"Quick! Put her in here!" Felix said as the team rushed into their room and placed Yukina down so that she can rest. Her last duel against Cray was a fierce one, and it ended up with her winning. However, she ended up collapsing once it was all over.
"Is she okay?!" Marcus questioned.
"I believe so. That duel was intense, but I think she's just exhausted." Felix said. "We just need to give her time to recover. Thanks to Yukina, we're now tied with Team Storm with one win each. That means we still have a chance to win this." Yukina put up a great effort and was able to beat Cray, but now there's no telling what will happen since Team Storm has now suffered a defeat in the tournament.
"That was one fierce duel! Be sure to admire and respect Yukina and Cray for they are true duelists! They gave it their all in that duel, so much that Yukina actually collapsed from it!" M.C. announced with both teams listening. "Team Storm has actually suffered their first defeat in the tournament. That means that both teams are tied with one win. In order to decide who is advancing in the tournament, it all comes down to the next match! One of these two duelists have to win it for their team: Hungwe vs. Felix!" The next match has been announced and it really got to both duelists.
"What do we do? What's this Hungwe like?" Kent questioned.
"Don't know. He hasn't partaken in any duels up until now." Marcus said.
"But he must be strong. No way Cray would allow someone he thought was weak to be on his team." Kent said.
"Sorry, Felix. You're going in completely blind. We don't know anything about Hungwe." Cindy said.
"Can you handle that?" Marcus questioned.
"I have to." Felix said as he knows he has to be ready for anything. 'It's all on me now. I've got to win against Hungwe if we want to stay in the tournament. I have to win, but I can't let what happened before happen again.' It's all on Felix to win this, but can he keep himself under control.
...
Team Storm
"So, it's all up to me now." Hungwe said as he stared down at his deck. "If I win, we're still in the tournament."
"Hungwe, you look a little nervous." Sima said.
"I am a little. It's my first duel in the tournament, and it's one where we could stay in or get tossed out." Hungwe said. "I'm a little worried I might not win. This Team Mystic has surely proven to be strong. Cray, what do you think?"
"Who cares?" Cray said as he didn't seem to. "I lost to Yukina, so I don't care what happens in this tournament now." Not what they wanted to hear, but beating Yukina is the only reason Cray competed in the tournament. Now it's all over.
"Well, I still want to stay in the tournament, but don't be nervous." Sima said. "They don't know about your little trick, and it's not against the rules. As long as you have that going for you, you'll do just fine. As long as you're able to do what you do, Hungwe, you'll win." Hungwe is a complete mystery in dueling. What could he have that has Sima confident when Hungwe isn't?
...
The Duel Field
"It's time! Let's get the third and final match of the battle between Team Storm and Team Mystic going!" M.C. announced with everyone cheering because this is the most important battle for both teams. Cindy stayed behind to watch Yukina, but the others went on ahead with Felix going out on the field. "Here's the great beast of gladiators: Felix!"
"Go, Felix!" Tony called.
"Felix is such a hottie! He deserves to win just for that!" Tina said.
"Win this, Felix!" Anne cheered. Everyone wants Felix to win this, but he's trying to keep his composure.
"His opponent is making his debut in the Worldwide Supreme Tournament since Cray and Sima won all their matches. Here's Hungwe!" M.C. announced. Hungwe walked out on the field and readied himself for whatever happens.
'I have to win this, but I have to be sure to keep calm.' Felix thought as he's hoping he can do just that.
"I know you might not care about the tournament anymore, but at least you came out to support Hungwe." Sima said as he and Cray were watching, but Cray just brushed the comment aside.
"Whenever you two are ready!" M.C. announced as he was set to go.
"Let's duel!" Both of them said as they could now get started on this important match.
"Allow me to make the first move." Hungwe said as he went first. "I'll start by placing two cards facedown." He said as he played those cards. "Then, I'm activating the Card Destruction spell! With this spell, we both have to discard all the cards in our hands and draw that same number of cards." Hungwe and Felix did just that with one of the cards Felix discarding was his Reinforcements trap. Once they drew their next set of cards, Hungwe was starting to feel good. "Perfect! I'm summoning my Trick Clown to the field!" He summoned out a jester dressed in pink and yellow clothes with it holding a question mark sign to its face. It also only had 100atk points.
"What's this? Hungwe summoned a rather weak monster."
"Next, I'm activating my Quiz Guessing continuous spell!" Hungwe said. "With this spell, I guess the name of a card in your graveyard. If I get it right, you lose 500LP. If I'm wrong, I'll take the damage."
"You mean you have to guess the name of a card in my graveyard?" Felix questioned.
"But Felix hasn't played any cards." Kent said.
"There's no way he'll get any of them." Marcus said.
"My guess is that one of the cards in your graveyard is...the Reinforcements trap!" Hungwe said. Felix was surprised that Hungwe got it right. "I can see that I'm right. That means you lose 500LP." Felix got zapped with his life points dropping to 3500.
"How did he get that right?" Felix questioned.
"Looks like Hungwe made a lucky guess and it paid off. Felix has already taken some damage."
