The clash between Issei and Cao Cao seemed inevitable in the battlefield's silence. The air crackled with anticipation, and the weight of their respective powers hung heavy in the atmosphere.
Suddenly, without warning, Cao Cao lunged forward with incredible speed, his spear aimed directly at Issei's heart. Issei reacted swiftly, sidestepping the attack with fluid grace, narrowly avoiding the lethal strike.
As Cao Cao pressed his assault, Issei countered with a powerful thrust of the Unstoppable Spear. The spear sliced through the air with unparalleled speed, aiming for Cao Cao's head with deadly accuracy.
However, Cao Cao's enhanced reflexes allowed him to block Issei's attack, bringing up his spear at the last moment. But, the moment Issei's spear hit Cao Cao's own, Cao Cao was pushed back with tremendous force, sending the Hero flying backwards at high speeds.
Cao Cao skidded across the battlefield, struggling to regain his footing after the powerful clash. The Unstoppable Spear's concept of an unstoppable force lived up to its name, demonstrating its ability to push Cao Cao back despite his enhanced strength. The ground where Issei thrust the spear cracked and splintered from the power of the Unstoppable Spear
Noticing that True Longinus was still in one piece despite taking a direct hit from his spear, Issei pondered, "His spear is still in one piece? I guess it's stronger than I give it credit for."
Issei, maintaining his stance, observed Cao Cao's reaction to the power of the Unstoppable Spear. The black and gold weapon had proven effective, showcasing its ability to push even someone as formidable as Cao Cao with its unstoppable force.
Cao Cao, recovering from the impact, glared at Issei with frustration and determination. The seven orbs surrounding him showed renewed intensity, signifying his unwavering resolve to continue the battle.
"Interesting choice of weapon, Hyoudou. However, don't think for a moment that a mere spear can decide the outcome of our battle," Cao Cao remarked, his voice filled with arrogance and defiance. With a swift motion, he unleashed a barrage of attacks using the abilities granted by his Balance Breaker.
The orange orb, Wheel Treasure, glowed brightly as Cao Cao swung his True Longinus, aiming for the Unstoppable Spear. The orb met Issei's spear, but to Cao Cao's shock, the orb was deflected away effortlessly; the same orb supposed to destroy weapons couldn't destroy the spear that Issei wielded.
Responding to Cao Cao's remark, "It's ironic coming from you." Issei's words cut through the tension of the battlefield, his tone devoid of emotion as he faced Cao Cao. The Unstoppable Spear twirled in his hand with practised ease, its black and gold design shimmering with latent power.
As the orange orb failed to fulfil its intended purpose, Cao Cao's eyes widened in disbelief. The Unstoppable Spear effortlessly deflected the Wheel Treasure, showcasing the potency of its concept. Issei's retort added a layer of irony to the situation, highlighting the unexpected turn of events.
Seizing the opportunity presented by the unexpected deflection, Cao Cao activated the purple orb, Horse Treasure. Instantly, he disappeared from his current position, reappearing with blinding speed right before Issei. The sudden teleportation caught Issei briefly off guard, demonstrating Cao Cao's strategic prowess.
Cao Cao's right eye started glowing yellow, indicating that he planned to use Medusa's eye to turn Issei into stone.
"He doesn't have his Scale Mail activation; nothing is saving him from the petrification," Cao Cao thinks darkly.
However, to his shock, Issei activated his Balance Breaker at the last moment. Issei's Scale Mail started in a burst of red light, forming a protective armour around him just as Cao Cao attempted to use Medusa's eye.

Instantly, Issei's entire scale mail turned into stone; as Issei's Scale Mail turned into stone, an eerie silence fell upon the battlefield. The transformation happened with astonishing speed, and the once-dynamic energy of the confrontation seemed to freeze along with Issei's petrified form.
However, a moment later, Issei broke out from the petrification by shedding the outer layer of the scale mail, revealing a new scale mail underneath, which was now an obsidian black colour.
Stunned by the sudden turn of events, Cao Cao could only watch in disbelief as Issei emerged from the unscathed petrification, his new form radiating with an ominous aura. The obsidian-black Scale Mail absorbed the surrounding light.
"He's using that scale mail again!" Cao Cao thinks in anger, remembering that Issei used this exact Scale mail in their earlier fight to negate the effects of Medusa's petrifications.
Thinking quickly, Cao Cao decides to not only prettify Issei's scale mail but also drive True Longinus through his body before he has time to shed the stoned exterior. As Cao Cao aimed to capitalise on the opportunity, he lunged forward with remarkable speed, True Longinus poised to strike. The yellow glow in his eyes intensified as he focused on petrifying Issei's Scale Mail once more. However, this time, Cao Cao aimed to follow up with a decisive strike, planning to drive True Longinus through Issei's stoned form before he could shed the exterior.
However, to Cao Cao's shock, the new obsidian scale mail not only devours light but reflects images like a mirror, thereby reflecting the petrifying gaze of Medusa's eye onto Cao Cao, causing large parts of Cao Cao's bangs to turn stone.
His initial confidence wavered as Cao Cao witnessed the unexpected turn of events. The obsidian-black Scale Mail that Issei now donned proved a formidable defence against Medusa's petrifying gaze. Cao Cao's eyes widened as he was caught in the reflection of his attack.
"No... this can't be!" Cao Cao exclaimed in shock as he felt the stone-like transformation creeping through his hair. Large portions of his once-flowing bangs turned to stone, frozen in place by the gaze he had intended for Issei.
Taking advantage of the situation, Issei smirked as he observed Cao Cao's petrified hair. The obsidian-black Scale Mail radiated an ominous aura, emphasising its ability to resist and reflect the effects of petrification. Issei's eyes glowed with a blood-red intensity, reflecting the power surging within him.
"You're probably wondering what just happened; allow me to explain," Issei says with a confident underlying smirk.
"Yes, this is the exact scale mail I used against you in the artificial dimension. But, I have made upgrades to it; this scale mail will analyse everything and anything, such as my opponent's fighting style and the attacks I'm hit by. When my scale mail sheds, it takes in all the information and adapts to counter everything it analysed. When you turned by scale mail to stone, the scale mail made an adaption which would counter the petrifying gaze by turning the armour into a pseudo mirror which reflected the petrifying gaze onto you," Issei explained, his voice carrying a sense of satisfaction.
Cao Cao's shock deepened as he realised the intricacies of Issei's upgraded Scale Mail. The obsidian-black armour resisted the petrifying gaze and cleverly reflected it back onto him. Issei's explanation shed light on the adaptability and analytical capabilities of the newfound scale mail.
"But no, it doesn't stop there. The longer we fight, the more my scale mail will analyse and adapt, and soon enough, you will be powerless against me", Issei finishes.
Issei's revelation sent a chill down Cao Cao's spine, realising the full extent of the upgraded Scale Mail's capabilities. The prospect of facing an opponent whose armour adapted and countered his every move filled him with dread. This was why Issei waited an hour after defeating Shalba and before entering the Underworld to stop the Anti-Monsters; he had been working on this specific Scale Mail. Due to being done within the hour, the Scale Mail isn't perfect, such as when Issei does the analysis and adaptation. This works by enhancing Issei's mental capabilities with his speed thinking ability. This means that if Issei has this Scale Mail activated for too long, he may burn out his brain.
Chuckling internally, Issei said to his resident soul, "Ddraig, the Scale Mail is working better than expected" he said to his partner.
"I can see that, although I don't know how I feel about you using this as your test run rather than doing a test run beforehand", Ddraig replied with a bit of uncertainty.
Despite the setback, Cao Cao maintained his composure, his mind racing as he assessed the situation. The stone-like portions of his hair served as a stark reminder of the danger he faced, but he refused to yield to despair.
"Let's see how you fare against my next move," Cao Cao declared, his voice unwavering as he prepared to unleash his next attack.
With a swift motion, Cao Cao activated the remaining orbs of his Balance Breaker, each glowing with renewed intensity. He used Horse Treasure to teleport away to recover while using Householder Treasure to create a horde of warriors to attack Issei while he recovers. The summoned warriors, created through the power of Householder Treasure, advanced with relentless determination; their weapons were drawn and ready for battle.
Seeing Cao Cao's retreat, Issei scoffed, "Of course, he would run away", he said out loud with disdain.
As the warriors approached, Issei spun the Unstoppable Spear around him. In an instant, the spear extended, becoming as long as an entire city block. Spinning the spear around, he destroyed the warriors and cut all the buildings caught up in the spear's range along with the ground the extended spear hit. The cut-up building pieces separated from their lower parts and floated in the air in suspended animation, the concept of the unstoppable force exuding its power onto the buildings.
Observing the devastation from a safe distance, Cao Cao gritted his teeth in frustration. Despite his best efforts, Issei's newfound power proved to be more formidable than he had anticipated. The relentless assault of the Unstoppable Spear left little room for a counterattack, forcing Cao Cao to reconsider his strategy.
"Impossible... How can one wield such power?" Cao Cao muttered to himself, his expression a mixture of disbelief and determination. Despite the overwhelming odds, he refused to back down; he resolved unbroken in the face of adversity.
