Chapter 3
A New Wind Arrives: Black Northeastern wind of battle
Climbing a building and getting to the roof standing there staring at an abandoned church owned by The Shredder, which was used as the lair for the foot clan. In front of it were two theropod-like giant robots, the open cockpit's resemblance to a gaping mouth. Looking at it Leo could tell even despite his lack of knowledge in the technology arts legs were heavily armored and reinforced and obviously cannon attached to the top around them scattered were a few foot soldiers. Standing there unnoticed Leo pulled out his katanas jumping up cracking the roof beneath him.
Launched far into the air with incredible strength he focused on the theropod closest landing on it stabbing his katanas into its front near its cockpit "UUURRRAAA!" it roared gaining the attention of the foot soldiers and the other theropod Leo must have struck something vital because it started firing randomly. Using this to his advantage Leo steered it with his swords still stuck inside it, aiming it at the foot soldiers the robot fired its bullet from the side of its body. The other robot let off a rocket Leo jumped into the air behind him the robot exploded the force pushing Leo to the other.
Leo landed on top of it the robot begging to thrash around before throwing off Leo he cut off a wire to the attached rocket launcher. Flipping off and landing on the ground Leo looked at the roaring robot saying "Let's Dance!" Leo then rushed forward avoiding the bullets it tried shooting at him. Getting in closer, slashed at its right leg then left in quick succession as the robot tried to move back he jumped grabbing it by the front of its cockpit and using a mixture of his body weight and the strength given to him by the black mutagen to flip it.
He was upside down in the air while the robot was flipping, Leo fell down standing back up seeing the Robot getting back into an upright position. Leo took his swords and jumped in the air then when landing on the cock pit he rammed them into it effectively killing it. Pulling his swords out he walked toward the entrance when he jumped back the place where he once stood impaled by a levitating pair of hands holding sai's levitating with it was segmented pieces of their arms soon they reattached floating into the shadows. Leo looked pensive "what beauty you show… if only these were more than mindless robots."
A figure said coming out from the shadow his body was made of black metal connecting together like magnets segmented by slashes yet his mouth remained human wearing a military belt. "Ah, I can see your eyes… sweat violence" Leo got into a stance asking "what are you talking about? And who are you" the man replied fanatically, saying "VIOLENCES Violence the true and raw reflection of the chaos within. It's in your eyes of those who revel in it, a dark abyss that mirrors the turmoil of their souls… My name is Yang Enlil, the Wind of Southeast Asia."
Scoffing Leo narrowed while speaking "I don't have time to argue philosophy with a maniac, Where's Raphael!" Leo then attempts to rush at Yang but as soon as he takes a step metal panels are ripped from the robots flying they surround and cover Leo in a ball of metal. "Sorry to say i'm not at liberty to share that but if he was taken by us he might already be dead, So you shouldn't worry you'll be joining him!" The ball began to shrink Leo inside it tried cutting his way out with the little room he had.
It proved futile when hearing Yang gritted his teeth and without hesitation he pulled out the second vial injecting it into his leg "Grrraaa!" Leo's veins pulsed out of his body, gripping his swords tight. Twisting around sparks flying Leo manages to force his blade to cut through the metal ball. As the final shards of metal fell away, Leonardo emerged from the wreckage, his breath coming in heavy, determined gasps. His eyes burned with fury, a fierce resolve etched into his expression. "I'm going to get Raph back," he growled, the words like a vow of vengeance. The damage to his armor and the blood staining his bandages were of no concern to him; the only thing that mattered was rescuing his brother.
Yang Enlil materialized from the shadows, his black metal body shifting with an unsettling fluidity. His segmented form reassembled with a metallic clicking sound, each segment reconnecting seamlessly. The once-smooth surface of his body now gleamed ominously in the dim light, the powerful electromagnetic forces holding him together radiating an eerie energy. His mouth, still human despite the mechanical monstrosity, twisted into a cold, mocking smile. "Such rage," Yang said, his voice carrying an eerie calmness.. "Why don't you show me your true violence"Without warning, Yang's body segmented further, each piece floating independently, a swarm of metal parts moving with precise coordination.
Leonardo's eyes narrowed, focusing intently on the ever-shifting form of his opponent. With a roar of defiance, Leo charged forward, his katanas slashing with blinding speed. Yang's segmented form moved with disorienting agility, each piece darting and weaving to avoid Leo's strikes. The air crackled with the sound of clashing metal as Leo's blades met Yang's floating segments, sparks flying with every contact. Yang retaliated, his limbs extending and retracting in a fluid dance of offense. Each strike was aimed to overwhelm, his body moving like a well-oiled machine in a deadly rhythm. Leo's anger fueled his movements, driving him to push through the barrage of attacks.
