Once all the campers arrived back got off their plane, they were back to where the Hawaii Aftermath was. Luckily, the Aftermath was sectioned far away from the volcano and the finale so campers could still have a break and have fun in Hawaii. Somehow, Bridgette and Geoff managed to bring everyones' families to Hawaii as well to celebrate for the third season of Total Drama. This time, no cameras, no Chris, no annoying people and finally, no challenges.
After two whole seasons, Gwen, LeShawna and Bridgette finally reunited. This time, everyone actually liked each other and didn't secretly despise each other.
The three friends were all getting along when the three watched Owen, Geoff, Duncan and Harold were playing rugby. Shockingly, Harold was also joining along which left the three friends in fits of laughter. Harold had been tackled to the ground numerous times and still participated in the game. It was very entertaining to watch.
"Can't believe String Bean still got the guts to participate after that one!" LeShawna laughed.
Bridgette nudged LeShawna. "He's got more guts that you do."
"Uh no one got bigger guts that me girl! Especially not Harold for goodness sake!" LeShawna protested. "All jokes honey!" LeShawna said to Harold.
Harold heard that as he stopped running away and placed an arm on his hip. "Why I never! Hmph!" Harold scoffed. That was until Owen tackled Harold for the ball. "AAH! My spine!"
The three girls chortled at the sight but Gwen's attention drifted away from the ridiculous sight as her eyes started wandering around in search of !Immediately after Gwen thought that, Duncan turned around to spot Gwen, sitting under the umbrella on the sand with the other two girls. He flashed a smile at Gwen which sent her blushing. Just a couple hours ago, Gwen had just blurted out that she loved Duncan to him. Not that the two haven't said that to each other yet but Duncan had always been the first to initiate it. So ultimately, Gwen ran away and hid from his sight because of how sheepish she felt.
LeShawna patted Gwen's back. "C'mon Harold! Fight back! They ain't strong!" LeShawna cheered. "Especially Danger Boy!" Duncan rolled his eyes at the statement. "You got this Honey! Just snatch the ball!"
"Yeah Harold! You can do this!" Bridgette cheered.
"Yeah!" Gwen agreed.
Geoff turned around from Bridgette's words. "Hello? Where's my support? As you know, I am yourboyfriend!" Geoff emphasised it as he pointed to himself. Afterwards, he pulled Duncan close to whisper something to him. The three girls watched the two whisper something while the other guys continued playing rugby. "Got that?" Geoff asked as Duncan nodded. "Good."
"What's your mans talking 'bout?" LeShawna scoffed. "It better not involve poor Harold into this."
Gwen raised a finger. "I think it's too late." She pointed to the scene where Harold had the ball and the rest of the guys were surrounding him. They were going to attack.
LeShawna uneasily stared at the sight. Harold was going to get trampled all over and the girls all knew it. So, LeShawna gave the two a look as she pulled them closer. "I think I have a plan." She stated as she whispered the plan to the other two girls.
Harold was running away from the other guys in hope to come out alive. They obviously wouldn't kill him but they would be close enough. He was hating every moment of this.
Geoff on the other hand was enjoying every moment. He remembered doing this the first season and brought back nostalgia of how fun season one was. He was about to tackle Harold until someone pulled him away. Bridgette. She gave a grin which Geoff cheeky grinned back at her. "Babe, not that I don't enjoy this because I totally do but I need to get the ball from Harold so if you could-mhmm..." Geoff stated as he was cut off by Bridgette kissing him. Immediately, Geoff kissed back as he wrapped his arms around Bridgette's waist... leading into a make-out session...again. However, since the couple have a massive height difference, Geoff decided to pick Bridgette up as Bridgette wrapped her legs around Geoff's waist. All while they were kissing. They might beat a new record on the longest kiss. Probably have. Although the couple have been dating for well over a year now, they still seemed to be acting as if they'd just gotten into a relationship. Maturity is not a thing when these two are in a relationship..
"Oh come on dude!" Duncan groaned watching the two make-out.
