CH.31: The Dark Truth
The following morning after the events of last night's abduction and duel, at the Obelisk Girl Dorm, Alexis woke up feeling refreshed and ready to take on the day. She walked to her dresser, taking out her sportswear from a drawer. Alexis changed from nightgown to sportswear, before leaving her room, she put her hair up with a hair tie into a ponytail to keep it from flowing freely. She looked at her nightstand seeing the four weighted bands, sitting back on her bed, she places one on each ankle, before placing one on her right wrist and noticed something.
"Strange." She thought, flexing her arm up and down, "It feels lighter than it did two days ago." After getting the fourth band on her left wrist, she left her room and headed to the staircase that led to the main hall and entrance of the Dorm, where all of the sports shoes are located. Finding her cubicle for her shoes, Alexis sat on the bench by the door, putting her running/track shoes on, standing up she tapped the toe end of each shoe to adjust, before walking out the Dorm. Walking down the walkway, Alexis stopped at the edge of the lake, as she began to do her warm-up stretches, after about three minutes of stretching, Alexis took off in a casual jog, which her routine was from the Blue Girls Dorm to the Main Building and back.
Meanwhile at the Slifer Dorm, Draco practiced his martial arts throwing punches, jabs, and kicks while Syrus and Mana watched him as they all took a free period that morning.
"This is my first time actually seeing Draco doing martial arts." Syrus stated.
"Not to mention, Alexis is learning the basics of it as well." Mana added, "It's weird though."
"What's weird?" Syrus asked, looking at her.
"It seems that his martial arts are a mix of others." Mana explained, "I even recognized, some of the movements seems to be Judo, Taekwondo, Karate, Kenpo, and other martial art styles."
"That's because it is." A voice replied, getting both of them to yelp out, before sighing out as Kendov appeared next to them and leaned against the wall, "You have a good eye to notice all the different movements, Young Mage."
"Umm, thanks." Mana replied, "But I'm not a mage."
"You are a direct descendant of the Ancient Mage of Pharaoh Atem's council, who you are named after." Kendov explained, "And you are the current wielder of the Millennium Rod, which looks like a short staff."
"Well, that is true." Mana muttered.
"And finally, Vonzun overheard you talking to your family about 'another magic user' which means you are a mage yourself for you to say 'another'." Kendov said, with a smirk.
Syrus looked at Mana, mouth a gapped, "Wait, you're an actual mage, Mana?"
"I never trained as one." Mana replied.
"The statement still remains." Kendov explained, "Being a descendant, you have your ancestor's powers, you seem to easily wield the Millennium Rod with ease."
"Well, doesn't anyone after a few weeks with one of the Items?" Mana asked.
"Why not ask Yugi Muto?" Kendov chuckled, "Since he has the Millennium Puzzle, but if I recall, only Atem uses it when it is required."
Mana chuckled lightly, forgetting about Yugi and Atem's bound, they turned their gaze back to Draco as he finished his training routine, ending the session with his left arm extended downward with his right arm close to his chest. He exhaled slowly before taking a more relaxed stand.
"Well done, Draco!" Kendov called out, "Your Astral Projection training is keeping you well on your toes."
"Wait, Astral Projection?" Syrus asked.
"Indeed, I'll explain." Kendov replied, "What you and your friend saw, was Draco just seamlessly throwing punches and kicks in the air. But actually, he mentally-projected an opponent with combat capabilities to fight."
"So, he can fight anyone?" Mana asked.
"And they don't have to be real people." Draco stated, "I can mentally battle anyone from a video game."
"Let me guess," Mana sighed, rolling her eyes with a smile, "Street Fighter?"
"That and a few others." Kendov added, "Since Duel Spirits can use other means other than punches and kicks."
"They can use magic and other kind of projectiles?" Syrus asked.
"As well, as weapons."
"So, Draco mentally fights characters that go from professional fighters to fictions sword and magic users?" Mana asked.
"Yup." Draco replied, "It was the best way to prepare me for—" he stopped his statement when he heard his PDA chime off. Draco walked to his blazer and found the pocket with the device in it. He flipped the screen as he went off again.
"Message from Nurse Fortaine."
"Huh, wonder what Nurse Fortaine wants?" Draco thought, before answering the call, "Yes, Ma'am?"
"Is Alexis anywhere with you?!" Fortaine asked.
"No, she's not." Draco replied, "I just finished my Martial Arts training at the Slifer Dorm."
"I tried her PDA before yours and she didn't answer!"
Draco thought for a moment before his eyes lit up, "Maybe she's out doing her running routine." Draco replied, "She doesn't carry her PDA when she does."
"Could you try to contact her and ask her to come to my office?" she asked.
"What's going on, Ma'am?" Draco asked, getting concerned now.
"It's her brother, he's awake." She replied. Draco went silent and shocked, "I can see you Mr. Kaitos!" Fontaine slightly yelled, snapping Draco back to reality, "Get into contact with Alexis anyway you can!"
The call ended and Draco looked up to Syrus and Mana, noticing Kendov wasn't there, his eyes darted around and noticed the Fighter emerging from the final room on the ground floor and gave him a quick nod, silently telling his Young Lord he checked each room and found no one else in their dorm room. Draco smiled, putting his PDA down and took a deep breath.
"GAHLOT!" Draco roared out loudly, causing Syrus and Mana to groan out from the aftershock that rang in their ears.
"Ow, what was that?!" Mana asked.
"The Roar of Dominance." Kendov replied, "Gahlot never comes to the Young Lord's call the first time, but with the Roar of Dominance that only the Royal Bloodline can use, she has no choice."
On cue, the dark scaled dragoness assassin appeared, grabbing the side of her head as she snarls out in pain, "WHAT THE FUCKEN HELL?!" she snarled out.
"Gahlot, this is important!" Draco yelled back.
"Then get someone else!" she snarled back, Draco bared his teeth that slowly became fangs as the Dragon within him started to emerge.
"Uh, I-I think I'm going a little cr-crazy." Syrus stuttered, "B-but I think Draco's t-teeth are ch-changing."
Mana looked closer and started to shiver as well, "N-no, Sy-Syrus." She stuttered, "I-I can see it t-too."
Kendov sighed out as he leaned into the wall, "The Dragon that he is. Is coming out." He replied, "Gahlot never learns."
"What do you mean?" Syrus asked.
"Well, Gahlot was once part of an Assassin Guild called the 'Blooded Blade'. She was never one to obey the orders of nobles or royals."
"Then how did she?" Mana started to ask.
"She tried to assassinate Koraavnu." Kendov replied, "The Blind Sage's mastery of the Third Eye or Mind's Eye, he can see the world in the energy all life gives off."
"Hold on that sounds like what you called 'Life Sight'." Syrus stated.
"It is." Kendov replied, "But Koraavnu's mastery of it allows him to see those who don't have life auras, such as machines and undead."
"Gahlot!" Draco hissed out, "Alexis' brother just woke up from his 'Shadow Coma' and she needs to be informed!"
"Then get someone else!" Gahlot snarled.
"I am not sending any of the guys to the Girls Dorm!" Draco roared, "Spirits or not, they shouldn't be going there! Plus, you are the only female of the Dragon Guards that hasn't interacted with Alexis!"
"Ronaan hasn't!"
"You think I would have called her if she was available?!" Draco asked, "She's doing something in the Spirit World, that's why I called you! Now go find Alexis and tell her that her brother is awake!"
Draco and Gahlot started to snarl and bare their fangs at each other, before Gahlot huffs out, "Fine!" she hissed before vanishing. Draco sighed out in frustration.
"Just what the hell is her problem?!" he asked out loud.
"Young Lord," Kendov called out, getting his attention, "you must remember she was in a guild run by the worst of males, using the females of the Assassin Guild he ran for his pleasure and killing anyone who doesn't do what they are told or tries to quit."
