Angel: We have made it to 200 favorites and follows for the story, which is crazy considering we're not even close to halfway through the series yet. Thank you guys sincerely for that, so to thank you, tomorrow will be three chapters uploaded instead of 2! I know some people really want to see what happens in season 3, so you'll be one chapter closer to what happens during camp which I will not spoil.
Just when it seemed like the end for her, Katsuki came jumping in, setting off a huge explosion from his hand. Izuku and Ochaco gasped in shock. "Kacchan!" Izuku exclaimed, the blond having a triumphant smirk on his face. Some of the robots were suddenly covered in ice. Soon after, a shooting star flew by, zigzagging between some robots to knock them down. Ochaco turned around to see Eijiro, Shoto, and Izuka running towards her.
"Todoroki, Kirishima, and Mido!" Ochaco shouted in relief, Shoto and Izuka running to her side.
"Ochaco!" Izuka smiled at her in relief.
"That was close, are you okay?" Shoto stood in front of her protectively.
"Yeah, fine," She responded, glancing up above her head. "I used my Quirk on Deku and Melissa. They should be able to reach the top."
"Good job," Shoto told her as she, Izuka, and himself watch Eijiro and Katsuki fight the robots. "Now you can help us stop these things! Mido, your brother and Melissa might need you! You should follow them!" He then sent out some ice.
"Okay!" She nodded sharply and ran off. "Good luck, you guys!"
"I don't need it!" Katsuki looked over his shoulder in annoyance. Eijiro slowly shook his head at him. "And who died and made you boss anyway?!" He screamed while destroying robots with explosions.
"Aw, come on, man," Eijiro struck robots using his hardening. "You're a good team!"
"Dream on!" Katsuki leaped into the air, sending a stronger blast.
"Thanks so much, you gu-" A strong wind propeller sent him and Melissa flying off course. The two screamed in alarm, Ochaco looking up in worry. Izuka gasped while looking up.
"Oh no! They're blowing away!"
"Dang it!" Izuka then shot herself into the sky using her shooting stars, her flying one appearing right underneath her. Once she landed, she took off as fast as she could. However, she slowed down a few seconds later. "Oh no...I might be reaching my limit thanks to helping the others," She murmured while looking at her flying star. She then gritted her teeth, trying to gain speed as much as she could. I can't let them get out of range! Come on, move it...!
Shoto threw off his jacket while running. "Bakugo! Aim towards Mido's star, quick!"
"I told you not to give me orders!" Katsuki screamed while still doing as asked, the flames underneath the girl to give her a boost. She shouted in alarm as she was now a bit closer, but it still wasn't enough as she reached out her hand.
"Now aim towards the propeller!"
Katsuki growled but hit one since he knew Izuka was still out of range. Shoto lit his left arm on fire, letting out a yell as he sent powerful flames at the propeller. Izuka braced herself, yelping as she was sent flying towards the two at a faster speed. She then expanded her flying star so that Melissa and Izuku could land right behind her.
"Gotcha!" She smiled a little.
"That did it!" Ochaco smiled in relief.
"Yeah!" Eijiro cheered as he looked up.
Todoroki...you used your flames. Thank you! Izuku looked back at his classmate in relief as his left sleeve was now scorched. He didn't seem to mind, though. Izuka glanced back towards Katsuki, her hair flying behind her. She then gave him a small grateful smile. He blinked and then scoffed, turning away while his face was a bit red.
"Deku! Izuka! We're going to hit the wall!" Melissa cried out as the flying star was going a little too fast. Izuku gritted his teeth as he remembered something.
"This gauntlet and armor are strong. It could withstand Uncle Might's punches three times, I would think," Melissa smiled at the two in her lab.
Izuku clenched a fist as Izuka pressed the button from her belt to make her armor appear. This is it, no time to hold back now! "Hang on tight!" Izuku informed the blonde and Izuka didn't need to question what was on his mind.
"Okay!" She hugged him tight as Izuku jumped off the flying star. Izuka then held up a hand, bracing herself as both fire and ice circled from her palm. She looked exhausted as she was getting to cross her limit...