Suddenly, Issei disappeared and reappeared near Cao Cao. "Had enough time to plan?" Issei asks coldly before thrusting his spear towards Cao Cao.
Cao Cao's eyes widened in surprise as Issei appeared before him with lightning speed, his Unstoppable Spear aimed directly at him. Reacting on instinct, Cao Cao brought up his True Longinus in a desperate attempt to block the incoming attack.
The clash between the two legendary weapons sent shockwaves rippling through the air, creating a storm of energy that engulfed the battlefield. Issei's Unstoppable Spear, infused with the concept of an unstoppable force, collided with Cao Cao's True Longinus, sparking a cascade of sparks and raw power.
The impact force sent Cao Cao skidding backward, his feet leaving dust trails as he struggled to maintain his footing. Issei pressed forward relentlessly, his eyes burning with determination as he unleashed a flurry of attacks with unmatched precision.
Each swing of the Unstoppable Spear displayed overwhelming force, and Issei relentlessly pushed Cao Cao to the brink. The obsidian-black Scale Mail enhanced his every movement, making each strike faster and more powerful than the last.
Despite his tenacity, Cao Cao found himself on the defensive, desperately parrying Issei's strikes. The clash between the Unstoppable Spear and True Longinus echoed across the battlefield, a symphony of divine and mythical energies colliding in a fierce struggle.
Seizing the opportunity, Issei unleashed a powerful thrust aimed at Cao Cao's chest. However, Cao Cao, drawing upon the enhanced abilities of his Balance Breaker, narrowly evaded the attack by teleporting a short distance away.
Gritting his teeth, Cao Cao realised the dire situation he was in. Issei's upgraded abilities and the mythical Unstoppable Spear posed a significant challenge, pushing him to the limits of his strategic prowess.
But there was no time for rest for Cao Cao as Issei reappeared next to him, swinging his spear across Cao Cao's body. As Cao Cao barely managed to block Issei's strike with his own spear, the sheer force behind the Unstoppable Spear sent shockwaves reverberating through his body. Despite his best efforts, Cao Cao found himself overwhelmed by the unstoppable force, his grip on True Longinus faltering as he struggled to maintain his stance.
With a resounding clash, Cao Cao was sent hurtling backward, crashing through multiple buildings with incredible force. The impact rattled his bones, sending waves of pain coursing through his body as he collided with the unyielding structures.
Through sheer willpower, Cao Cao managed to regain his bearings amidst the chaos, his body aching from the punishment inflicted by Issei's relentless assault. Despite the pain, his resolve remained unbroken, his eyes burning with determination as he faced his formidable opponent once more.
As he struggled to rise from the rubble, Cao Cao's mind raced, formulating a new strategy to turn the tide of battle in his favour. With his enhanced abilities and unwavering resolve, he refused to concede defeat, knowing that victory was within his reach.
Cao Cao, determined to gain the upper hand, swiftly activated the green orb, Elephant Treasure, enhancing his strength to manipulate the environment to his advantage. Focusing on a nearby intact building, he exerted his newfound power to levitate the massive structure into the air.
The colossal building hovered ominously above Cao Cao, its sheer size and weight a testament to the enhanced strength granted by the Elephant Treasure. With a decisive gesture, Cao Cao directed the levitating building toward Issei, aiming to crush him under the weight of the formidable projectile.
Aware of the impending threat, Issei assessed the situation with a calculating gaze, "Flinging a building at me? Is this payback for what I did to Heracles?" he said with a chuckle. The Unstoppable Spear twirled in his hand, ready for the impending clash. As the building hurtled towards him, Issei's red eyes glowed with intensity.
Instead of dodging the incoming structure, Issei raised the Unstoppable Spear. With a powerful thrust, he propelled the spear toward the airborne building, the concept of the unstoppable force resonating within the weapon.
The Unstoppable Spear struck the building with unparalleled force, creating a shockwave that rippled through the air. The collision between the mythical weapon and the levitating structure produced an explosion of energy, scattering debris in all directions.
Cao Cao, capitalising on Issei's focus on countering the levitating building, seized the opportunity to deploy a cunning strategy. The Horse Treasure orb sped towards Issei, prompting him to prepare for a potential close-quarters confrontation. Anticipating Cao Cao's teleportation, Issei readied himself for a counterattack.
However, to Issei's surprise, Cao Cao had employed a cunning strategy. The Horse Treasure orb split open in a flash, revealing the concealed General Treasure orb within. The unexpected move caught Issei off guard, his red eyes widening with realisation as Cao Cao exploited the element of surprise.
The General Treasure orb emanated a vibrant orange glow, signifying its destructive power. The General Treasure orb struck Issei with unyielding force, unleashing a powerful explosion upon impact. The blast sent shockwaves rippling through the battlefield, and Issei was propelled backward with incredible speed. He crashed through several buildings, leaving a trail of destruction in his wake.
While Issei got hit, his thoughts rang through his head, "This power, it reminds me of their power", he thinks as he remembers Rias and Sirzechs's Power of Destruction.
The force of the explosion dispersed Issei's aura, and for a moment, the battlefield fell into an eerie silence. As the dust settled, Cao Cao observed the aftermath of his strategic maneuver, a determined expression on his face.
Cao Cao wasted no time and swiftly teleported to where Issei had landed. The dust cloud obscured Issei's form, and Cao Cao cautiously approached, True Longinus at the ready. He remained vigilant, aware that Issei could not be underestimated, especially amid battle.
To his surprise, the dust began to clear, revealing an empty-scale mail husk and signifying that Issei's scale mail has already analysed, shredded and adapted to General Treasure. Cao Cao's eyes widened in astonishment as he witnessed the empty husk of Issei's Scale Mail amid the settling dust. The revelation that Issei's armour had already been analysed, shredded, and adapted to the power of the General Treasure left Cao Cao in a state of disbelief.
"This can't be... his armour adapts that quickly?" Cao Cao muttered to himself, a sense of urgency creeping into his thoughts. The unexpected adaptability of Issei's Scale Mail posed a significant challenge, and Cao Cao realised that defeating his opponent required more than just brute force.
Issei burst through the dissipating dust at incredible speeds, his Unstoppable Spear aimed with precision at Cao Cao. The obsidian-black Scale Mail radiated a newfound intensity, its adaptability and resilience on full display. Cao Cao, caught off guard by the swift retaliation, reacted with heightened reflexes.
In a desperate move, Cao Cao activated his blue orb, Pearl Treasure, hoping to redirect the impending strike. Cao Cao's attempt to divert the attack with the Pearl Treasure orb proved futile, as Issei effortlessly swatted the orb away with a single swing of his spear.
The orb soared through the air, redirected toward a nearby ruined building. As it collided with the structure, the Pearl Treasure's blue glow intensified, triggering a chain reaction. The building crumbled under the redirected energy, sending debris and dust scattering across the battlefield.
During this event, Issei noticed something about Cao Cao's seven orbs, "He has to wait until the orb goes off before he creates the same orb again and re-use it. Meaning that if his orb doesn't activate, he can't create a new one to re-use it" he analyses
Issei's keen observation of Cao Cao's abilities provided valuable insight into his opponent's limitations. With this newfound understanding, Issei adjusted his tactics accordingly, focusing on exploiting Cao Cao's vulnerabilities.
As Issei continued his relentless assault, thrusting the Unstoppable Spear towards Cao Cao with unwavering determination, Cao Cao reacted swiftly. Realising that evading the attack was his best action, Cao Cao activated his green orb, Elephant Treasure, to levitate himself away from Issei's strike.
Cao Cao lifted off the ground with a burst of power, soaring into the air with remarkable agility. Issei's spear missed its target, striking the ground below with tremendous force. The impact unleashed the full power of the Unstoppable Spear, obliterating the terrain and sending shockwaves rippling outward.
The force of the collision caused the ground to crack and fracture, creating a massive crater in its wake. Debris and dust filled the air, obscuring the battlefield in chaos. Meanwhile, Cao Cao maintained his aerial advantage, surveying the aftermath of the devastating strike from above. The levitation the Elephant Treasure orb granted allowed him to manoeuvre freely, evading Issei's attacks while formulating his next move.
Curious about Issei's spear, Cao Cao asked, "That spear, what exactly is it?" being someone who wielded a mighty spear, he was interested in what Issei's spear did.
Issei, his gaze never leaving Cao Cao, took a moment to respond as he twirled the Unstoppable Spear expertly in his hand. "This spear," he began, his voice calm yet filled with conviction, "contains the concept of the unstoppable force".
Cao Cao's eyes widened in astonishment as he processed Issei's explanation. The concept of an unstoppable force embedded within the Unstoppable Spear held profound implications, challenging the very foundation of Cao Cao's understanding of combat.
"The concept of an unstoppable force..." Cao Cao repeated, his voice tinged with awe and apprehension. The implications of such a weapon were staggering, and Cao Cao couldn't help but feel a sense of unease at the thought of facing its power head-on.
Issei nodded in confirmation, his expression serious yet resolute. "Indeed," he replied, his red eyes locking onto Cao Cao's. "With this spear, I can pierce through anything, regardless of the obstacles in my path. And if something is indestructible, it will push it back with tremendous force, but if I were to throw the spear... well, that's a whole different ballpark," he finished cryptically with a smirk.