"I get it Kendov." Draco replied, getting his shirt and blazer, "But not only did she manage to escape from that guild, but before fully joining the Dragon Guard, she personally went back and killed every member of the Blooded Blade, if any survived, she hunted down their new guild location and killed them again."
"That may be." Kendov replied, "But the torture she went through, both physical and mental, she still has nightmares about those days."
"I thought Vahraniik and Koraavnu helped her out?" Draco asked.
"They have, but it still remains."
Meanwhile, at the lakeside by the Blue Girl Dorm, Alexis panted out as she leans over, placing her hands on her knees, dripping with sweat as she looks up at the dorm on the other side of the lake.
"Hah-hah, d-damn! I-I was so-so close to f-finishing my r-routine." She panted out, before wiping her forehead of sweat. Then she gasps out as a sudden shot of cold water splashed on her face, causing her to jump back and pant more, "What the hell?!" she looked around and then looked at the lake seeing a familiar blue head.
"You look like you needed a cool splash to the face." Kulaas said, with a smile.
"Oh, hey Kulaas." Alexis replied, "I keep forgetting you are still here."
"Yeah, but not for long." Kulaas replied.
Alexis raised a brow before slowly glancing behind the Water Dragoness, seeing a small dragon. Its scales were mostly a bright red, its underbelly was a bright orange, as well as the fins along the side of its head and the horns were red at the base that faded to orange towards the tip. The little dragon stayed underwater as it looked back, clearly looking at Alexis.
"Kulaas? Is that?" Alexis asked as the Blue Dragoness looked back and smiled.
"Oh yes, that's my daughter." She replied, "Well, mine and Vulok's daughter."
"Um, Vulok?" Alexis asked, "I don't think I've meant him."
"He's the Fire Dragon Prince." Kulaas explained, "I wanted nothing to do for him, but time went on and he mellowed out from that dick headedness of his."
"So, what's your daughter's name?" Alexis asked being curious, "Unless, there is some Dragon tradition, that either the same sex parent names their child or both have to agree with it?"
"Well, it's somewhere between the two." Kulaas replied, "Since it is a daughter, I have the naming rights and Vulok has to agree to any name I give out."
Alexis thought over what she was told, before slightly blushing, "So, if Draco and I made it official, and I end up having children of our own, depending on their gender will—"
"I know where you are going with this, Alexis." Kulaas said, interrupting her, "And yes, if you had a girl, you would name her, and if a boy, Draco will name him."
They both giggled at the thought before Kulaas looked back and began to sway her tail, while Alexis watched the little red dragoness swam after the tail, snapping her small jaws trying to bite at it.
"So, does she have teeth, or well fangs?"
"All dragons have fangs at birth." Kulaas replied, "Just not a full mouth, we start with four fangs on our upper and lower jaws in the front, two on each, and eight molars."
"Four on the upper jaw and lower jaw, two on each side?"
"Yup. We don't give off milk like you humans do."
"So, it's meat right from the egg?"
"I guess in more of a fishman's point, more like chum." Kulaas giggled, "And before heading back to the Spirit World, I'm going to have to get her on land."
"Why's that?" Alexis asked.
"As a Water Dragon, we have both gills and lungs, when we hatch, our air or waterway to our gills are already developed so we can breathe, but the lungs are still developing. After a few hours, they will be fully developed, and we have to force the young hatchling on to land for them to open their airway to the lungs."
"Wait, you pretty much have to suffocate her?" Alexis gasped.
"Trust me, I don't like the sound of it either, but we all have to do it." Kulaas replied, "And it's hard for a mother Water Dragon."
"Because of your motherly instincts to keep your child safe, but the Dragon instincts are telling you to leave her to open her airway." Alexis put it together.
"Yeah, it's like a rite of passage for us." Kulaas replied, "Her lungs will be ready by nightfall, which is prefect since no one will see us."
"Finally, there you are!" a voice snarled out, causing Alexis to jump in fright as Kulaas was ready to dive back into the water, before she noticed a dark scale Dragoness in a tree glaring at them, as she sighs out in frustration.
"It's always a pleasure to see you too, Gahlot." She groaned.
Gahlot jumped from the tree and walked up to Alexis, "I'm not here for you!" she hissed out at Gahlot, then looked at Alexis, "You couldn't be in your fucking room?!"
Alexis, being puzzled by the harsh Dragoness, "I'm sorry?"
Gahlot just lets out an annoyed huff, "You need to go to your Healer's Office, now!"
Alexis watched as the Assassin began to walk away, "What do you mean?" she asked, "You mean, the Nurse's Office?"
"By the Gods, it's the same fucking thing!"
"Hold on, Gahlot!" Kulaas snarled, "If Draco asked you to tell Alexis to head to their Nurse, there has to be a reason!"
"For fuck sake!" Gahlot roared, "Take the hint 'Your Highness'! I don't want to be here! He wants her to go to their Healer's Office!"
"What's the reason, Gahlot?!" Kulaas hissed.
"Just some human waking up from its nap!" Gahlot snarled back, "That's all I'm fucking care to give or to care!" She turned her back to the two before vanishing, returning to the Spirit World. Kulaas was left snarling and growling in the water as Alexis stood there trying to figure out what Gahlot was saying.
"Gods! Either the Captain or His Lordship needs to talk to her about that attitude she has!" Kulaas snarled.
"By 'His Lordship' do you mean Draco?" Alexis asked.
"No! I mean King Krono!" She yelled back, before realizing who she was talking to, "Sorry, Alexis. I have no idea why Gahlot was acting like that."
"I'm still trying to figure out what she was talking about." Alexis replied, before her eyes slightly lit up, "Wait, Draco told her to tell me to go Nurse Fortaine's office and mentioned someone waking—" she let out a gasp before suddenly running off away from the dorm.
"Huh, guess she figured—GAH!" Kulaas gasped out, and dove back under the water, looking at her daughter biting down at her tail, "Mal gein, hi muldeytorax ko folaas fahmey." ("Little one, you bit in the wrong spot.")
In the Spirit World, Gahlot returned to the Guild huffing out in anger, removing her Sais from their hip straps before throwing them towards Heimwahl's station, impaling them into the back wall. Heimwahl's head poked up from where he was laying and looked up at the Sais in the wall.
"And just who are you pissed off at this time, Lass?" he asked.
"FUCK OFF, GRAY SCALES!" she snarled back, as she stomped into the main building. She continued down a hallway before reaching for the handle of a room but groaned out as she heard a hum in a satchel she was carrying, pulling the communication orb.
"Who the fuck is trying to—" she began to snarl but let out a startled, "Eep!" as the orb revealed Kinbok baring his fangs and glaring menacingly at her.
"Office! NOW!" he snarled before the orb went dark. The dark Dragoness walked to the end of the hallway and reached up to knock at the door, "Enter!" Kinbok snarled from the other side.
Gahlot opened the door, seeing the black and white scaled Dragon glaring at her, "So, is there something you need to report?!" he clearly demanded.
"I…I wasn't on a mission." She replied, "I have nothing to report."
Kinbok then opened a drawer and pulled a letter out and held it up, "Then explain this?!" Gahlot raised a brow before looking at the paper closely, then the color in her face drained in terror, as the letter read; "Captain Kinbok, I felt the Roar of Dominance at my workstation, to summon our Assassin. If Gahlot has nothing to report, have her come to the Dark Fortress, so I may question her personally. Sincerely, Krono, King of Dragons."
"Why did King Krono request you to report to the Dark Fortress?!" Kinbok asked, "We all felt the Young Lord's roar when he summoned you. Head to the Dark Fortress, we all know what will happen if we ignore this request."
