A/N: Hello you gorgeous readers! Welcome back to Unleashed Insanity! This would have been out a day or two before the day this comes out, but it got pushed due to some last minute editing.

I would like to take this time to rightfully acknowledge some things in recent reviews.

I wanted to say that this fanfiction is more based on the light novel, but is an alternate universe. Why am I saying this? Well one reason is that we all write a little differently. Meaning that just because what i write in this story doesn't mean what will actually happen in canon. But that isn't the real reason. It's because some things that happened in the novel didn't make it here, or at least not yet.

One example of this is that apparently Ichika's shield energy thing got fixed. Whereas in this he still has that problem. I looked it up and realized that was correct and it did get fixed. I apologize for that. It's been a while since I read it. I'm only going off of everything that I remember. I can probably try to find a way for the shield energy problem to get fixed here.

I thought that by stating that this is an alternate universe would be the best way to compensate for it.

Another thing is that I was told to make sure Ichika feels comfortable. And yes! He will be comforted one hundred percent. I already have an idea for a comfort scene in the next chapter.

And one more thing. I promise this story will not be abandoned and will make it to the finish line unlike other works. I don't care if one or anyone reads it at all.

Anyways that's enough of that. Get reading!

*Trigger Warning: Suicide*

*One week later*

After a long week of suspension, Ichika was finally able to return to class. As much as he didn't want to, being here and learning to be a pilot was really the only way to be safe from other various threats in the world.

Ichika mostly stayed in his room the entire time. Only leaving to have meals and go out for walks.

Tatenashi dropped off various worksheets and homework so he wouldn't fall behind. At first he wanted to just tear them all to shreds, but knew it would cause him more problems. So he accepted the work as it at least gave him something to do.

After he had a shower, he exited the bathroom and looked at his uniform lying on his bed.

The uniform I thought I would never wear again.

After putting it on, he grabbed his bag and headed out the door to go have breakfast. When he opened the door, he scanned the hallway. He didn't want to deal with a single girl at the academy. Especially since what he had done spread like wildfire. That he had snapped and sliced the cafeteria table in two. It was the subject of the week. And he had a feeling many girls who didn't see it would pester him about it.

He clenched his fist at the thought. He just wanted to be left alone. Taking a deep breath and another quick scan of the corridor. At the end of the hallway to his right, he spotted Tatenashi.

She saw him and held up her hand as if to say something, but Ichika instantly looked away from her and started down the hallway. Luckily it was the opposite way where she was.

Tatenashi felt her heart clench and looked down in sadness.

As Ichika made his way to the cafeteria, he took his time walking. He remembered on the first day he rushed around to avoid his harem. This time he didn't try to rush at all as his ties with them were cut completely. They could try all they want, but he only saw it as an attempt to go back to their old ways. They couldn't be trusted anymore. And he wanted nothing to do with them.

Ichika made it to the cafeteria. Opening the door, he saw a fair number of girls having breakfast. Most turned their heads when they saw him enter. He noticed that most of them started whispering.

Especially some specific girls. He saw his harem sitting at a booth. Ichika turned his head away instantly. He figures they will try something. Whatever it is, he didn't want to deal with it anymore.

He got his food and walked to a single table without sparing a glance at them or anyone. But he could feel them looking at him. Not just them, but most girls in the place. He only frowned as he ate his food.

Meanwhile at the booth where the girls were sitting. They were all constantly sparing glances at him. Clearly they wanted to go talk to him. But they were hesitant.

Rin broke the silence first. "What do we do?"

"If one of us goes over there, he will just blow us off. I just know it." Charlotte said.

Since he will likely blow any of them off. It only made it more complicated.

Kanzashi thought hard for a second before standing up.

"Where are you going?" asked Cecilia.

"He will just ignore or blow you off," Houki warned her.

Kanzashi knew that that was most likely to happen, but her heart told her to at least try. Since it's been a week, Ichika has possibly cooled down a bit.

"I know, but I've got to try," she said.

With that, she slowly made her way over to the table where Ichika was sitting. Ichika had just finished eating when he saw her approaching. He clenched his fists. Just when he thought none of them would try anything.

"I-Ichika…"

He grew a glare. "Whatever you're trying to do, forget it!" Ichika then grabbed his tray to throw out his trash.

"Ichika, please listen!" she pleaded.

Ichika turned to face her again. "And why should I do that?! You girls never listened to me! So why should I listen to you?!"

Before Kanzashi could utter a syllable, Chifuyu entered the cafeteria.

"Class starts in fifteen minutes! Anyone who is late will run laps around the school!"

Every other girl in the cafeteria started to devour their food in order not to be late. Ichika had already finished and was about to walk over to the trash before he turned toward Kanzashi once more.

