After what seemed like hours he woke up lying on the floor, in what seemed to be an almost dark room.
He looked for his flashlight in his pockets, and luckily for him he hadn't lost it, but he had lost the rest of his belongings.
"Great, someone has stolen my things."
He then lights it and inspects its surroundings; in reality Rick was in a huge hallway with concrete walls, and it didn't seem to end.
He noticed that on the wall to his right was an iron door, identical to those in Freddy's security office; it could only be opened from the outside.
When he turned around, he realized that someone, or something, was standing a few meters away from him, emanating a putrid stench.
He shone the flashlight on it to reveal a run-down animatronic, a yellow bear with a purple bow tie and hat, not so different from Freddy.
"What is Freddy doing here? Wait, this isn't Freddy. And what a stench!"
But it didn't take long for him to discover the source of the stench; Rick thought he saw decaying flesh behind the animatronic's deteriorated carcass, as well as blood stains, prevalent on the animatronic's segments and on the eyes and mouth.
"JESUS CHRIST."
The already nightmarish situation worsened when the animatronic began to move, fixing its bloodied eyes on Rick.
This time Rick listened to his instincts, so he started running as fast as he could down the hallway.
The animatronic seemed to be slower than Rick, but it didn't get tired, with his heavy metallic footsteps being steady.
At a certain point in the hallway, Rick came across a fork to his left.
He took the hallway to the left and moved on, the animatronic hot on his heels.
After what felt like an eternity of walking more corridors, Rick realized one thing; he was inside a labyrinth.
Desperate, he thought about what possibilities he had to get out of there.
Luckily, he looked to his right and made out a vent, large enough for Rick to get inside.
That is if he managed to tear off the grate.
With all his might, he tried to rip off the grate with his bare hands, while the animatronic was approaching within twenty meters of him, advancing with faster steps.
Thankfully, Rick's military training finally paid off, ripping off the grate.
As he entered, he thought he would be safe by now.
But the animatronic attempted to force its way into the vent, damaging the carcass of its head until it was completely shattered, revealing a disfigured face.
Both Rick and the macabre being crawled as fast as they could, the former falling prey to exhaustion and the other destroying himself to reach his goal, even if it meant more pain.
To Rick's bad luck, he heard more metallic taps, coming from his right.
"Please let it not be another."
At a fork, he pointed his flashlight to the right and revealed what he suspected; another animatronic.
This time it was a brown dog, also destroyed. He was missing his left arm, his right hand and apparently also the lower part of his torso. Unlike the bear, it did not appear to have a corpse inside, only the typical components of an endoskeleton, in poor condition.
Fortunately, the animatronic dog covered its eyes and tried to flee when Rick pointed the flashlight at him, letting out a vaguely human cry of pain.
Rick pressed on, noticing that a faint yellowish glow was coming from that direction, behind a grate.
He reached the grate, but this time he had much more difficulty removing it; he had to beat it from the inside.
And he had to do it quickly; The two animatronics were about to catch up with him.
After a few tense seconds, he managed to remove it and fell into another room; there was a light bulb off, some wooden boxes, a metal shelf with a roll of electrical tape and what caught Rick's attention the most:
A broken pipe.
Even though there were no doors, he smiled, already having a plan spun in his mind.
As the animatronics got closer and closer, he grabbed the pipe and electrical tape and made his way to one of the boxes. Then, he glued the pipe to the box, pointing it upwards.
The box he glued the pipe into was surprisingly light, so he carried it to just below the conduit from which it fell.
"Well, I never thought I'd make a moorish skewer out of rotting meat and an endoskeleton."
He checked the room, looking for a plug for the spotlight, which wasn't difficult for him.
He placed it pointing at the duct, thus preventing, if possible, the animatronic dog from entering the room.
Finally, the bear fell from the duct and ended up through the pipe, remaining immobile on top of the box, which ended up destroyed by the weight of the animatronic, apparently dead.
Rick let out a sigh of relief, relaxed by the death of that thing.
But it didn't take long for the bear to move again, slowly rising from the ground with the pipe stuck in its skull.
"That's impossible..."
The spotlight exploded, and so did the light bulb that lit up the room.
It was the end.
Or so he thought until he heard a metal door open behind him, seemingly out of nowhere, from which a white light came out.
And finally, Rick received help from a stranger, listening to her voice over the loudspeaker:
-Get into the room! NOW!