Gahlot clicked her tongue slightly growling, "Yes, Sir." She grumbled, before turning around leaving the office. Kinbok sighed out in frustration, he heard the door click open as Sahlos walked in as well as young magenta dragoness walking on her hind legs, Kinbok looked up at the two who entered.
"W-w-what's wr-wrong, D-D-Daddy?" Sogaal struggled to ask.
Kinbok couldn't help but give a warm smile, "That was very good Sogaal." Kinbok told he daughter, "A little more practice and you won't be struggling to speak it."
"So, did Gahlot explain why a Roar of Dominance was called for her?" Sahlos asked.
"She did not." Kinbok replied, "So, she is heading to the Dark Fortress to speak to King Krono himself."
"Being summoned by the Royal Family by a letter," Sahlos muttered, "that is never a good sign."
Sometime earlier at the Game Shop, Krono just handed three packs of Duel Monsters that a little kid paid while their parents smiled. As they walked away, Krono's eyes snapped as what he heard was a very faint roar.
"Hmm." He pondered, "Hey, Tristan!"
"What's up?"
"Take over the counter for a few minutes, I need to ask Mr. Muto something." Krono replied. After they swapped positions, Krono went to the living room to see Solomon teaching some young kids, who want to be Duelists, his style which is the Heart of the Cards.
"Mr. Muto?" Krono asked out, "I need to have a word with you."
"Oh?" he asked, "Alright youngsters, keep practicing shuffling your decks. I'll be right back."
They both went to the kitchen, away from prying ears, "So, what's the problem, Krono?"
"I need to return to my domain." Krono replied.
"Uh, you mean your house, correct?"
Krono slightly sigh and looked at Solomon, "I mean the domain I rule in the Spirit World." Krono replied, "I rule over the Dark Fortress, which is home to most of the Dark Dragons but it's the home of the Red-Eyes Black Dragon breed."
"Oh dear." Solomon muttered, "Has something happened?"
"I believe so." Krono replied, "The wife and I have what is called the 'Roar of Dominance', we use it to put other dragons who are stepping out of line back into their place."
"And this is relevant, how?"
"Well, to put it simply." Krono explained, "If the wife used it, it would have sound like she was in the same room as we are. But I heard it very faintly, which could only mean,"
"Your youngster used it." Solomon replied.
"I believe so." Krono replied, "I heard a name from the Dragon Guards being called. So, I need to head to my domain and see what it was all about."
"Well, I won't be keeping you from that, I'll inform Tristan and Joey what's going on." Solomon replied. Krono gave his thanks as he walked pass the counter, confusing Tristan.
"Hey, dude?" he called out, "Where are you going?"
"I was just coming to tell you Tristan." Solomon said, "Krono just remembered he has important family business to attend to."
It took Tristan a few seconds on the emphasis on "Important family" before releasing what Solomon meant, "OH!" Tristan gasped, "Alright, never mind the question, dude." Krono continued out the door, nearly running into Joey as they both slightly jumped back.
"Whoa, Dude? Is your shift over already?" Joey asked.
"No, Joey. I have some family business to attend to." Krono replied.
"Are they that important?"
Krono looked back before pulling Joey closer, by hanging his arm over his neck, "By 'family business' Joey," he whispered, "I mean 'Royal Affairs' back in my ruling domain."
"Damn, that is important." Joey muttered.
Krono got to his motorcycle and began to drive back to his house. Over at the Kaitos household, Tinkhec, Nudyarl, and Lorpar having done their daily duties of the time, were enjoying some down time with some tea.
"Hey, did any of you two felt that chill a few minutes ago?" Lorpar asked.
"I felt it." Nudyarl replied.
"So did I." Tinkhec added, "But I also think I heard a faint yell as well."
"It sounded more like a roar than a yell." Lorpar pointed out.
"Mmm. Did it also sound like a name was being called out with that roar?" the purple maid asked, after swallowing her sip of tea.
The red and green maid also agreed they heard it as well, before hearing a motorcycle pulling into the driveway. Lorpar quickly finished her tea and fixed her uniform as she went to the door as it opened.
"Welcome home, King Krono." She greeted, "You have returned earlier than expected."
"It's important affairs, Lorpar." He replied, "Is my mate still in the bed?"
"She's currently getting a massage from Ernus and Sheou right now." Tinkhec replied.
"Your Highness?" Nudyarl asked, "If it's not overstepping my boundaries, does your early return have anything to do with the faint roar or yell we heard?"
Krono sighed out as he rubbed his head, "Well, being eighty percent Dragon, you would have heard or even felt it." He said, "Yes, the roar was the reason for me returning home early."
The three girls looked at each other, puzzled, "Now to clear it up," Krono told them, "what you girls heard was called the 'Roar of Dominance' a type of call that only the Royal Bloodline of Dragons can use."
"I've… I've heard about that roar." Tinkhec spoke up, "I-I read it in a history on Dragon Rulers. One of them created a call that terrified the others into submission and that dragon was crowned as the first Dragon King."
"I know the book you are speaking of." Krono replied, "And he was crowned as the Tyrant Dragon, using the Roar to make others submit to him, only to be dethroned and killed by a member of the White Dragons, that not only took the crown but also inherit the Roar."
"And if I recall the crown went back and forth between the White Dragon and Black Dragon bloodlines." Lorpar stated, "Until some years ago when the heirs of both sides became mates."
"Which was myself and Saffira."
"Oh, right."
"So, if the Royal Bloodline is the only one that can use that roar," Nudyarl spoke up, "who used it?"
"I'll give you all a moment to think about it." Krono told them, "I came home because of it, Saffira is busy getting pampered to use it."
"Wait, Sire, are you saying the Young Prince used it?" the purple dressed maid asked.
"That's what I'm thinking." Krono replied, "Now, I'm going to talk to Saffira before I open a portal to the Dark Fortress. And asking me why the Dark Fortress is stepping over the line." Krono walked up the stairs and turned down the hall to his and Saffira's bedroom, opening the door and seeing his mate laying on a massage table on her stomach as Ernus and Sheou worked on her legs and thighs.
"Major cramps in the legs?" Krono asked, Saffira was about to answer before Sheou pressed at the right area getting her to moan out.
"Ooh, yes!" Saffira moaned out, "Ah, I needed that. I take it you also heard the R.o.D. as well?"
"If I may question," Sheou spoke up, "Does 'R.o.D' stand for the 'Roar of Dominance' by any chance?"
"It does, Sheou." Saffira replied.
"Is that why I felt a chill moments ago?" Ernus asked, as she applies pressure to Saffira's right leg and got another moan out.
"Indeed." Sheou replied, "Anyone with Dragon Lineage ranging from ten to a hundred percent are able to feel the dominating roar." She explained, "Those ranging from one to nine percent tend to ignore the call."
"So, you think Draco used it?" Saffira asked.
"It was faint, but I'm sure it was him." Krono replied, "And I know who he called as well."
"Which is why you are here." Saffira stated, "You need to go to the Dark Fortress and summon her for the reason behind the Roar."
"Indeed." Krono replied, "I'll be back as soon as I get an answer from her." Krono extended an arm as a ring of Black Flame manifested in front of their bedroom door, revealing on the other side a stone covered room. He walked through the Spirit Gate as his illusion faded revealing his true form on the other side before the gate vanished. In the Spirit World Krono opened the wooden door, walking through the hallway startling what seemed to be a servant of the Fortress, wearing a black dress as she gasped out.
"L-Lord Krono?!" she gasped, "Y-you've—"
"I need a parchment and a quill." Krono ordered.
"Y-yes, Sire!" she quickly ran off down a hallway from the cross intersection, "Bring them to the Throne room!" Krono yelled at her. He continued down his hallway, getting startled looks from other servants, a few Dragons or Wyverns, and even a Gearfried with the marks on his armor glowing bright red, stood against the wall, placing his shield arm across his chest. Krono made it to the throne room, pushing the two large wooden doors open and sat down in the black chair, adorn with red orbs and markings, it wasn't long before the servant he met on his arrival, approached the throne with the required items as well as Red-Eyes Dark Dragoon approaching as well.
