh... Gwen? How about we talk about this somewhere private? This is where the producers work." Noah stated, patting Gwen's back. "Come on, let's go."
SCENE CHANGE
"You said private. Why are we in the grocery store?" Gwen inquired.
"Spent too much time with Owen." Noah shrugged. "You pay for your own food."
"Alright, let's get this over with." Gwen stated, picking up a bag of chips and brownies. "Let's just sit outside."
The two bought their food as they sat on a bench in front of the store. Although people recognised them, they weren't particularly a 'fan favourite' as crazy fans would much rather prefer someone like Lindsay or Alejandro. This was fortunate for Gwen and Noah since they didn't need any nosy fans creeping on their conversations. Luckily, Sierra was still in the game.
"So what happened?" Noah questioned. "Thought you and LeShawna were going to be the next Katie and Sadie, not the next Heather and Lindsay." Noah chuckled. "Never would've expected that."
Gwen knew where this was going. Noah was going to say that Gwen was Heather in the situation and LeShawna was Lindsay. Just like how Gwen was now the newly proclaimed, 'New Heather'. The thoughts of being like her sworn enemy was awful. It was the worst feeling ever which has fumed Gwen up.
"Let me guess, you're going to say I'm Heather. After all, I am the New Heather." Gwen fumed, leaning back onto the bench. "I wish I never even joined this crappy show."
Noah raised his hands up in defeat. "Woah, I never said that Dracula. I was just trying to lighten up the mood."
"It didn't work." Gwen retorted, crossing her arms.
Noah took a deep breath. Having an idea of what Gwen was thinking. He had a little experience in Gwen's shoes before. Although it wasn't portrayed in the show since Noah was one of the more irrelevant characters. "Fine. Tell me what happened." Noah responded. "I won't crack any jokes. Although I am pretty funny."
"You're really not." Gwen retaliated.
"Just tell me what happened." Noah deadpanned.
Gwen also took a deep breath. "Alright. Last season, when I was captain, I had to chose people for my team. As I was doing so, I picked Harold. After that, LeShawna and I's friendship was very rocky and had tons of arguments until we had a really big argument the day before the challenge. We completely ignored each other the next day and the next challenge, she teamed up with Heather and I was eliminated." Gwen explained.
"Oh yeah, I remember seeing that." Noah stated.
Gwen raised an eyebrow. "Seeing what?"
"The fight. It was one of the behind the scenes footage and was probably the most entertaining thing I've ever seen." Noah claimed. "Now, I have a question for you. I've been noticing some things from you guys and maybe it was also because you chose Duncan over her."
"What do you mean? I would never do that." Gwen protested.
"Okay look, last season, you were always around Duncan and LeShawna was always around Harold. Maybe it's because you two were both putting boys over friendships." Noah suggested.
Gwen was silent. She hadn't thought about the actions she had done. She thought back on the season and yes, she did leave LeShawna for Duncan at times. They both left each other for is awful. What was I thinking?"I really did that?"
Noah nodded. "Yeah." Noah agreed.
"Thanks Noah." Gwen thanked.
"As my reward, do I get the brownies?" Noah inquired. "You know? For solving your problems."
Gwen snatched the brownies away, thinking about LeShawna. She loved brownies. "No, I'm giving it to LeShawna."
"Rude!" Noah rolled his eyes.
SCENE CHANGE
All the losers and people who didn't participate in season three were all lounging on their 5-star plane. Geoff and Bridgette had been planning on sending the crew to Hawaii to celebrate the soon ending of World Tour. Fortunately, this plan was a success, using the earnings Geoff and Bridgette gained from the Aftermath Show and remaining from the money sent to fix the plane. It was amazing what could be done from the Aftermath Show.
Noah had been isolated from the rest as he stared out the window. He had finished his all of his books and had nothing to do.
Normally, Noah would hang out with Owen, Eva and Izzy. Owen's still in the game, Izzy is in some mental institution for how smart she is and Eva is with DJ, learning to control her anger. That's why he was half-surprised seeing Gwen sit next to him.
"What happened to LeShawna?" Noah asked.
Gwen pulled out her book from her bag. "I... haven't spoken to her yet but I decided to sit next to you." Gwen claimed.
"At least you're not annoying." Noah responded, staring at Gwen's book.
"That was probably the nicest thing you've ever said to me. Thank you." Gwen stated.
Noah kept eyeing the book. "Not welcome. I'm not your boyfriend so I don't need to be nice with you. Oh wait, your boyfriend isn't either."
"Duncan's a nice guy." Gwen reassured. "Really."
"I doubt that." Noah deadpanned. "What book are you reading?" Gwen didn't respond and instead just showed him the book cover. "Oh that book. That one sucks."
Gwen raised her eyebrow. "Have you even read the book?"
"No, but you're reading a fantasy book." Noah stated. "Thought you were more of those emo-slitting, horror types."
"Emo-slitting is not even a genre, genius." Gwen deadpanned. "Just read the book."
She moved the fantasy book closer to Noah so the both could read. The two read in silence, making witty remarks once in a while but other than that, comfortable silence. Noah was being more and more intrigued by the book. He'd never really read any fantasy book-apart from the exception of Harry Potter which he found decent but now something he'd ever want to read- and thought all fantasy books weren't well written but this one was amazing.
"Dudes! We're here!" Geoff celebrated, getting out of his chair. "It's time to party! Woohoo!" He cheered as everyone slowly got out of the plane. Gwen and Noah never got to finish the book.
SCENE CHANGE
Once the crew were in Hawaii, most of the crew were playing beach volleyball together. Except for Gwen and Noah who were distastefully sitting by the sidelines, watching the game. The two were getting more bored by the minute until Noah nudged Gwen. "Could you get that book?"
"I thought this book 'sucked'." Gwen quoted. "After all, it is just a fantasy book."
"You wanna continue watching them?" Noah pointed to the group playing volleyball.
Gwen stared at the group as she nodded. "Good point." She said, leaving to get the book from her room. She came back holding the book in her hands. "You remember what page we were on?"
"Chapter twenty-one, page two-hundred-and-sixty." Noah responded, crossing his arms.
After reading for a bit, Gwen started getting bored. The book wasn't very interesting as the characters kept delving through the same things over and over again. It was very repeated and uninteresting. However, Noah found it amusing.
Gwen stood up, stretching as she pulled away from the book. "Noah, let's do something."
"No." Noah answered. "After I finish the book."
"Oh come," Gwen pestered, pulling Noah's arm. "You can't be stuck on this book forever. Let's do something."
Noah didn't budge and instead snickered. "Weak."
Gwen sighed, looking down, kicking the sand. She was getting bored and wanted to do something which didn't revolve around a book. Now the roles were reversed as Noah loved the book while Gwen resented it. "You suck."
"Gwen?" Some interrupted.
Gwen looked up to see...
