"So this is where Keiichi lives?" Rosa asked, looking at the house.
"Yep." Rena nodded. "It's nice of you wanting to make sure he's okay."
"Well, since you kids are still thinking of things to do, I thought we should at least make sure he's doing okay." Rosa sighed, rocking Maria in her arms.
"I'm sure he's fine if he could walk back home." Satoko shrugged.
"Should I be terrified she wasn't concerned when we first heard Keiichi got hurt?" Rosa turned to look at Rika.
"That's just Satoko for you." Rika smiled.
"And how would Shion and Mion react to this if they were here?" Rosa raised an eyebrow.
"Shion would do the same, while Mion would only act like she's not concerned." Rena smiled.
"Act like?" Rosa turned to look at Rena.
"Oh ho ho ho!" Satoko laughed. "She tries to act like that all the time! Thankfully, Keiichi is too dense."
"Too den…" Rosa said to herself before thinking about it. "Oh, I get it."
"Anyways, let's go check already." Rena walked to the door.
"So, Mion and Keiichi, huh?" Rosa smiled at Satoko and Rika as they walked toward the house.
"I don't get it either." Satoko shrugged. "You don't see the rest of us feeling that way about him."
"I'm sure Mion has her reasons." Rika giggled.
"I was her age once, so I can say she does." Rosa smiled as she looked down at Maria. "Doesn't mean it makes sense, but she does have her reasons."
As Rena knocked on the door, a woman answered it.
"Oh, hi Rena." Aiko smiled as she opened the door. "I see you brought a few of your friends."
"Hi, Mrs. Maebara." Rena smiled. "Just wanted to check on Keiichi after last night."
"I appreciate that." Aiko smiled. She stopped as she looked at Rosa. "Who's your new friend Rena?"
"I'm Rosa." Rosa smiled, offering her hand. "Rena has been helping take care of my daughter, Maria."
"Nice to meet you, Rosa. I'm Aiko." Aiko shook her hand. "And I take it that cute little angel in your arms is Maria."
"Yep." Rosa giggled as she took her hand back.
"And how old are you, sweetie?" Aiko looked down and smiled at Maria.
"Rena." Maria looked up at her.
"That's not an age." Aiko giggled.
"She's 16 months old." Rosa giggled.
"Let me guess," Aiko said as she looked up at Rosa. "Rena's been saying how much she wants to take her home with her."
"And how did you guess that?" Rosa smiled.
"Is Keiichi doing okay?" Rena interrupted. "I'm sorry again about last night and wanted to make sure he was okay."
"He's fine, Rena." Aiko sighed. "He said he's still in a little pain but nothing serious."
"I'm sorry." Rena frowned.
"It's fine, Rena." Aiko sighed. "I know you didn't do it on purpose, and Keiichi knows it too."
"Okay." Rena kept frowning.
"Maybe we should go in and see him," Rosa suggested.
"I think he'd like that." Aiko smiled as she stepped to the side. "Please come in."
Everyone walked in and followed Aiko to Keiichi's room. She took them upstairs and outside of a room.
"Keiichi," Aiko knocked on the door. "Your friends are here."
"Come in," Keiichi said while also groaning.
Aiko opened the door, and Keiichi was on the bed. His skin had some scratches from rolling into sticks, but he didn't have any serious injuries.
"Hey guys." Keiichi slowly sat up and waved. He then noticed that Rosa was with them. "Oh, hey, Rosa."
"Good to see you're doing okay, Keiichi." Rosa smiled. "Rena told us everything."
"I'm sorry, Keiichi." Rena looked down as she kept frowning.
"Rena, I told you it's fine." Keiich tried to get up but fell back down on his bed. He slowly tried again and was now standing.
"I think she's also upset because of me," Rosa sighed. "I told her both of you need to be careful because she could have gotten hurt out there, and we wouldn't have known. Just trying to make sure all of you know to be more careful from now on."
"We promise we will." Keiichi smiled.
"Good." Rosa smiled. "I told Satoko and Rika the same thing."
"I never put myself in danger like that, though." Satoko grinned as she crossed her arms.
"Rika," Rosa turned to the girl in question. "Is that true?"
"Not really." Rika smiled.
"I thought so." Rosa giggled.
"Hey!" Satoko yelled as she stomped her foot. "When have I ever put myself in danger!?"
"What about when you ran towards the fire Keiichi started while trying to cook?" Rika kept smiling. "You ran straight at it to put it out."
"Wait, that's a real story?" Rosa's eyes went wide. She saw Rika nod in response. "I thought that was just a joke Shion made."
"Nope." Rika giggled. "Keiichi almost burned down his house trying to cook. Thankfully, Satoko was there to put it out."
"The fire wasn't even that big!" Satoko waved her arms up and down. "You're treating me like I ran into a house on fire!"
"Satoko is so kyute when she's like this." Rena smiled.
As the kids kept arguing, Rosa sighed as she looked down at Maria. She was still smiling, making Rosa smile back.
"I'm almost terrified about the trouble they'd put you in if you were older," Rosa whispered as she kissed Maria's head.
"I'm always worrying about Keiichi when it comes to them," Aiko whispered.
"I was hoping you'd tell me it gets easier the older they get." Rosa sighed.
"Sorry, but it doesn't." Aiko shook her head. "If anything, it gets worse."
"No kidding?" Rosa sighed as she dropped her shoulders.
"I'm sure Maria will be fine." Aiko smiled as she patted Rosa's back. "Part of being a parent is constantly worrying too much anyway. I thought it was a lot worse before Rena explained everything."
"Yeah, I know what you mean." Rosa sighed as she looked down at Maria and smiled. "Please don't stress Mama out so much when you get older."
"Rena." Maria smiled.
"Don't stress her out either." Rosa giggled.
"So, what are they dragging you into today?" Aiko asked. "Keiichi told me how Rena dragged you into shopping and about yesterday's picnic."
"Honestly, I'm not sure." Rosa sighed. "I'm still new to this place and unsure what they have planned for me next."
"I may have a suggestion for you then."