"King Krono." He greeted as he kneeled, "It's always a pleasure to have your appearance to the Dark Fortress, although why a sudden appearance?"
"I'm sure you felt the Roar?" Krono asked, taking the parchment and quill and began to write a message down, "It seems my son's power is growing, much faster than Saffira and I thought."
"Well," Dark Dragoon started, which caused Krono to stop his message and look up at one of his generals.
"Are you saying you knew this would happen?"
"Not entirely, Sire." He replied, "Your son, the Young Prince, is a Dragon born of the two strongest Dragon Bloodlines and he inherited both of the Flames."
"Thus, making him, so far, the strongest Dragon ever to be born?" Krono asked.
"The strongest White Dragon and Black Dragon, Sire."
Krono finished his message, fold it up and then placed a drop of sealing wax on the crevasse before pressing the side of his wedding ring into the wax, showing the mark of the Royal Family. He then performed a small chant as the letter was engulfed by his flame and vanished.
"Was that a summoning request, Sire?" Dark Dragoon asked.
"It was a summoning order." Krono corrected, "I have a feeling my son used the Roar on one of the Dragon Guards. More specifically, the Assassin."
"And being not only the Dark Dragon Ruler, but the Dragon King—"
"She will have no choice but to answer the summons." Krono then waved his hand, "You both can leave."
Dark Dragoon and servant girl both bowed their heads and turned to leave, "And Dark Dragoon? If you see Gahlot at the entrance, inform her to report to the throne room."
"Of course, Sire."
They left the room as the large doors creaked shut behind them, Dark Dragoon looked down and the young girl as she shivered.
"I forget, you just received your Blessings of the Red-Eyed Dragon." He told her.
"Um, yes Sir." She muttered, "I knew about Lord Krono thanks to the books and the vision pool to see how he was in the past to now."
"But seeing him in person is whole different experience?" getting quick nods from her, "You don't have anything to fear." He told her, "King Krono, doesn't anger easily to those under his rule, it's those that are outside his rein or who insult his family, are the ones to be afraid."
The walked pass an open door as a dark sinister claw flipped what seemed to be a demonic tarot card revealing the image, "Hmm Struggling Mortal: Up-Right, Clockwise Angle: a mortal in the Human World will face a great challenge. Sword of Righteous Justice: Side-Ways Angle, Handle First: a great battle will decide the fate of two souls. Devil King: Up-Right. This is indeed troublesome."
Back at the Academy, Alexis ran through the halls, panting heavily as she ran to the Nurse's Office, seeing Draco already standing outside of the office, holding a bottle of water out as he noticed her.
"I figured you might need this." He told her, "After getting the news on Atticus, you must have ran here with the weights on."
Alexis took the bottle and began to drink the cool water, emptying the bottle in a matter of seconds, "Gah! How could I not?!" She asked, gasping for air, "I get word that my brother is finally awake!"
"I just hope Gahlot wasn't too much of a bitch." Draco replied, "I just don't know what I'll do with her attitude."
"If I can put my own opinion?" Alexis asked, "Shouldn't your Captain of the Dragon Guards deal with her?"
Draco thought for a moment before smiling, "Yeah, you're right." He said, "I don't have to do any 'Royal Duties' yet. I think my parents say until I get named a 'Dragon Lord' I don't have to do anything like they do."
"How do you get the title?" Alexis asked.
"I think I read about it when I was ten." He replied, "I think it book said, I have to prove myself to a very powerful Dragon, almost like say close to a God."
"Or maybe your parents, when they think you are ready?" Alexis questioned.
"Oh, yeah." He replied, "Things just happen the past few months. Shall we see you brother?"
Alexis gives him a nod as Draco opened the door, noticing Vahraniik was in the room, looking back at them as he glances over as Atticus was sitting up, rubbing his head.
"Hey Vahraniik?" Draco asked, "Can he see you?"
"I thought it'll be best if he couldn't at first." She replied, "Also, your mother is doing fine. Her labor was rough, but she successfully laid the egg and is resting and relaxing."
"And what about his mind?"
"He remembers everything about Alexis as well as their family." She replied, "And what he last remembers here at the Academy."
Draco then looked at Alexis and with a simple nod, messaging her it was fine, Alexis walked up to her brother.
"Atticus?" she asked, getting him to look up at her, "How are you feeling?"
"Well, my head feels like it was split open with pliers." He chuckled before groaning out, "But Alexis? What are you doing at the Academy?"
Alexis was slightly taken aback, but remembered how long he was gone, "Mr. Rhodes." Fortaine spoke up, "You've been missing for two years. Alexis became the top Obelisk Girl in her first year, which was a year ago."
"Two years?" Atticus asked, "So, Alexis is in her second year?" He looks at his little sister before looking at Draco, "And who are you?"
"I'm a first year at the Academy." Draco replied, "I'm Draco Kaitos, and while you were gone, I manage to take the number one spot from Zane."
Atticus slightly groaned, holding his head again, "Ugh, Zane? Zane Truesdale? Th-that's impossible."
"Trust me, you are not the only one to think that." Draco told him, "Especially since I'm a Slifer. No one would believe that at first." Draco chuckled sheepishly to try to keep the mood up.
Vahraniik sighed out and looked at Alexis, "You need to ask the important question."
"Important question?" Alexis thought, "What important question?"
"What is the last thing he remembers." Vahraniik replied, getting a shocked expression from Alexis, "Oh, Draco hasn't told you we can hear your thoughts now?"
"No, he hasn't."
"Well, now you know. We all agree it would be best if you were in a situation like this."
Alexis took a deep breath and looked at her brother, "Atticus? I have something to ask you."
He tiredly looked at her, "What is it, Lexie?"
Draco slightly let out a snorted stiff of a laugh, as Alexis glared at him, "Sorry, sorry." He replied, "I never had a sibling until now, so I forgot siblings give each other little sibling pet names."
Alexis sighed, rolling her eyes and then looked back at her brother, "What is the last thing you remember?" she asked him, "It might lead to a clue on what really happened to you."
Atticus closed his eyes, trying to remember, "I-I remember going to the Elite Dorm for our monthly meet-up." He said, "Then a duel with strange dragons."
"Uh-oh." Draco thought as Vahraniik muttered the same thought, "But then I woke up here."
"That is understandable you don't remember much." Fortaine told her student.
"Hmm Elite Dorm?" Draco questioned out loud, "Nurse Fortaine? Is that what the Abandon Dorm was originally called?"
"It was." She replied, "It's where the top five of all the dorms, ten in total of each boys and girls, their colors meant nothing. They had a monthly get-together."
"Hmm, maybe I can have Kroluhaal, Koraavnu, and Mindokah to look back at the dorm." Draco thought to himself. Alexis noticed Draco's deep in thought stare.
"Well, Atticus." Alexis spoke up, "We'll let you rest some more. It's clear your head is currently killing you." Draco looked slightly surprised as the Nurse smiled.
"I do think that's for the best." She stated, "If he does remember anything else, I'll be sure to write it down and give it to you when you return."
Vahraniik took it as a que as her right hand began to glow as she placed it by Atticus' head causing him to get drowsy before laying down.
"Finally had a good excuse to use sleep magic." Vahraniik said, "It's something I rarely use."
"Why do you know such magic?" Fortaine asked.
"Well, it's in case some people are having an aftershock from a battle, or the illness is causing them to be restless and unpredictable, that they have to be held or strap down."
"A healer has to do whatever they can to ensure proper healing." Draco told them.
"I see." Alexis replied, "By the way Draco, I noticed your 'Thinking Face' a moment ago. You were thinking about sending some of your Guards to the Abandon Dorm to see if it has some connection with the Spirit World?"