He ducked and dodged with an almost supernatural speed, his focus razor-sharp despite the chaotic onslaught. Yang's body separated further, attacking from all angles with a relentless precision that tested Leo's limits. The sheer force of Yang's attacks sent debris flying, large metal fragments crashing down around them. Leo's resolve only hardened as he saw the debris raining down. With a powerful leap, he dodged a massive metal beam Yang had lifted with his electromagnetic generator, slicing through it mid-swing. The beam disintegrated into a shower of sparks, and Leo landed with a determined crash, his eyes locked on Yang's reassembling form.
The fight became a brutal ballet of aggression and evasion. Yang's body split into even smaller segments, each part darting around, launching coordinated strikes. Leo slashed and spun, his katanas carving through the air with deadly accuracy. The segmented parts of Yang's body moved with eerie synchrony, each segment dodging and countering with unnerving precision. In a fit of rage, Leo unleashed a flurry of attacks, his movements so rapid that they created a whirlwind of slashing steel. Each strike was fueled by his burning desire to save Raphael, his own safety a distant thought. Yang's segments struggled to keep up with Leo's relentless assault. Sparks flew as Leo's blades connected with metal, cutting through Yang's defenses.
Yang's voice echoed with frustration as he tried to keep pace with the barrage. "You're relentless," he snarled, his segmented body struggling to maintain its form. "But you can't keep this up forever!" Leo ignored the taunts, his focus solely on dismantling Yang's body. With a fierce cry, he launched himself into the air, his katanas slicing through the electromagnetic forces holding Yang's form together. The segments of Yang's body began to break apart, falling to the ground in a cacophony of clattering metal. Leo's fury only intensified as he saw Yang's form disintegrating, each piece of metal falling away.
With a final, mighty swing, Leo cut through the last of Yang's segments. The pieces lay scattered on the ground, the once-formidable cyborg reduced to a pile of mangled metal. Leo stood over the wreckage, his breath heavy and ragged, his body bruised but unbowed. The fight had been fierce, but his anger and determination had seen him through. "URRRAAA!," Leo yelled, his voice a mix of exhaustion and triumph. He stared at the remnants of his opponent, his heart still pounding with the adrenaline of battle. The fight was over, but the mission was far from complete. With a grim set to his jaw, Leo turned and started his search anew, his mind focused solely on rescuing his brother. Arriving in front of the door he hurled puking up the contents of his stomach mostly being pizza but out also came out a black blood like substance. "Uaahh!" Leo grunted
Donnie was trying to sleep in his bed but he remembered Leo's face and he remembered their early convection "so what would happen if this was injected into one of us?" Donnie's eyes narrowed as he stared at Leo who remained stoic, Donnie then said "well if you took this it would be like overdosing on… lets say fifty kilos of drugs in one instant." Donnie stared down Leo unabated Leo said "and let's say I survive what would be the side effects." they remained quiet staring each other down until Donnie sighed saying "Leo you're not listening… frankly this stuff is untested… that means there is no guarantee you'll survive it first entering your bloodstream."Leo glanced at the vials then he walked out saying "then its emergency use."
This combined with Leo's obvious frustration Donnie couldn't sleep he soon got up walking to his lab while thinking "Just gotta check the lab Leo's smart and reasonable if he wasn't Master splinter wouldn't have made him the leader, so i'm sure Leo wouldn't do anything rash-" Opening the door to his lab and looking at his desk he stopped thinking see how the vials were all gone. "L-Le-LEO YOU IDIOT!!" Donnie yelled frustratingly, putting his hand over his face. "Donnie what's the matter!" rushing out to where he heard Donnie, Mikey yelled. Donnie didn't reply, instead sheathing in frustration until Master splinter came out asking "Donatello what seems to be the issue."
Sighing Donnie said "Leo's gone" Splinter and Mikey's eyes widened, after taking in the information Mikey frantically said waving his arms around "B-but Leo's injured didn't you say his Achilles tendon was slashed he can't even walk!" Donnie replied with a pensive look on his face "yeah, even with our mutant healing normally we wouldn't be able to walk it off" Pausing for a minute his expression turning worried then continuing "remember that black mutagen… it has healing properties the problem is the side effects… their unknown… so for all we know Leo's out there sizing on the ground out there from an overdose! "
Donnie finished yelling out his frustration hiding his worry, both Raphale and Leonardo were gone Raphale being captured and was anyone's guess what was being done to him and Leonardo going ROUGE even potentially overdosing. "Then we need to leave immediately!" Splinter said while beginning to move, Donnie stopped him saying "No master Leo may not be in the right headspace but he was right to leave us behind… we're injured and i assume he took the Vials because he wasn't trying to risk the side effects on us."