"Whatever you and the others are trying to do, forget it!" he said as he walked away from her. He tossed his remains in the trash and made his way to the door.

Kanzashi could only lower her head in sadness.

Chifuyu noticed Ichika walking towards her to get to the door.

"Orimura!" She called out.

Hearing that name made him want to punch her. He made it clear that he wasn't an Orimura anymore and that he was no longer related to her.

"I told you I'm not an Orimura anymore!" He spat out as he walked past her.

She turned to watch him as he walked out of the cafeteria. She was going to ask what he meant, but remembered what he said that night. That they were no longer related. Her heart ached at the thought, but pushed it aside since she had a class to teach.

The other girls got up and walked over to Kanzashi. Charlotte put her hand on her shoulder. "Don't worry Kanzashi. He can't stay mad forever."

Kanzashi looked at her before taking a deep breath, hoping that was the case. She grabbed her things and they all made their way to class.

Ichika arrived at the classroom he thought he would never be back in. As he walked to his seat, most of the girls in the class turned their gazes to him. Ichika tried his best to ignore them, but with this many girls in the class, it made it really hard to do. Especially his harem who were talking with each other and some other girls.

"Excuse me, Orimura," Ms. Yamada said.

Ichika clenched his fists, hearing himself addressed by that name again.

"How many times have I said that I'm not an Orimura anymore?!" He nearly shouted.

Ms. Yamada shook when he said that. Every girl instantly focused on this scene.

"I-I'm sorry, I didn't…"

Ichika faced the rest of the class. "This is the last time I'm saying this! I'm not an Orimura anymore! I'm just Ichika! If any of you call me that again I swear to god!"

The girls all shook. This definitely wasn't the same Ichika anymore.

"I'll take that silence as a yes!" he said again as he sat down in his seat.

Just then Chifuyu walked in. "Is everything alright here?"

Ms. Yamada turned to face her. "Everything… Is just fine, Ms. Orimura."

Chifuyu noticed she hesitated there and sensed the atmosphere was off. She looked at Ichika who sat at his desk tapping his finger, not paying attention to what was happening around him. She then looked at the harem. Who all looked nervous.

She decided it wasn't worth it and started the class. "Alright then everyone to your seat!"

In an instant, everyone sat down.

"Alright! We have an arena booked for training tomorrow. It was only supposed to be Wednesday and Friday, but we got it just for tomorrow."

Everyone was surprised by the extra day they got for training. Ichika on the other hand could care less about an extra day in the arena. He just listened to the lectures and took notes.

The lunch hour finally came. Ichika just got up and walked to the door normally. He didn't feel the need to run this time.

The girls got up and followed after him.

"Ichika!" Rin called out to him.

Refusing to acknowledge them, Ichika continued walking.

Houki was about to call out to him next, but was cut off by someone clearing their throat loudly. The girls all turned to see Chifuyu looking at them with an unpleasant expression.

They all suddenly remembered that she told them to leave him alone or there would be consequences. Not saying anything more they waited a minute until Ichika left and went to their lunch.

Unlike last time, Ichika had lunch in the cafeteria. He didn't feel like there was a point in going to the secret spot near the park because even if he did it wouldn't be long until they found him.

As he ate, he grinded his food with his teeth. All he could feel were eyes on him. Which really started getting to him.

Why are you all staring at me?!

He gripped his utensils harder with his hands. He wanted to stand up and tell everyone to stop staring at him, but refrained from doing so as he didn't want to make a scene.

This lasted for the entire hour. Eventually it came to an end and he returned to class.

Class was the same story as usual. At the end of the day the bell rang and Ichika walked his way out of the room the same way as the lunch break.

The girls wanted to talk to him, but remembered what Chifuyu said. Some of them managed to restrain themselves. While others, mainly Cecilia, Houki, and Rin couldn't handle this silent treatment anymore.

"Ichika dear!" Cecilia called out desperately.

Like before, Ichika just continued to walk away from them and down the hallway.

My god! Why won't these TIE Fighters just go away?!

Houki wasn't having any of it. "This is ridiculous, Ichika! Are you just going to stay silent the whole time?!"

"You can't just ignore us forever!" Added Rin.

Feeling like they weren't going to stop, Ichika turned to face them.

"Correction! I can, and I will!"

The three of them were about to say something back, but before they could utter a syllable they heard a strict voice behind them.

"What did I say?!"

They turned around to find Chifuyu looking more unpleasant than she was earlier.

"Mentor, we're just trying to-" Laura tried to speak.

"And I told you to give him space!" Chifuyu remarked.

She looked at Ichika. Unfortunately, he wasn't interested in hearing what she had to say. Nor did he want to say anything to her. He just whipped around and made his way down the hallway.

Her heart ached like before, but she brushed it off by giving the girls one last warning.

"Leave him alone!" She stated with clear demand and order in her voice.

