Rosa slowly opened her eyes as she slowly sat up from bed. She looked around, remembering she was there because Irie was checking on her.
"At least I didn't have another nightmare." Rosa stretched her arms as she slowly got her legs out of bed and stood up.
"Morning, sleepy head." A familiar voice said, making Rosa turn around.
"Shion?" Rosa squinted her eyes.
"Well, I guess it's more afternoon at this point, right?" Shion laughed as she walked closer.
"What in the world are you doing here?" Rosa yawned. "Shouldn't you be in school with everyone else?"
"My break started a few days early, so I came to the clinic to hang out until everyone else was done." Shion smiled. "Then Irie told me he was examining you, so I thought I'd make sure you were okay."
"Really?" Rosa crossed her arms. "You're not here to steal my clothes while I'm asleep, or do something else embarrassing to me?"
"Come on, that was just playing around with you." Shion giggled. "I do that with everyone, and Rena did tell us you were her friend."
"You kids are something else." Rosa sighed before smiling.
"By the way, you look nice in jeans." Shion looked over Rosa's outfit. "My sister picked a great outfit for you."
"Thanks." Rosa smiled. "I'm getting more comfortable wearing different things than I'm used to."
"That's nice." Shion placed her hand on Rosa's shoulder. "By the way, your…"
"If you mention my butt one more time," Rosa glared at Shion as she dropped her smile. "Irie won't be able to fix any of the damage I do to you."
"... I just forgot what I was going to say…" Shion nervously laughed as she slowly backed away a couple of steps.
"Wise choice." Rosa giggled. "So, it looks like we both have a while before we can meet up with your friends."
"Our friends." Shion smiled. "Stop acting like a stranger. You've been our friend since we practically looked at you."
"That's nice to hear." Rosa smiled as she leaned against a wall. "My point is, what should we do til then?"
"Want to get a free soda and talk?" Shion pointed her thumb back to the door.
"I don't mind buying you a soda if that's what you want." Rosa sighed.
"I have a key, though, so we can get free ones." Shion exited the room. "Are you coming or not?"
"Yeah, yeah." Rosa shook her head as she walked out of the room and followed Shion to a vending machine.
Shion got her drink before asking what Rosa wanted. After hearing her choice, Shion got it and handed it to her. They then walked outside and sat on the steps.
"By the way, I wanted to tell you I love your outfit." Rosa smiled. "The white sleeveless sweater and black skirt are a nice combination."
"Thanks." Shion smiled. "That means a lot coming from a design expert like you."
"Don't flatter me." Rosa lightly laughed.
"Hey, that dress you made looked gorgeous." Shion leaned towards her. "I would buy one if I saw it at any store."
"I'll remember that if I can ever get my clothes into a store." Rosa sighed as she took a drink.
"What's the matter?" Shion raised an eyebrow. "Have you tried sending your designs to people?"
"Yes." Rosa sighed. "They told me my clothes are too bland and wouldn't be able to justify putting them on a shelf over their current products."
"Hey, that dress was…"
"A rarity." Rosa frowned. "If you see my regular clothes, they are dark suits and dresses. The white dress was the exception that Rena loved. It was also me trying something new, but most businesses won't speak to me after how disastrous my previous pitches were."
"Oh, I'm sorry." Shion frowned.
"Don't be." Rosa was still looking down. "It was my own mistake. All I can do is hope I can find a way to fix it."
"Maybe open your own business." Shion smiled. "I promise I'll work for you if it means we can make your outfits successful."
"As nice as that would be," Rosa lightly laughed. "It takes more than two people and one dress to start a clothing business."
"You're right." Shion leaned up to Rosa's ear. "We'll get Keiichi to do all the work for free as a punishment."
Rosa let out a huge laugh as she placed a hand on her head. This was the hardest anyone got her to laugh in a long time.
"Well, that would make things a little easier." Rosa tried to catch her breath.
"Honestly, though, I'm sure everyone would want to help you with your dream if you wanted to open your own business." Shion took her hand off Rosa's shoulder and took a drink.
"That's nice of all of you." Rosa smiled. "Still, we'd need to actually sell dresses even to have a hope of starting a business."
"What about doing something small?" Shion suggested. "Maybe I could convince my family to let your dresses appear at your store and try to get people interested in them."
"You think your family would go for it?" Rosa raised an eyebrow
"I'm sure Mion and I could talk them into it." Shion smiled. "They'd probably love that dress if they saw it."
"Actually, I had an idea for something else I think girls would like." Rosa took another drink.
"Another dress idea?" Shion raised an eyebrow.
"It came to me after I woke up," Rosa explained. "I'll probably draw it later so I can show you what,"
"Hold that thought!" Shion stood up and ran back inside, leaving Rosa confused. After a few minutes, Shion returned with a clipboard, some blank papers, and a pencil. "Draw it before you forget it!"
"Shion, I never forget my ideas." Rosa giggled as she took the clipboard. "But if you're that curious, I'll show you what it is."
"Yes, I'm curious, so draw it." Shion giggled as she pointed at the clipboard in Rosa's hands.
"Fine, I'll get started then." Rosa put the pencil on paper and started drawing her vision.
