Did she really know Asimov like she thought she did? Was there more to his past they didn't know about? And if so, what else was he possibly hiding?

"Dishonesty, all of it. I'm surprised Naomi that you would do such a thing. Maybe your work with the Sumeragi should be more permanent." Asimov remarked.

"You know it's true already, and so do I. I know someone who can verify that as quick as I can press the end call button. Two people in fact. Who would be working for the Sumeragi then, hm?" Naomi reminded.

Asimov grit his teeth. It seemed that the arguement concluded in a draw. Confused and hoping for clarification, Moniqa decided to ask a question.

"Hey Naomi, I know this isn't related to what you and Asimov were talking about. But I've been wondering, what's your last name?" Moniqa queried.

This caught Naomi completely off guard.

"Why do you need to know that?" Naomi worried.

"You do realize when you say that it makes you seem suspicious right?" Asimov notified.

"I just think it isn't neccessary since we all go by codenames or altered versions of our first names." Naomi fibbed as her lips curled into a scared smile to keep her screaming from going external.

Knowing there would be more questions being asked now, Naomi took a silent deep breath and tried to keep her cool.

"I don't remember, let me go check." Naomi doubted.

"She's upset. But you see this name here? That's the same last name that Naomi has." Asimov declared.

Moniqa was baffled when she found what Asimov was pointing at.

"B-but that person is dead!" Moniqa shouted.

"Since the accident took place in the nineteen nineties, that means the experiments took place most likely from anywhere between nineteen ninety to two thousand eight. When GV was born you were ten. But then, how old would that make- nevermind. I'll just ask one day when I get the chance." Naomi droned.

"You do know it's not nice to ask someone their age right?" Moniqa stated.

"Well then you can't as someone when their birthday is since you'll know their age older than just years." Naomi denied.

Moniqa shut up real quick after Naomi said that.

"When they say age is just a number I think they were referring to maturity rather than the physical state of ones body." Naomi huffed.

"And this is why you can't have two girls under one roof." Zeno retorted.

Gunvolt knew more about that than anyone else in the entire building. Lumen and Joule got into all sorts of arguements over what he thought to be rather dumb and annoying stuff. He rolled his eyes and sighed at the idea of Zeno being completely unaware of his knowledge. Regardless of his knowledge of the two girls existence, Zeno still seemingly didn't know a thing about people of the opposite gender.

"You do realize that you, Geeves an' Nova were all born the same year?" Zeno notified.

"Please, don't compare me to that menace." Naomi snarled.

"Who? GV?" Zeno interrogated.

"Good night no! Nova! For goodness flippin' sakes!" Naomi fumed.

"We could always compare you to someone else." Zeno mocked.

"There's a two year age gap between me and you, same way with GV. You're four years older than Xiao, six years younger than Moniqa and eight years younger than Asimov." Naomi reminded.

The person that Zeno decided to reference was none other than Sumeragi's burning wrath, Viper. Deciding it would be better to drop the matter and not get in anymore trouble, Naomi teleported to work, glared at Asimov, grabbed a few select files and went home. She was content to work on files and munch cookies. Unfortunately, a tap on the shoulder brought Naomi out of her thoughts. She turned to her left and saw Copen standing behind her. She turned her attention from the workbench.

"Mind if I join you?" Copen wondered.

"Sure, pull up a seat." Naomi agreed.

Copen got a folding chair from the right wall. He placed it next to Naomi who handed him two files.

"I need you to tell me anything of interest you see as soon as you see it." Naomi ordered.

Copen nodded and got right to work. Fifteen minutes later, they heard light footsteps coming down the stairs.

"I got left behind for work!?" Mytyl fumed.

"It's not for someone like you to worry about. Besides, I'm a hundred twenty percent certain that if you take so much as a single look at these files you'll go crying to mom." Naomi dared.

Mytyl puffed up her cheeks and balled up her fists in anger at the statement.

"I accept your puny little challenge. I'll triumph over it no problem." Mytyl cheered.

So, she sat on Naomi's chair as Naomi stood near her. Two hours later, Mytl was sniffling.

"Told ya she couldn't last long." Naomi remarked.

Naomi walked over to Mytyl so she could identify what she was so stressed out about. That's when she found that Mytyl was looking at the picture of Viper. His eyes were shut, right hand over the bullet hole to his chest, surrounded by a pool of his own blood.

"Hey, you said you could handle it. And that means if you go tell someone, then it's not my fault. I warned you so I'm in the right." Naomi rebuked.

Mytyl ran upstairs sobbing the whole way, eyes shut tight with tears and her left arm in front of her face.

"Well that's my butt." Naomi seethed.

"If you go ask that Jeremy Belpois friend of yours what he does to help with his research then I'll cover for you." Copen offered.

Naomi instantly teleported to Jeremy's dorm. Naomi noticed Jeremy fell asleep at his desk again.