The Unstoppable Spear this weapon was gifted to Issei by the system after he finished his training in his time-dilated dimension before the rating game against Sairaorg. The reason why Issei didn't use it sooner was that he wasn't strong enough to wield it until recently. This is because of the concept of the unstoppable force within the spear; this means the spear won't stop moving forward regardless of what gets in its way. If Issei were to let go of the spear suddenly, it would fly out of his hand and move in the direction it was facing; due to this, Issei found it challenging to store it in his weapon room.
To counter this, Issei had created a small dimension within his dimension to store the spear; in this new dimension, the spear was allowed to run rampant; however, Issei needed to let go of the spear when it entered the portal to the dimension; if he were to throw it inside, it's ability of conceptual destruction would break through the smaller dimension and then through his main dimension, flying off to God knows where.
Cao Cao's eyes narrowed as he absorbed the implications of Issei's words. The concept of an unstoppable force wielded by the Unstoppable Spear struck a chord of unease within him. His experiences as a wielder of True Longinus and his encounters with various powerful beings had granted him a deep understanding of the significance of such conceptual weapons.
"So, a weapon that can pierce through anything and push back the indestructible... fascinating," Cao Cao mused, his tone a mix of curiosity and wariness. The revelation added a layer of complexity to their ongoing battle, and Cao Cao found himself strategising how to navigate the unpredictable nature of the Unstoppable Spear.
Issei's smirk persisted as he observed Cao Cao's reaction. The Unstoppable Spear twirled in his hand, its black and gold design catching the ambient light. Issei's red eyes bore into Cao Cao, reflecting determination and a hint of amusement at the strategic advantage the conceptual weapon bestowed upon him.
"Now that I've answered your question, can we continue fighting?" Issei asked, his voice carrying a subtle challenge. As Issei sheds the outer layer of his scale mail, a new layer is revealed underneath, signifying that his scale mail has adapted to something.
Cao Cao's wariness deepened as Issei shed the outer layer of his Scale Mail, revealing a new layer underneath. The adaptability of Issei's armour became increasingly apparent, and Cao Cao found himself contemplating the potential challenges posed by this ever-evolving defence.
"What did he adapt to now? I didn't attack him, so there was nothing to adapt to," Cao Cao contemplates, "Wait, didn't he say that the armour also analyses his opponent's fighting style? Does that mean that he adapted to MY fighting style?!"
"Very well, let the fight continue," Cao Cao responded, his voice steady, concealing the underlying concerns about Issei's ever-evolving capabilities.
The clash between Issei and Cao Cao reached a new level of intensity as they lunged at each other with their mighty spears. The Unstoppable Spear and True Longinus collided with a thunderous impact, sending shockwaves that cascaded through the battlefield. Their weapons danced in a chaotic symphony, cutting through multiple buildings and leaving destruction in their wake.
Cao Cao found himself on the back foot, struggling to keep up with Issei's relentless assault. The adaptability of Issei's Scale Mail, now seemingly attuned to Cao Cao's fighting style, posed a formidable challenge. Every strike from Issei carried the precision and finesse of someone intimately familiar with his opponent's moves.
As they continued their fierce exchange, Cao Cao's mind raced to find a way to break through Issei's adaptive defence. The Unstoppable Spear's concept of an unstoppable force made it a relentless weapon, and Issei's strategic adaptability only added to its potency.
Cao Cao, recognising the need to alter the course of the battle, swiftly activated multiple orbs of his Balance Breaker. The seven orbs surrounding him glowed with renewed intensity, each representing a distinct power. With calculated precision, Cao Cao unleashed Wheel, Pearl, Householder, and General Treasure simultaneously, sending them hurtling towards Issei.
Issei, ever watchful, observed Cao Cao's defensive strategy. The orbs approached with remarkable speed, each possessing its unique abilities. The Wheel Treasure orb aimed to either destroy or nullify Issei's weaponry, the Pearl Treasure orb sought to redirect attacks, the Householder Treasure summoned warriors for defence, and the General Treasure promised destructive power.
As Cao Cao's orbs surged towards Issei with formidable speed, Issei remained calm and focused, his red eyes tracing the trajectory of each approaching orb. With precise timing, Issei took decisive action, activating the adaptation within his Scale Mail to counter Cao Cao's onslaught.
The red gems embedded within Issei's armour glowed with an intense light as they detached from his Scale Mail and hovered towards the incoming orbs. With a burst of energy, the gems enlarged and enveloped the orbs, effectively swallowing them whole.
Cao Cao's orbs became trapped within the gems, suspended in a state of temporal stasis, and time seemed to stand still within the confines of the gems, rendering the orbs inert and preventing them from unleashing their intended effects. The concept of frozen time within the gems nullified the threat posed by Cao Cao's orbs, halting their destructive potential in its tracks. This is the adaptation of Issei's armour made earlier; Issei noticed that Cao Cao's orbs could not regenerate if they weren't set off, so all Issei had to do was put the orbs in a suspended animation, which would shut down Cao Cao's ability significantly.
Cao Cao's eyes widened in disbelief as he witnessed the unexpected turn of events. Seeing his orbs neutralised and trapped within Issei's gems left him momentarily speechless. The intricate adaptation of Issei's Scale Mail to counter his abilities highlighted the depth of Issei's strategic prowess. Cao Cao couldn't help but feel a sense of admiration mixed with frustration.
Issei's smirk widened as he observed Cao Cao's reaction, his red eyes gleaming with satisfaction. The obsidian-black Scale Mail radiated with newfound power, its adaptability proving a formidable asset in their ongoing battle.
"Looks like your little trick didn't work as planned," Issei taunted, his voice laced with amusement. "But don't worry, I'm just getting started."
Cao Cao gritted his teeth, his resolve unbroken despite the setback. He knew he couldn't afford to underestimate Issei's abilities and resolved to find a way to turn the tide of battle in his favour.
"Very well, Issei. Let's see how you fare against my next move," Cao Cao declared, his voice filled with determination. With a swift motion, he pulled out a syringe from his pocket.
Issei, narrowing his eyes, recognised the syringe, "Chaos Break", he muttered to himself, the same drug the other Hero Faction members used to enhance their potential.
Cao Cao, brandishing the syringe of Chaos Break, couldn't help but be impressed by Issei's recognition of the potent enhancement drug. The element of surprise had been a valuable asset in his strategy, but Issei's astute observation threatened to unravel his carefully laid plans.
"You're quite perceptive, Hyoudou," Cao Cao remarked, his voice conveying acknowledgment. "Indeed, this is Chaos Break. I see you've done your homework on the capabilities of the Hero Faction."
As Cao Cao injected the Chaos Break into his neck, a surge of divine energy enveloped him, causing his body to convulse with intense power. The transformation was accompanied by a guttural scream that echoed across the battlefield. A radiant pillar of holy light soared into the sky, drawing the attention of all who witnessed the spectacle.
Though taken aback by the sudden escalation, Issei focused on the transformed Cao Cao. The hero's skin darkened, hair turned grey, and an ethereal glow emanated. Unbeknownst to Issei, the Hero Faction leader underwent a radical metamorphosis, revealing the true extent of his Balance Breaker.
From Cao Cao's back, 28 golden arms sprouted, representing the aspect of "Chakravartin," the pinnacle of his Balance Breaker. The orbs held by the golden arms glowed with newfound power, radiating energy that resonated with the divine essence coursing through Cao Cao.
"Cao Cao, you're really pulling out all the stops, huh?" Issei remarked in his usual matter-of-fact tone. The Unstoppable Spear twirled in his hand, ready for the inevitable clash against the enhanced hero.
The silence that lingered between them was shattered by Cao Cao's voice, resonating with divine authority. "Now, Hyoudou, face the might of Chakravantin!"

As the four Horse Treasure orbs hurtled toward Issei, each radiating a vibrant glow, Cao Cao's strategic teleportation unfolded with swift precision. The orbs, representing Cao Cao's enhanced teleportation abilities, created a disorienting spectacle as they materialised at different points around Issei.
Issei, caught off guard by the rapid teleportation, struggled to anticipate Cao Cao's movements. The orbs served as conduits for Cao Cao to traverse the battlefield at astonishing speeds, thrusting True Longinus with unparalleled precision at each location. The enhanced spear struck with divine force, shattering a side of Issei's Scale Mail.
The obsidian-black armour bore the brunt of the attack, displaying visible damage as cracks spread across the affected side. Issei, too, felt the impact, the force of the assault sending him spiralling into the air. Despite the damage to his Scale Mail, Issei maintained his composure, now learning the capabilities of Cao Cao's new form.
"I see; from 7 orbs, it increased to 28 orbs, but they are all the same as the original 7, meaning he has 4 of the same orbs", Issei ponders.
Issei, recovering from the assault, assessed the situation with a keen eye. The shattered side of his Scale Mail revealed the intricate mechanisms beneath, pulsating with the ominous glow of his gems. Issei's expression hardened as he acknowledged the enhanced capabilities of Cao Cao's Chakravartin, the Scale Mail then shed, signifying that his Scale Mail adapted to the strike from True Longinus's strike.