One for All...Full Cowling!
Mercury...Blast!
Izuka fired off her attack just as her brother recoiled back his hand. Detroit...Smash! Together, they made an opening as smoke appeared. "They got in the tower! Release!" Ochaco pressed her fingers together. The three then started to fall, Izuka narrowing her eyes and soaring towards them. She caught them, but then her exhaustion hit her right then and there. The flying star disappeared right above the ground, causing them all to fall gently.
"Send Swordkil in and the others," Wolfram ordered one of his nearby henchmen.
"Yes, sir!"
"Defend the control room until I can get there," He snarled while walking past All Might. He didn't notice the hero gritting his teeth. He was trying to hold on as much as he could... Keep it up, All Might. Just a little while longer! Your students will prevail. You know they will!
Melissa groaned as she had landed over Izuku. She sat up and then noticed him, gasping. She looked to see Izuka's face planted into the ground. "Ah, Izuka, Deku, are you two okay?"
"I think so," Izuku groaned a little while sitting up. Izuka slowly sat up, letting out a painful sound as she looked at her arm. "I'm more worried about you guys."
Melissa gave him a small smile. "I'm fine. Just some scratches."
"I'm starting to reach my limit with my Quirk," Izuka grunted a bit, remembering that she had used her new move at least three times now. "I think it's because I'm not used to my new ability that I gave out up there while flying."
The two gasped at her in alarm. "Will you be alright?" Melissa wondered in concern, and she turned to them with a small smile.
"My body just needs to rest a bit so I can regain some energy," She put a hand on her left shoulder to relax that muscle a bit. "It's all thanks to your armor that I've been able to last this long," The girl smiled gratefully at Melissa, who returned it happily.
"Not your dress, what happened?" Izuku looked at her in alarm, just now realizing that she looked a bit beat up.
"One of the villains managed to hit me back with my shooting star. If I wasn't fireproof, it'd be a lot worse, trust me," She dusted herself off and Izuku heard something, looking back up with a gasp. He jumped to roll the girls out of the way, looking up to see Swordkil attacking. He then held up his arm with the Gauntlet to withstand the knife.
"You shouldn't have come here!" He snarled down at the boy, the girls looking up in shock.
"Tell me why you criminals are doing this!" Izuku demanded from the man, who created another knife from his other arm.
"You chose the wrong place to play hero, kid!" He swung down his knife, only to be blocked by a shooting star flicked from Izuka's fingers. He growled towards her as she stood up, the villain lunging for them again. The two jumped backwards towards the entrance they made. He managed to knock Izuku out of the building, and the boy could only hang onto a railing.
"Izuku!" Izuka leaped in front of the villain, pressing her hands together as fire and ice combined again. "Mercury Blast!" She knocked him onto the ground and he grunted as he landed. She quickly got onto her feet, reaching out to her brother with a hand towards him. "Quick, grab on!" Swordkil quickly recovered and loomed over her, about to attack the girl from behind! She looked up with a sharp gasp.
"Stop it!" Melissa grabbed onto the villain's arm, pulling his elbow away from Izuka.
"Get out of the way!" He pushed her to the ground, and in the process, he ended up wounding her. Izuka let out a small horrified sound as she glanced at the corner of her eye. Melissa yelped as blood came from her body, landing on her side. "Little girls-" Izuku came out of hiding while Izuka swung up her leg, getting him in the chin while Izuku punched him in the face. Their attacks were so strong that he ended up crashing into the stairwell.
"Melissa!" The twins shouted as some of her blood was still on the floor. They rushed over to check on her.
"Don't worry," She looked at a small knife mark near her elbow. "Look, it's hardly even bleeding."
"I'm so sorry! You got hurt because of me," Izuka frowned sadly; if she had anticipated the attack, Melissa wouldn't have been injured.
"It's not your fault. I knew you needed help," Melissa smiled a bit towards the girl. "And I owed you for helping us get here."
Izuka blinked in disbelief that this was the reasoning for what she did. She bit her lip, as she still didn't feel okay with it. "Here, let me," Izuku started to patch her up, knowing that Izuka still felt bad over it. "I apologize too. I couldn't protect you."