"Close." Draco replied, "Not connections to the Spirit World, but to the Shadow Realm." He then looked at his Healer, "Vahraniik, when you return to the Guild, tell Kroluhaal, Koraavnu, and Mindokah to investigate the Abandon Dorm and see who can be sent as their escorts/bodyguards."
"Of course." She replied, "I'll do that when I do a final check-up with Atticus here."
"Thanks, Vahraniik." Draco replied.
"I do appreciate you are still looking after my brother." Alexis added.
"He was trapped in the Shadow Realm; I have to be sure nothing is lingering in him."
Draco and Alexis left the office, Fortaine looked at Vahraniik, "So, you still think he is being controlled or something?"
"Controlled or still under the influence." She replied, "When I try to open his mind more, it is clear there is something there preventing me from opening his mind or to further his recovery."
"Best to keep that to ourselves, right?" Fortaine asked.
"Exactly." Vahraniik replied, "Plus, with Draco asking for the Guards to look into the Abandon Dorm, he might be on to something."
A few minutes later, Draco used his PDA to message everyone to meet up in Chazz's room. Once everyone was present, Alexis told them about her brother's condition.
"Well, that is some good news." Syrus sighed out with a smile.
"Uh, Syrus?" Mana asked, "How about we only have two more Shadow Riders to duel?"
"She does have a point." Chazz added, "Plus; herself, myself, Kaitos, and Alexis are the only ones with our Key."
"We still shouldn't get cocky." Draco told him, "Don't forget Carmela was the second Shadow Rider, and she defeated two of us in a row."
"Yeah, true." Chazz muttered.
"I've also noticed one thing." Yellow spoke up, "With each one that you dueled, they got harder."
"In a way they have." Alexis pointed out, "Except for Abidos."
"In his case, it was servants and guards being told to lose to him." Draco mention, "But he does have the potential to be a great Duelist."
"Heh, I wouldn't be surprised at one point we either meet a descendant of him or we see him again." Chazz chuckled.
"Given the fact, we went to the Spirit World, and he did travel through time, I wouldn't be surprised." Draco chuckled out.
"But getting back to the matter of the last two Riders." Alexis said, "Draco, do you think they are going to be tough to beat?"
Draco lean in his chair, closing his eyes, to think deeply on the question, "Hmm." He thought loudly, "It could be possible that they could be someone who knows how to duel or one that is deep in the magic of the Shadow Realm."
"If they are that far down," Mana spoke up, "Then they will need souls to stay in our world."
Draco sighs out as he stands up, "Alright, let's just keep our guard up. If we worry about them, we'll just play into their hands." He then started to head to the door, "By the way, Alexis? There is something I need to talk to you about."
Alexis stood up and followed Draco outside, getting a few meters from the dorm, "So, what is it you need to talk about?" she asked, before looking over and noticed Kendov leaning against a tree, "Wait, does he want to see how far I have come with the weights?"
"Trust me, I've been telling him it's not a good time." Draco replied.
"With what I saw, Alexis," Kendov spoke up, "You ran from the lake in front of your Dorm all the way to the Nurse's Office without stopping. Which with your combine weight of 360 kilograms, it is impressive."
Alexis sighs out, placing her hands on her hips, "So, what is it you want to see me do?"
"Take an offensive stance." Kendov slightly ordered. Alexis slightly rolled her eyes before taking an offensive fighting stance as Draco took the Basic Defensive Stance, "Just attack the Young Lord as much and as best as you can."
"All I'm doing Alexis, is blocking and redirecting the attacks." Draco told her, "Just be ready, when I redirect attacks, you won't be losing momentum."
"Hajime!" Kendov snarled out.
Alexis took off, charging at Draco. He braced himself, blocking the first few punches she threw at him, before he began to dodge and redirect the attacks, causing Alexis to lose her footing slightly, she quickly recovered, swinging her arm back, to which Draco used both of his arms to block. Alexis planted her foot to the ground before lifting her other leg, leveling it with Draco's head as he lowered his arms and noticed the high kick.
"OH SHIT!" he yelled in his thoughts, before leaning back, narrowly avoiding the kick, and placed a hand to the ground to keep his balance.
"Ya-me!" Kendov yelled. Alexis placed her leg back down to regain her balance, with her back to Draco, she looked back at him.
"D-did I just try and kick Draco?" she asked in shock, "In the face?! Without losing balance?!"
"Yeah, yeah you did." Draco replied, just as shocked as he pushed himself back to his feet. Kendov looked at them, surprised at Alexis' improvement, before chuckling softly, "Uh, Kendov? What are you thinking over there?"
"I think it's time." He replied, "Alright, change stances! Alexis you are on the defensive now. Get into the Basic Defensive Stance." Alexis began to get into the stance Draco was using, "But first; both of you, remove the weighted bands. All of them!"
Draco looked at his former Sensei, before smiling. He then removed the band on his left wrist, then dropped it as it hits the ground with an auditable "Thud!" kicking up dust and even dug into the ground slightly. He then removed the right wrist band, which did the same as the first one, then removed the ones on his ankles. He lets out a very refreshing sigh before he begins to slightly hop or bounce in place. Alexis slowly removed the band on her right wrist, hearing it as hits the ground, slightly shocked from the "Thud!" she heard, then removed the other band on her left wrist, followed by her ankles.
"Hey, Alexis?" Draco called out, still bouncing in place.
"Yes?"
"You should loosen up with what I'm doing, it'll help the blood flow and get you adjusted to the lose weights."
Alexis raised a brow, before sighing lightly and began to shake her wrists and feet for a bit before taking a small hop, only to gasp out and Draco quickly catching her as she came back down.
"You good?" he asked.
"Not really." She replied, "Did I just hop 90 centimeters into the air?"
"You did." Kendov replied, "That is equal to three feet straight off the ground. That is why Draco told you to loosen up."
They spent a few minutes getting Alexis adjusted to her new state of physical being, "Alright you two, Stances!" Kendov ordered. Alexis took the Basic Defensive Stance and Draco took the Offensive Stance of his Martial Arts.
"Hajime!"
Draco took off in an instant, getting in front of Alexis in less than two seconds, throwing one punch after another as she narrowly dodged, block, and poorly deflected each attack, throwing a random kick every now and then to keep her on her guard. However, Draco pushed his luck as he went for a high kick, to which Alexis blocked it successfully and landed her own kick, causing Draco to slightly groan and fall over as he held his crotch.
"Ya-me!" Kendov roared and quickly ran to Draco's side as he whimpered out.
"Oh my god!" Alexis gasped, "Draco, am I so sorry! It-it was just reflexes!"
"No!" he squeaked out, "No, th-that was a good counterattack."
"We need to get him to the Healer." Kendov groaned out, feeling the pain, "Vahraniik! The Young Lord needs healing, now!"
The Healer appeared groaning out in frustration, "By the Gods, Kendov!" she snarled, "I was busy with Alexis' brother, what did you do that caused—WHAT IN THE ANCESTERS' NAMES HAPPENED?!"
"Training accident." Kendov replied, "I had Alexis and the Young Lord practice, and she countered one of his attacks."
"I am so sorry; it was on reflex!" Alexis stated.
"It happens." The Healer replied, as she began to heal Draco, "Luckily it wasn't too bad, most of the blow was into the leg and NOT the sensitive area."
"Still hurts like fucken hell!" Draco whimpered.
"That aside," Kendov added with a smile and looked at Alexis, "That was an impressive counterattack. I believe you can learn the rest of the Dragon Guard Style."
"Are you sure?" Alexis asked, "I mean, I just hurt Draco."
Draco lets out a groan, being able to straighten himself, "Yeah, you did." He groans out, "But that will happen in spar training. But I'm so glad your accuracy with your new speed isn't precise yet."