The clash between Issei and Cao Cao intensified as their spears collided with explosive force. The echoes of their strikes reverberated through the battlefield, creating shockwaves that rippled through the air. The Unstoppable Spear and True Longinus danced in a relentless symphony of power and precision.
Explosions erupted with every clash, the sheer force of their weapons colliding, sending shockwaves that destroyed nearby buildings. The air crackled with the intensity of their battle, the two warriors pushing each other to the limits of their abilities.
Issei's Unstoppable Spear, infused with the concept of an unstoppable force, clashed against Cao Cao's enhanced True Longinus. The divine and mythical energies clashed, creating a dazzling display of lights illuminating the battlefield. The two combatants, locked in a fierce struggle, demonstrated physical prowess and strategic insight as they sought to outmaneuver each other.

On another end of the battlefield, Vali, engaged in a relentless battle against Pluto, observed the city next to them crumbling under the destructive force that Issei and Cao Cao unleashed. The shockwaves from the clashes between the two mighty warriors echoed across the devastated landscape.
Vali, with his immense speed and agility, swiftly evaded Pluto's attacks while keeping a keen eye on the distant duel. His eyes narrowed as he witnessed the destruction wrought by Issei and Cao Cao's battle.
"It seems like a party over there; I need to end this quickly if I want to see the finale," Vali says to himself before turning his attention to Pluto.
Vali's transformation into Juggernaut Overdrive granted him unparalleled speed and strength, making him a formidable opponent against Pluto. With a disdainful glance, Vali prepared to unleash his newfound abilities, seeking to conclude the battle swiftly.
"Pluto, this was fun. I did get a bit of my anger out on you, but I wish to see my rival destroy Cao Cao, so how about you drop dead this instant?" Vali's cold words reverberated through the battlefield.
Without waiting for Pluto's response, Vali activated one of his new abilities, Compression Divider. A dark energy surge enveloped Vali's hand as he extended it toward Pluto. The ominous power manifested as a dark sphere pulsating with immense pressure.
Pluto, caught off guard by the sudden development, attempted to resist the impending onslaught. However, the Compression Divider took effect immediately. Pluto's massive form began to shrink, his size rapidly diminishing with each passing moment. An anguished scream escaped Pluto's lips as the compression continued relentlessly.
The shrinking process was agonising for Pluto, his body contorting and distorting as it succumbed to the overwhelming force of Vali's Compression Divider. The once imposing grim reaper was reduced in size, his form collapsing in on itself. With each compression, Pluto's cries of pain echoed through the battlefield, a haunting testament to the potency of Vali's new ability.
Vali's expression remained stoic as he maintained the Compression Divider, unwavering in his determination to end the battle swiftly. The dark sphere continued its relentless compression, and Pluto's existence grew smaller with each passing second.
Pluto's desperate struggles became futile as the Compression Divider reached its apex. The grim reaper, now reduced to a fraction of his original size, teetered on the brink of annihilation. Vali's cold gaze remained fixed on the shrinking entity, his intent clear – to erase Pluto from the battlefield.
In a final, resounding compression, Pluto's form vanished utterly, leaving behind only the echoes of his tortured screams. The compressed energy dissipated, and the once mighty Pluto was eradicated, leaving Vali alone on the battlefield.
The destruction and chaos wrought by Vali's Compression Divider contrasted starkly with the ongoing battle between Issei and Cao Cao. With Pluto's threat neutralised, Vali turned his attention back to the distant duel, ready to witness the conclusion of the intense confrontation between his rival and the formidable leader of the Hero Faction.

Back at the heart of the battlefield, Issei and Cao Cao continued their fierce clash, each exchange pushing their limits further. The Unstoppable Spear and True Longinus collided with thunderous force, their strikes creating shockwaves reverberating across the devastated landscape.
Tapping into the adaptability of his Scale Mail, Issei adjusted his tactics with each passing moment. He anticipated Cao Cao's movements, countering with precise strikes of his own. The obsidian-black armour absorbed and adapted to the attacks, its resilience a testament to Issei's unwavering resolve.
Issei's Scale Mail continued its intricate analysis of Cao Cao's combat techniques, shedding and adapting layers in response to his opponent's every move. The obsidian-black armour pulsated with energy as it absorbed the data gleaned from their ongoing clash, its adaptive capabilities pushed to their limits.
With each exchange, Issei's tactics evolved, honed by the real-time feedback provided by his armour. The Unstoppable Spear became an extension of his will, its strikes precise and calculated. Issei anticipated Cao Cao's attacks with increasing accuracy, countering with a fluidity and finesse that belied the chaotic nature of their battle.
Cao Cao's enhanced True Longinus, augmented by the power of Chakravartin, unleashed devastating strikes with unparalleled precision. The golden arms surrounding him propelled the spear with divine force, seeking to exploit weaknesses in Issei's defence.
As the clash between Issei and Cao Cao reached a new crescendo, Cao Cao seized the opportunity to escalate the intensity of their battle. With a calculated motion, he unleashed twelve orbs, a combination of Pearl Treasure, Wheel Treasure, and Horse Treasure, each endowed with unique powers.
The orbs hurtled towards Issei with incredible speed, their vibrant glow illuminating the battlefield. Issei, undeterred, focused on the incoming threat. The adaptability of his Scale Mail responded to the challenge, ready to counter Cao Cao's strategic assault.
In a strategic move, Cao Cao coordinated the orbs to attack from multiple angles, aiming to overwhelm Issei's defences. The Pearl Treasure orbs sought to redirect Issei's strikes, the Wheel Treasure orbs intended to nullify his weaponry, and the Horse Treasure orbs aimed to disrupt his mobility.
Issei, faced with the barrage of orbs hurtling toward him, unleashed the full potential of the Unstoppable Spear. With a swift and calculated motion, he twirled the spear around his body, creating a vortex of force. The tornado of energy intercepted the orbs, blocking and reflecting some of them with the sheer power generated by the Unstoppable Spear.
The reflected orbs soared into the nearby ruined buildings, causing explosions and further devastation. However, some Pearl Treasure orbs persisted, defying the tornado's force. They launched themselves at Issei, determined to break through his defences.
In response, Issei anticipated their trajectory and, with precise timing, thrust the Unstoppable Spear forward. The force of the thrust sent shockwaves through the air, flinging the remaining orbs backward with immense speed. The Unstoppable Spear lived up to its name, repelling the orbs with an unstoppable force.
Observing the turn of events, Cao Cao recalibrated his strategy again. Chakravartin's golden arms hovered around him, ready to execute the next phase of his plan.
"You're more resourceful than I anticipated, Hyoudou," Cao Cao acknowledged, his voice hinting at admiration. "But I have yet to reveal the full extent of my abilities. Brace yourself!"
As Cao Cao lunged towards Issei with blinding speed, their confrontation's intensity peaked. With a calculated motion, Cao Cao unleashed all four General Treasure orbs, aiming to overwhelm Issei with their destructive power. The orbs hurtled toward Issei with unstoppable force, their vibrant glow illuminating the battlefield.
Issei, prepared for the onslaught, wielded the Unstoppable Spear with unwavering resolve. With lightning-fast reflexes, he deflected the orbs with precise strikes, each collision sending shockwaves rippling through the air. Issei's mastery over the Unstoppable Spear allowed him to counter Cao Cao's assault with unparalleled precision, thwarting each orb's trajectory with calculated efficiency.
However, as Issei focused on deflecting the orbs, Cao Cao seized the opportunity to close the distance between them. With a swift and decisive motion, Cao Cao thrust his spear forward, aiming to pierce through Issei's defences and strike a decisive blow.
Issei, anticipating the attack, braced himself for the impact. The clash of their spears reverberated through the battlefield, the force of their collision creating shockwaves that shook the ground beneath them. Locked in a battle of strength and willpower, Issei and Cao Cao struggled against each other, each determined to emerge victorious.
Despite Cao Cao's formidable strength, Issei refused to yield; he poured his energy into the Unstoppable Spear, pushing back against Cao Cao's relentless assault. With a mighty roar, Issei overpowered Cao Cao in the strength clash, pushing him back. Seizing the opportunity, Issei twirled the Unstoppable Spear around with incredible speed. The rose gold-black weapon became a whirlwind of destruction, tearing through the battlefield with unparalleled force.
Issei's calculated and powerful strikes targeted the golden arms of Chakravartin on Cao Cao's back. One by one, the golden arms succumbed to the devastating force of the Unstoppable Spear. Sparks flew as the arms were severed and shattered, falling to the ground in pieces.
Cao Cao, momentarily staggered by the onslaught, regained his composure and distanced himself from Issei's relentless assault. The remnants of the shattered golden arms dissipated into golden particles, leaving Cao Cao with a reduced arsenal of divine limbs.
Cao Cao, faced with the overwhelming force of Issei's Unstoppable Spear, resorted to using the Horse Treasure orb to teleport a considerable distance away, positioning himself high in the air but still within Issei's line of sight. The remnants of the Chakravartin's golden arms floated around him as a testament to the damage inflicted upon him.
