What happened between Felix and his old friend was tough for him, but at least now he has some closure. Now that it's done and over with, it's time to move on and be ready for the next challenge. Still, Felix couldn't get the whole thing out of his head as he stared down at his new card.

"Felix?" Yukina grabbed his shoulder and snapped him out of his thoughts with him seeing her and Cindy. "You okay?"

"Yeah. I just can't get over what happened." Felix said.

"It's understandable, but you got your answers." Cindy said. "Now, let's go. I want to see more of what that new card of yours can do." Maybe Felix should get himself out there. The three of them left his store and were on their way.

"There you are, Yukina!" All three of them looked across the street and saw that Marcus was back. "I'm ready for you this time! Let's duel again, and I'll prove that I'm the best!"

"This guy doesn't seem to get it." Cindy said as Marcus is annoying them with him constantly challenging him.

"Yukina, maybe you should duel him again so he can get the picture and buzz off." Felix said.

"Fine, Marcus. Let's just do this." Yukina said.

"Oh yeah! You're going down this time!" Marcus said as he got ready for the duel. The two of them were about to start when a black limo suddenly pulled up and got between them. "Hey! Can't you see we're about to duel here?!" They all wondered what this was when Yukina and her friends saw the door open up and saw Sabaro come out.

"Sabaro!" Yukina said as they were glad to see him again.

"It's been a long time! It's great to see you!" Cindy said.

"Hey, guys. I wish this was a social visit, but I'm afraid it isn't." Sabaro said as he sounded rather serious. "Get in. There's someone who wants to meet all of you."

"Who?" Felix questioned.

"Just get in. It can't wait." Sabaro said.

"Hey! We're about to duel here!" Marcus called, but Sabaro just simply ignored him. Sabaro did sound rather serious, so the three of them got in the limo and it drove off with all of them. "Hey! Get back here! Yukina, you're suppose to duel me!" He called. He wasn't going to take this lightly.

...

The WDA Headquarters

Yukina and the others couldn't believe it when they saw that Sabaro was taking them the headquarters of the WDA. They knew he worked for them, but they never thought they would actually be brought to the place. This was an incredible moment for them. When they pulled up to the main entrance, they entered the main lobby and saw that Cray and Kent were there.

"Cray! Kent! You were invited here too?" Yukina said.

"Yeah. I really didn't care what these people want, but they were persistent." Cray said.

"Anyone got a clue as to why we were called here?" Kent questioned.

"Just follow me and all will be explained." Sabaro said as he showed the way. He took them to an elevator and headed straight up. "As you might remember, I infiltrated the Black Ace organization as a spy when I was really working for the WDA. My mission was to learn of the Black Ace's agenda, and to find those who might oppose them that could be our allies."

"Does this have something to do with them?" Yukina questioned.

"Don't tell me the Black Ace is making a comeback." Felix said as none of them liked the sound of that.

"Well, Diego was never arrested like he should have been, and Raika is still missing with Life Destroyer." Sabaro said. "We've been cautious of them ever since. We're well aware of you guys and how hard you fought in Duel Battlers to stop them. That's why there's someone who wants to meet you." They arrived at the top floor and were entering the main office. "Everyone, I would like you to meet the head of the WDA." Sabaro said as he opened the door and they were now meeting with the man in charge. He had a lean body with him wearing a burgundy coat with a white shirt, blue tie, and black pants. He also had auburn hair that actually looked a little messy.

"It's a pleasure to meet you, Yukina Osama, and your friends. I'm Justin Hirozin."

"Wow! I can't believe we're meeting with the head of the WDA!" Cindy said as she had stars in her eyes.

"It's... It's a pleasure to meet you!" Kent said as he felt his body get so stiff.

"It's great to meet someone like you, but what are we doing here?" Yukina questioned.

"What would the WDA want with us?" Felix questioned.

"What we would like is your help." Justin said. "I'm well aware of your performance and how you all dueled in Duel Battlers, especially you, Yukina. You were able to defeat the Black Ace's best duelists. Ever since they proposed Duel Battlers, we've been cautious of them and tried to keep our eyes on them. Before Duel Battlers, we had no idea about the Black Ace or how dangerous they were. Letting them do what they want was a mistake."