"What do you mean?" she asked.
"What he means is, you missed his jewels and mostly got his leg, but clipped enough for it to feel like you did." Vahraniik replied.
"Yeah, pretty much." Draco added, "But that's why Kendov is saying you can learn the rest of the Martial Arts, to help you control the new speed and power."
"And you will be the first Human to learn it." Kendov stated, "Consider yourself, one lucky human, Alexis."
"But, let's keep where you tried to kick me, between us." Draco requested.
"Y-yeah." Alexis replied.
They return to group with the positive news, while the two Guards vanished to return to their own duties. The rest of the day went uneventful, studying for the finals. However, at night, Kulaas slowly emerged from the lake and looked around.
"Ok, time to get this over with and return home." She thought as she returns into the water, and reemerging moments later, with her daughter in her mouth, before placing the new-born red dragonling on the land. She began to gasp out, unable to breath as she tried to return to the water, but Kulaas pushed her daughter back, keeping her out, as she continues to struggle to breath.
"Sweetie, this is just as hard for me as it is for you!" Kulaas thought, "You need to open the airway to your lungs, you can do it!"
The little red dragonling continued to try to get back into the water, while her movement got more and more sluggish and her gasping got quieter, before the little dragonling's throat slightly bulge and she ended up spitting or rather puking up a lob of bile. She then inhales deeply and began to let out loud cries. Kulaas smiled as her eyes slightly watered up, before she then leans closer and began to lovingly nuzzle her child.
"Krosis, dii mal gein." She said as she nuzzles her daughter, "Zu'u mindok nii lost faazaal, nuz mu lost wah dreh tol." (Sorry, my little one. I know it was painful, but we had to do that.)
Kulaas picked her daughter up and placed her back in the water while she sniffled, "Bo, vos bo hofkiin." (Come, let's go home.) She brought her daughter underwater before she began to swim in a circle, increasing her speed, before a ring was formed and the center of it began to glow, as Kulaas created a Water Spirit Gate. She then swims through it as it quickly vanished. At the Guild, Koraavnu was meditating by the large pond the guild had for the Water Dragons of the guild and for any Spirit Gates for the water, as one such opened, and the Blind Sage gave a warm smile.
"Well, welcome back, Princess Kulaas." He said, "It would seem that you finally returned, and I can see something is different."
Kulaas just chuckles as she lets her daughter go form her mouth to let her swim around, "It's good to see a scaley and friendly face again." She replied, "And yes, I guess you can 'see' my motherly glow I now have."
"Ah, that's what it is." Koraavnu stated, "And that also explains the mix of water and fire aura behind you. Which remains me." The Blind Sage then picked up a stone and casually threw it over his shoulder and into an open window, followed by a loud painfilled groan.
"You know, you're scary sometimes." Kulaas pointed out.
"Oh? How so?" Koraavnu asked.
"Well, you're blind, but your accuracy is always on point. Like one-hundred percent accuracy."
"Well, it helps to know who exactly I plan to hit." The doors to the main hall of the guild burst open as Vulok came out rubbing his head.
"KORAAVNU!" he roared out, "I know you threw that rock!"
"I did, and for good reason." He took a step to the side as Vulok's eyes widened and then ran to the pond.
"Kulaas! Where in the Gods names have you been?!"
"I don't see how that's any of your business." Kulaas slightly spat out.
"I wouldn't be talking in such distaste or venom, Princess." Koraavnu said, "After all, he has been in a panicked state for the past few days."
"Oh, yeah." Kulaas replied, sarcastically, "Because he was SO worried about being unable to command the water forces."
"What? No, I was worried about you!" the Fire Prince yelled, "I had to return to my father when HE learned you vanished."
"Again, why should I care?"
(Flashback)
Vulok walked passed many of the creatures that lived in domain of the Dragon Lord of Infernos, otherwise known as the "Volcanic Dragon Lord", the Fire Dragon Prince walked up a pathway that led into a very active volcano. Walking through the pathway as well as the many feral Volcano Dragons and Lava Drakes as he approaches a very large black dragon with what seems like lava glowing between the scales as an armor wearing anthro red Dragoness turned and faced Vulok as she began to leave the large chamber and stopped next to him, placing her hand on his shoulder.
"Try not to piss your father off." She hissed silently but caring.
"You know him better than anyone, how he is, Mother." Vulok muttered, as he then walked to the obsidian throne, and gulped loudly.
"So," the large Dragon boomed, "Care to explain, why the Water Dragon Princess hasn't been seen in her domain, or in that Guild you are in, my Son?"
Vulok was clearly shaking in fear from his father's question, "I-I…I honestly, have n-no idea wh-where she-she is." He stammered out.
The large Dragon stood up, slamming his left front hand into the ground, causing the volcano to rumble. (Or foot, we all know how a quadrupedal dragon looks. Their front legs seem to function like arms.)
"DO YOU TAKE ME AS A FOOL, BOY?!" he roared out. The rumble was felt outside of the volcano as was his roar. The armored Dragoness stopped in her tracks and sighed out in frustration, slumping her shoulders as she leans her head back.
"I requested one thing from him." She muttered, "NOT to piss off Yolstrunmah!"
She then leans her head forward and began to rub her eyes as she continued to sigh in frustration, "Lady Sahvoz?" she looks up, looking at a pale armor wearing anthro dragon.
"What is it, Yolosyem?"
"Is this a bad time?" he asked, "I was requested by the Captain to come and retrieve Prince Vulok."
"I'm sure you can tell it is a bad time." Sahvoz replied.
Back inside the cavern, "I swear, Dad!" Vulok panicked, "I don't know where she is!" he yelps out as his father stomps in front of him, snarling out.
"You better find her!" he snarled, "I grow tired of this war with Neo-Daedalus, since neither of us can expand our territory without destroy the other's territory, or by causing problems for everyone in between us!"
"You know she has despised me!" Vulok argued, "I was lucky I was finally able to mate—"
"ARE YOU THINKING WITH YOUR COCK AGAIN, VULOK?!" Yolstrunmah roared.
Vulok stumbled back and fell in the pool of lava that surrounded them, before resurfacing and coughed out, being grateful he was a Fire Dragon, "Your union with the Water Dragon Princess, was my proposal of peace with the Ocean Dragon Lord!" his father continued, "A proposal the Dragon Queen accepted!"
(Flashback Ends)
"WHOA! Hold on!" Kulaas yelled, "Your father asked Aunt Saffira to let us be mates?!"
"Yes!" Vulok replied.
"How did you know your mother talked to Yolosyem if you weren't there?" Koraavnu asked.
Vulok was about to answer, before he stopped and looked dumbfounded, "Huh. How the fuck did I know that?"
"So, your father was angry because he thought you drove me off?" Kulaas asked.
"Yes." Vulok replied, "My father and your father have been rivals long before the current Dragon Queen."
"If I recall," Koraavnu added, "I believe they have been rivals before Her Highness took the throne."
"My point is Kulaas," Vulok continued, "My life has been hell because I couldn't find you! Where have you been?!"
"You know it is the fishing season for the village on the beach that is close to my father's territory." Kulaas replied, "It was unsafe for me."
"Unsafe for you?!" Vulok asked, "One of the best swimmers of the Dragon Guards?"
Koraavnu cleared his throat, getting Vulok's attention, "Unsafe for the condition she was in. Now Princess, I think he should be allowed after all."
"What is he talking about?"
Kulaas just sighs out, before diving into the pond, "What is she—" Vulok began to question before the Blind Sage's staff pressed into his snout.
"Be quiet for now." He told him, "Or this will bash into your throat."
Kulaas returned to the surface holding the newborn close to her chest before climbing out of the pond as the little one looked around confused and then stared at Vulok as he stared back.