'It's already in motion. By the time they figure out what's going on, it will be too late.' Sima thought as it seems like their little strategy is already working.
"I end my turn. It's your move, Felix." Hungwe said.
"My turn!" Felix said as he drew his next card. 'He's up to something, but I can't figure out what it is. I don't know how he did that with his spell, but that Trick Clown must have some useful ability. That's the only reason he summoned it. I better play it safe until I can figure him out.' He thought as he can't afford to be reckless. "I'll start by summoning Gladiator Beast Torax to the field!" He summoned out a gladiator looking like a blowfish and had 1400atk points. "Let's see what you're hiding! Torax, attack his Trick Clown!" He said with his monster going on the offense.
"Wait just one minute!" Hungwe called. "When you attack my Trick Clown, it's special ability makes you discard one card from your deck to the graveyard."
"That's it?" Felix said as he discarded his card and it ended up being Laquari.
"But it does trigger my continuous trap!" Hungwe called as he activated it. "I activate Incorrect! I can activate this trap since you discarded a card to the graveyard during the battle phase! Now, I have to guess if it was a monster, spell, or trap! If I'm right, your attack is blocked! The card you discarded was a monster, more specfically, it's your Gladiator Beast Laquari!"
"No way!" Felix said as he couldn't believe he got it right. With that, Torax's attack was blocked and did nothing. "How did he get it right again?"
"And now I'm activating my second face-down!" Hungwe said. "I activate Necro Quiz! With this continuous trap, you get to select one card that's in your graveyard. I have to guess the identity of that card. If I'm right, you lose 500LP and it goes back in your graveyard. If I'm wrong, you get to add that card to your hand."
"There's no way he'll get it this time!" Marcus said. Felix selected Laquari and waited for the answer.
"That card is Gladiator Beast Laquari!" Hungwe said.
"You've got to be kidding!" Felix said as Hungwe was right again with Felix taking damage and his life points dropping to 3000.
"This is not good for Felix! Hungwe is somehow dealing damage just by guessing!"
"How did right three times in a row?!" Kent questioned. This is already shaping bad for Felix, but there's not much he can do at the moment.
"I'll just end my turn." Felix said.
"My turn!" Hungwe said as he draw his next card. "I'll activate the effects of my Quiz Guessing, but I already know a couple cards in your graveyard. I'll pick your Laquari again!" That one was easy with Felix taking some damage again and he now has 2500LP. "I'll end my turn with just that."
"Hungwe made a quick turn, but he still managed to deal damage to Felix. Can Felix turn this in his favor?"
"My turn!" Felix said as he fought on. "No more fooling around! I activate Gladiator's Return! By returning three Gladiator Beasts in my graveyard to my deck, I can draw one more card!" He took Laquari and two others that were in his graveyard and placed them back in his deck for him to draw another card. "Next, I summon Gladiator Beast Andal to the field!" Felix brought out Andal with it having 1900atk points.
"Felix is unleashing the wild now with him summoning one mean looking bear!"
"Andal, attack!" Felix ordered as his bear charged right in.
"Don't forget that my Trick Clown forces you to discard another card from your deck!" Hungwe said. Felix had no choice. He had to discard the card. "That triggers my Incorrect! The card you discarded was your spell!" He was right again, and that meant that Felix's attack was stopped. "Try as hard as you like, but my combo won't let me down."
"He's... He's right! Until I can figure out how he's getting all his guesses right, I can't attack!" Felix said, but being unable to attack means he can't switch his monsters or deal any damage.
"And I think now would be a good time to activate my Necro Quiz! Make your pick!" Hungwe said. Felix took one of the cards in his graveyard and hoped Hungwe wouldn't get it right. "It's your Gladiator's Comeback spell!" He got it right again and Felix took even more damage with his life points dropping to 2000. This wasn't shaping good for Felix at all.
"How is he doing that?! How is he getting all his guesses right?!" Kent said.
"There has to be some sort of trick. He must be somehow seeing what's in Felix's hand." Marcus claimed. "He's got to be cheating."
"No way. Cray would never allow someone that cheats to be on his team." Kent said. "Besides, we can't accuse him of that without proof."
"But how else is he doing it?" Marcus questioned. "If this keeps up, Felix won't last a couple more rounds!"
"My turn!" Hungwe said as he drew his next card. "I activate my Tremendous Fire spell! Sure, I'll lose 500LP, but you will lose 1000LP." Hungwe said as a blaze of fire burned through both of them, but Felix took the worst of it. Hungwe's life points dropped to 3500 while Felix's dropped to to 1000. "Next, I activate my Quiz Guessing again! One of the cards in you graveyard is the one you were forced to discard: Magical Mallet!" Felix took even more damage as he now has only 500LP left. Everyone was afraid Felix is about to lose his duel. If he can't turn this around soon, it's all over for him.
"I don't get it!" Felix shouted. "How are you able to know what's in my graveyard when I haven't played those cards?!"
"I think it's time we let them in on your little trick, Hungwe." Cray said. "You see, the truth strength of Hungwe isn't in his deck, but in his eyes!"
