"GV said he was late comin' cause he saved a girl from a bunch of Adepts." Zeno laughed.

Moniqa turned and loked curiously at Gunvolt.

"Did that really happen?" Moniqa queried.

Gunvolt nodded.

*End Flashback*

Naomi and Zeno kept joking about it until they actually met the girl and got to hear her side of the story. If anyone would've asked Gunvolt what day in his life he heard anybody say sorry the most, it certainly would've been that day.

"Is something wrong Naomi? You've been quiet for a little while now." Quinn worried.

"Everything's fine. Just remembering the time GV came ta work late, said he was walking some girl home. We didn't know he was serious 'till he brought her over. Boy was she a knockout, Zeno couldn't stop staring and she was sweet as a peach too." Naomi answered.

"R-really?" What did she look like?" Quinn pondered.

"Well, lemme think. She was about five foot five, with amber eyes and the cutest hair I ever saw. She definitely knew her way around pink." Naomi joked.

"What was her name?" Quinn asked, secretly growing jealous.

"Ha! Oh my gosh! I didn't know you could be jealous of yourself! It was you! Oh man, that's too funny." Naomi teased.

Quinn was embarrassed while Naomi was doubled over in laughter. This only made Quinn feel worse.

"Sorry, that was rude of me." Naomi apologized.

"Do you think Asimov should apologize?" Quinn questioned.

"He already did." Naomi notified.

"Is that why you took your job back?" Quinn inqueried.

"Nah, I just took it back 'cause I wanted to." Naomi elaborated.

"How's your life been?" Quinn wondered.

Naomi could only sigh in response.

"I just found a side to my sister I didn't even know she had. She stole my book and we got into a huge fight about it. As if that wasn't enough insult to injury, I was told that the entire fight was my fault! Probably because it was my book." Naomi ranted.

"Were there any reprocussions?" Quinn remarked.

"The maid told me to go stay in my room while she talked to my sister. Like I made her steal the book or something." Naomi fumed.

"Did you ever find out what your sister told the maid?" Quinn muttered.

"Not yet, but now that I think abut it I'll definitely have to ask." Naomi smiled as she left.

Naomi grinned to herself, wondering how Mytyl would take it when she heard that she would take her kindle back. If her sister protested, then Naomi would say "I don't trust you not to steal my books and since that was mine originally I want it back now." On her way home, Naomi thought it would be a good idea to buy Mytyl a blueberry muffin to soften the blow.

'Wouldn't softened butter technically be spreadable butter since butter usually comes in sticks? If you can fit one point three million earths inside the Sun, that wouldn't be right. Not only would the Sun damage the Earth if it was that close. It wouldn't be possible since not enough Earths exist to test that theory.

And it depends on the atom layer density of the Sun to try and fit that many Earths. It'd be a lot easier if everything self-replicated rather than some species. Why does't everything do that? It'd be easier so we wouldn't have a need for wildife refuges and conservations and stuff. What's up with that?' Naomi mentally droned.

However, Naomi instead found herself at the entrance to Gunvolt's apartment complex. She knocked on the door as Joule practically yanked Naomi into the apartment, threw her down on the couch and put a plate with a pile of cookies on Naomi's lap before she could even blink.

"W-what did I do?" Naomi stuttered frightfully.

"Nothing! I just thought you might like some more cookies is all." Joule denied.

"I'm good, I'm not too big on sweets. If anything, I prefer to drink them rather than eat them." Naomi explained.

"Huh?" Joule whispered.

"What's that supposed to mean?" Lumen asked.

"I prefer soda if I want something sugary. Which is not right now." Naomi elaborated.

Joule didn't hear the second part as she hurriedly took the plate of cookies, put them on the counter, whipped open the fridge, pulled out a can of Sprite and zoomed back to Naomi. The Septimal Striker shook her head.

"Thanks, but I'm good for right now." Naomi thanked.

Sulkingly, Joule too back the soda and went to grab a cookie off the plate on the counter. Naomi was on the left seat, Joule in the middle and Gunvolt on the right.

"Do you wanna watch a movie?" Joule offered.

Naomi went wide eyed in shock as she remembered what she said she'd do with Mytyl.

"Aw man! I totally forgot! I got so comfy I forgot I made plans with Mytyl! Thanks but maybe some other time gotta go bye!" Naomi panicked as she got up and made a bolt for the door.

Suddenly, Lumen's face went through the door. Naomi almost lost the grip she had on her consciousness and lost her grip on the doorknob.

"Can I come with you?" Lumen pleaded.

"Sure, if ya don't ever do that again." Naomi grumbled.

When she got to Mytyl's room, Naomi sat down on her sisters bed.

"So, what'd Nori tell ya?" Naomi queried.

"She said that what I did wasn't exactly a good idea and that next time I should probably just ask to borrow the book rather than try to steal it again. Also she said to keep your bookmark in its place." Mytyl explained.

Naomi nodded.

"Smart move. Just know that stealing can land you in some very bad situations with some very bad people." Naomi reminded.

Naomi went in her room and decided to chat with Lola. After laughing a little in her room about Odd's reaction to her increasing the saplings growth by 3 inches in 3 seconds, the girls went to the basement.