"Yes!" Harold silently cheered as Geoff was stopped. Surprisingly, Harold was a fast runner and since Geoff was the only one who got close enough to pounce on him, he felt safe to say that he'd probably be fine if he kept running. He just needed the ball. "For LeShawna."
LeShawna enthusiastically watched as Harold escaped the other guys. She arose from her spot, waving her hands around. "You got this White Boy!"
Harold dashed away to the water as he tried to find a hiding spot. Dumb idea but there were no boundaries. So, as he was searching around for a hiding spot, Duncan secretly hid behind a colossal rock as he watched. He was waiting for the perfect time to attack.
Duncan formed a grin as he watched Harold mindlessly wander right into his trap. "Hook, line and sinker- Pasty?" Duncan asked, watching his Gwen hug him from behind. "You're not going to do what Bridgette did tp Geoff, Sweetheart. So I suggest you let go before I do it myself." Duncan threatened, feeling Gwen nuzzle her head against his shoulder. "Alright then, don't say I didn't warn you..." He chuckled before Gwen planted a kiss on his shoulder. "Did you just kiss my shoulder?"
"Um... yes?" Gwen responded before tackling Duncan to the water. Gwen got a firm position to make sure Duncan doesn't escape. She learnt that from Duncan. Once she was confident he wouldn't escape, she looked up to see LeShawna as she raised a thumb. "Got him!"
"This was a set up!? Seriously?" Duncan groaned as he watched his last line of hope fall on the sand. "C'mon Owen! What are you doing!?" Duncan exclaimed. "Geoff!?"
Harold inspected the place. No one was there to stop him. No one was there to take the ball and it was in Harold's gave up... that means I win!Harold thought. "I win! LeShawna did you see that!? I won!" Harold cheered, jumping on LeShawna's arms. "Does that mean I get a victory kiss?"
"You sure do." LeShawna stated, kissing Harold.
While the two couples were kissing, Duncan sneakily released his arm from Gwen's grip and threw Gwen into the water as he stood up. He was about to call for Geoff when he heard small splashes behind him. Guess being a criminal helps. Before Gwen could jump on him, Duncan turned around, catching Gwen and spinning her around.
After their little water fight, the couple walked over to Bridgette and Geoff. LeShawna and Harold had already left to get something to eat as Bridgette and Geoff continued to make-out. Duncan had an idea of what he was going to do until Gwen looked up to see a girl and Trent. The girl was talking to Trent but he wasn't listening. He was just staring at Gwen from afar with a lost look. This made Gwen feel worse. She didn't want Trent to end up like this. And the girl seemed to like Trent.
"Dude! You didn't have to ruin it." Geoff scoffed.
Gwen held onto Duncan's hand as she dragged him out. "I've got to talk to Duncan about something." Gwen stated, dragging him away.
"Did I do something?" Duncan inquired.
"No, you didn't do anything. I just want to talk about something." Gwen responded. "Also, do you know who that girl is who's trying to talk to Trent?" Gwen inquired, pointing to Trent and the girl. It was most likely one of the campers' sister.
Duncan shrugged. "Think that was Heather's sister or something."
SCENE CHANGE
After having their talk, Duncan encouraged Gwen to go with the plan. Yes, they have a plan. So, Gwen marched straight up to Heather, who was talking to the same girl who was trying to talk to Heather. So it has to be Heather's sister. Although the two seemed to have been talking about something, Gwen needs to do this so she taps Heather's shoulder.
Heather craned her neck to face Gwen. "Yeah Gwen?" She asked. Not in her usual harsh tone... That seemed to have lost Gwen's train of thought.
"That was nice of you." Gwen stated.
"What is?" Heather inquired, taking interest to the conversation.
Gwen shrugged. "You talking to me like a normal person and I guess that just caught me off guard." Heather lowered her head from what she heard from Gwen. "That's a good thing. Don't worry. Um... can we talk about something? In private." Gwen inquired. "It's urgent."
"Uh... sure." Heather agreed as she stood up. "I'll be back, alright? Go talk to someone. You know Cody, right?"