They all shook from that, but agreed as they didn't want to get into more trouble.

Ichika walked his way through the hallways of the school. He eventually made his way outside. The first and only place he was going back to was his room. Since that was really the only place he felt safe since there were nothing but females around.

Walking down the hallway to get to the room, he saw Tatenashi at the end of the hallway. Similar to where he saw her this morning.

Was she just standing there all day?

He just turned his gaze away from her and walked to the door to his room.

Seeing this, Tatenashi quickly walked towards him. "Ichika!"

Ichika! Ichika! Ichika! Why don't you ever say some else's name for once?!

"Ichika, please! I just want to say one thing!" She pleaded.

Figuring she wouldn't go until she said what she wanted to say, he turned to face her, annoyed. "What?!"

"I-I know what you said about everything else. But we're still training…Right?"

Ichika thought back to what he said the day he came back. He said he quit the council and that he didn't want her as his bodyguard anymore. He never thought about training, though.

At first, he wanted to say no, but thought about it for a second. He already had trouble with keeping up with others in class when they all had training. Tatenashi was assigned to train him personally so it would be easier.

"Fine! We can still do training!" He sighed, annoyed. "But that's all!"

While she hoped for more, she was glad that he was able to still agree to train which was pretty much a priority.

"Good."

Not saying anything more he entered his room and collapsed on his bed. He wondered what the days forward were going to be like.

Will they finally leave me alone? Or will they keep pestering me?

Later that evening, Ichika skipped dinner as he just knew he would be stared at the whole time and didn't have the patience to deal with them any longer.

As the evening rolled along, his stomach started to growl. Now knowing this wasn't the smartest decision, he started to regret not having something to eat.

As he laid on his bed, the growling got louder. He soon started to feel tired. His eyes began to feel heavy. Eventually he fell into a dreadful sleep.

The next morning Ichika just laid there on his bed, staring at the ceiling, his eyes empty and lifeless. He remembered the nightmare he had where he met his inner demon.

No one cares about you! You and everyone else would be better off if you were gone!

That played in his head over and over again.

"N-No one…cares about me…" He stuttered in a low and dreadful voice. "It would be better if I was…gone."

Just then, Ichika sat up on his bed, his face emotionless and eyes lacking a soul. He slowly moved his feet to the floor, slowly walking his way out of the room, and down the hallway of the dorm.

The place was quiet, like there was no one around, but Ichika hardly noticed or even cared. He just continued to slowly walk his way down the hallway.

After quite a few minutes, he made it to his destination. The student baths. Only it wasn't his personal one, but the girls' bath. He opened the door to the main area. It was empty. But he had a feeling someone would show up soon.

Ichika slowly walked toward the main bath pool. He stopped at the ledge. The look on his face was unchanged, as he stared down at the steaming water.

His harem and sister came to his mind. Everything they've done to him. All the pain and sadness. Ichika soon felt tears falling down his face.

"This… This is what I deserve..." He started breathing raggedly. "Everyone… Would be better off without me…"

"I NEVER SHOULD HAVE BEEN BORN! I DESERVE TO DIE!" He screamed as he started to cry.

With that, Ichika slowly tipped forward like a domino and belly flopped into the water, causing a massive splash. He just floated there on the surface, faced down. He held his breath, determined to drown.

Only about thirty seconds after he tipped into the water, the door opened. In walked the harem and some other classmates, who were all wrapped in white towels.

"Is it just me or did any of you hear someone shout?" Tatenashi questioned. Only it wouldn't be long until she saw the answer to her question.

"What the… Ichika?!" She said as she saw Ichika floating motionless in the bath.

The other's eyes looked towards the bath as well. "AHHHH!" They all screamed.

When Tatenashi saw that Ichika wasn't moving. "ICHIKA!" She screamed as she bolted to the bath, launching herself in, sloshing through the water. She wrapped her arms around him and tried to lift him up, managing to get his face out of the water.

"Ichika, what the hell are you doing!" She sounded like she was about to cry.

"L-Let me go… Let me fucking go!" He spoke raggedly as he tried to catch his breath.

"Ichika stop!" She said, as she struggled to keep him up. She was on his left side with her arms wrapped around him, trying to carry him to the edge.

Ichika grabbed at her arms, trying to break free.

"Ichika, stop it!" She struggled to keep her grip on him.

"L-Let me go!" He grabbed and pulled harder.

Suddenly, he managed to get out of her arms. He collapsed and splashed into the water again. Instantly blowing bubbles in order to lose his breath.

"Ichika!" She grabbed and lifted him again.

"L-Let me g-go!" he said between sobs. "Let the fuck go!"

He tried to fall back into the water again by giving his legs out, determined to fall back under the water. This caused Tatenashi to struggle to keep him up.