Gritting his teeth and seething with frustration, Cao Cao, the wielder of True Longinus, found himself in a rare state of vulnerability. Despite his enhanced form and the divine power coursing through him, Issei's adaptability and mastery over the Unstoppable Spear proved formidable adversaries.
Cao Cao, snarling profanities and hurling insults at Issei, struggled to contain his frustration. The air was tense as the battlefield became a stage for intense rivalry.
"You insolent fool! How dare you challenge the might of True Longinus! I am the leader of the Hero Faction, the wielder of one of the Holy Relics! You are nothing but an insignificant pawn in the grand scheme of things!" Cao Cao shouted, his voice echoing through the battlefield.
Unfazed by Cao Cao's verbal onslaught, Issei maintained a focused and determined expression. The Unstoppable Spear was poised, ready for the next phase of their confrontation.
Despite his frustrations, Cao took a deep breath, suppressing his anger. He knew that losing his composure would only play into Issei's hands. The golden orbs reappeared, floating around Cao Cao, albeit in reduced numbers.
"Very well, Hyoudou. It seems I underestimated you," Cao Cao admitted, a begrudging acknowledgment of Issei's prowess. "But this battle is far from over. Prepare yourself for the true might of True Longinus!"
Cao Cao, determined to turn the tide of the battle, placed True Longinus before him, preparing to unleash the ultimate technique of the Holy Relic – the forbidden "Truth Idea." The forbidden technique held the dying will of the God of the Bible, akin to how Issei's Unstoppable Spear embodied the concept of the unstoppable force.
As Cao Cao invoked the "Truth Idea," the atmosphere around him crackled with divine energy. True Longinus glowed with otherworldly radiance, reflecting its immense power. The remnants of the golden arms of Chakravartin swirled around Cao Cao, merging with the divine aura, amplifying the impending assault.
Cao Cao chanted the incantation of the forbidden "Truth Idea." The very air seemed to quiver with the resonance of his words. The divine energy emanating from True Longinus intensified, creating an aura that swallowed the surrounding battlefield.
O Spear, The true Holy Spear which pierces through God.
Suck the ambition of the King of Domination sleeping within me and pierce through the gap of blessing and destruction.
You. Announce the will, and turn into glow.
As the final words left Cao Cao's lips, True Longinus responded with a surge of blinding radiance. The Holy Relic unleashed its full might, tapping into the dying will of the God of the Bible. The divine energy coalesced into a concentrated beam, expanding from the tip of True Longinus and encompassing the entire battlefield.
The forbidden Truth Idea unleashed by True Longinus enveloped the battlefield in an overwhelming surge of divine energy. The radiant beam expanded from the Holy Relic, resonating with the dying will of the God of the Bible. As the beam surged, it absorbed the ambition dwelling within Cao Cao, responding to his opponent's strength and preparing to manifest several miracles.
Issei, keenly aware of the impending threat, narrowed his eyes. The ominous glow of his obsidian-black Scale Mail intensified as he prepared to face the full might of True Longinus. The Unstoppable Spear remained at the ready, its dark aura countering the divine brilliance that enveloped the battlefield.
The effects of the Truth Idea began to manifest, causing several miracles to unfold. The battlefield quivered as reality seemed to bend to the will of the God of the Bible. Miraculous phenomena emerged, each a testament to the immense power wielded by Cao Cao through True Longinus.
The very fabric of space distorted, creating rifts that twisted and contorted the landscape. Unearthly winds howled across the battlefield, carrying with them the echoes of divine power. Standing firm against the impending onslaught, Issei braced himself for the unknown effects of the Truth Idea.
Within the radiant beam, Issei noticed fluctuations in its intensity, a sign that the miracles bestowed by the God of the Bible were adapting to the strength of their opponent. The Unstoppable Spear hummed with dark energy, its concept of the unstoppable force serving as a formidable counterbalance to the divine manifestations.
As the Truth Idea unfolded, Issei's obsidian-black Scale Mail initiated its rapid analysis and shedding process to counter and adapt to Cao Cao's newfound power. The Scale Mail, pulsating with dark energy, responded dynamically to the miracles manifested by True Longinus.
However, the intense fluctuations in the "Truth Idea's" divine energy posed an unforeseen challenge. In its attempts to adapt to the unpredictable divine manifestations, Issei's Scale Mail became unstable. The rapid shedding of layers and constant adjustments caused the dark aura surrounding the Scale Mail to flicker and waver, indicating a malfunction in the adaptive processes.
Sensing the instability, Issei gritted his teeth, feeling the unpredictable effects of the divine energy affecting the essence of his Scale Mail. In a decisive move, Issei deactivated his Scale Mail, allowing the obsidian-black armour to disintegrate and fall away.
[Stats have been returned to base due to Balance Breaker deactivation]
"Dammit, this Scale Mail still needs work", Issei mutters under his breath, disappointed in his new Scale Mail or, rather, his inability to predict this type of situation.
Ddraig, hearing his host's irritation, commented, "Partner, don't fret over it; this Scale Mail lasted much longer than I thought it would, and besides, you only had an hour to create it on the fly, which in itself is an impressive achievement" he explains trying to reassure Issei.
Hearing Ddraig's words, Issei calmed down before looking at Cao Cao. The Holy Power radiating from him was immense. If it were any other Devil in Issei's position, they would've been obliterated instantly.
In the tense aftermath of the Truth Idea, Issei locked eyes with Cao Cao without the protection of his unstable Scale Mail. The battlefield was charged with divine and dark energies, the remnants of their previous clashes lingering in the air. In this silent moment, an unspoken agreement passed between them, a mutual understanding that the time had come for the final confrontation.
Issei's grip tightened on the Unstoppable Spear as he muttered, "Time to see what this spear can do."
The two warriors, separated by the battlefield's expanse, exchanged fierce glares. Issei glared upward, meeting Cao Cao's gaze from below, while Cao Cao glared down at his formidable opponent, still hovering in the air. The silent agreement manifested in the simultaneous decision to throw their respective spears at each other, a final clash determining the outcome of their epic battle.
Cao Cao, high above, hurled True Longinus toward Issei on the ground with unparalleled force. The Holy Relic, charged with the dying will of the God of the Bible, tore through the air, leaving a trail of divine brilliance in its wake. Issei, standing firm and resolute, observed the approaching True Longinus.
In response, Issei threw the Unstoppable Spear forward like an Olympic Javelin athlete ; a trail of rose-gold energy emanated from the weapon, leaving a dazzling streak in its wake. This radiant energy warped the very fabric of time and space around the Unstoppable Spear, creating ripples that defied the laws of reality. The collision of divine and unstoppable forces seemed to bend the environment itself, leaving a transient trail of shimmering distortions.
As True Longinus and the Unstoppable Spear hurtled toward each other, their trajectories left a seismic impact on the environment. The space between the two mighty weapons rippled with distortion, warping the very fabric of reality. Shimmering waves of energy cascaded through the air, creating a surreal display of radiant undulations.
The distortions expanded outward, affecting the battlefield in profound ways. The ground beneath their clash experienced subtle tremors as if divine and unstoppable forces collided with the earth itself. The remnants of the ruined buildings surrounding the battlefield were caught in a ballet of temporal fluctuations, causing them to briefly shimmer and morph as the spears approached.
As the Unstoppable Spear and True Longinus drew closer, the distortions intensified. Reality seemed to struggle against the sheer power unleashed by these extraordinary weapons. The air crackled with a unique energy, and the clash between divine radiance and rose-gold brilliance reached a crescendo that defied the laws of the mundane world.
Before the final moments of the impact, Issei thought to himself, "The secondary ability of the Unstoppable Spear, when thrown, will destroy everything in its path; this includes concepts as well. On top of that, it will reverse causality, making the effect without a cause. And finally, erase all phenomena. If those abilities are true to their explanation, then..." he doesn't continue waiting for the result of the impending clash.
As the Unstoppable Spear and True Longinus hurtled toward each other with unstoppable momentum, the battlefield quivered with anticipation. Issei, aware of the secondary abilities of his weapon, braced himself for the impending clash. The Unstoppable Spear's rose-gold energy left a trail of shimmering distortions, warping the fabric of reality around it.
As the clash between the Unstoppable Spear and True Longinus reached its zenith, Issei's resolve solidified. With unwavering determination, he unleashed the full might of his weapon. The rose-gold energy surged forward, enveloping True Longinus in a radiant aura.
In a breathtaking display of power, the Unstoppable Spear shattered the very concept of True Longinus. The divine weapon, infused with the dying will of the God of the Bible, was rendered powerless in the face of the Unstoppable Spear's unstoppable force.
But the Unstoppable Spear's abilities did not stop there. As the clash unfolded, the reversal of causality took effect. True Longinus began to split apart at its centre before the spears even collided, demonstrating that even if they did clash, True Longinus would have ultimately been defeated.
The erasure of phenomena followed suit as the Unstoppable Spear's final ability came into play. The miracles woven by the dying will of the God of the Bible, which absorbed Cao Cao's ambition to destroy Issei, faded away.