Splinter stopped understanding his son's point, but Mikey didn't, his eyes widening in rage turning to donnie walking torrid him grabbing him by his front shell, yelling his pitch getting higher "What are you suggesting Donnie we leave them to Die or something!" Donnie grabbed the arm holding him replying in frustration "no you idiot do you even try to read behind the line!-" he was cut off when Splinter yelled "Enough!" getting their attention he continued "two of your brothers are missing, their absence is heavy. Let not each other wander. Mikey Donattelo was talking about me. I am old and am unable to join you. So it is left to each other. "
Donnie and Mikey separated Mikey putting his head down Splinter then said "you too remember these words A single leaf cannot withstand the storm, but a forest stands tall against the tempest. Bind together as one, and no challenge shall break us and in a sea of confusion, the mind must be the calm within the storm. Use the bond and trust of each other as your anchor, holding each other steady through turbulent waters. When doubt rises, lean on one another; together, you will weather the storms that would otherwise overwhelm you." the two looked at him not truly taking in his word but all the same saying "yes sensei!" hearing them agree Splinter nodded yelling "Now Go!"
Donnie and Mikey rushed off and to the Shellraiser a section of a train spray painted in various colors Its tires are mounted on an armature that slides up or down allowing it to be used on subway rails or roads. It is equipped with a retractable top-mounted garbage cannon, a sewer lid launcher and bumper-mounted crushing jaws. Mikey attempted to get to the driver seat Donnie stopped him saying "i trust Leo to drive you no way." Mikey then slumped sadly walking to his seat extending down from the roof was a binocular letting him see the situation outside. Donnie stepping off the gas drove down the abandoned subway tunnel in the ground above the car, opening up as an entrance closing back up when he made his way to the surface.
Leo opened the doors, seeing the first floor of the abandoned church is a sprawling expanse, its once-sacred atmosphere now mingled with a stark, futuristic edge. The grand architecture of the church has been transformed into a labyrinth of high-tech remnants and neglected machinery. Dust filters through the shafts of light that pierce the stained glass windows, casting an eerie glow on the debris-strewn floor.
Advanced ninja equipment is scattered across the area, revealing the former occupants' dedication to both traditional and cutting-edge training. Practice dummies, now equipped with integrated sensors and motion trackers, are toppled and broken. Their digital displays flicker intermittently, casting a soft blue light. Broken katana hologram projectors lie in pieces, and smart shurikens with embedded LED lights are scattered around.
The remnants of high-tech training mats, once capable of adjusting their resistance and grip based on user performance, are crumpled and torn, their interfaces dark. In the center of the room, a large, multi-functional training platform stands abandoned. It's equipped with retractable targets, adjustable obstacle courses, and a digital control panel that's covered in dust. Nearby, discarded energy blades, their glowing edges dimmed, and compact grappling hooks with retractable cords lie in disarray. Small, autonomous drones designed for aerial combat training are wedged in various corners, their propellers stilled and sensors dark.
The far wall features a sophisticated, holographic display unit that once projected tactical maps and training simulations. Now, its screens are cracked and flickering sporadically, projecting ghostly images of long-forgotten training sessions. Scattered around this display are fragments of augmented reality visors and biometric sensors. Above, a sleek, metal balcony encircles the first floor. This balcony is accessible via a series of retractable ladders and a vertical lift system, now rusty and inoperative. The railings are lined with built-in, dimly lit LEDs that have long since faded. The balcony overlooks the room below, where suspended overhead lights, once controlled by an advanced AI system, dangle precariously from their wiring.
In one corner, a reinforced glass chamber—once used for high-intensity combat simulations—stands empty and cracked, its monitoring systems deactivated. The chamber's control panel, now a jumble of flashing lights and malfunctioning circuits, hints at the high-tech training that once occurred here. The air is thick with the scent of old machinery and lingering smoke from malfunctioned electronics. The occasional whirring sound from a lone, malfunctioning drone adds to the eerie atmosphere. This once-innovative training ground now serves as a relic of a bygone era, a place where the fusion of ancient skill and modern technology has left a profound, yet haunting impression.
