Lopunny struggled to her feet, her body shaking yet she defiantly stood like a gladiator. Infernape helped her to her feet and asked,

"The hell's going on?!" Lopunny glanced up at the fire type,

"Druddigon's here. He's way stronger than before." She elaborated. She cracked her knuckles and giggled, "I've been waiting for a chance to try out these new moves!"

Several yells echoed from the halls of the building, attracting Infernape and Lopunny's attention. Druddigon burst from a wall in front of the two. He looked around and grinned once he saw the two,

"There you are, Monkey." he remarked. Infernape and Lopunny got into a fighting stance and faced down the opponent.

Lopunny charged full steam ahead with a drop kick. Flying towards him like a fastball. Druddigon dodged the attack and grabbed her by the ears. She screamed as her ears were crushed under the dragon type's ferocious grip. He threw the ice hybrid down the hall, into a wall. Infernape jumped onto the fire type as Druddigon punched at him. He crawled around on his arm and aimed his hand at the dragon's face.

A burst of fire exploded in Druddigon's face, sending Infernape soaring back. He landed on the wall, using melting point to sink slightly into the wall. He waited until he could see Druddigon before bursting towards him.

Druddigon had to pat down fire as he was burned. Occasional small fires manifested on him, signifying his burned status. Once the smoke cleared. Druddigon saw the fire type flying towards him. He grabbed the fire type by the arm and slammed him into the floor. Infernape gritted his teeth and activated Melting Point.

Druddigon screamed in pain as his hand smoked. He let got of the fire type and gripped his wrist and glared at Infernape, "

What was that?!" he yelled. Infernape smirked at the dragon type,

"I call it Melting Point!" Infernape then ran towards Druddigon, igniting his hands. Druddigon punched at him, hitting the ground in the process. Infernape jumped over the fist, shot flames out of his elbow and spun around to amplify the power before the strike.

Upon impact, Druddigon was thrown into the wall. Infernape landed in front of the dragon and took a moment to admire his improvements. "COME ON!" Someone yelled. Infernape turned around to see a very unamused Lopunny tapping her feet against the floor. "I'm gone for five seconds and you steal my fight." she complained.

Infernape burst into a laughing fit, much to the hybrid's dismay. She tried to convince him that her complaints were valid but he was too hysterical. Once he finally calmed down enough to speak, he mocked,

"That's what you're worried about." Lopunny crossed her arms and looked away from the fire type,

"I mean, yeah I care about you. But the fight could've been so fun."

Something fell through the ceiling next to them. The two turned quickly and that whoever fell had gone through the floor.

Druddigon burst from the wall and grabbed Infernape and Lopunny and slammed them into the wall. He took a moment to gloat before he dragged Infernape onto the ground and up into the ceiling. Infernape burst through the ceiling like a rock. Lopunny gritted her teeth and froze Druddigon's hand. He yelled in pain as Lopunny kicked his elbow, freeing her. Once she had escaped the dragon's grasp. She coated herself in ice and prepared for a duel.

As soon as Infernape went through the ceiling, he saw Bisharp to his left. He was prepared to engage the dark type when something blasted him from behind. He flew back and was grabbed by what he assumed to be Bisharp and thrown around in a half circle into the floor.

Infernape spat blood upon impact. His back seared in pain like a burn. His vision went blurry, seeing double. His head was in utter agony, ringing and pulsing in pain. It made a migraine feel like a light breeze in comparison. He could barely think, his mind overloaded. A female voice cried out, "INFERNAPE?! I'M-I'M SORRY!" He moved his head slowly and painfully up and saw Gardevoir with her hands over her mouth in horror. His vision began to fade out as he drifted out of consciousness.

Gardevoir and Garchomp were focused on the fight with Bisharp. Some members of the cult had broken into the building. How they got past everyone else, they didn't know. Regardless, Gardevoir decided to bluff Bisharp into a retreat while he fought against Garchomp. She charged a psychic attack, hoping that Bisharp's judgment would be clouded in the heat of combat, forcing his attention away from Garchomp. What she didn't expect was the moment she fired the blast, Infernape was catapulted through the floor right in the way. The psychic blast slammed into his back like a missile, throwing him into Bisharps hand, who threw him into the ground.

Gardevoir was horrified, "INFERNAPE?! I'M-I'M SORRY!" She screamed. Garchomp immediately pulled Infernape onto her back before Bisharp could add to Infernape's suffering. Bisharp smirked at the psychic type and lunged at her. Garchomp rushed to protect Gardevoir. Infernape regained consciousness and caught a glimpse of what was going on before falling unconscious again.

Garchomp slashed at Bisharp with her claws, tearing into the metal gauntlets that were his wrists. Bisharp backhanded the dragon type and fired a dark type beam into her. She stepped back as Bisharp slashed at her. Attack after attack barraging her guard. Infernape woke up again and saw the onslaught and, wanting to help in some capacity, shot a fireball at the steel type.