The radiant brilliance of True Longinus had been extinguished, and the once-mighty Holy Relic lay broken and defeated.
Witnessing the shattering of True Longinus and the defeat of the divine weapon, Cao Cao was struck with disbelief high above the battlefield. His eyes widened in shock and horror as the remnants of the Holy Relic dispersed into nothingness. The dying will of the God of the Bible, once a formidable force, had succumbed to the unstoppable force embodied by Issei's Unstoppable Spear.
"No... This can't be!" Cao Cao exclaimed, his voice carrying a mix of frustration and disbelief. The battlefield fell silent, the echoes of their clash lingering in the air.
However, true to its name, the Unstoppable Spear did not stop its relentless advance. Even after shattering True Longinus and rendering it powerless, the Unstoppable Spear continued its trajectory. The rose-gold energy surged forward, piercing through the void the defeated Holy Relic created.
In a swift and unyielding motion, the Unstoppable Spear surged toward Cao Cao, still suspended in the air. The unstoppable force propelled the weapon with unparalleled momentum, and Cao Cao, realising the impending threat, attempted to evade it.
However, the Unstoppable Spear defied any attempts to escape. It pierced through the void, closing the distance with unstoppable determination. The rose-gold brilliance intensified as it bore down on Cao Cao, the once-invincible leader of the Hero Faction, now facing the ultimate consequence of underestimating the Unstoppable Spear.
The unstoppable force met its target, and the Unstoppable Spear pierced Cao Cao, its radiant energy coursing through the Hero Faction leader. Cao Cao's body convulsed as the unstoppable force wrought its devastating effects. In an instant, the battlefield witnessed the defeat of a once-mighty adversary. Cao Cao's form crumpled before the overwhelming power of the Unstoppable Spear, his skin and hair returning to its usual colour. The remaining golden arms on his back withering away like gold dust.
As Cao Cao, defeated and powerless, fell into the ruins of a nearby building, Issei observed the aftermath of the relentless clash. Having pierced through the now-dispersed remnants of True Longinus and its former wielder, the Unstoppable Spear continued its unstoppable trajectory.
The residents of the Underworld, witnessing the unprecedented spectacle, could only gaze in awe and confusion as a rose-gold and black object ascended into the sky. It left behind a trail that resembled a reverse shooting star, symbolising the conclusion of an extraordinary battle that transcended the boundaries of their understanding.
Standing amidst the battlefield ruins, Issei lowered his gaze to the ground where Cao Cao had fallen. The once formidable leader of the Hero Faction lay defeated, his ambitions shattered along with the remnants of True Longinus.
"I'll retrieve it later", Issei says to himself as he watches the Unstoppable Spear flying across the Underworld.
Disappearing out of sight and reappearing to where Cao Cao had landed, Issei found Cao Cao sprawled on the ground, looking helpless, but what amused him the most was that Vali was already there. After his fight with Pluto, Vali watched the battle with Issei and Cao Cao, seeing its conclusion.
Vali, who had observed the intense battle between Issei and Cao Cao, now stood beside the defeated Hero Faction leader. His cold gaze shifted from Cao Cao's fallen form to Issei, a hint of acknowledgment in his eyes.
"Well, well, looks like you managed to steal the spotlight again, Hyoudou," Vali remarked, his tone carrying a mixture of amusement and begrudging respect.
"Looks like it's time for you to raise the bar," Issei remarks confidently, smirking. "So, how did your showdown with Pluto go? Ended with a bang, I presume?"
Vali nodded, a faint smirk playing on his lips. "Of course. I had to make sure our little competition stayed interesting. But it seems you've outdone yourself this time."
As Issei and Vali exchanged banter, Cao Cao struggled to rise, his defeat evident in every move. The remnants of his once-proud Hero Faction watched in silence, the balance of power shifting dramatically in the wake of the battle. The Unstoppable Spear had proven its name, dismantling the mightiest of Holy Relics and securing victory.
With a faint yet gratified grin, Issei redirected his focus to Cao Cao. "Well, so-called Hero, is this the truth you sought?" he inquired sarcastically.
Still reeling from defeat and struggling to rise, Cao Cao met Issei's gaze with defiance and resignation. His pride wounded and his ambitions shattered, he knew the truth of his defeat was undeniable.
"This... this isn't over," Cao Cao muttered through gritted teeth, his voice tinged with bitterness. "I may have lost this battle, but the war is far from finished."
Issei's smirk widened at Cao Cao's defiant words. "Spoken like a true hero," he retorted, his tone laced with sarcasm.
"By the way, Cao Cao," Vali's tone shifted to a more serious note, his eyes narrowing. "Where did you send the other half of Ophis that you stole?"
Despite his weakened state, Cao Cao mustered a smirk, the remnants of defiance still evident in his eyes. "You think I'll just spill the beans after losing? Don't be naive, Vali. I still hold some cards."
Vali's expression remained stoic, a subtle glint of impatience in his gaze. "Playing your cards to the bitter end, I see. But I have ways to make you talk, even if it's after beating you within an inch of your life."
Before Cao Cao could respond, Issei interjected, "What life? This moron is already on the precipice of death. A slight breeze could kill him", he said mockingly.
The two start to chuckle at the remark, which turns into full-blown laughter. As Issei and Vali's laughter echoed across the battlefield, Cao Cao's morale began to crumble. The realisation that he stood before two devils, formidable beings far beyond his human capabilities, struck him with dread.
The laughter, once mocking and taunting, now reverberated with a chilling intensity. Issei and Vali, both powerful beings with indomitable wills, seemed to embody the very essence of demonic prowess. In the face of their overwhelming presence, Cao Cao's defiance waned, replaced by a growing despair.
His pride shattered and his ambitions thwarted, and Cao Cao found himself at the mercy of two devils whose laughter seemed to mock his very existence. The Hero Faction leader once hailed as a beacon of hope, now stood broken and defeated, his human frailty laid bare before the might of the supernatural.
"That's right, at the end of the day, these two are devils..." Cao Cao thinks to himself, watching the two devils in front of him treat him as a joke.
In Issei and Vali's laughter, Cao Cao is defeated and broken, grappling with the harsh reality of his situation. The laughter of the devils before him echoed in his ears, a stark reminder of the stark contrast between his aspirations and the supernatural entities that now held dominion over him.
As Issei and Vali composed themselves, their chuckles subsiding, they exchanged glances. The amusement in their eyes shifted to a more serious tone as they regarded the fallen Hero Faction leader before them.
"You see, Cao Cao, the only thing that made you special is now gone", Issei remarked, referring to True Longinus, his voice now devoid of mockery. "But now, you're just a liquid-filled flesh bag."
Vali's gaze remained piercing as he added, "Now, where did you send Ophis' other half? We're not interested in playing games."
Cao Cao, feeling the weight of his defeat, considered his options. The remnants of the Hero Faction looked on in silence; their once-mighty leader was now reduced to a mere mortal facing the consequences of his actions.
"We sent them to someone who you know, Vali, and that person knows you personally", Cao Cao says in one last-ditch defiance.
Curious, Vali asked, "Who?"
Seeing Vali's eyebrow raised, Cao Cao grinned, "I won't tell, but all I'll say is, this person is looking forward to seeing you again..." he said before looking towards Issei, "Although you don't know him, he certainly knows about you and is waiting for a day you too meet" he finishes.
"Him? So this person is a male; could this be the true leader of the Old Satan Faction those devils who are trying to recruit me were talking about?" Issei ponders internally; he then looks to Vali, who also has a contemplative look. "If this person knows Vali, there might be a chance this person is, in fact, a devil. Then again, who knows how many people Vali pissed off while being in the Khaos Brigade."
Perhaps sensing the rising tensions and curiosity among the devils, Cao Cao adopted a more hysterical demeanour. His laughter, once defiant, now carried an undertone of desperation as he rambled about the perceived truth that heroes were always good and devils were inherently evil.
"Listen, devils, no matter what you do, the truth will always be that heroes are the defenders of mankind, and devils are nothing but malevolent beings!" Cao Cao exclaimed, his voice tinged with hysteria and frustration. "No matter how many times you try to twist the narrative, the world will see you for what you truly are – creatures of darkness!"
"The truth will always prevail!" Cao Cao shouted with manic enthusiasm. "No matter what you devils do, mankind will forever see you as the embodiment of evil. Heroes will rise, and devils will fall; that's the eternal cycle!"
Issei and Vali exchanged glances, a mixture of amusement and indifference colouring their expressions. The once-mighty Hero Faction leader now spiralled into a hysterical rant, clinging to a fading belief in the perceived righteousness of heroes.
"You're right, Cao Cao, the truth will always prevail," Issei starts, "but you forget, history is written by the victors, and the truth will always be buried with the losers; the victors decide what the truth is", he says nonchalantly as he moves closer towards Cao Cao.
Seeing Issei approach him, Cao Cao tries to back up, only for his body to fall on him, "No, No! Stay back! Stay back!" he shouts.
Unfazed, Issei continues to move closer to Cao Cao, "Today I am the victor, and you are the loser, along with your so-called Truth Idea, you will be buried in the ground like the loser you are", he says as he flips Cao Cao on his front, "I am the victor, only I shall decide what the truth should be" he finishes, standing over Cao Cao, with one hand under Cao Cao's chin and another on top of Cao Cao's head.