"Vulok," Kulaas spoke up, "meet your daughter, Foenkii."
"Wait, you're going to name her the combine of 'Frost' and 'Ember'?" Vulok asked.
"She may appear as a Water Dragon," Kulaas huffed, "but her red scales indicate she is half Fire Dragon. So, I gave her a name that shows she is both of Fire and Water."
"And it is tradition that the same sex parent, is the one that names the child." Koraavnu stated.
"We know!" Vulok and Kulaas replied in unison.
"Well, then you two must know, that your parents would want to hear the news, correct?"
Vulok groans out, grabbing his head and horns, "Ugh! I was there a few days ago!"
"And now you have to return." Koraavnu chuckled.
"And I have to make sure my father didn't go TOO crazy." Kulaas stated.
"I would recommend you two do that tomorrow." The Blind Sage stated, "It is late, and I'm sure the Princess needs the rest."
"You have no idea." She replied.
The three of them returned to the main hall and began to walk to their individual rooms. Meanwhile, one dark scale Dragoness flew across the night sky until she lands in front of a large dark building that has been carved into the mountain. She groans out as she looked at two watch towers each having a large dark dragon glaring and snarling at her. One being dark purple and almost rock-like scales and the other, black and what seems to be the remains of a Summoned Skull being worn like a trophy, however she groaned more seeing a man, wearing an armor with golden trims and the armor being that of a Red-Eyes Dragon.
"You have been expected, Gahlot." He told her.
"Yeah, yeah." She muttered, "Let's get this over with already, Dark Dragoon." The armored mage steps aside allowing Gahlot to enter the Dark Fortress and then looked up at the two large Dragons as they went back to guarding, nearly looking like statues. Gahlot and Dark Dragoon walked down the hallway, passing other warriors or servants and rooms, to which Gahlot looks into one, being one of the takeoff hangers, seeing Dark Blade instructing one of the Dark Knights how to fight while riding. Gahlot bared her fangs and let out a small hiss as she sees one of the knights mount a Red-Eyes before it ran into the center of the room and took off flying for patrol.
"Have I mention, how much I HATE these 'Dragon Riders', His Majesty conscripted?" Gahlot hissed out.
"Hmm, what's the year in the Mortal World?" Dark Dragoon asked.
"Last I saw those piles of paper with ink on them, it read '2004'." She replied.
"And Lord Krono created his Dragon Riders before being mates with Queen Saffira," Dark Dragoon stated, "so you have been mentioning it for the past four millenniums. EVERY. TIME. You see them."
"Well, I hate them!" Gahlot snarled, "A human riding a Dragon, feels like it's been subjugated to be a slave."
Dark Dragoon sighed out, "For the past 4,000 years, I have told you, it is a bond between the Dragon and the Dark Knight! It happened with Dark Blade and Red-Eyes Wyvern, and myself with a Red-Eyes Black Dragon."
Gahlot just huffed as they walked down the hallways, with Dark Dragoon stopping in front of a pair of large decorative doors, "Well, this is where I part ways from you." He said as he walked away.
"What?!" Gahlot asked, more like demanded.
"I was ordered to escort you to the throne room." He replied, "What happens beyond that, is between you and King Krono."
After he said the name, the large door slowly creaked open, getting Gahlot to jump slightly, as the doors opened, revealing the large room, with pillars each with torches and the walls had cravings of the Dark Fortress' history, and the far end; a small staircase that ended with a menacing dark throne, decorated to resemble the Black Dragons, glowing red lines in the cresses with the arm rests having two glowing rubies to resemble eyes and the head piece resembling a large Dark Dragon glaring at anyone who enters the room. Sitting on the throne was the ruling Lord and Master of the Fortress and Black Dragons as well as the King of Dragons, his arms elevated by his elbows as he arches them across his chest, before his eyes shot open, looking at Gahlot.
"Haav!" he snarled out the order. (Enter!)
The commanding snarl, Gahlot couldn't disobey the order as she shakingly entered the throne room as the doors closed behind her, clanking shut as she continued to the throne. Standing in front of the throne, Krono places his arms across the arm rests, causing the Assassin to immediately kneel before her Dark Dragon Lord and King.
"So," Krono started, "can you explain why I heard and felt a Roar of Dominance, at the Game Shop, this morning?"
Gahlot was visibly uncomfortable as she tenses from the calm question, "Th-the Young Prince summoned me th-this morning." She replied.
Krono raised a brow before standing up and began to descend the stairs, with each step echoing in the room. Gahlot grinds her teeth with each step as she trembles with each step as well. She began to sweat as the steps stopped, as she saw a pair of black claws and feet in front of her.
"Why did my son use the Roar to summon you?" Krono asked.
"It-it was a personal re-request he-he could have done." Gahlot stammered.
"A personal request he could have done?" Krono repeated, "Or because he was busy with his training and wanted to meet up with Alexis?"
Gahlot gasped lightly, "And the request was informing her about her brother?" Krono asked.
The Assassin slowly looked up at the Dragon King as he slightly glares down, "H-how did you know, Sire?"
Krono snapped his fingers, and another anthro Dragon appeared next to Gahlot already kneeling, "Because Vonzun told me after I sent the request for your presents." Krono growled.
Gahlot glared at her fellow Dragon Guard, "I don't need to tell you the dangers of using the Roar of Dominance over and over again, at a young age!" Krono continued, "It was the very reason the first and only Dragon Tyrant rose to power! The power to make other Dragons submit just by roaring at them, each use will drive the Royal that uses it to use it more and more!" Krono then glares at Gahlot as the pressure of the glare caused her to look down in pure terror, "Is that what you want for my son?! Your future King?!"
"No-no, Sire!" Gahlot replied.
"Your pride and stubbornness need to be kept in check." Krono stated, "Vonzun can't keep an eye on you every day. So, as the Dark Dragon Ruler, and as Dragon King! Gahlot: I hereby order you, until Alexis' brother fully recovers, to be her bodyguard!"
Gahlot shot her head up staring at Krono in disbelief, "And her orders are to be treated as if I am giving them to you! Are we clear?!" she hung her head in both shame and defeat.
"As you command, my King." She replied.
Krono turned and began to walk back to the throne, "Vonzun, escort Gahlot to the Teleport Chamber." He ordered, "Since that's how you got here."
"Only because I always came to report to you before I joined the Dragon Guards." Vonzun replied, "And it's the only way we Dragon Guards can report to you directly."
Both Vonzun and Gahlot rose to their feet and turned, leaving the room. Once the doors closed behind them. Gahlot glares at Vonzun, grabbing the leather belt that he wore across his chest for his daggers and pinned him to the wall.
"You!" she snarled, "YOU FUCKEN BASTARD! Because of you, I'm now protecting a human!"
"You brought this upon yourself, Gahlot." The Spy replied, and took hold of her arm, breaking free before flipping them around, pinning her to the wall with her arm pressed into her back, "We all, including the Young Prince, have warned you about your attitude."
Gahlot bared her fangs as she began to dissipate as a black fog before it vanished, causing her eyes to widen, "You seem to forget." Vonzun said, "King Krono and Queen Saffira used Old Magic that dispels all forms of stealth magic and skills. To prevent future assassinations."
Gahlot glared at him, before slamming her head back into his snout as he groans out, letting her go. Gahlot then grabbed Vonzun's arm and flung him over her shoulder and into the ground, before arm locking him as she sat on his back, "Like I need Assassin's Shade to kick your scaly ass!"
Vonzun groaned out, before raising his tail and wrapping around her neck, causing her to choke out as he pulled back, strangling her. Gahlot removed one hand from her arm lock to grab his tail, which freed him as he snarls out, using all his strength in his tail to fling her off and face down into the floor as she grunts out loudly.
"And you forgot we have tails!" he snarled.
