"My eyes are closed!" Naomi rebuked.

"Then how do you know that it was even on!?" Zeno growled.

"Not that! My eyes are closed in the footage! You must really take me for some kind of idiot." Naomi fumed.

Zeno took a closer look at the sword swinging heroine in the film and understood what Naomi meant.

"I'm sorry man, I didn't know what ya meant. But now that I see it we'll definitely have to bring this up to the boss." Zeno declared.

Naomi sank back into her seat.

"Hey, you okay there Naomi?" Zeno worried.

"In which sense?" Naomi panicked as her teeth started to chatter.

"I was gonna say mentally but now I'm wondering if any part of you is alright." Zeno stated.

"Emotionally, hope, physically fine at the moment, mentally in turmoil and my spirutual state is at a constant war with the forces around me." Naomi droned.

"You're in a constant war with yourself." Zeno retorted.

"Is it bad if I feel like I'm the villain in this story?" Naomi squeaked as she had her hands on her cheeks.

"I dunno man, it ain't my decision to make." Zeno doubted.

"Can we keep this from him? What if I make an offer you can't refuse? Or propose a bet?" Naomi offered.

"No way, boss man would kill me." Zeno denied.

Naomi pouted.

"And he'd prolly try to kill you too even though you're already dead." Zeno joked.

"I could kill you since you already asked for it twice so you could shut up permanently." Naomi threatened.

Zeno was silent for a moment.

"I'll see you in fiteen." Naomi announced.

When she reached the building, Naomi's heart was filled with dread. Looking up at HQ while directly in front of it, she hung her head.

'Let's just get this over with already. He probably knows anyway.' Naomi mentally ranted.

Kicking a rock while crossing the road, Naomi failed to notice Zeno, Gunvolt and Xiao across the street entering the crosswalk. Xiao was the first to notice Naomi, pointing her out to Zeno and Gunvolt. Naomi waved as they walked over.

"Hey, uh, is work out or something and Moniqa's staying with the boss to finish up?" Naomi wondered.

"Uh, actually, we were told to clear out so you could talk with the boss." Zeno explained.

"Is it really that bad?" Naomi worried.

"It seemed like it." Xiao assured.

Naomi started feeling nauseous.

"That's it! I'm done! I've had it and I'm quitting for the rest of the day!" Naomi ranted.

"Oh no you don't," Zeno rebuked as he grabbed Naomi's left shoulder from behind. "You'd better go in there and get that over with or that'll be the last thing you'll ever do."

Naomi was wide eyed and filled with paranoia.

"A-are you trying to imply that you'll track me down and beat me up within an inch of my death? Because I totally don't care and find that threat absolutely laughable." Naomi mocked.

"The only thing that's going to happen is you getting fired if you don't hurry up already." Zeno fumed.

"Fine, fine, but if things go sideways I'm blaming it all on you." Naomi huffed as she stormed inside the building.

Naomi found Moniqa and Asimov talking on the eighth floor. The last time Naomi saw Moniqa as panicked as she was now was when Gunvolt was sent out to destroy Lumen. Naomi wasn't sure whether to walk over and interrupt or back away slowly.

"I'd heard of sleepwalking but this is a whole other level." Moniqa gasped.

"Talk about being an experienced combatant. Wait, who are we talking about exactly?" Naomi queried.

Moniqa, wide eyed in shock, looked at Naomi, the footage, Naomi, footage and back at Naomi.

"At this point I'd hire a cat if one walked in." Asimov declared.

"Because I'm fired for being terrible at espionage?" Naomi squeaked nervously.

"I should've fired you a long time ago if I would've known any of this." Asimov informed.

Naomi gulped. She started shivering, shaking and quivering.

"You're quaking worse than the San Andreas fault line." Moniqa commented.

"Well I'm pretty sure you would too if you were on the end of this kind of trouble and running the risk of losing your job." Naomi retorted.

"Why didn't you tell me you fight while you sleep? Or that you get experimented on while you sleep?" Asimov interrogated.

"Huh? I don't understand." Naomi muttered.

"We found this footage after the hack of the Datastore." Asimov notified as Moniqa pressed play.

Naomi was wearing her transformation outfit and running down a white hall. Nine Sumeragi soldiers were following her, soon turning into fifteen when six more caught up. Reaching halfway through a hall, a metal shutter closed off the girls path to freedom. Turning aound to confront the enemy, Naomi attacked using Psycalibur to slash them all down within a single strike. Before eradicating the enemies, Naomi saw Dr. Kamizono with the palm of his left hand on his forehead. His assistant was to the right of him.

"That's the sixth time this week." Dr. Kamizono sighed.

Nbody could hear the talking though since it was muted. Puasing the footage, everyone was silent. Some eyes filled with shock, others filled with betrayl and Asimov was trying to control his anger. Naomi tensed up and slowly backed away by two paces.

"Technically, you still work for the Sumeragi then, don't you?" Asimov noticed.

"No I don't, you clearly saw that I was putting up a fight against those soldiers so you can't say that!" Naomi rebuked.

"You do realize that contract didn't turn your custody over to the Sumeragi right?" Asimov notified.

"W-wh-what? I-I don't understand." Naomi stuttered.
