The day it all began.

'Mass dissapareances in Tokyo'
'Hundreds vanish off the face of the earth in Japan'
'Police declare no clues found about the victims'
Headlines all over Japan were talking about the same, awful incident. Starting May 29, reports of dissapeared people in Tokyo started flooding the police channels, with upwards of 400 people being reported as such. There was nothing in common with the missing people, other than being last seen around Ginza, and disapapearing without leaving a trace.
Police crawled through thousands of hours of videos, only to came out empty handed, bar for a single clue: All people were tracked to dissapear in the centre of Ginza district, nearby to an bus stop.
No vans or suspicious people were seen at the Bus stop, but once the police started patrolling the zone to catch whoever were behind this wave of dissapareances, these suddenly stopped, and it has been like this for 2 weeks, with no mopre clues about the fate of the hundreds of missing people so far.
'Damn, i hope the Comiket doesn't get cancelled over this' Thought Youjo Itami while he rode the metro towards his favorite convention, worried that the mass dissapareance may force the convention to be cancelled, and as he dissembarked the metro and exited the station, he saw a large gathering of people, converging around a marble structure in the middle of the streets.
'What's this? a movie prop of sorts?' thought Itami as he approached the misterious building that, if going by waht the people around were comenting, appeared out of nowhere.
The structure resembled a greek or roman temple, with a rather plain desing; no decorative carvings were seen over the building unlike their counterparts in europe. Inside the temple, laid a black void that seemingly ran deeper than the temple itself, and Itami couldnt see nothing inside this void.
'Is this a prank of sorts? how could someone set up this without anyboy noticing' he thought, when the ground started to rumble, in a regular sequence, as if it there were a marching parade going on.
Suddenly, something flew out of the gate, a large, winged creature, a dragon, straight up from the fantasy stories he has read, and someone was mounting it. Still shcoked by this sight, he heard the rumbling of dozens of steps in an organized manner coming out of the temple, focusing his attention back into the void, he was something came out of the void. People, carrying large, purplish shields, with a square shape, not unlike the shileds used by the romans centuries ago.
These people were marching down in an orderly manner, in a square formation, slowly coming out of the temple. As they approached, the mob of people witnessing the event started to back away, as they saw how the formation of people had swords pointed direclty at them.
'Seriously, what is happening!?' Itami couldnt believe his eyes, first a misterious temple appeared out of nowhere, then a dragon came out flying, and now what appeared to be roman legionaries were coming out of the structure, he didnt not know what to think, other than aiding people to move away from the legionaries, who were starting to make a perimeter around the gate, while the dragon that came out earlier was flying in circles around the gate, too close for Itami's comfort.
As the perimeter grew, hundreds of legionaries joined the ranks, making a solid wall or purplsih shields around the structure, until a man riding a white horse came out of the structure, wearing a blue cape and a full plate armor with silver trimming, and a red feathered helmet. In its right hand he was carrying a branch of sorts, an dhe rode right up to the front of the formation gurading the entrance of the structure, while at the same time a patrol car of the police arrived at the scene, undoublty attarcted by the reports of romans and a dragon in Tokyo.
The man rode down of the horse, and approached the officers, arms wide open, showing the branch to the officers, which appeared to be some sort of olive branch, while carrying a roll of paper in the other hand; the cops, who were starting to unhoist theur guns at the sight of hundreds of legionaries, calmed down, and asked the man in armor "Who are you!? From where you came from!?" as they didnt understood froim where could come so many people in armor and nobody noticing it earlier
The man, leaving the branch beetwen the him and the cops, calmly answered "We are Saderan Empire, We demand meeting with Emperor Naruhito" Said the man, in a flawed japanese, with a thick, unknown accent, then handing the cops a roll "For your leader" he said, before retreating behind the wall of legionaries, who were firmly keeping a perimeter around the structure, at the same time the dragon percched over the gate, not too different of how a bird would perch over a cable.
This unusual meeting happened under the eyes of hundreds of local witnesses, and hundreds of thousands of virtual witnesses, watching the event unfold thorugh the dozens of live streams from the site, whcih went viral after the appareance of these newcomers and their dragon, which was now menancingly perched over the top of the structure, vigiliant of any hostile movement from part of the local japanese.
This event would mark an before and after for 2 great nations