"His eyes?!" Felix questioned.
"Hungwe was born with incredible eyes. As a result, his eyesight is much stronger than the average person, especially since he was born in the Savanah." Sima said. "When you send a card to the graveyard, the card is faceup. It might only be for a few seconds, but Hungwe is able to see enough to know what cards are in your graveyard. So, Hungwe built a deck around the use of his incredible eyes."
"So that's it!" Felix said as he got it. "Even from this distance, with everything else on the field, and only for a few seconds, he's able to see my cards just as they're about to go to the graveyard!"
"And we're not breaking any rules." Sima said. "Hungwe just pays closer attention than most people. It's just his natural eyesight. Well, natural to him at least. I'm afraid you've also realized this too late. One more turn and you're finished."
"And that will be soon. I end my turn." Hungwe said.
"So the guy is just able to see all of that?!" Marcus said.
"I guess so, and Felix can't do much about that! Unless he can break that combo, there's no way Felix can win!" Kent said.
"I can't win?" Felix questioned. That was when something began to pulsate through him. 'If I can't win, we can't move on in the tournament. Our mission will come to an end. It will be my fault. I have to win. I must win.' He thought. Then, a darkness began to take him over. Some dark power was beginning to grow in him, stronger than it was before. It's just like what happened in his last duel, and he can't stop it. His negative thoughts and emotions were making it grow. "No! No! I have to win! I will win! I must win!" He screamed at the top of his lungs as the darkness erupted around him.
"What's this?!" Hungwe questioned as all of them wondered what was happening for it didn't look good. All of them looked at Felix and wondered what was happening.
"Do not cross me!" Felix shouted as he didn't even act like himself anymore. "My turn!" He shouted as he drew his next card. "Rise, Gladiator Beast Laquari!" He summoned out Laquari, but Laquari was exuding the same darkness with the other monsters getting affected by it. "Now fuse together and destroy everything!" All three of his monsters began to fuse together into a powerful beast.
"Felix, stop!" Marcus called.
"Get a hold of yourself!" Kent called, but Felix couldn't hear them.
"I summon Gladiator Beast Heraklinos!" Felix called as he summoned out a new powerful beast with it having 3000atk points. "I will show you true destruction!" Felix sounded like he was going insane. It was starting to frighten a lot of power. The darkness spread and unleashed power that was wrecking everything.
"What is this?!" Justin questioned.
"I don't know! Felix usually keeps it together!" Sabaro said.
"Cray, what's going on?!" Sima questioned.
"I don't know! He's never acted like this before!" Cray said.
"I now activate Indomitable Gladiator Beast and Battle Gladius!" Felix said. "These two will give my beast a total of 800atk points!" He claimed as Heraklinos now had 3800atk points. When the beast was empowered, it unleashed more terrifying power as shockwaves traveled through the whole field. It even caused the glass of the V.I.P. section to shatter. Justin acted quickly and tried to shield Sabaro.
"Sabaro, are you okay?" Justin asked.
"Yes, but that power... It's just like... It can't be!" Sabaro said as that power felt so familiar. Felix was laughing like a maniac as the whole place was was suffering from some damage.

The Team Room
"Stop, Felix! What's going on with him?!" Cindy questioned as she watched the duel. Yukina was starting to pull herself together and saw what was happening herself. When she saw what was going on, she shot herself awake.
"It's time to disappear! Destroy! Destroy everything, Heraklinos!" Felix ordered as he discarded a card to attack Trick Clown.
"Stop it, Felix!" Yukina called.
...
The Duel
"I... I activate the effects of Incorrect!" Hungwe said as he made a desperate attempt to stop this attack because he's afraid what might happen if he makes contact.
"That won't help! I send one card in my hand to the graveyard to negate the effects and destroy it!" Felix said as he discarded another card. There was nothing Hungwe can do to stop the attack. Heraklinos attacked as it unleashed a devastating blow that caused a large explosion with the force wrecking everything. Hungwe was blown back from the impact and all of his life points dropped to zero. The worst part was that Hungwe looked like he was seriously hurt.
"Hungwe!" Sima called as he hurried to help his teammate.
"What the heck was all that?" Cray questioned. Everyone was wondering the same thing as they were all afraid now.
"The... The winner... The winner is Felix... With two wings, Team Mystic has defeated Team Storm." M.C. announced, but the tournament doesn't seem to matter at this point. It surely didn't feel good that Felix won.
"Felix?" Kent questioned.
"What was all that?" Marcus questioned. Felix just kept laughing, his face twisted and distorted like he was Joker. He kept it up until he passed out. After a match between Cray and Yukina, no one expected this. Instead of cheers, everyone was filled with fear.
...
The Team Room
"Oh man..." Cindy said. She only watched from a monitor, but even she got scared.
"Felix..." That was when Cindy noticed Yukina was up and was trying to stand.
"Yukina! Are you okay?" Cindy said.
"Forget about me. Something is wrong with Felix, and it's only getting worse." Yukina said. She's right about that. What is happening to Felix?