The girl nodded as she walked away. "I'll just be back." She stated.
"Alright, bye!" Heather waved before turning to face Gwen again. "So what is it? It better be important." Heather said, placing an arm on her hip.
"Well... I sort of need your help." Gwen started. "You don't need to do much but I think your sister likes Trent. It's a good thing but I was planning on setting the two up. So, both your sister and Trent could be happy y'know?"
Heather looked at Gwen with a perplexing look. "My sister's thirteen." She claimed. "And my other one's eight."
Gwen was so confused. That girl looked almost exactly like Heather. And certainly did not look thirteen. Moreover eight. Then who was that girl then? This was so perplexing. Trent was eighteen and Heather's sister who was probably thirteen likes him. "She's thirteen!?" Gwen shrieked, pointing to the girl who was sitting by the side of the pool while the others played their beach games. "No way."
"What?" Heather said, turning around to see the girl. "Oh you mean Tiffany? She's my cousin you moron. And she does not like Trent. Her type is Justin and Alejandro." Heather crossed her arms. "Barf."
Gwen slightly tilted her head and the previous comment. "Weren't you the one who got jealous every time someone flirted with Alejandro. Does either Courtney, LeShawna or Bridgette ring a bell?" Gwen joked. "There was more people. Who else was there?"
"Well there's a reason why I'd rather tolerate you thanthosepeople." Heather interrupted.
Gwen nodded along, knowing exactly what Heather was thinking. Heather preferred her because she didn't flirt with Alejandro or let him flirt with her. Probably because Gwen was too busy with Duncan but either way, Heather was content that someone didn't flirt with Alejandro. Gwen dropped the subject as she spotted Tiffany move closer to Trent. Trent hadn't noticed yet as he continued watching the game. "Heather look!" Gwen pointed to the two.
Heather watched as Tiffany slowly made herself move closer and closer to Trent. The Tiffany she knew would never do something as pathetic as that. She looked back at Gwen and nodded. "I think you're right."
"Lucky for you, I've got a plan." Gwen stated.
SCENE CHANGE
To not interact with Trent, Gwen used the help from Duncan to lure him in as Heather lured Tiffany. While the two were at it, Gwen was setting up the dinner table. Once she finished, she gazed at it and smiled.
It was around 6-7pm as the sun started setting, showing off its beautiful sight. Candles were lit up and the restaurant was a cute little restaurant on the rooftop to avoid the disturbance of the loud eater from downstairs. The serene environment surrounded by beautiful smells of the flowers and plants. It was perfect. Perfect date. Perfect way to make Trent get over Gwen. It was about time.
Once Gwen heard noises, she quickly fled away from the scene, hiding in the downstairs compartment of the restaurant. Then, she saw Heather leading Tiffany to the table.
"You wait here and I'll be back. Donotleave."
Tiffany didn't let her eyes leave the phone as she spoke. "Unlikely." She hummed.
Heather left as Tiffany waited on her phone. Meanwhile, Duncan was finally able to bring Trent to the restaurant with a lot of pestering... threatening and blackmail. So once Duncan led Trent inside the restaurant, Duncan dashed away as Trent was left confused. He was about to leave until the waiter spotted him and led him upstairs. All the way to... Tiffany. She looked up, thinking Heather came back and was overwhelmed with feelings when she saw Trent.
"I-I need to leave. right n-now. My... dog just died." Tiffany lied. "Got to go!" She stated before she was stopped by the waiter.
The waiter got a heads up to make sure Trent and Tiffany enjoy their date and not leave from Heather as he knew what to do. "Don't be silly ma'am. Go back down, everything will be taken care of." He stated as he ushered Tiffany to sit back down. Trent was about to stand up before the waiter placed a hand on his shoulder. "I insist you stay."
"F-fine." Trent responded, sitting back down.
The two sat in awkward silence. No one knew what to say or do as Tiffany had a crush on Trent while Trent had absolute no interest in her. Tiffany dawdled with her black hair as she finally got the courage to speak. "So, what music are you into?"