Issei's grip tightened on Cao Cao's head as he stared at the defeated hero, his expression unreadable. The echoes of Cao Cao's desperate rants still lingered in the air, a testament to the shattered ideals of the fallen leader.
"Hmm? Didn't I promise you the most exquisite death one could imagine?" Issei asked, referring to his final words to Cao Cao in the artificial dimension for Cao Cao fleed. "Well, let's just say, the moment you put that eye in your socket, your fate was sealed. Tell me, how was Medusa used as a weapon?" Issei asked coldly as he referred to the artificial eye Cao Cao had put in his right socket.
Pinned beneath Issei's grip, Cao Cao struggled to form coherent words. The once-defiant leader of the Hero Faction now found himself at the mercy of the victorious devil, his fate sealed by his actions to gain an edge in the battle.
Issei's cold inquiry about the artificial eye placed in Cao Cao's socket struck a nerve. Cao Cao's eyes widened, a flicker of realisation crossing his face. The memory of inserting Medusa's eye into his socket flooded his mind, a decision made in desperation to gain an advantage against Scale Mail users.
Issei's grip tightened around Cao Cao's head as he began to pull with relentless force, his intent clear in his actions. The defeated hero, pinned beneath Issei's strength, could do little to resist as the devil's overwhelming power threatened to tear his head from his neck.
Cao Cao's eyes widened in horror as he felt the pressure of Issei's grip intensify. The once-mighty leader of the Hero Faction now faced the grim reality of his defeat, his desperate attempts to gain an advantage ultimately leading to his demise.
"No... please!" Cao Cao pleaded, his voice strained with agony and fear. "Have mercy, Issei! Spare me!"
But Issei remained resolute, his expression unyielding as he continued to exert pressure. The echoes of Cao Cao's pleas fell on deaf ears as the devil's determination to exact his revenge remained unwavering.
With a sickening sound, Cao Cao's resistance proved futile as Issei's strength prevailed. The hero's head was violently torn from his neck, a gruesome testament to the consequences of his actions. Blood dripped from Cao Cao's head like a loose faucet, spilling onto his headless body, painting him completely red
As Cao Cao's lifeless body slumped to the ground, blood rushed from his neck, drenching everything around his body in a pool of blood. The battlefield fell silent, the echoes of his death reverberating through the air. Issei stood over the fallen hero, his expression unreadable as he surveyed the aftermath of their clash.

Vali, who had been silently observing the gruesome scene, felt a pang of recognition deep within him. As he watched Issei standing over the lifeless body of Cao Cao, he couldn't help but reflect on how much his rival had changed since their first encounter.
The Issei he faced in the past was brash and impulsive, driven by his desire to protect his friends and loved ones. But the Issei before him now was different – colder, more calculating, and willing to do whatever it took to achieve his goals.
As Vali pondered the transformation of his rival, he couldn't help but feel a sense of admiration mixed with apprehension. Issei's unwavering determination and newfound ruthlessness were traits to be reckoned with, and Vali knew that underestimating him would be a grave mistake.
"Is this the same Issei I faced before?" Vali thought, his gaze fixed on the devil who now stood as the victor of their clash. "He's become something else entirely..."
"Issei," Vali began, his voice measured, "you've changed. Your approach to these battles, your demeanour... it's not the same as before."
"The world isn't as black and white as I once thought; the optimistic and idealistic way of thinking is a dead end only filled with pain, suffering and futility", Issei responds with a pragmatic tone.
Before anything more can be said, a magic circle appears out of nowhere, and Georg comes out heavily injured; he lost an eye, his arm has been cut, and his leg looks mangled. Issei recognised this and remembered that Georg was fighting Saji and Gasper; this must've been the outcome. Georg was most likely here to run off with Cao Cao again.
The sudden appearance of Georg, one of the surviving members of the Hero Faction, interrupted the uneasy silence that hung over the battlefield. His eyes widened as he took in the lifeless form of Cao Cao and the imposing figures of Issei and Vali.
"Cao Cao..." he mutters in disbelief and horror before seeing Cao Cao's lifeless head in Issei's hand.
Georg, upon witnessing the lifeless body of Cao Cao and the severed head in Issei's hand, experienced a profound mental breakdown. Horror and disbelief etched across his face, he struggled to comprehend the gruesome fate that had befallen his leader.
The weight of the moment seemed to crush Georg's spirit as he sank to his knees, his mind unable to process the reality of Cao Cao's death. His eyes remained fixed on the fallen hero, the remnants of the once-mighty Hero Faction now reduced to a tragic scene of defeat.
Standing over the fallen Cao Cao, Issei observed Georg's emotional turmoil with a cold detachment. The devil's gaze didn't waver as he remained vigilant, anticipating potential threats from the surviving Hero Faction member.
Suddenly, Georg's shattered composure transformed into intense rage and grief. His eyes, filled with sorrow and fury, locked onto Issei. Without warning, a magic circle materialised in Georg's only working hand; however, before anything can be done, Issei raises Cao Cao's severed head and points it towards Georg. Issei then pumps energy into the head, which causes Medusa's eye in Cao Cao's right socket to glow; Georg's outstretched arm instantly turns into stone.

As Georg's arm turned to stone under the petrifying gaze of Medusa's eye, a gut-wrenching scream tore through the air. The Hero Faction member, once filled with rage and grief, now writhed in agony as the stone encroached upon his flesh.
Issei watched with cold detachment as Georg's screams echoed across the battlefield. The consequences of his actions weighed heavily on the surviving Hero Faction member as he faced the grim reality of his defeat.
Vali intervened with lethal precision before Georg could muster another spell or retaliation. A surge of demonic energy erupted from Vali's hand, hurtling towards Georg.
The blast struck Georg with devastating impact, engulfing him in a maelstrom of dark energy. In an instant, the surviving Hero Faction member was consumed by the demonic onslaught, his form disintegrating into nothingness.
The battlefield fell silent once more, the echoes of Georg's screams fading into the void. Issei and Vali stood amidst the remnants of the Hero Faction, their expressions unreadable as they surveyed the aftermath of the confrontation.
As the dust settled, Issei turned his gaze to Vali, a silent acknowledgment passing between them. The clash with the Hero Faction ended in victory for the Devils, and the entire Underworld won against the invasion of the Khaos Brigade.
Suddenly, a golden orb, which looked like Cao Cao's seven orb, floated into the room that Issei and Vali were in; it landed in Issei's hand. The golden orb, resembling Cao Cao's aura, now rested in Issei's hand, emitting an otherworldly glow. Issei examined the mysterious orb with curiosity and caution, unsure of its nature and purpose.
Vali, standing nearby, raised an eyebrow at the unexpected development. "What's that?" he inquired, his gaze fixed on the golden orb.
Holding the orb with a contemplative expression, Issei replied, "The Truth Idea."
"The Truth Idea... as in the dying will of the Biblical God?" Vali asked, his eyes narrowing.
"Yeah," Issei replied while still staring at the orb.
"How? I thought it was destroyed along with True Longinus?" Vali asked for confirmation
"It should've, unless..." Issei replied in contemplation
"Unless...?" Vali asked, wanting Issei to continue
"The Truth Idea will suck in the ambitions of the wielder and respond to it by making their ambitions a reality. This means that Cao Cao's sacred gear betrayed him. It valued its own survival over Cao Cao's ambitions, thereby surviving my attack and rejecting Cao Cao's wish to win against me," Issei explained. "This means that if it had favoured Cao Cao's ambitions over its own survival, it would've been destroyed along with Cao Cao, so it decided for Cao Cao to die alone rather than try and save him and be destroyed with him."
Vali nodded, understanding the implications of the Truth Idea's survival. The orb in Issei's hand, pulsating with divine energy, held the essence of the Biblical God's dying will.
"So, what are you going to do with it?" Vali inquired, his curiosity piqued.
Issei briefly considered the golden orb in his hand before responding, "I'll give it to Michael; maybe he'll be able to fix Heaven's miracle system with this."
Vali nodded in agreement, acknowledging Issei's decision. "That's a wise choice. Michael might be able to make good use of it," he remarked, his tone thoughtful.
As Issei prepared to depart with the golden orb in hand, his gaze shifted to Cao Cao's lifeless body; he turned him over and then took something out of his jacket pocket. This was a vial filled with a few millilitres of liquid inside; this looked very similar to a Phoenix Tear, most likely the modified version the Hero Faction has been using. Narrowing his eyes on the vial, Issei pocketed it for later examination.
The two then departed the ruins of the building, leaving behind the headless body of Cao Cao.

As they walk through the ruined city where Issei and Cao Cao's fight took place, Issei advises Vali.
"You should leave; you and your team are still seen as members of the Khaos Brigade; staying any longer in the Underworld, you're just asking for it," Issei says to Vali.
In response, Vali smirked, "But aren't you also considered the Pariah of the Underworld? The Monster who beat the Bael heir to an inch of his life", he remarked.
Hearing the remark, Issei scoffed, "So, I can handle myself", he replied curtly.