Leo walked inside looking around not seeing a single foot soldier "ye must be that turtle little thing Jetstream going on about." Leo heard a rapey red neek voice looking up to the balcony he saw a tall bald caucasian man covered in a black cloak on both of his sides were what Leo could see sheathed macetes. Leo glared up at the man, the black blood in his veins shown out in an intimidating sight "HA HA that bastard was right you got the right look in your eyes but ya just not there yet come on up meet ya at the roof!" the man then walked of and to the roof
Walking up to follow the man Leo made his way up. The church's rooftop presents an impressive and commanding sight, a spacious platform crowned by an expansive helicopter pad. The pad dominates a significant portion of the rooftop, its surface meticulously crafted from reinforced concrete designed to endure the impact of heavy aircraft. The concrete is a dull, industrial gray, speckled with fine aggregates that lend it a gritty texture. This pad is marked with bold, white lines forming a prominent "H" in the center, clearly delineated against the surrounding concrete. Encircling the "H" is a vivid red band, its color bright enough to catch the eye even in low visibility conditions.
At the edges of the rooftop, a robust metal railing runs along the perimeter, ensuring safety for anyone on the roof. The railing is constructed from heavy-duty steel, its dark, matte finish a stark contrast to the light gray of the concrete below. The metal bars are spaced close enough to prevent accidental falls but wide enough to offer unobstructed views of the cityscape sprawling below. The railing's top is capped with a smooth, rounded edge, providing a place to rest a hand while taking in the panoramic vistas. The helicopter pad itself is flanked by a series of functional and decorative elements.
Tall, slender antennas rise from the corners of the pad, their metallic shafts gleaming under the sunlight. These antennas are interspersed with satellite dishes and communication equipment, which are mounted on sturdy, angular supports. The equipment is essential for coordinating flights and maintaining contact with the ground, and its sleek, modern design provides a sharp contrast to the traditional architecture of the church. The rooftop's surface is carefully maintained, free of debris and equipped with built-in drainage systems to manage rainwater. Along the edges of the helicopter pad, there are several strategically placed access doors. These heavy, reinforced doors open into the church's upper chambers and the bell tower, their surfaces marked with signs indicating restricted access. The doors are constructed from the same robust material as the railing, designed to withstand both weather and time.
Adjacent to the helicopter pad, the roof space is open and uncluttered, providing ample room for the safe landing and take-off of aircraft. The area is illuminated at night by powerful floodlights mounted on tall, adjustable poles. These lights cast a broad, even glow over the entire pad, ensuring visibility from the air and creating a safe landing environment even in the darkest hours. The floodlights' beams can be adjusted to illuminate specific areas or to create a well-lit perimeter around the pad. The surrounding sections of the rooftop are adorned with decorative elements reflecting the church's architectural style. Ornate stonework, intricate carvings, and tall, slender spires rise from the corners of the roof, their gothic designs echoing the church's grandeur. The rooftop's edges are further decorated with wrought iron filigree, adding an element of elegance to the functional space.
Leo saw the man casting off his cloak revealing that he was donning a specialized custom cyborg body to match his bulky frame; his custom cyborg body could mount six shield-like platforms in the sockets on his back. Leo absently released it was raining and it was midnight Leo then looked at the man and asked "i already killed your friend Yang the Wind of Southeast Asia and now if you don't tell me where Ralph is i'm ganna-" he was cut off when he man roared "HAA HAA thats funny kid ya Know you, me, Yang, and even that brazilian dick are the same you can hide it but were itching to fight itch'en to be strong! Like the wind we'll go to where we can unleash our true selves!"
Leo was going to retort when he felt a throbbing in his head taking a knee Leo held his head "come on kill him already we have to! We've trained for this, we're stronger than him hurry up and- " the voice from his dreams rang out from his head he cut it off standing up yelling "ahhhhhha! SHUT UP" the voice stopped and Leo looked at the man crazily ponting the tip of his sword at him asking "who the hell are you?" the man pulled out his macetes saying "My names Desperado Thors but you'll be remembering me as the hot winds of California"
The helipad atop the church was a storm-battered battleground, the rain pouring down in relentless sheets that turned the night into a chaotic blur. Lightning streaked across the sky, briefly illuminating the gothic spires of the church and casting eerie shadows across the rain-slicked surface. Leonardo stood at the center, drenched and determined, his katanas glistening with rainwater. His usually calm demeanor had given way to an intense, almost frantic focus. His eyes darted with a mixture of fury and confusion, his mind battling unseen demons as he faced his opponent: Thor.
Thor loomed over him, a towering cyborg clad in a dark, sleek exoskeleton that resembled a modern shogun. Six shield-like platforms on his back shimmered with a metallic sheen, their explosive-reactive armor designed to deflect and repel attacks. Thor's primary weapons were his high-frequency machete blades, known as "Bloodlust," which could heat to a red-hot intensity, adding to their destructive power. The storm roared around them, the rain lashing down and creating a cacophony of sound. Leonardo charged forward, his katanas slicing through the torrential downpour. His movements were driven by a raw, unrestrained fury, but his strikes were interspersed with moments of disorientation. He swung his katanas with a mix of precision and erratic force, as though his mind was struggling to keep pace with his body.