"It's not your fault." Felix said. "The Black Ace kept themselves hidden from the world. A lot of people didn't know about them."

"We surely didn't until they came and tried to recruit me." Cray said.

"But after what happened in Duel Battlers, we still haven't been able to get our hands on them and put a stop to any of their nefarious schemes they might have." Justin said. "After seeing Malicious Fiend: Life Destroyer, I never knew that such power could exist in a card."

"You can say that again." Yukina said. "The truth is that our decks hold great and mysterious power in them, and we duelists might be able to bring that power out. The Black Ace wanted to exploit that power and use it for their own purposes."

"What does any of this have to do with what you want right now from us?" Cray said as he was getting impatient.

"Cray, show a little respect for once." Felix said.

"After Duel Battlers, I decided to do a little more research." Justin said. "With the WDA's resources, we tried to learn more about Life Destroyer. We want to know where that kind of card even came from, and how we can neutralize it so that it can never be a threat again. The fact that a mere card can drain the life force out of someone is truly terrifying. I wouldn't have believed it myself if wasn't for Sabaro's report. These past six months, we've run our investigation while trying to find what became of the Black Ace. We ended up getting more than we bargained for."

"We learned that Malicious Fiend: Life Destroyer wasn't the only card out there." Sabaro claimed. "We learned...there are six of them in total." All of them were shocked to hear about that. There was more than one card like Life Destroyer out there?

"Are you serious? There are five other cards just like Life Destroyer?!" Cindy said.

"I knew about Life Destroyer because it was sealed in Decker Village, my home, before Diego and Raika stole it. I had no idea about there being five more just like it." Yukina claimed.

"That is why I asked for you all to come here." Justine claimed. "I'm concerned that Diego knows about this, and has spent these past six months searching for the other five Malicious Fiends. If they are anything like Life Destroyer, they are dangerous. We have to ensure those cards are locked away."

"Wait a second. We might have done our part to stop the Black Ace and Raika, but we don't know anything about these other five cards." Cindy said. "Besides, it was mostly Yukina."

"I would sell the rest of you short." Justin said. "I read files on each one of you. I think you all are strong duelists, and you know about this enemy better than anyone. If the Black Ace really does make some sort of comeback, I can't think of anyone else more fit for the job."

"Man... I thought this wall behind us." Kent claimed as they weren't really looking forward to this mess again.

"Guys, he's got a point. If there are really a total of six Malicious Fiends, we have to make sure their sealed away." Yukina claimed.

"I agree." Felix said. "We all remember how powerful and dangerous Life Destroyer is. Look at what happened back in Duel Battlers. If there are really others like Life Destroyer, and they fall into the wrong hands, I don't think even want to think of the damage they can do."

"But what can we do to help? We're not experts about them." Kent claimed. "What do you want us to do?"

"There might be a way." Justin suggested. "I want all of you to compete as a team in the Worldwide Supreme Tournament." They were all surprised to hear that themselves. They've been wanting to find a way to compete in the tournament and it sounds like a way is being offered.

"Wait. How does us competing in the tournament help?" Cindy questioned.

"By competing in the Worldwide Supreme Tournament, you'll be able to travel around the entire world with little problems." Justin claimed. "You can gather intel and check around possible areas they could be placed in. Also, having you compete in the tournament could lure out the Black Ace, or anyone who does have one of those cards. Whoever has one will be tempted to use it and might want to compete themselves. The tournament will be filled with many duelists aiming to be the best."

"This sounds perfect! We wanted to compete, but couldn't figure out how!" Yukina said.

"Hold on. Ever team needs some sort of sponsor." Felix said. "The WDA are the ones funding this tournament. Can you really sponsor a team? Isn't that favoritism?"

"You're right about that Felix. The WDA can't fund competing teams. We have to remain neutral." Justin said. "That's why I found a sponsor for you." He said as he pressed a button on the intercom and let someone else in. They were all surprised to see it was Hank. "Celestial Duel agreed to be the sponsor."

