Prompt: Huddling For Warmth - It's cold outside and the easiest way to get warm is for Harry and Hermione to cuddle up together.

"I swear Harry I'm fine." Hermione said stubbornly, but he knew that she was lying. He could see her shivering even now, and her teeth had been chattering as she spoke.

"You're obviously not, and just because it was your idea for 'Magic Free Mondays' and the fact that you've forgotten just how cold Britain gets in the winter when you can't cast a warming charm doesn't mean you should suffer from frostbite." He told her. "You know I can cast one without my wand, let me just—"

"No, Harry." Hermione said sternly. "I'm not giving up on this idea after two hours just because I'm too stupid to not think far enough ahead to bring a coat."

Harry looked at his best friend and felt the familiar sense of affection and irritation towards her stubborn nature, even all these years later. "Well in that case we'll just have to warm you up the old-fashioned way." He told her, opening his arms.

She glared at him in return and Harry laughed. "I promise I'm not making fun. We've hugged plenty of times before and you know better than most that I run hot."

Harry could see her eyes calculating what he had said, despite the fact that her lips were turning blue. Finally, she gave in and walked into his embrace. Harry wrapped his coat around the both of them and ran his hands up and down Hermione's back as she buried her face into his chest.

After a moment she let out a content sigh. "Its like you have fire running through your veins." She said appreciatively and Harry chuckled.

"I'm glad." He said, enjoying the feeling of his best friend pressed against him more than he should have. "We're nearly at the Indian diner, do you wanna waddle with me until we get there, or shall I just give you the coat?" he asked into her hair.

"Waddle." She murmured into his sweater. "I quite like the feeling of you right now." Harry felt his heart flutter in his chest and tried to suppress the emotions that she so easily pulled up in him.

Before he could stop himself, he kissed the top of her head "Ditto." he whispered quietly.

She looked up at him, her brown eyes full of an emotion he couldn't quite place, which was new for Harry considering how well he knew her. She stared at him intently for another moment and bit her lip then disentangled her arms from around him and snaked her hands up to his neck.

She pulled him down gently and their lips met in a brief but mind-numbing kiss. As she pulled away, he smiled at her, and he watched the uncertainty that had cropped up on her face dissipate. "Suddenly I feel quite warm." She whispered, and Harry laughed.

Before his smile faded, he bent his head back down to kiss her once more. "And suddenly, I feel like I want to do nothing but make sure that you stay that way."

She smirked up at him. "I think that could be arranged."

A/N: Hey guys! For those of you who follow me for my Haphne I know this may seem odd, but Harmony is another pairing I absolutely love. I find it easy to write little drabbles like this for the pairing since not much background is required to establish the story due to their friendship in the books, and so these stories help me to either get my writing flowing for other works, or just get plot bunnies out. This will be updated sporadically, but I do have a few already written so expect some updates in the near future :) As always, I would love to hear your thoughts and if enough people enjoy a story, I can always make them into their own oneshots or multi chaptered fics. Thanks as always and until next time!
