Lori was getting some more praise as the new superhero of Royal Woods, and Patty was in cuffs as she was conscious again. "You may have won this round, Volcano Girl, but the war rages on!" She shouted as she was forced into the back of a police car. "You will pay! Do you hear me! You will PAAAAYY!" Then the door shut, muffling her screaming and yelling.
Then the police car began blaring its siren and it drove away to put crazy Patty in jail, or even prison, depending on how much collateral damage she had caused while trying to viciously kill Lori.
the golf players in the course began clapping and cheering for Lori as she had saved the day from certain doom. Suddenly, a couple of reporters came up to Lori with a few cameramen with them. "Miss, what do they call you?" Asked a female reporter
"Volcano girl." Lori replied proudly.
"You just saved this entire golf course from a crazy teenage girl that was looking for the newest golf champion, Lori Loud. Have you any comments?"
Lori looked nervous about that question, and not wanting to reveal her secret identity to the public like this for safety reasons, she said: "well, honestly, I know her and... she has no idea why this girl wanted to kill her. But I know the identity of this villain."
"And who is it?" Asked a male reporter.
"Patty Putter." Lori replied. "She wanted revenge on Lori Loud for winning against the golf tournament a few days ago."
"Out of my way, out of my way, you vultures!" Said a familiar voice that many people hear on TV all the time during the news. Yes, it was Katherine Mulligan herself. "Make way for a real reporter, ladies and gentlemen! This is my story!"
Immediately, the other reporters and cameramen backed off from the most famous one in town. "Pardon me, Volcano Girl." Said Katherine, "but I heard you say that the new golf-themed villain that just caused a rampage, was former golf champion Patty Putter?"
"Yes." Lori said. "She wanted to kill Lori but I stopped Patty and she is going to jail."
"With all the damage she caused, she'll probably be more like in prison than a regular jail." Katherine modestly said. "But thanks to you, you stopped her from causing any more damage or harm to other innocent people and property. Yes, Volcano Girl, you most certainly are a hero for all of the things you have accomplished as being a superhero. We should have a sit-down or have coffee together some time."
Lori smiled. "Sure, that would be fun."
"This is Katherine Mulligan with the news, signing off." Then the camera was turned off. "The world can always use more people like you, Volcano Girl. Be on the lookout for any robberies, murders, or anything related to crime, because evil never sleeps,"
"Hehe, I heard that before. I will Miss Mulligan."
"Oh please, call me Katherine. I'm not a teacher." Said the reporter. "Ok, Michael, let's pack it up and go get us some smoothies." Just like that, she walked away with her cameraman behind her.
Deep down, Lori felt bad that Patty got hauled away to the stony lonesome, but she also know that Patty brought it upon herself to cause all of that chaos. Perhaps... perhaps she can try and talk to Patty and help her understand that she never meant to hurt her in the first place form the golf tournament.
Although maybe Lori should wait for probably a day or two for Patty to cool off and settle down in prison. After all, she was gaining some positive fame and attention from her peers (even if they don't know Lori's true identity.)
she decided to head home and take it easy for a little while and unwind after all that chaotic craziness that unfolded from his new arch enemy. At home, she was greeted by Charles, the family dog, who was happy to see her and laid on his back for some belly rubs.
"Aw, come here, Charles." Lori smiled as she got on her knees and began rubbing the dog's belly, which he clearly loved. "Yes, you're a good boy, Charles. Yes you are! Yes you are!" Pets really do help calm the nerves of a human being during the most stressful times (as long as one trains them properly).
Just then, Lori hears the sound of Lily crying up in her and Lisa's room, and ran all the way up to the room to check out what's going on."
there was Lily, in her crib and wailing at the top of her lungs. "Lily, what's the matter?" Asked Lori. Lily didn't answer and she just kept crying.
The eldest sister remembered hearing from her mother that sometimes babies cried for no reason at all, and Lori had to be contempt with this kind of matter. Or... did she? An idea came to her head and snapped her fingers as she smiled boldly.
"Oh Lily." She sang. "Take a look of this." The baby sister at least decided to take a look at what the eldest one had to show her. Lori began showing her some cool fire tricks with her hands from her new powers, and slowly, Lily was stopping her wailing.
Yes, Lori was using her hands to create letters with her own fire powers and even did a backflip with two rungs of fire passing through her on different directions.
As expected from Lori, Lily was enjoying this a really good deal. The eldest sister did another backflip and began spinning around like a cyclone made of fire and showed off by conjuring two fireballs from her two hands, making Lily clap and laugh joyfully at this little flame show.
The little spectacle went on for five minutes and Lily was giggling with joy as she was watching this moment. It was a little hard for Lori since she didn't want to accidentally hurt her sisters but she managed to pull though.