"Felix..." Hank said with shame over what he did.

"No way! Forget it!" Felix said. "Hank and I have history, and after what I just found out, there's no way!"

"I'm well aware. I've been informed on what went on between the two of you." Justin said. "I cleared things over with the authorities and have taken responsibility for this. Think of what he's doing here as atonement for what he did." That's how Justin put it, but Felix didn't like it.

"Felix, I know you can't forgive me, but I'm hoping this can at least be a start to make amends." Hank said. "Let me sponsor your team for this tournament. Just simply ask what Bryce would think." Felix didn't like this, but if Bryce knew the circumstances with the Malicious Fiends, he might understood. At least that's what Felix believed.

"Who would even make our team? Isn't each one comprised of three duelists?" Cindy questioned.

"That's right, and we'll need the best." Justin said. "After looking over what we have on each of you, I believe the three that should make the team are Yukina, Cray, and Felix. You three are the best out of those here. If you form the team, you would surely have the best chance of winning."

"But what about Cindy and Kent?" Yukina questioned.

"We can have them be part of the team. We can have them labeled as substitute members." Sabaro said. "That means that if anything were to happen to the three of you, one of them can step in."

"Well, it all sounds good to me. What do the rest of you think?" Yukina questioned.

"Well, it does make sense that you three be the ones to make the team." Cindy said. "I think it's all a great idea."

"With Cray on the team, there's no way we can lose. We get to travel the world and take part in great battles." Kent said. "The whole thing with the Malicious Fiends is important, too. We can't pass this opportunity."

"I don't like that Hank is going to be our sponsor, but if you're really okay with this, Yukina, I'll go along with it." Felix said.

"So it's agreed. If we even win this tournament, we could be considered the best of the best." Yukina said as they all liked the sound of that. Not only is the biggest dueling corporation asking for their help, but they have a chance to compete in the biggest tournament in the whole world. They feel like they're going to be on top of the world. "Stopping the Malicious Fiends is important, but a tournament around the world. There's just no way we can pass this." It seemed like they were all in agreement as their own little team was formed.

"Hold it!" Cray said as he interjected. "You've got the wrong guy. I have no interest in joining this team." He said as he just turned away and walked out of there.

"Cray! What are you saying?!" Yukina said.

"Don't get me wrong. A tournament happening all over the world? No way I'm passing that opportunity." Cray said. "I'm just going to be part of a different team."

"But why?" Yukina questioned.

"Because there's only one person in the whole world I really want to beat, and it's you, Yukina!" Cray claimed as he faced her. "I can't do that if we're on the same team!"

"Cray, what about the Malicious Fiends?!" Sabaro claimed.

"So what? They're just another set of cards to me, another challenge that I will beat." Cray claimed. "I'm going to take part in this tournament, but I'm going to find a different team to be a part of." Cray is making it clear the only one in the whole world he wants to beat is Yukina. Nothing else seems to matter. That's why he turned away and left the office.

"Cray, wait! I'll go with you and we'll start our own team!" Kent called as he wanted to go after him.

"Kent, stop!" Sabaro called and got Kent to stop. "We chose each of you for a reason. We can't have two of you break away. I thought Cray would be a wildcard, but still... He's aware of how dangerous those cards and is just choosing to ignore them? He just sees them as another challenge?"

"I'm a little surprised. I didn't expect him to say no." Justin said. Cray's little claim left quite an impact on everyone else.

"I can't believe Cray would just say no." Cindy said.

"It is understandable. Cray's goal is to beat Yukina." Felix said. Cray's a powerful duelist and would have been a great addition to the team, but his pride and desire to beat Yukina is more important to him.

"So what do we do? Do we just let Kent or Cindy be an official member of the team instead?" Sabaro said. Justin had to think about that for a moment.

"Wait just a minute!" They were all surprised to see a ceiling tile bust down and Marcus ended up being the one to jump right out of it. "You've got me! The number one duelist in the entire world! You don't even need anyone else! Let me be a part of this team! I'll be the one to lead us all to victory!" This guy just doesn't know when to quit.