She looked at the rest of the harem and other girls who stood along the side watching this scene in horror.

"Someone give me a hand here!" She cried.

They all wanted to jump in and help, but looked skeptical since they were all naked except for white towels.

Charlotte ran towards the struggling two. She needed to help Ichika, regardless of the current situation. Leaping into the bath, she splashed her way through the water to Ichika's right side and wrapped her hands around him the same way as Tatenashi.

"Ichika, stop this!" She said as she tried to help Tatenashi keep him above the water.

"Let go of me!" He cried out, sobbing and refusing to walk.

"No, Ichika!" Tatensahi said, on the brink of crying as well.

"Never!" Charlotte added.

While it was a struggle, since Ichika refused to willingly move, they both managed to get Ichika to the edge of the bath. His torso collapsed on the floor. He continued breathing raggedly.

"Ichika, please stand up," Tatenashi tried to lift his legs to get him to stand.

After a minute, Ichika put his arms down to try and lift himself. The two kept their grip on him to try and help him stand. Deciding to use his legs, he slowly stepped out of the bath.

Tatenashi and Charlotte let go of him. "Ichika! Are you okay?" Charlotte asked.

Ichika didn't turn to face her. He looked down at the floor for a second, before taking a few slow steps forward.

Both Tatensashi and Charlotte as well as everyone else looked at him, wondering if he was going to try anything else.

Suddenly, he whipped around toward the bath again.

"ICHIKA!"

Luckily, Tatenashi managed to wrap her arms around him again before the top half of his body could land in the water. She whipped him around until he was in the same position as before with it being his top half on the edge and his legs in the water.

This time the two held Ichika down with Tatenashi holding his left arm with her right hand while putting her left hand on his shoulder. Charlotte did the same with his right side in order to prevent him from trying anything else. Which only made Ichika feel worse. He started to cry again.

"Let go of me!" He tried to shake them off. But they both held him down tightly.

"No! I'm not letting you do this, Ichika!" Tatenashi said.

Tatenashi looked at all the girls who just stood there, watching this scene. "Someone call a teacher or someone to help here, please!"

"Help! We need help here!" A random girl shouted out the door.

This only made Ichika fight harder to get free. If a teacher were to hear about all of this it would likely end with him getting into even more serious trouble which only made him want to die even more.

After about a minute, the door flew open again. Chifuyu, Ms. Yamada and a few other teachers and instructors entered to see what the commotion was.

It took no time for them to see Tatensashi and Charlotte pinning a crying and struggling Ichika down.

Chifuyu marched her way over them, not even noticing his tears. She grabbed him by the back of his shirt and yanked him up to face her. A crying Ichika stared back at her with dead eyes and beet-red cheeks.

She raised her fist. Ichika saw that she was about to punch him, but didn't say a word as he felt like he didn't even have a soul anymore.

"Ichika, how dare you peep in the girls' bath!" She launched her fist at his face.

"Ahhh!" Ichika grabbed his face in pain and landed on the ground.

Sweating and breathing heavily, he put his hand down on the ground to sit up. Only he didn't feel the tile floor anymore. Looking up, he found himself in his dorm room on the ground next to his bed.

Another nightmare, again?

As Ichika tried to recount what just happened, he brought his hand to his head to think. He felt a bump, causing him to wince in pain.

He looked over at the nightstand next to his bed. He figured he knocked his head on it as he fell off the bed. Which meant Chifuyu never punched him and that he was never actually in the girls' bath.

Ichika collapsed on the ground on his back and stared at the ceiling in the dark.

What did that all mean?

So what do you think? I'm sure you can tell that I took some inspiration from the Singularity Fanfiction. But I tried my best to execute it differently to avoid copyright. Which I will say now that I don't want to do.

While we're on this topic. Some of you might be wondering why Ran Gotanda isn't at the academy. Since it's said in canon that she planned to attend the following year, which would be now in this story.

I will be honest here. The real reason why I didn't want to include her at the academy isn't because I think she's a bad character. It was because I felt that it would make it too similar to Singularity. Since both that and this story take place around the same time. I believe that proves that I don't want to copy that story and stay original.

That being said, I want to say that the next one may take a bit longer to produce. I have been really busy with work in real life for the past month now and more is likely to come so that will take up more of my free time.

Another reason is that I want to get some action going here in this story. I have never written action scenes before so I want to study up on it a little bit. I also want to re-read some of the novels as well to help get some ideas for this story and help out with action writing as well. And if any of you have any suggestions on anything that has been mentioned here, then please share it. I read every review you all throw at me.

In the meantime, I have some other Infinite Stratos things in the works right now. You might get one or two of those before you see the next chapter of this. But don't worry, I'm still working on this.

With that, I will see you gorgeous readers wherever I see you next.

Peace!
