"Dang it." Rena frowned as she continued walking. "We didn't find anything good tonight."

"I'm sure we'll have better luck next time." Keiichi smiled as he pat Rena on the back.

They went treasure hunting like they told Rosa and had no luck finding anything Rena wanted. Since it was now night, Keiichi convinced her they should return another day.

"I was hoping to find something cute to give to Maria." Rena looked down. "She'd probably like her own treasures someday."

"Rena, Maria is only a year old." Keiichi sighed. "You should worry about that when she's old enough to know about all that."

"You're so mean," Rena whined as she looked away from him.

"I'm sure Maria would love to go treasure hunting with her big sis Rena someday." Keiichi laughed.

"Stop it already," Rena whined even louder, covering her face. "That's so embarrassing!"

"Oh, come on. We know you'd like it if Rosa and Maria were like a second family." Keiichi smiled. "I think it's cute that you…"

"Stop being so mean!" Rena shoved Keiichi away, still not looking at him. She didn't realize they were next to the edge of a hill, and she pushed him hard enough to force him down.

"Help!" Keiichi yelled before disappearing into the darkness as Rena looked down at it.

"Keiichi!" Rena screamed as she slowly made her way down. "Don't worry, I'm coming!"

(back to the present)

"Poor Keiichi fell so far it took about 10 minutes to get down there." Rena frowned, still standing.

"Good lord." Rosa's eyes were wide. "Is he okay?"

"Yeah, he's fine." Rena sighed. "When I found him, he was just on the ground saying his body hurt. I helped him up and helped get him back home."

"Geez, what are we going to do with you?" Satoko shook her head with her arms crossed.

"At least Keiichi is fine." Rika smiled.

"Yeah, thankfully." Rosa sighed. "You kids need to be more careful. If both of you had gotten hurt, you would still be out somewhere, and we wouldn't know."

Rena kept frowning as she looked down. She didn't mean for Keiichi to get hurt, but she didn't think about what would have happened if she had gotten hurt trying to help Keiichi. As Rena thought about that, Maria frowned while trying to reach for Rena. However, Rena didn't seem to notice her now.

"Rena?" Satoko now stood up, watching the girl in question standing there. "Are you,"

"Let me." Rosa placed her hand on Satoko's shoulder before walking over to Rena. She tapped her on the shoulder, trying to get her attention. "Rena, are you okay?"

Rena stayed quiet as Maria looked ready to cry. However, Rosa placed her hand on Maria's head to comfort her. Thankfully, Maria started to calm down.

"Rena," Rosa used her other hand to make Rena turn her head to look at her. "I'm not being mean when saying that. I just want to know you're safe. I care about you and everyone else and want to ensure you're not in danger."

Rena just nodded as Rosa continued. She was too scared to say anything.

"Plus, Maria would be scared if you disappeared too." Rosa smiled as she pointed at her daughter, still in Rena's arms.

"Rena…" Maria softly said as she and Rena looked at each other.

"I'm sorry…" Rena sighed before smiling. "I didn't mean to make you worried.

"It's fine." Rosa giggled. "Just be a little more careful, okay?"

"I will." Rena giggled as she returned to playing with Maria, who was smiling again.

"For the record, that goes for all of you." Rosa turned to Satoko and Rika. "I'd also say this to Shion and Mion if they were here too."

"What if Keiichi was here?" Rika raised an eyebrow.

"I'd knock him out before he saw me like this." Rosa giggled

"Oh ho ho ho!" Satoko laughed. "That's a good answer!"

"Your mom can be scary, scary." Rena looked down and smiled at Maria, who smiled back. "She's also kyute while being scary."

"Hey, that reminds me," Satoko said, grabbing everyone's attention. "Where do you think Mion and Shion are?"

"I didn't think about that." Rena looked from Satoko to Rosa. "Didn't Mion tell you something yesterday, Rosa?"

"Not really." Rosa sighed. "All they said was they had plans last night and left it at that. Knowing Shion, she's probably plotting with Mion new ways to mess with me."

"That does sound like her," Satoko replied. "She enjoys doing that way too much."

"Like you're one to talk." Rosa crossed her arms. "Let's not forget how you started this morning."

"What did she do?" Rika asked.

"I just gave Maria a bath." Satoko smiled and shrugged. "Rosa was asleep, so I thought I'd give her a hand."

"I meant, what happened after that." Rosa glared at her.

"Hey, don't blame me for you running in without pants." Satoko kept smiling.

"Why wasn't she wearing any…" Rena tried to ask before Rosa interrupted.

"I didn't want to sleep in jeans because that would have been uncomfortable!" Rosa blushed as she turned to Rena.

"Not my fault you didn't bring anything else to wear." Satoko grinned.

"It is your fault for falling asleep beside my daughter and having your arm over her." Rosa grinned.

"What…?" Satoko blushed as her eyes popped open.

"It's true." Rika smiled. "Rosa didn't want to wake you or Maria up and thought it was adorable."

"Awe! So kyute!" Rena smiled, picturing the scene in her head.

"I think I've had enough of the spring now!" Satoko quickly got up and out of the water.

"Satoko!" Rika giggled as she got up and chased her. "Come back here!"

"I think it's about time we got out of the spring," Rosa sighed. "You kids still need to show me more of this place."

"That's true." Rena giggled as Rosa got closer and took Maria out of her hands.

"Did you enjoy your first hot spring?" Rosa held up Maria and smiled at her. Maria smiled back.

"So kyute!" Rena smiled as she held her hands together. "I want to take both of you home with me!"

"It would be interesting to see you explain us to your family." Rosa giggled. "Come on, let's get moving."

"Right behind you!"
