Mytyl had her knees under her chin and her arms hugging her legs. Naomi rolled her eyes as the Septimal Striker walked over to her bedroom and opened the door to her own bedroom. She shut it so Mytyl would think Naomi went in her room. Naomi went back to knock on Mytyl's bedroom door. Naomi stood to the right of her sister as she opened the door and penetrated her defenses by walking behind her into the room.
'This is too easy, she'd make a terrible spy, but a great distraction.' Naomi thought happily.
The experienced female assassin took her sisters extra good luck charm, diary, Rubix cube and other good luck charm that Nori didn't take. On the way out, Naomi snagged the math book for good measure. Completely oblivious to her burglarized room, Mytyl went back in. Shocked by the fact that her room had been broken into, Mytyl could only scream.
Copen bolted into the room like a bolt of crimson justice. When he was able to soak in the situation, Copen quite possibly may have been in more shock than even Mytyl. Copen was mad, his mouth twisted into a scowl with gritted teeth and curled fists.
'What kind of sick, twisted, demented, deviated monster could do such a thing?' Copen wondered angrily.
Naomi went downstairs to see if Lola was there so she could test the update. Naomi had made digital copies of her work schedule and sent them to the Lyoko warriors. She also made physical copies for Copen and Mytyl. The copies were for Copen and Mytyl's eyes only.
Naomi made one for Copen so if he wanted to help her on a mission or she asks for help he'd know when he could expect the call. And the copy for Mytyl was so she could know when Naomi would get home most likely. Copen gave Nori a copy so she could aid him in his research on the Sumeragi, QUILL, Septimas, even Naomi herself wasn't excluded from his scope. Naomi would soon find out what happened.
While letting Lola sleep and adjust to the new program, Naomi walked over to Nori who was looking at a familar piece of paper.
"Hey Nori, watcha lookin' at?" Naomi asked curiously.
"Copen gave me this strange piece of paper. I've been trying to understand what it means." Nori elaborated.
Panic struck Naomi like a bolt of lightning when she realized that the "code" on the page wasn't some obscure and primitive language. Rather, the time table for her work schedule.
"Uh, Nori, where did you get that paper from exactly?" Naomi worried.
"Copen gave it to me. Which is really strange because he didn't even tell me what it's for." Nori answered.
"If you want I'd be more than glad to take that paper off your hands. Did he say they were important or something?" Naomi questioned.
"All he said was I'd know what they were for." Nori added.
Naomi went upstairs to search for Copen. She found him comforting Mytyl as the two sat on her bed. Lola was watching over Naomi's left shoulder and floated to Mytyl and sat on her lap. Naomi sat on the left of Copen.
"What's going on? And what happened to this room? It looks like a herd of buffalo stampeded through here! The housekeeper definitely won't be happy about this." Naomi rambled.
"Someone stole my stuff." Mytyl wailed.
"Uh oh, that's not good." Naomi muttered.
"I suspect it was an inside job." Copen theorized.
"Inside job or not, this is serious. There's a criminal on the loose who's possibly going to steal more stuff." Naomi warned.
"What's going on? And what happened to this room? It looks like a herd of buffalo stampeded through here! The housekeeper definitely won't be happy about this." Naomi rambled.
"Someone stole my stuff." Mytyl wailed.
"Uh oh, that's not good. Maybe they got in through the window. You can close it both ways after all." Naomi muttered.
Copens suspicions spiked as Naomi said that.
"I'll check and see if the perpetrator is still on the premises." Copen declared as he secretly left for Naomi's room.
Upon entering, Copen noticed the room was pristine as usual. Scouring through the drawers of personal belongings proved no use. There was nothing unusual about her desk and he wouldn't dare go through Naomi's closet. Completely baffled by the fact that he was wrong for the first time ever, -in his opinion- Copen could only walk in the room and shake his head.
"See, I told you not to point your doubts at me so quick for a reason." Naomi mocked as Copen entered Mytyl's room.
Copen not only in that moment felt like a complete fool, but totally ashamed of himself as well. He had a hunch that Naomi was happy for another reason unknown to him at the time. Still, the confusion was beyond belief. What Copen didn't know however, was that Naomi did have Mytyl's items disguised in her room. Mytyl's diary seemed like a regular book, the Rubix cube was used as a paperweight on the desk, the math book was right next to the diary and the good luck charms were placed in Naomi's open jewelry box used for spare parts.
"Maybe a snack will cheer you up." Naomi smiled as she went to the kitchen to grab some fresh chocolate chip cookies.
Right in front of the kitchens double doors, Naomi was one foot in front of Nori, almost bumping into her. Oddly enough, she noticed the maid was carrying a plate of the cookies Naomi was just looking for.
"Oh, Naomi, you're just the person I was looking for. Could you take this upstairs to Copen and Mytyl? There's glasses of chocolate milk on the left counter too. But I'll bring those up in a second." Nori informed as she handed the tray of cookies to Naomi to take upstairs.