Thor responded with cold, calculated efficiency. His enhanced reflexes allowed him to evade Leonardo's attacks with ease. The shields on his back whirred and adjusted, their explosive-reactive technology absorbing and deflecting Leonardo's strikes. Thor's high-frequency machetes glowed ominously, their red heat slicing through the air with deadly intent. The clash of metal was deafening, each impact sending shockwaves through the storm. Leonardo's katanas met Thor's blades in a series of explosive exchanges. The energy from the shields created blinding bursts of light, momentarily obscuring the fighters. Through the flickering light and blinding flashes, Leonardo's eyes betrayed a flicker of confusion, as though he was grappling with fragmented thoughts and visions.
Leonardo ducked under a sweeping strike from Thor's red-hot machetes, rolling across the slick surface of the helipad. His soaked armor clung to him, but he pressed on, driven by sheer will. Yet, his movements were punctuated by sudden, jerky changes in direction and pace, as if he were grappling with conflicting impulses. Thor began to use his shield platforms more aggressively, creating a barrier of energy that repelled Leonardo's attacks. Each shield flare was accompanied by a burst of light that seemed to further unsettle Leonardo, his focus shifting unpredictably between the enemy and the storm around him. His attacks became more erratic, fueled by a combination of intense emotion and disorientation.
Leonardo launched a series of rapid, intricate maneuvers, his katanas slicing through the rain with renewed determination. His efforts were marked by an almost frantic energy, as though he were struggling to maintain control over his own body and mind. The helipad became a storm of flashing steel and explosive energy, Leonardo's relentless attacks testing the limits of Thor's defenses. Despite the growing strain, Leonardo pressed on. His movements grew heavier, his breath coming in ragged gasps, but he refused to relent. He noticed a fleeting vulnerability in Thor's defenses—a gap that he could exploit. With a burst of speed, Leonardo charged forward, his katanas extended in a final, desperate assault.
In a dramatic twist, Leonardo made a split-second decision. He hurled one of his katanas with all his remaining strength. The blade soared through the air, its edge gleaming in the lightning. The thrown katana struck a weak point in Thor's shield array, causing the energy barriers to flicker and fail. Thor was momentarily stunned by the unexpected attack, and Leonardo's vision seemed to sharpen, his focus narrowing to the opportunity before him. Seizing the chance, Leonardo charged in with renewed vigor. His remaining katana became an extension of his will, each strike powered by a mixture of raw emotion and unyielding determination.
The shields on Thor's back sputtered and died under the relentless assault, revealing critical vulnerabilities in the cyborg's defenses. With a final, powerful thrust, Leonardo drove his katana through a crucial joint in Thor's armor. The cyborg staggered, his systems failing as Leonardo's relentless assault took its toll. Thor teetered on the edge of the helipad, his massive form losing balance. In a dramatic moment of high tension, Thor lost his footing. His heavy, armored frame toppled over the edge of the helipad, falling through the stormy air. The rain intensified as he plummeted towards the street below, his final moments marked by the chaotic splashes of rain and the distant sounds of the city.
Thor crashed onto the street, the impact sending a shockwave through the surroundings. The explosion of debris and shattered metal was illuminated by the flickering city lights. The cyborg lay motionless amidst the wreckage, the storm continuing its relentless assault. Leonardo, breathing heavily and drenched to the bone, stood victorious on the helipad. His mind was a tumultuous storm of confusion and clarity, his victory hard-won but marked by the intense struggle within. The rain poured down in torrents, washing over the battlefield as if to cleanse the aftermath of the fierce confrontation. The city lights below flickered through the storm, a testament to the relentless struggle that had taken place.
Leo went to the edge of the pad then jumped off land cracking the ground beneath him looking at a bleeding Thor's Leo says "you know what i want" Thor's coughed up blood chuckling then looking up at Leo saying "Turtle, we are not so different, you and I, we wield chaos and bloodshed. But heed my final warning: cling to what you hold dear—your brothers, your ideals, your purpose. Without them, you risk becoming a mere shadow of your former self, like Yang, Jetstream, and myself. Keep your heart close, or you'll end up lost in the same abyss that consumed us all." he finished pulling out a phone holding it up Leo taking it Thor's hand then fell limply his eyes still wide seeing this Leo kneeled down closing his eyes his last expression showing his last moments of peace.