"Do you feel better now, Lily?" Lori asked, holding her baby sister.
"Yeah!" The baby replied as she clapped her hands. "Hot hot hot!"
"Glad you literally like it, Lily. Want a snack?"
"Keekee!"
"Ou you mean a cookie?"
"Yeah!"
"Ok, Ok?" Lori chuckled. "I'll take a look and see what's in the fridge. Escorting Lily to the kitchen, and just her luck, there was one chocolate chip cookie left in the fridge and the eldest sister promptly gave it to the youngest one, making Lily even more happy.
"Keekee!" Lily repeating as she began sucking on it like a teething toy. While Lily was enjoying her treat, Lori was thinking on how to approach Patty while she is in prison and how she should talk to her. She felt like it was her fault that many people or property were hurt because of her and not just Patty. Although she never meant for any of this destruction to happen. It was settled: she would wait to hear which prison Patty would be shipped so she can go down there to apologize to her and help her understand that she never meant to have Patty turn out the way she is.
Later on in the day, it was revealed that Patty was shipped off into the Charles Manson federal prison, one of the toughest prisons in the entire state. Patty committed a considerable amount of damage, and she sounded insane enough to be sent to this dangerous place. Lori was just outside the prison entrance, and in her civilian wear and was protected by a couple of tough-looking prison guards just in case something happens like for instance; Lori gets shanked by a crazy inmate.
"Are you sure you want to go in there, little lady?" asked the warden, "This place is one of the most dangerous prisons in all of America. Shouldn't you call Volcano Girl for some protection?"
Lori had a nervous look on her face, worrying that her new secret identity is at risk at being exposed to the general public. Alas, she took a breath to calm herself down and lied by saying: "I promise sir, i'll be just fine. Besides, i got two of your guards protecting me."
"Fair point." said the warden. "Very well, follow me, Miss Loud."
The prison looked a little terrifying, since it housed some of the worst kind of criminals in the state, and Lori was about to meet the newest edition to the dangerous collection of prisoners here. In Cell Block H, there she was, Patty Putter, in orange prison-wear and pouting on her prison bed. As soon as she saw Lori, she gasped and then made a sneering grin. "Well, well, well, look who it is." she casually walked up to the bars of her cell door. "Come to gloat at your victory over me at the golf tournament?"
"No. I literally just want to talk, Patty." Lori replied
"Oh?"
"Yes." To the prison guards, she asked, "can you guys please leave us for a few minutes? I want to talk with her alone."
"Are you sure?" Said the warden. "She is one of the feistiest inmates we have in a long time. She's like a human fire ant."
Lori let out a small chuckle and said: "I'm sure, I'll be fine."
"OK then, but if there's any trouble, don't be afraid to give a holler." The warden pointed. Then he and his guards left the wing, leaving the teenage girl alone with the newest inmate.
"So, what do you want?" Patty crossed her arms, just dying to hear what Lori has to say.
"I just want to say that.. I'm really sorry about the golf tournament." Lori looked slightly ashamed. "I never meant to hurt you at the golf tournament. It was just a competition of friendly sports."
"Oh, you're sorry." Patty sarcastically said with a broad smile. "Well, that makes everything better."
"Look," Lori sighed. "It was just a golf tournament. It wasn't supposed to be like this."
Patty then snarled and replied: "I am what you made me, Lori Loud. Do you know how important winning that tournament was to me? It was my own fifth win in a row until you ruined it! I wanted to make everyone I know proud of me for winning my fifth cup! I could have achieved something only many people in the world can only dream of, being the greatest golf player in the world, someone so good it would put Tiger Woods to shame! And you have crushed my dream of that! Do you have anything to say about that, Lori Loud?! Huh? Do you?!"
Poor Lori was taken aback and realizes that Patty might be a little too insane to be helped. But she wouldn't give up on trying to help Patty. "Patty," said Lori, "I never even want us to be enemies, and i even wanted us to be friends. Like get a drink or a smoothie together."
"Ooh that would be fun." Patty began talking sarcastically some more. "Then we can go to the mall or get a pedicure when i get out of this disgusting rathole."
"Patty-"
"No! We're not friends, Lori. And we never will be friends! You are my sworn enemy, nothing more!" Patty pointed her right finger at her. The new hero of Royal Woods looked surprised by Patty's outburst, and truly realized that Patty could not be saved mentally. Yes, she was too far gone.
Looking sad, and letting out a sigh, Lori said: "OK. I guess there's no way to talk you out of this."
"I will get out of here, Lori Loud, and I will have my revenge on you. Remember that."
Letting out another sigh of defeat, Lori walked away and Patty continued glaring at her as she had her back on her. The warden and the two guards from before were more than happy to escort her out of this prison.
