Naomi was tweaking Lola's EX Weapons when Copen approached them.
"Hey, long time no see. So, what kind of trouble exactly have you gotten yourself into while I was gone, hm?" Naomi teased.
"What did you do?" Copen interrogated.
"You're asking about what I did!? If I were you I'd be thinking about what I did! Not only did you shoot someone, and not only did you steal a gun, or only trespass on private property. You shot someone on private propery with a stolen gun!" Naomi ranted.
"For your information that was not a Bullit, that was an EMP blast. That gun was borrowed and any accessible land is public property." Copen refuted.
"There's no hope with you sometimes." Naomi fumed as she went back to working on Lola.
Soon, Naomi noticed Mytyl peering over the counter.
"Out, I don't wanna see you near any of my stuff ever again." Naomi growled.
Mytyl proceeded to run off with Lola, who's AB Drive panel was on the workbench. Naomi tried to go after her. Only to slip on the freshly waxed floor and not only pulled her ankle, but twisted it as well. Nori heard the crash and went downstairs to see what the problem was. Nori knelt down next to Naomi and could only shake her head.
"Didn't you have a similar problem last month?" Nori remembered.
"Yeah, but the only difference this time was that it was Mytyl that was the problem." Naomi complained.
Nori rolled her eyes.
"She took off with Lola. Fine, check the bench if you don't believe me. Which clearly you don't." Naomi snarled with her arms folded.
She was tapping the floor with her right hand and holding her chin with the palm of her other hand. Nori stood up and noticed one of the combat pods panels on the workbench but no sign of the robot herself whatsoever. Filled with disbelief and the idea that Naomi hid Lola in her room to wrongfully place blame on Mytyl, Nori went upstairs to check Naomi's alibi. Naomi could only sit and wait for a verdict to be reached. Copen entered the room, finding Naomi standing angrily near the workbench using it as support while she stood.
"What happened here? Where's Lola?" Copen queried.
"Mytyl ran off with her." Naomi responded.
"That doesn't explain the first aid kit." Copen remarked as he poked said kit Nori left on the bench.
"After Mytyl ran off with Lola, I tried to go after them. Unfortunately, I forgot that the housekeeper had just recently waxed the floors. I'm pretty sure you can figure out what happened from there. If you need a hint the answer this time isn't that the housekeeper hates me." Naomi concluded.
"Oh, I see now. So, how are you feeling?" Copen pondered.
"Decent, but I'd be doin' a heck of a lot better if Mytyl would stop tryna steal my stuff." Naomi complained.
Then why aren't you going after her?" Copen queried.
"Nori advised that I don't move and risk injuring myself further." Naomi replied as she pointed to her sprained ankle.
"No, I'm not ready to give her back yet!" Mytyl yelled as she ran downstairs, away from Nori.
Copen grabbed Lola when Mytyl ran right next to him. Mytyl tried to reach but because of their height difference, Copen easily kept Lola out of her reach. He walked over to Naomi and returned Lola to her.
"Thanks, now I can finally finish those repairs. Those scraps against the Sumeragi have really begun to take their toll." Naomi sighed as she picked up her screwdriver and got back to work.
Mytyl sighed as well and her head drooped. Copen knelt down and placed his left hand on her right shoulder.
"Look, I get it that you want to play with Lola. But you can't right now while Naomi's repairing her." Copen informed.
Mytyl went upstairs back to her room and locked the door behind her.
"I know I wasn't being harsh or anything but she really needs to learn." Naomi muttered.
"I'm sorry I didn't believe you Naomi. It just seems a little peculiar that Mytyl's stolen two of your things in a row." Nori apologized.
"It almost makes me worry if she's been replaced by a clone." Naomi commented as she turned to look at Copen and smirked.
Noticing the thoughtful look on his face, she decided to make an inquiry.
"You wish that you only had to live with a clone of me instead of the real deal huh?" Naomi joked.
Copen could only look at his sister in confusion.
"Are you going to talk to her?" Copen wondered.
"Maybe later, right now I've got to update Lola's system. And upgrades take time you know. I'm sure that's something you know from experience. And I don't want Mytyl to try running past me and stealing Lola for a second time when I literally just got her back." Naomi denied.
"Do you want me to update her instead? Then you can go talk to Mytyl while I do it." Copen offered.
"Sure, her system doesn't need an entire reboot. All you need to do is add the revenger dot exe code to her A.S. Drive." Naomi notified.
"What is the program supposed to do exactly?" Copen asked.
"If anything happens in a fight that renders one of us incapable of fighting, the program will activate. It allows Lola to use her offensive skills without a prior command. It can also be unlocked manually as long as whoever's with her can still fight. And if she's taken out, it'll allow me to go into Overdrive as soon as she goes offline." Naomi explained.
She then went upstairs and knocked on Mytyl's bedroom door.
"Go away." Mytyl huffed.
