When Moniqa opened the door, Naomi was excited. She went right to the couch. It was dark green with a red and black plaid pattern.

"Woah! Your couch is so cool! I've never seen one with a pattern before! We should totally get one for the office." Naomi commented.

Moniqa put her jacket on a hanger on hook on the wall to the right of the door. The entrance led directly to a hallway, with the living room being on the right side. The bedroom, bathroom and laundry room were all forward in the hall. Moniqa's floors were oak floorboards. She had a birch table in the kitchen with rounded feet.

"I'm going to get started with dinner. In the meantime you'll want to finish your snack. It'll take me thirty five minutes to get dinner made." Moniqa informed.

The kitchen and living room were connected so Moniqa could see Naomi and vice versa. Naomi walked over to the kitchen to see Moniqa grabbing a steak knife and wooden cutting board.

"Can I help?" Naomi offered.

"Sure, you can grab the ingredients. I need potatoes, beef, onions, carrots, tomatoes, bell peppers, corn, cabbage, hot sauce, ,salt, pepper and worchestershire sauce. You can find all of it in the fridge." Moniqa declared.

"Watch your sister what? I already watch my sister, constantly too. Since a certain someone does a terrible job of keeping an eye on her anyways." Naomi retorted.

"It's worches- forget it. It's the bottle with a funny name." Moniqa sighed.

Naomi collected all the requested ingredients and placed them two at a time, three if possible, onto the counter.

"Thanks, can you make some rice too?" Moniqa hoped.

"How much?" Naomi wondered.

"Just one cup." Moniqa answered.

Naomi fixed the rice and went to sit down.

"You can turn the TV on if you want! And set your snack down on the table!" Moniqa shouted from the kitchen.

There was a birch coffee table in the living room that Naomi set her drink and styrofoam snack cup down on.

"Are you sure you don't want my last cinnamon stick?" Naomi queried as she stuck her head into the kitchen, waving her last stick snack in the air.

"I'm good, you need to eat it because dinner won't be ready for a little while." Moniqa assured.

So, Naomi sat down and turned on the TV. She was surprised to see a movie on she heard of before. Odd mentioned it once, Naomi found it funny that the movie was on in Japan. Odd said it was called Petals of Desire and was a really good romance movie.

After checking all the other channels, Naomi found nothing of interest on. Seemingly, she was stuck watching a sappy movie. Apparently, this man was on a date with his new girlfriend. His ex girlfriend walked by and put poison powder into his drink.

The girlfriend noticed this and "accidentally" knocked the glass over. The man's shirt got all wet, so the girl got a napkin. While trying to clean it up, the guy pulled the girl in for a kiss.

"Ugh, gross, next channel." Naomi gagged as she pressed the channel+ button.

That's when Naomi saw that one of her favorite movies was on. When she checked the time to see how much she had missed, she found the movie was just starting. And that wasn't all, the other two movies would be on after. Naomi was so elated she ran to the doorway to tell Moniqa.

"The men in black trilogy is on! You're gonna miss it!" Naomi squealed.

"Huh? Are you talking about the ones that hunt down aliens?" Moniqa guessed.

"Yeah! They have movies for them! Three of them! The first one's on right now!" Naomi cheered.

"I never thought I'd see you so excited for something." Moniqa doubted.

"Well, it's science fiction and my life seems like something out of a sci fi novel so..." Naomi droned.

Moniqa made a mental note that if she ever met Naomi's parents, to ask them how they survived having three children. Especially Naomi, with how rambunctious she was. Or maybe it was just the fact that she gave the Septimal Striker sugar.

"Um, this restaurant nearby is supposed to have cinnamon pull aparts. If you still want to share something with me and aren't tired of cinnamon, we can get some tomorrow and bring them to work." Moniqa suggested.

Naomi got sad, which was the last thing Moniqa expected. She instantly quit stirring, hurriedly took the giant metal spoon out of the pot, put it on the counter and ran to check on Naomi.

"Why are you so sad all of a sudden?" Moniqa worried.

"Why didn't you want my cinnamon stick then?" Naomi pouted.

"No no no, I'm not hungry right now. I'm just saying we can bring some to work to share with everyone tomorrow." Moniqa explained.

Naomi stopped sniffling.

"I didn't know you could be this sensitive about people's needs." Moniqa noticed.

"I try to be as attentive as possible. My job's literally to help people after all. No matter which side I'm on." Naomi smiled.

Moniqa smiled too. She felt bad for the girl currently seated on her couch. And Moniqa couldn't help but ponder on a question from earlier. She sat herself to the left of Naomi, crossing her left leg over her right and stretching her right arm out on the back of the chair.

"Asimov hasn't found anything else out yet. He said he'll let me know when he does." Moniqa informed.

"I, hate, myself. I'm gonna be sick. Especially when I get an explanation of what the heck's going on with me." Naomi mumbled under her breath, hoping Moniqa wouldn't hear.

"It was a shock to everybody at Quill." Moniqa added.