That was a success as the two slowly bonded on their similarities. Trent was soon started being fond of Tiffany. He found her relatable and a nice person. Maybe he foundhissomeone and could finally move on from Gwen. Tiffany on the other hand was enjoying everything which happened. At first, it was awkward and uncomfortable but now, she was enjoying herself. She was exhilarated at her luck... more of Gwen and Heather's handiwork.
Gwen and Heather peeked through to check up on the two as they high-fived at their success.
SCENE CHANGE
After their set up, Trent and Tiffany started spending more and more time together. The two want to take their relationship slowly but that wasn't the case when by the end of the Hawaii trip, the two were holding hand.
However, Gwen and Trent never rekindled their friendship. After their small encounter in The Aftermath, they never spoke again. Although Gwen was the one to set Trent up with Tiffany, she never confessed to it but she didn't want to have a bad relationship with Trent. Mostly because the two were very good friends before feelings started to develop. She didn't want to lose that bond with Trent. So, as everyone was having their last game of spikeball, Gwen sat next to Trent. The two sat in silence, watching the game until Trent spoke up.
"I'm sorry." He admitted, looking down.
Gwen was confused at this action. She didn't know what Trent did wrong as everyone else clearly blamed Gwen for their breakup. "For what?"
"For everything." Trent stated. "I had a long think about everything which happened and I've realised that... I made you very uncomfortable. I didn't notice but thinking back at it again, I really did do that. Also the fact that I kinda caused everyone to turn against you for our breakup."
"That's alright. Not everyone did. Butnoweveryone is after thething." Gwen stated, hinting about her and Duncan's situation in World Tour. "It's not that bad though but can't imagine how it'll be like at home."
"Thought you two were just friends huh? 'Least he didn't treat you crappier than I'd imagined. I mean, he did care for you. A lot. Surprisingly."
Gwen forced a smile as she awkwardly rubbed her arm. She felt awful thinking about everything Trent would've witnessed. He must've felt awful. "I'm sorry. I didn't think about how you would be feeling after witnessing whatever happened in World Tour. I shouldn't have done it but... I guess I got a gut instinct it was the right decision and..."
"It was." Trent added. "Although you guys didn't get together in the most... ethical way. And I don't want to admit it, you guys are suitable for each other. Not like... how we were."
Gwen put a hand on Trent's shoulder. "Trent don't say that. We are suitable for each other... as friends." Gwen stated. "I think that would be the best thing and I don't want to lose you when I need someone reasonable to talk to." Gwen joked. "That was a joke but can we just stay friends. Things were better off when we were. I'm really sorry about being inconsiderate of you when I was with Duncan but I don't want to ruin that friendship we had back in season one."
Trent pondered for a moment. Him and Gwen were so much better when they stayed as friends. "You don't need to apologise." Trent stated, admiring Tiffany play spikeball. "I think it was the best thing to do for us to break up. Now that I'm over it and finally found... Tiffany."
"So... friends?" Gwen inquired.
"Friends." Trent stated.
The two were finally friends again. It was back to being good again as Gwen and Trent sat together, talking and catching up.
"Gwen!" Duncan called out, indicating Gwen to come over to him.
Gwen stood up about to leave until she turned to Trent. "You okay if I go?" Gwen inquired. Trent nodded as she ran over to Duncan, placing a quick peck on the lips. "Yeah Dunc?" She inquired as Duncan snaked his arm on Gwen's waist.
"Did Trent talk to you?" Duncan inquired.
"Yeah..." Gwen cautiously agreed. Did Duncan do something? "Why...?"
Duncan shrugged. "Just talked to him the other day when you were asking me to lure him into the restaurant. I guess that put some sense into him." Duncan stated, looking over Gwen's shoulder to see Trent. "You good for Saturday right?" Duncan called out to Trent.
"Yeah, just call me!" Trent responded, putting a thumbs up.
Duncan nodded and him and Gwen started walking off. Gwen looked up at Duncan as she decided to speak. "On for what?"