Bisharp cut the fire in half and he lunged at Garchomp. Infernape felt himself being pulled off of her by vines. He looked back and saw Liligant pulling him towards her. He relaxed as he was placed on the floor. Liligant got onto her knees and placed her hands on the floor. The hallway plants around her grew their roots, sending them towards Infernape. Liligant warned that, "This will hurt but it will heal thy wounds." The roots then dug into Infernape's arms, only past the skin but it still hurt like thorns.

He felt the pain soon disappear and the roots left him. He sat up and thanked the grass type, who bowed in response. Infernape ran towards the fight and grabbed a potted plant by its wooden stem. He jumped over Garchomp and smacked Bisharp with the glass vase.

Bisharp stumbled back as Infernape ran towards the dark type, his hand raised and surrounded in flames. The dark type knew that he was at a serious disadvantage. He saw that he was next to a door and smiled darkly. He grabbed the handle as Infernape approached and slammed the door in his face, literally. Bisharp kicked the door, throwing both door and Pokémon down the hall.

Garchomp caught the fire type and threw him back at the dark type. Infernape flew towards Bisharp, who saw the fighting type and got ready to counter it.

Several vines restrained him, wrapping around his hands, legs and waist. Moments before he was struck, he saw that Liligant was the one who ensured him. Upon impact, Bisharp collapsed onto the floor. He looked like a rag doll as his back smacked into the concrete floor. The dark type looked up to see Infernape standing over him. Infernape grabbed Bisharp by the scruff of his collar and yelled in his face,

"What are you doing here?!"

Bisharp chuckled in Infernape's face,

"What do you think?" Gardevoir stepped towards the dark type,

"Answer the question!" she scolded. Bisharp began to laugh at the four. His cackles echoed through the halls of the building, sending shivers down the spines of everyone watching. Darkness suddenly enveloped the hall. Infernape felt Bisharp pry himself from his grip. Gardevoir then yelped as light returned like a flood.

Bisharp held Gardevoir by the throat. "Don't move or she dies!" He yelled violently, threatening to bleed her out here. Everyone was frozen in place, this wasn't a situation to call Bisharp's bluff. Garchomp in particular saw red, "You coward! You know you couldn't win!" Bisharp smirked at the dragon type, "Oh, are you mad, bitch?! What'cha gonna do about it?" he mocked. Garchomp took a step forward and Bisharp's grip tightened. Not enough to kill her but enough to force the air out of Gardevoir's lungs.

Gardevoir fought against the dark type's harsh grip but to no avail. Not only was he stronger but the type advantage meant that there was nothing that she could do. She prayed that someone would come from behind and save her. She asked Bisharp, "Why-Why are you doing this? It's metaphorical suicide." Bisharp laughed at the psychic type.

"It would be rude to kill a family without the elder daughter." Gardevoir froze in place, "N-No! You're lying! They're hidden under the protection of dozens of Senshi!" Bisharp looked down and smirked at her,

"All of that is for nothing when you are friends with a hypnotist. Now, I'm going to leave with her and-"

He gasped in pain as Lopunny stabbed him in the back with an icicle. Gardevoir took the chance to pry herself away from Bisharp. Lopunny then grabbed him and threw him over her shoulder and onto the floor. She pinned him onto the ground with the ferocity of a tiger. Infernape saw that she was bleeding, the fur on her cheek and hips were stained red.

Lopunny, once she got free, coated herself with ice. She knew that Blastoise had her mega stone but that soon faded into the back of her mind as excitement drowned it out. She burst towards the dragon type and swiped her leg at him, emitting mist at the same time. Druddigon tried to catch her again, however Lopunny was ready. A wall of ice stopped Druddigon from in his tracks, his hand smacking into at an awkward angle.

He yelled in pain as he jammed all five of his fingers. They all throbbed in agony, only added upon by the impact of Lopunny's frozen attack. Her leg crashed into Druddigon side with a loud bang like a gunshot. Pieces of ice embedded themselves in the dragon type's side. He yelled in pain and swiped at the ice type, who disappeared into the mist. Druddigon looked around, trying desperately to find her.

He was smacked in the face by something that he couldn't visually identify but he knew it was Lopunny. He threw a punch wildly at the direction the force came from and hit nothing. He looked around frantically. It was like trying to find a needle in a pile of needles, only that needle was jumping all over the goddamn place. Druddigon looked around for any sign of the rabbit but no luck. He gritted his teeth. He wanted to save this technique for another fight but he had no choice now. He glowed blue and yellow as the mist began to swirl around him. Charging this power like an electrical grid, he smirked. This was his ace in the hole.

A large pulse of blue and yellow energy burst from him, shooting out in a circle which cleared the mist. Lopunny was thrown back into a wall. She was gasping for breath. Druddigon burst from the spot and grabbed Lopunny by the head, slamming her into the wall again, before dragging her down the hall. Plowing through doorways and pillars, Druddigon was inflicting devastating damage on the ice type.

Lopunny was thrown down the hallway, crashing into a glass barrier. She screamed as the glass stabbed into her hips. She gritted her teeth as she landed on a staircase. She looked down and saw what appeared to be utter bedlam in the floors below her. Dozens of fights were occuring. Senshi dueling with unseen opponents as civilians and staff ran for the hills.

