The time has finally come for Team Mystic to face Team Camelot, their strongest adversaries so far. It's going to be difficult with Felix appearing to be out of commission, but that's why they need a win now. Which is why Marcus is going against Chester for the first match.

"I hope you're ready to lose!" Marcus called.

"You clearly don't seem to know who you are messing with, but you'll learn soon enough." Chester claimed. "Now let's see what you've got." Both of them were starting now as they both had 4000LP. "My country, my move. I'm going first! I'll start by summoning my Dark Vanguard!" He summon out his guardian with it having 1000atk points. "Since I have a dark monster on the field, I'm now able to summon Dark Marauder!" He summoned out a cape figure dressed in black with it wielding dual swords and had 1400atk points. "With that done, I place a face-down to end my turn."

"I remember he played that vanguard when I took him on." Kent claimed. "That thing can block an attack once every turn."

"Let's just hope that Marcus can figure out how to get around it." Yukina claimed as they have to win this first match.

"My turn!" Marcus said as he took his turn and drew a card. "I'll kick this turn off by activating effects of my Blizzard Bell! I just need to send this card to the graveyard and you lose 500LP!" He discarded his card and then the monster came down on Chester and smashed against him like a pile of snow with Chester's life points dropping to 3500.

"Is that all you got?" Chester taunted.

"Not even close!" Marcus claimed. "Say hello to my Windwitch Glass Bell!" He claimed as he brought out Glass Bell with it having 1500atk points. "I now activate her special ability, which allows me to add Freeze Bell to my hand, who I can now summon!" He summoned out his second witch with it having 1200atk points. "Now, I'm tuning my level four Glass Bell with my level three Freeze Bell!" He started the synchro process as his two monsters combined their powers. "I synchro summon Windwitch Winter Bell!" He brought his ace as it flew out with 2400atk points. "You're out of luck now. When Freeze Bell is used in a synchro summon, that monster can no longer be destroyed in battle!"

"It can't?! That means that if Chester even summon his ace, he can't use all of its power!" Kent claimed as this works perfectly for them.

"I'm well aware of your Dark Vanguard's power to block an attack, but I can still use Winter Bell's ability; 200LP of damage for each of Blizzard Bell's level!" Marcus claimed. That's just what he did as Winter Bell unleashed a series of ice attacks and blasted Chester with his life points dropping to 2500!"

"What is this?! Chester appears to be losing!" No one in France liked that.

"Calm down. It's just the prologue before the main event." Chester claimed.

"Keep telling yourself that! For now, I'm just going to place one card facedown to end my turn!" Marcus claimed.

"He's made a good start, but let's hope he can keep it up." Yukina claimed.

"Yeah. The worst is yet to come." Cindy said as they knew this is just the beginning.

"My turn!" Chester said as he drew his next card, and it was his favorite monster. "Time to get serious! I activate my marauder's ability! If I send a spell to the graveyard, I can add a ritual spell to my hand!"

"A ritual spell?! Oh boy. That means he's brining out the big guns." Marcus said as he braced himself for it. Chester discarded his Black Pendant, and then added his Royal Ordeal!

"I now summon my Nether Bug to the field!" Chester said as he brought out his bug with it having 200atk points. "Thanks to my little bug's ability, I can now deal you 300 points of damage for every dark attribute monster I have!" His bug unleashed a sonic buzz that blasted Marcus and caused his life points to drop to 3100. "With that done, I'm activating Royal Ordeal! Thanks to this, I tribute my three monsters with their combine levels exceeding eight!" He offered all three of his monsters as the ritual commenced. "I ritual summon Shadow King Henry!" He summoned out his mighty monster as it rose with 2800atk points.

"There it is! It's Chester's great, dark, and mighty ruler!"

"Go ahead! Just remember that my Winter Bell can't be destroyed in battle!" Marcus reminded.

"That might be, but I can still deal damage! Shadow King Henry, attack!" Chester called. Shadow King Henry attacked Marcus' monster and blasted it with dark magic. She might not have been destroyed, but his life points still dropped to 2700.

"Rather smart of him preventing his monster from being destroyed in battle." Stephanie claimed. "If his monster can't be destroyed, Shadow King Henry can't deal extra damage."

"Perhaps, but it's going to take more than that to protect himself from Chester." Arthur claimed.

"You might have held in this time, but you won't be so lucky next time. With that, I end my turn." Chester claimed.

'It's good I can stop my witch from being destroyed, but she can't beat that thing.' Marcus thought. 'I've got to step it up now or else I'm going to have a real hard time winning this.' "Here goes! My turn!" He drew his next card. He's taking a risk, but he's got to take it. "I'll start by using Winter Bell's ability! You now lose another 1000LP!" He had his witch attack again and blasted Chester with his life points dropping to 1500. "Now, I summon Windwitch Snow Bell!" He summoned out his tuner monster with it having 100atk points. "I now tune my Snow Bell with my Winter Bell!" He started up the synchro process once again. "I synchro summon Windwitch Diamond Bell!" He summoned out Diamond Bell with it having 2800atk points. "With her ability, I can deal even more damage because she can inflict damage equal to half of another witch's attack points! That means you lose life points equal to half of Winter Bell's!" Diamond Bell unleashed a blizzard that blasted against Chester with him now having only 300LP.

"This can't be! Chester is hanging on by a mere thread!" The people of France we're not liking this.

"No worries. It's still not over." Chester claimed as he sounded perfectly calm.

"I don't get it. He doesn't have many life points left, but he's still rather calm." Cindy said.

"He's up to something." Yukina said as she's getting a bad feeling about this.

" it doesn't matter because I'm ending this!" Marcus claimed. "When my Diamond Bell deals damage, I can destroy one of your cards! Your king is about to be dethroned!" His monster unleashed another blizzard that froze Chester's and then caused an explosion. "Got him!"

"I don't think so!" Chester's argued as it was revealed his monster was still standing.

"No way! How?!" Marcus questioned.

"Did you forget I have a face-down?" Chester said as he revealed he had it active. "Dark King's Authority! This prevents my king from being destroyed. I anticipated you would try to destroy my king, but I'm afraid my trap prevents that."

"Darn it!" Marcus complained. 'I was going to have my Icy Breeze Refrain bring back Winter Bell as backup, but now my witch doesn't have the power to beat that thing.' "I've got no choice. I end my turn."

"You put up a good effort, but not good enough." Chester said as he drew his next card. "Perfect. Just the card I need. I'm afraid your chances of winning has just disappeared. I activate Axe of Despair, and despair is all you will feel!" He equipped his king with an axe and it now had 3800atk points.

"Oh no!" Marcus said as Chester was right. His chances of winning just disappeared.

"Henry strike down his Diamond Bell!" Chester said. His king went on the attack. It slashed down on Diamond Bell and destroyed her with Marcus' life points now at 1700. "Don't be so hard on yourself. This couldn't have ended any other way. I activate Shadow King Genry's ability! You now take damage equal to your destroyed monster's attack points!" His dark king unleashed a powerful dark blast that hit him rather hard and caused him to lose the last of his life points.

"It's done! It's all over now! Chester has gained Team Camelot's first win!"

"Marcus!" His team called as they were concerned about him.

"Darn it! I had to win this and I failed!" Marcus complained. He took a risk and it didn't pay off.

...

Felix

Felix was resting in the team room, but he was able to see what happened in the duel.

"Team Mystic is in trouble now. They appear to be down a duelist and now down a win." M.C. announced. "I don't like to call it early, but it might be time to say au revoir to Team Mystic." Not if Felix has anything to say about it. He's got to do what he can to help his team.