"I think you mean thank you," Melissa chuckled a little, getting their attention. They saw her smile and returned it. They weren't going to let this bother them now that they knew she was just trying to help. And if it wasn't for her, it could've been a lot worse.
"Right!" He then tightened the rag over Melissa's injury and stood up. "Let's go, then. We're almost to the top!"
"Yeah!" Melissa stood up and Izuka pumped her fists in determination.
"I'll do better to protect you, Melissa!"
The older girl blinked and then hummed, patting her on the head. "Fight to the best of your ability, Mido. That's all I can ask for. I don't want you to do more for me. After all, if you do, who am I gonna give that flash drive full of photos to?"
Izuka looked up at her and then beamed a little, giggling with a big smile.
They ran up more stairs and went down the hall. "They're here!" Henchmen immediately started open fire on the twins once they were spotted. Izuku used the ceiling and walls to jump past the gunshots. Izuka held up her star shield to withstand them. Izuku kicked one to the wall hard, looking back at his sister. She slid back a few feet thanks to the rapid-fire gunshots, the bullets falling to the ground in front of her. The girl then looked up with a yell as she charged in with a Comet Punch to the gut, and then punched the man upwards in the jaw hard. He groaned in pain as he fell down a flight of stairs, smoke coming from his stomach. He was also unconscious. She panted as she looked towards the wall, a bit relieved as they were finally...FINALLY on the 200th floor.
"Where'd you learn that?" Izuku blinked in a bit of awe.
"Bakugo taught me how to knock people out if I hit the right pressure point in the jaw," She looked at her flaming left arm as the flames slowly disappeared. "Doesn't work on those way more powerful than a gunman, though." Hence why she never used it on All Might or Daigo, since they were too muscular to knock out that easily.
The three then ran into the top floor. "Melissa, where's the control room located?" Izuku wondered since there were many halls here, and they could easily get lost.
"In front of the central elevator," She responded as they hid behind a wall.
"There doesn't seem to be anyone around the halls. We need to be on our guard," Izuka whispered as she glanced around slowly. Izuku then noticed something in the control room.
"Someone's in there," He whispered, getting her attention as she turned back around. Up ahead, they could see two figures, and Melissa gasped as she recognized one immediately.
"Papa!" She whispered as her father was at the controls.
"Whoa, it is!"
"Why is he up on the top floor, though?" Melissa frowned a bit in worry.
"Maybe the villains brought him here. They might need something from him."
"Whatever it is, they went through a lot of trouble to get it," Izuka narrowed her eyes a bit suspiciously; The whole thing was honestly bugging her. The villains didn't seem native to the island, so how did they get access? They either somehow bypassed the security or they had outside help...
"We have to help him!" Melissa urged the twins and Izuka snapped out of it.
"Right!"
The three inched forward quietly towards the room.
David was at work until a noise went off and he gasped in relief...not seemingly worried what could happen to him. "I've unlocked it. Block 1147."
"Wonderful!" Sam ran over to the block to get something.
"It's opening." It opened up to reveal a briefcase, which Sam took.
David looked back nervously at his assistant. "You did it, Professor! Look, everything is here," He revealed a product from the briefcase. "It's perfect."
"Finally...I've gotten it back," David murmured, clenching his fists. "All my research. And they just took my device away from me," He muttered bitterly, looking towards the ground. "But now it's mine..."
"Just like we planned." The professor looked up silently as Sam was walking over. "And it looks like the villains are holding things down."
"Thank you!" David rushed over to him. "I couldn't have done any of this without your help, Sam."
"Papa..." A faint voice called out, both of them whipping around in surprise. Melissa stepped out of hiding.
"Melissa? No..." Her father murmured in dismay as she and the twins stared up ahead in shock. They couldn't believe what they were hearing...Izuka's hand quivered as she wanted to be wrong...that the villains simply figured out how to get in without anyone noticing...but no. She couldn't be wrong. The security was too advanced for anyone to hack, so that meant...they had contact with someone from the inside to let them in. And to make sure no one noticed they were here...
Because it was all meant to be that way.