Lopunny stared daggers at the dragon type as she asked violently, "What have you done?!" Druddigon looked down at the floors below, "Bisharp bought some mercs. They seem to be pulling their weight." he remarked, "Anyway. I'm here to fight." The ice type looked around for Blastoise so she could grab her mega stone but alas, she couldn't see him from her position. She still hadn't cracked how to activate her second form. She stood up, falling to her knees for a second, before staring down the dragon type.

Lopunny started jumping from wall to wall, her shape turned into a blur as she picked up speed. Druddigon smirked as he raised his hand and grabbed the ice type out of the air. She struggled against his grip as she watched in horror as his shoulder ignited. The fire slowly trailed up to his arm as Lopunny fought harder and harder against him.

Someone kicked the dragon in the face. The sound was like a shotgun, a loud and powerful crack. Lopunny fell to the floor as she saw a certain bug type Pokémon assaulting the dragon. Beedrill, despite his incredibly thin bug legs, was kicking Druddigon with the force of a train. Druddigon was forced into a wall when Beedrill yelled at the ice type, "I'll deal with Long John Shitheel over here! You met up with your friends!" Lopunny nodded and ran up the stairs, where she saw Bisharp holding Gardevoir hostage. She knew what she had to do.

After stabbing him with an icicle, she pinned him onto the ground with the ferocity of a tiger. Infernape saw that she was bleeding, the fur on her cheek and hips were stained red. He ran over to her and asked what happened and the ice type explained everything in a scattershot manner.

Gardevoir grabbed the dark type and roared in his face, "Where are my family?! WHERE ARE THEY?!" The others watched on in surprise and horror. None of them had seen Gardevoir this viscerally angry before. Her eyes held the vivid fury that was not to be trifled with. Bisharp smirked right in her face,

"Wouldn't you like to know?" Gardevoir slapped him across the face and demanded answers. Bisharp started laughing in her face, "How should I know? I'm not there!" He then abruptly embraced the psychic type. Her anger subsided in surprise at the move as the dark type remarked, "See you in your nightmares!"

He revealed a large yellow crystal and threw it straight up into the air. Beams of light then began to burst from him as Lopunny realized what was happening. She screamed at everyone,

"GET DOWN!" and pulled Infernape away. Liligant summoned a large wood barrier to protect herself. Garchomp tried to pull Gardevoir away from Bisharp, prying them apart with all of her might. She separated the two and used her body to block the incoming blast.

Bisharp exploded in a massive plume of yellow fire. The flames incinerated the concrete and glass of the building. A shockwave ripped through the halls, the group could feel their bones rattle. Three floors were destroyed by the blast. Bisharp's limp body fell from his position, coated in ash. He landed with a loud thud on the remains of the floor below. The yellow crystal then landed directly on top of him. He glowed yellow again and rose to his feet. He looked around with a gleeful grin as he turned around to see Malamar had teleported behind him.

"Are we ready to go?" he asked, fully healed from his injuries. The psychic type grinned maniacally,

"Yes, we just need to find Druddigon." Just as he finished his sentence, the dragon type was sent careening through a wall, landing in front of the two. He was battered quite badly. One of his eyes was swollen shut.

Beedrill flew towards them like a bat out of hell. The bug type prepared his stingers to stab at the cult members. Malamar tried to teleport the cult away but Beedrill got to them first. His stingers hit Bisharp and Malamar like a truck, throwing them into the wall.

Infernape and the others awoke, pain searing on every part of their bodies. Thanks to Lopunny's quick movements, the two were the least injured. Liligant's barrier had helped protect her from the blast but the debris got to her, cutting her all over. Garchomp shivered as her back had been severally burned. It took everything she had not to scream out in agony.

It was at this moment that Sceptile, Blastoise, Aggron and Ampharos ran into the hall. The electric type screamed in horror as he saw the results of Bisharp's ace in the hole. He fell back as everyone got their bearings, "What happened?!" He asked desperately. Infernape stood up, barely able to hear what Ampharos said through the ringing in his ears. He shook in the spot but he looked at the electric type and told him,

"Bisharp. He-He blew up. They took Gardevoir's family."

Their attention was then brought to the fight between the cult members and Beedrill. Ampharos saw Malamar trying to avoid the fight. He began to think about how they were going to leave. Even if most of the Senshi were defeated, they couldn't just walk away. Their only option was to…

Ampharos looked at the group and gulped. He turned on his WristOn and turned to the others, "See you soon, hopefully." He then sprinted full speed at the cult. Infernape reached out to stop him, "Amp! Wait!" he yelled out. The electric type ignored him as he burst towards Malamar, whom had finally threw Beedrill into a wall, temporarily slowing him down so they could teleport to safety.

Ampharos's mind was screaming at him to stop, to stay behind and just hope that they could find them but time wasn't on their side. If they found Gardevoir's family, then it was only a matter of time before the world was sent to an eternal slumber. Ampharos noticed a single tear run down his cheek. This might be the last time he saw his friends again. He gritted his teeth as he ran towards the psychic type. He leapt towards Malamar with great force. He wrapped his arms around Malamar's neck just as he and the rest of the cult teleported away.
