Al-Khitaf is based on the DC villain Hook, who is associated with the League of Assassins in the comics. I just gave him a name fitting of 'Arrow''s depiction of the League.
DISCLAIMER: I don't own anything from 'DC's Legends of Tomorrow' any other Arrowverse shows, or DC Comics.

Sara screamed Leonard's name, tearing through assassins as she fought to reach him. She was about six feet away from the Pit when a metal hook slipped around her ankle and tripped her up. The assassin known as Al-Khitaf sprang up from his own sprawled position on the floor and landed on her back. He held the sharp tip of the hook replacing his left hand against her carotid artery, and she knew without seeing his face that he was scowling. "Trying to leave, Ta-er al-Safar?" he growled.
She couldn't get him off, and one wrong move could kill her in this position. But she had to get to Leonard, had to get to the man who convinced her that she really was more than just a killer. It was only in his absence that she'd slipped back into her old ways. "I still have a place with them," she grunted, repeating what he'd told her minutes earlier, "And as long as that's true, I don't belong here."
Al-Khitaf snarled and brought his hook up. From his shadow cast against the floor, she could see that he was preparing to bring it back down on her. It would have been much simpler to cut her with a flick of his wrist, but Al-Khitaf had always had a thing for dramatics. She could use that as an opening, to get him off her back and into a vulnerable position.
A splash and a gasp had them both pausing, as Leonard Snart emerged from the waters of the Lazarus Pit. He was breathing heavily, looking around in confusion, and for a brief moment, Sara felt the illogical, insane hope that he was alright. Then his blue eyes locked on Al-Khitaf, and with an enraged snarl he leapt out, much like what she'd been described of her and Thea's revivals, and tackled the other assassin off of her.
Sara froze for a second, realising with horror that her friend was now consumed by the same Bloodlust she was plagued with, the same Bloodlust he'd been helping her resist. The sounds of the fight forced her to twist around, still on the floor, to see Leonard wildly punching at Al-Khitaf, who was struggling but successfully managing to dodge all the blows. This wasn't the quick-minded, calculating Crook she knew. He was fighting with savage, animalistic instinct, and nothing else.
Al-Khitaf was able to get under Leonard's wild swinging and sink his hook into his right side, causing Leonard to yell in pain but not to stop. In fact, his continued movements made the injury even worse before the hook was roughly yanked out.
Sara got up at that point, slipping a dagger out of her sleeve and cutting Al-Khitaf's throat much like the other assassin had done to Leonard. She turned to try and rein him in, but he was already charging at the next enemy, catching them from behind while they were distracted with the Atom.
The remainder of the fight was pure chaos, for the scant few minutes that it lasted. Sara was pushing herself, following Leonard around to watch his back while simultaneously fighting her own Bloodlust, something she hadn't bothered to do in ages. The latter was, surprisingly, easier than she remembered. She would have to take the time to wonder about that later, but for now, she had to focus on getting herself and her teammates out of there alive. Then, suddenly, a voice rang throughout the hall: "CEASE!"
The assassins all stopped fighting, backing away. Three of the Legends paused, uncertain, grouping together for protection. But not Leonard. Still in attack mode, he made to lunge at the man who'd just entered the room, Ra's al Ghul himself. Sara had to grab him and wrap her arms around his middle in an attempt to restrain him, grateful when Kendra landed to lend her enhanced hawk-strength to the effort while Ray covered them, ready to fire should anyone attack their huddle.
Ra's didn't even blink, staring the four of them down. "I always knew there was something… different about you, Ta-er al-Safar," he said calmly, "The way you fought as if you'd already had my training before, or the fact that you have clearly been exposed to the Lazarus Pit before you even came here. Between that and your friends, here, I would almost think you were from another time."
In retrospect, it wasn't all that far-fetched that the Demon's Head, who had lived for centuries and who had the means to bring the dead back to life, would believe in the possibility time travel.
"I don't belong here," she repeated, her voice strained with the effort to hold Leonard back and raised to be heard above his animalistic snarling, "I don't belong now."
Ra's seemed to take this as her admission (which it was) that his suspicions had been correct, and regarded her calmly. "I, Ra's al Ghul, release you, Ta-er al-Safar, from my service… For now."
Sara knew there would be no help from him in dealing with Leonard's new… condition. They were counting themselves lucky that he was allowing them to leave after her friends had broken in and taken the lives of a few of his assassins to retrieve her. She somehow managed to shift her grip so that her arm was around Leonard's neck, putting him into a carefully-executed sleeper hold until his struggles ceased and he went limp, unconscious.
"Kendra, can you get his gun?" she whispered. He voice was shaking, betraying her fear for the man slumped over in their arms. Kendra nodded, allowing Ray to take her place and walking over to the Pit, her body stiff with tension as she came closer to the assassins standing nearby. But none of them moved to attack her, just silently stood there as she picked the discarded weapon up and hurried back to the other three.
Sara allowed to Ray take Leonard and lift the older man into his arms. A tiny part of her that was trying to find some humour in the situation, any at all, imagined how he would be bitching and complaining about being carried bridal style if he was conscious. And, of course, in his right mind.
Just a reminder: All these chapters are going to be between 1,000 and 1,100 words. Don't expect big updates.
