Welcome, everyone. Having grown tired of Basil and my other Detentionaire OCs, I have decided to start anew with this story. The old ones will still appear due to some reimagining, but I just wanted to do something different for a last Detentionaire story. It has been a long time, but I am looking to step away and move on to other fandoms. I still love Detentionaire, but the fact is, I just feel like moving on. Anyway, enjoy and review.

First Day of School

In her room, Kiki Hu-Hagen sat at her vanity brushing her long black hair. Wearing a pink blouse, skirt, socks, and doll shoes, she was a slender girl of thirteen years, not particularly tall for her age, yet at the same time not particularly short either. It was her first day of school, high school! She was officially in the ninth grade and her fourteenth birthday was coming up!

Smiling to herself as she put down her hairbrush, Kiki then put on her white pearl earrings, not real pearls of course, and then her pink Alice band. She was ready for her first day as a student at A. Nigma High!

Swinging around on the stool before her vanity, Kiki gave an excited giggle. A. Nigma High! The place where four years ago so much adventure had happened starting with a big prank on the first day of school that had resulted in a student named Lee Ping being blamed for it and a legend being born!

"Kiki! Come down for breakfast!"

"In a moment, daddy!" Kiki called back. Taking a moment to look at herself in the mirror, she couldn't help but smile. A new chapter of her life was ahead of her, and she was so excited for what the future held for her!

"Kiki, come on! We all need to head out!"

"Coming, papa!"

Standing up, Kiki exited her bedroom and walked down the stairs to dinning room where her fathers were waiting for her. Dr. Basil Hu-Hagen, Kiki's daddy, was cleaning his glasses, while his husband real estate agent Quentin Hagen, Kiki's papa, was in the progress of putting butter on a piece of toast. Often people only thought of the former as her father due to both him and her being of East Asian descent, but Kiki loved her dads as much as any daughter could. A medical doctor and a real estate agent might not have sounded like exciting fathers, but she wouldn't have asked for anyone else.

Putting his glasses on, Basil pointed at the bowl of cereal at Kiki's place and said: "Come on, sweetie. Eat up. You can't go to your first day of high school on an empty stomach. Trust me."

Smiling, Kiki sat down and ate her breakfast quickly, but not too quickly. It wouldn't have been good if she had been sick on her first day either.

"First day at A. Nigma, I remember mine, long before things got weird." Commented Quentin prior to taking a bite out of toast.

"Things were always weird there, Quentin." Stated Basil. "For goodness' sake, that darn Tazelwurm has been running around since who knows when! Then four years ago that prank happened, everyone thought that Lee Ping kid did it and now everyone is saying he didn't. I don't know. If anything, things got weirder."

"Aren't you the doctor for his father, Basil?" asked Quentin.

"No, the man I'm doctor to is Matthew Bing and his son's name is Leonard."

Standing up, Kiki took her bowl to the kitchen and placed it in the sink. Not even listening to her fathers' conversation anymore, she went to grab her bag. She was ready! Ready for her first day as a high school student, ready for her first day at A. Nigma High! Ready for whatever adventure came her way! Excitedly, she uttered: "Kiki Hu-Hagen is ready, world!"