Feeling a few presences behind him, Issei turned to see the rest of Vali's team. Bikou, Kuroka, Arthur and Le Fay.
Bikou playfully scratched his head as he approached Issei. "Oi, Red- I mean Black Dragon Emperor! What the hell happened here? We felt the energy of a full-blown war!"
Issei sighed, "Well, my fight with Cao Cao escalated quite a bit", he responded.
Kuroka crossed her arms and tilted her head. "Did you really have to make such a mess, nyaa?"
Issei smirked. "Are you really asking a host of a Heavenly Dragon if making a mess was necessary?" he asked casually.
"Fair point, Black Dragon Emperor, nyaa", Kuroka replied with a chuckle.
Le Fay, with her usual calm demeanour, approached Issei and Vali. "Is everything settled now?" she asked.
Issei nodded. "Yeah, it's over. Cao Cao and the Hero Faction are defeated," he replied
Arthur stepped forward. "And what about the aftermath? What happens next?" he asked.
Vali, who had been observing the exchange, decided to address his team. "We're leaving. There's no place for us here right now."
Vali inclined his head, acknowledging Issei's insight. "We'll meet again, Issei. Until then, keep that newfound ruthlessness in check."
Issei smirked. "I make no promises, but sure, we'll meet again Vali."
With those words, Vali and his team left the ruined city in a magic circle, leaving Issei behind. As Vali and his team departed through a magic circle, Issei's attention turned to the approaching figures of Rias and her peerage, accompanied by Azazel. The remnants of the intense battle and the aftermath lay before them, a testament to the clash between devils and the Hero Faction.
Azazel looked at Issei, seeing the change within him; his magical potential was recently unlocked, most likely from his fight with Hades. Even after Issei left his dimension from his two-year training, Azazel knew that Issei had no magical power, yet he felt the power rolling off him in waves; being a genius, Azazel concluded that Issei's system was something else entirely. But now Azazel can feel power and magic radiating off him; with the foreign energy coursing through him, one would assume that Issei's body would give out like what happened to Kiba when Issei possessed his body to fight Siegfried. Yet, both foreign energies are in perfect synergy with one another.
Rias, with a mix of concern and relief, rushed towards Issei. "Issei, what happened here? We felt the immense energy from here," she inquired, eyes scanning the battlefield.
"I had my fight with Cao Cao he responded" in his usual tone.
Ever the wise, Azazel observed the scene with a discerning eye. "It seems like quite the skirmish took place here," he remarked. "How did it all end?"
"Well, we both had our respective spears, which we threw at one another, and mine overpowered his, and that was the end of it", Issei explained.
Azazel, hearing this, eyes widen, "Wait, you have a spear that overpowered True Longinus?" he asked with a tone of disbelief.
"Yeah, it's that gold light that is currently rocketing through the skies of the underworld," he says as he points toward the Unstoppable Spear.
The others look in awe before Issei gestures with his hand, and the spear disappears from the sky and reappears in his hand. As the Unstoppable Spear materialised in Issei's hand, Rias and her peerage watched in awe, their expressions a mix of surprise and admiration. The sheer power and magnitude of the weapon were evident even to those who had not witnessed its clash with True Longinus.
Azazel approached Issei with a curious expression. "That spear... it truly is something remarkable," he remarked, his eyes gleaming with intrigue. "To think that it could overpower True Longinus... the implications are astounding."
Issei nodded in agreement, a sense of pride evident in his expression. "Yeah, it's quite the weapon," he replied, his tone modest yet confident.
"What does it do?" Azazel asked with a curious tone.
"Well, it has the concept of the Unstoppable Force inside it; if I throw it, it will destroy concepts, reverse casualty, and erase phenomena", Issei answered.
Azazel's jaw dropped as he processed the magnitude of the Unstoppable Spear's abilities. "That's... incredible," he muttered, his mind racing with the implications of such a weapon.
"Oh, and by the way, give Michael this," Issei says to Azazel as he hands over the Truth Idea orb.
Taking the orb into his hand, Azazel's eyes widen in shock, "Issei, is this..." he says for confirmation, although deep down, he already knew what it was
"Yeah, it is; hopefully, it can fix Heaven's miracle system", Issei confirms
Azazel looks up at Issei with awe before nodding in understanding.
Remembering something, Issei asked, "Hey, what time is it? Kuoh time?"
Azazel, looking at his watch, replied, " It's past 5 pm in Kuoh time, why?" he asked.
Issei's eyes widen, remembering he was supposed to be at Asgard right now, seeing Rossweisse and Astrid.
"Shit! I have to be somewhere," he says in a slight panic.
[Ability Used: Rift]
He opens up a rift in space and leaves instantly, not allowing anyone to ask him anything before he leaves. The others have gobsmacked looks at Issei's erratic behaviour.
Rias turned to Azazel with a questioning look. "What just happened? Where did Issei go in such a hurry?" she inquired.
Azazel scratched his head, looking as puzzled as the others. "I'm not entirely sure. It seems like he remembered something urgent and left in a hurry," he explained.
Koneko, standing next to Rias, spoke, "He's been leaving without explanation a lot recently; ever since he's changed, he's been doing so", she replied in her usual stoic tone.
Akeno nodded in agreement, her gaze fixed on the spot where Issei had vanished, a sultry smile on her lips. "Maybe he went to meet a girl and do illicit things with her," she says in her playful voice.
Rias felt jealous as Akeno's teasing words reached her ears. The mention of Issei potentially meeting someone fueled her internal turmoil, especially considering the recent mention of the name "Rose" during Issei's sleep. Despite her best efforts to maintain composure, a subtle unease crept into Rias's expression.
Rias, trying to maintain her composure, replied to Akeno's teasing remark with a forced smile. "Akeno, please. This is not the time for your playful banter. We must focus on understanding what just happened and the potential implications for all of us."
Akeno, mischievous, couldn't resist teasing Rias further, sensing her unease. "Oh, Rias, don't be so uptight. Issei's a grown man, after all. Maybe he's off having a romantic rendezvous with this mysterious 'Rose'," she said with a knowing smirk.
Koneko, ever the observant, narrowed her eyes at Akeno's teasing remarks. "Akeno, what do you mean by 'Rose'? Is there something you're not telling us?" she asked, her tone tinged with suspicion.
Asia, who had been listening quietly, piped up with curiosity. "Yeah, Akeno, who is this 'Rose' you're talking about? Is she someone Issei knows?" she inquired, her innocence evident in her tone.
Xenovia, never one to shy away from prying into matters of romance, joined in the questioning. "If Issei's meeting with someone named Rose, it's only fair that we know who she is. Is she a friend of his?" she asked, her eyes gleaming with curiosity.
Irina, who had been listening intently, added her inquiry. "Akeno, please, don't keep us in the dark. If Issei's spending time with someone named Rose, we deserve to know the truth," she insisted, her sense of justice guiding her words.
Akeno, revelling in the attention and the opportunity to tease her friends, grinned mischievously. "Well, well, it seems like you all want the juicy details. As far as I know, Issei mentioned the name 'Rose' during his sleep. Maybe she's someone from his past or perhaps a new acquaintance. Either way, it's amusing to see everyone so worked up over it."
Rias, who had been trying to maintain her composure, felt frustrated at the revelation. The unease within her grew, and she couldn't shake off the jealousy that Akeno's words had ignited.
"Akeno, this isn't the time for games. If there's something Issei didn't share with us, we should respect his privacy," Rias asserted, her voice carrying a subtle edge.
Akeno, still enjoying the moment, leaned in with a teasing grin. "Oh, Rias, you're adorable when you're jealous. Don't worry; I'm sure Issei will tell us about Rose when he's ready."
Irritated by Akeno's teasing and growing unease, Rias took a deep breath to compose herself. "Akeno, there's nothing to be jealous about. I trust Issei, and if he has something to share, he will. Let's focus on the more immediate matters at hand," she stated firmly.
Sensing the tension rising among the group, Azazel intervened before the situation escalated further. Clearing his throat to garner everyone's attention, he spoke with a tone of authority.
"Alright, enough of this speculation and teasing," Azazel declared, his voice carrying a firmness that brooked no argument. "We have more pressing matters to attend to, and dwelling on Issei's personal affairs won't help us in any way."
Rias, grateful for Azazel's intervention, nodded in agreement. "He's right. Let's focus on understanding the recent events and preparing for potential consequences," she stated, her voice regaining its usual composure.
Akeno, though slightly disappointed at the interruption of her teasing, relented with a playful grin. "Fine, fine. Let's get back to business," she conceded, her tone still hinting at mischief.
Koneko, ever stoic, nodded in agreement, her suspicions regarding Issei's mysterious acquaintance temporarily set aside.
With the tension diffused and the focus shifted back to the task at hand, Azazel led the group in discussing the aftermath of the battle with the Hero Faction and the potential ramifications for the Underworld.
Deep down, Azazel couldn't shake off the knowledge of who Rose truly was and the significance of her presence in Issei's life; Odin had shared many things with him about Issei and Rossweisse's time in Asgard. However, he kept this information to himself, knowing some secrets were untouched.
