Shoko had finally returned with the two new transfers in tow. Well one of them was the actual transfer, the other one would be filling in as a supervisor. She was fairly tall with dark eyes, dark brown short hair and she was wearing a black suit, much like our own supervisors. The other one though, was shorter, with long black hair, full bangs, pale skin and hazel coloured eyes. I had to admit, she was nice to look at and pretty cute. But something was bothering me.

Shoko introduced us all to the new supervisor named Jane and the transfer student Giulietta.

'You can call me Gigi though!' She said in surprisingly good Japanese. Masamichi had informed me earlier that Jane the supervisor was of Japanese descent and that she was fluent in the language. "Gigi" however had only been learning a few months since she was informed of the transfer. So I was wondering how advanced she was. Thankfully, I thought my English was quite decent. I don't know why and I don't know who this girl was, but she was making me just a little edgy. Not exactly something I was telling everyone, just myself. For now.

One of our supervisors had come by to tell us that a curse had turned up near an abandoned warehouse not far away. Two kids had died playing in that warehouse in the last month and the occasional homeless person had been found dead in there every so often. The company that owned the warehouse hadn't done anything about it at all except get the police involved when needed. The place wasn't secure so anybody and everybody could go in. The locals in the area were mourning the children and were directing their hate toward the absent company and their lack of care.

Nanami and Haibara stayed behind at the school, while the rest of us were taken to the warehouse. As we all piled out of the van that brought us down, I watched as the new girl slung a padded black case over her shoulder that she retrieved from the trunk.

'If it's okay everyone, I'd like to cast the veil.' Jane spoke up. Everyone nodded. Within moments, the veil had been brought down with us just inside it.

'I think the new girl should deal with this one.' I grinned directly at her. She turned round after hearing my voice and glared me down, matching my grin with her own.

I watched as Gigi took the thin padded bag off her shoulder and unzipped it on the ground. Inside it was a strange looking black leather holster containing something that looked like a dagger, she handed this over to Jane That wasn't the thing that warranted a long case though, she then pulled a hockey stick which she handed to Jane. Shoko, Suguru and I made ourselves comfortable on a low wall at the entrance to the buildings parking lot and watched the new girl; as she prepared herself by taking off her blazer, looping the holster round her arms before finally, rolling the sleeves up on her shirt. She fist bumped Jane and turned to us, slinging the hockey stick in her right hand on to her shoulder and loosening her tie with her left hand.

'Back in a bit guys.' She winked and stuck her tongue out before jogging off toward the building with a skip in her step. So it seemed she had some confidence, but I wondered if she had the skills to back it up?

'So, what do you guys think?' Shoko said as she lit a cigarette, a slight smirk on her face.

'She seems nice enough. There is one thing bothering me though…' Suguru started.

'She has no cursed energy.' I said before anyone else could. If what my six eyes were telling me was true, then the new girl Gigi; had absolutely no cursed energy. None. Then a strange giggle interrupted us.

'Ah see, that's where you're wrong. Gigi is special. She has cursed energy, loads of it. You just can't see it.' Jane said.

'What do you mean, can't see it?' Suguru was asking the questions I wanted to know. Questions my six eyes weren't answering.

'It's part of her innate technique, or maybe inherited technique we don't know. Giulietta seems to have control over some pretty complicated matter… that can't be seen.'

'I still don't get it.' Said Shoko as she carried on smoking.

'You mean anti-matter, or dark matter.' I said. I pulled my sunglasses down a little and focussed on Gigi who was casually making her way up the parking lot. Still nothing.

'And possibly dark energy. We're not sure. That's why we're over here, hopefully we may find out exactly what the deal is because none of us really know. Gigi can use her abilities but not all of them. We don't even know if it runs in her family, hell we don't even know what grade she would be.' Jane continued.

The new transfer student known as Giulietta, was an unknown. A complete unknown. And she was currently stood on top of a burnt out car in front of the abandoned warehouse, jumping up and down and beating it with her hockey stick. She was shouting and screaming in English.

'OI! WHERE ARE YOU, YOU DUMB CURSE? GET OUT HERE NOW I WANNA PLAY!'

She banged and stomped on the car repeatedly in order to lure the curse out. I could feel the energy of the curse making it's way out of the building, irritated and drawn to Gigi from the noise she was making. Like all curses, it was ugly. This one looked like a cross between a leech and some kind of lizard, with shiny slimy skin, teeth in places there shouldn't have been teeth and sharp claws on the end of it's gross digits. It was tall too, around four meters or so and just plain disgusting.

I would say this curse was probably around a grade two at least. But because I couldn't read the new girl, I couldn't guess what grade she was at or how strong she was. We just had to sit back and watch.

'About time, you piece of shit. Right then, my turn first.'

We settled in to watch. As soon as the new girl started to advance on the curse, it rapidly launched itself at her claws protruding. Needless to say it missed. Gigi somehow flipped upwards to the height of the curse, back flipping effortlessly and kicking the thing in what I think was it's face. She landed neatly and continued flipping backwards, still with the hockey stick in her hand.

'So that's how it is huh? Fine.'

This is where it got interesting. The new girl definitely did have an interesting technique. You could feel her cursed energy when she used it which was weird, like she literally had an on and off switch for it. She was channelling this weird feeling cursed energy in to the hockey stick, along with a chunk of rubble that she was levitating off the ground. I didn't know much about anti-matter or dark matter or even dark energy or whatever, but I did know about my own techniques and abilities; Gigi's to me felt almost familiar when she used them. Her techniques reminded me of mine. Similar, but different.

She started to levitate other random bits of rubble, charging them with her energy and with quick succession, hit every single piece with her hockey stick at the curse. The rubble chunks were hit with such force that they ended up embedded in the flesh of the curse.

'This is the fun bit. Gigi's extension technique… Implosion.'

I could hear a high pitched whining sound coming from the curse. The half dozen chunks of rubble seemed to draw the surrounding flesh of the curse in and with a loud popping noise, the chunks just disappeared in on themselves. It was impressive I'll give her that, but she hadn't poured that much energy in to it. The curse had been significantly weakened though and was now trying it's hardest to hit her. She wasn't even moving at any speed and was effectively dodging it's every attack, she didn't even need to do any flips; it was as if her technique had continued drawing the curse into… whatever it had done to thing. I don't know, some sort of gravitational pull? A miniature black hole?

Everything got a lot more interesting now. The new girl dashed over to the building and without stopping, ran up the side of it. Her technique was keeping her feet glued to the wall as she charged up at an inhuman speed. Reaching the top of the nearly four storey derelict building, Gigi kicked off and flew through the air back toward the curse. I could see everything happening in near slow motion. She twisted through her back somersault and gently drew a blade from the holster slung round her shoulders. The blade was unusual; quite a long dagger with a distinct V shaped blade, stiletto pointed at the tip but wider at the base where the blade met the guard and handle.

On her descent, her energy made an appearance again and was poured in to the weird shaped dagger. Holding it in both her hands, the blade effortlessly cut the curse in half as she slashed it downwards from the curses head to whatever it's toes were. The high pitched screeching noise happened again but this time, the edges of the curses body where the blade had cut through had started to bubble. Then the curses entire body began to bubble and within a few seconds, it blew up; flesh and blood everywhere. The new girl stood in front of her kill and started laughing, throwing her hair back as she cackled. She turned around with a huge, slightly maniacal grin on her face; her energy now nowhere to be seen or sensed again.

She was a true sorcerer. Not afraid and possibly just a little bit mad.