They both stood up, before Gahlot used her wings to give her a boost to tackle Vonzun. Elsewhere in the Fortress, many Dark Knights were enjoying their meals, talking with others or even gambling as some servants went around with trays of food and drinks.
"Heh, a two-three-four-five-six Star hand!" one unarmored Knight said throwing his hand down as those on his side of the table chuckled and praised their fellow knight.
"Hmm." The female Knight pondered, "A good hand, but I don't think it's better than my ten-knight-queen-king-one Star hand!" she announced slamming her hand of cards down, getting her side to cheer out and the other side to groan in frustration.
"Are you serious?!" the male knight groaned as she began to gather up the gold coins she won.
"Well, that's what you get for saying 'Girls are easy to beat in anything'."
Just then one set of doors flung open and Gahlot slams into the table, causing it to break and causing the cards and coins to scatter and the Knights to be flung and to scatter from the sudden Dragoness slamming between them.
"What the?! Isn't that Gahlot the Assassin?!" "The Assassin of the Dragon Guards?!" "Do we have an intruder?!" many off-duty knights began to question, before Vonzun came flying through the open- or rather damaged doors and slammed his foot into her stomach, causing her to cough up blood.
"The Spy too?!" What the hell is going on?!" "50 Septums that the Spy wins!" "This is not the time for foolish gambling! …75 for the Assassin winning."
Gahlot glared through the pain at Vonzun before raising her bladed tip tail, slashing pass his right arm, getting him to groan out and lose his balance as Gahlot got up and slammed her fist into his jaw, sending him back a bit. The knights that surround the brawl backed up giving them room. They both glared and charged at each other, before a large black fireball slammed extremely close to them and exploded between them and sent them into the wall. They both groaned and struggled to get on their arms and knees as all eyes went to the door as Krono stood there with his Black Fire surrounding him and his arm extended out and an open palm, glaring with such rage, his presents made all the Knights kneel and the servants dropped their trays and kneeled as well.
"VONZUN! GAHLOT!" Krono roared, "YOU TWO ARE NOT RETURNING TO THE GUILD UNTIL ALL OF THIS IS CLEAN UP AND REPAIRED! ONCE YOU TWO ARE DONE: VONZUN, YOU WILL BE OFF THE GUILD'S ROSTER FOR MISSIONS! GAHLOT, YOU WILL RETURN TO THE MORTAL WORLD AND GUARD MY SON'S CHOSEN MATE! AM I CLEAR!?" They both groaned from the pain and hung their heads,
"Y-yes, S-Sire." They groan out. Krono then glared at all the Knights and servants, "PAH DO HI! BAAR TIR, NU!" (All of you! Clear out, now!)
The knights and servants began to quickly leave the mess hall, using the far end doors, once the final person left the room, Krono glared back to the two very injured and exhausted Dragon Guards, "WELL?!" he snarled at them, "WHAT ARE YOU TWO WAITING FOR?! GET TO CLEANING!" He then stormed away from the mess. Vonzun groaned and winced as he struggled to his feet, using the wine/ale storage rack to get to his feet.
"Sh-should h-have f-figured he w-would do th-that." Vonzun grunted out, "F-Forcing u-us to clean, wh-while not l-letting us re-recover."
Gahlot struggled more to stand up as she coughed more blood, "I-I al-also don't know-UGH! Don't kn-know why you were p-pissed off th-that I told him e-everything." Vonzun groaned out, "H-he was g-going to-to get it out of-of you."
Back in the throne room, Krono sighed heavily and frustrated, rubbing his eyes, before the doors began to open. He was about to yell at whoever was entering but stopped as he saw an elder Red-Eyes Darkness Dragon and an elder Copper-Eyes Golden Dragon. They both made their way to the throne.
"Well, we heard your outburst throughout the mountains." The Darkness Dragon spoke.
Krono sighed out and walked from the throne to the two old Dragons, "I do apologize, Mother." Krono replied, "I didn't wake yours and Father's sleep, did I?"
"Oh, we were starting to stir awake." The Golden Dragon answered, "But that outburst, was a good way to be fully woken to."
The Darkness Dragon lowered her head to Krono and gently nudged him, "Do you want to talk about what happened?"
Krono sighed out as the doors opened once more, "King Krono?" Dark Blade asked, before noticing the two Elder Dragons, "Oh! Master Murunvolvokun and Mistress Yuvonved! I-I'll re-AHEM! I'll see myself out."
The doors closed as the Golden Dragon chuckled, "Heh-heh, such loyalty." He said, "Now then, you were about to say, my son?"
The next day, Heimwahl yawned out as he cracked his back and began to leave the Guild's mess hall as the others ate, opening the door and jumping back.
"BLOODY HELL, LAD!" he yelled out, getting all the Dragon Guards there attentions as they also saw the beaten Spy struggling to stand there.
"Vonzun?!" Kinbok called out, "What the hell happened to you?!"
"C-Captain." He tiredly and weakly replied, "I-I'll give you a full report, but right now, I need to sleep."
"What you need is Vahraniik to look over your injuries!" Mindokah yelled out.
"She is right Vonzun." Kinbok added.
Vonzun raised his hand as he groans out, "Captain, I-I've spent the whole time at the Dark Fortress, cleaning up a mess I made with the injuries." Vonzun told his fellow Guards, "I'm tired, I just need some sleep, and our Healer has enough to deal with in the Human World." He began to struggle to walk, towards their rooms, "Also, C-Captain. I need to be removed from the Mission Board. King Krono's orders."
Kinbok looked on as his Spy struggled to walk, using the wall for support, "Wait, Vonzun!" Sahlos yelled out, "Where's Gahlot?! She was at the Dark Fortress as well!"
"Hu-Human World." He replied, "King Kr-Krono ordered her to be the bodyguard of the Young Prince's mate. Until her brother recovers." Vonzun entered his room with the door clicking behind him.
"Damn." Vulok muttered, "If he is in that shape, Gahlot is probably just as beat up as he is."
"I wonder if they got into a fight?" Ronaan asked.
"By the wounds," Dinok huffed, "Gahlot inflected those on him."
Kinbok looked at the Berserker as he sank his fangs into large chunk of mutton he was eating, "Why do you say that?" he asked.
Dinok tore the meat off the bone, chewed for a bit before swallowing, "Let's start with the fact that her scent is all over him." He replied, "And if that's not enough, there was blood on his chest, that didn't belong to him. So, he pinned her to the wall or threw her to the ground and got a good blow to her gut, making her spit up blood."
Kinbok groaned as he rubbed his eyes, "We all warned her." Sahlos spoke up, "We warned her, that her attitude would bring her harm."
"I know we did." Kinbok replied, "Someone needs to retrieve her from the Human World, so I can get a report from her."
"We can't do that, Sir." Kendov replied, "She was ordered to stay there and protect Alexis, by the King's orders, she can't return until Alexis' brother recovers."
At the Academy, Alexis stretched out, groaning in relaxation, feeling very refresh. Hoping out of bed, Alexis slightly startled herself as she was launched nearly halfway across her room, and then chuckled lightly.
"Yeah, Draco and Kendov was right." She muttered, "This is going to take some time to get used to." She then walks to the window to pull the curtains back, gasping out as she backed on to her bed. Instead of seeing a beautiful lakeside in the morning sun, Alexis saw a heavily injured Duel Spirit on the balcony. Alexis moved to the door to the balcony and opened it, looking at the Spirit recognizing it.
"Wait, aren't you Draco's Assassin?!" Alexis gasped.
Gahlot weakly looked over at her and let out an injured growl, "The Young Lord bitched to me about not knowing all of you human's names." She groaned out, "Yet I can't bitch about you not knowing my name?!"
"Well, to be fair," Alexis replied, "you're names are a little hard to remember."
"Our names coincide with our positions!" Gahlot hissed out, then groaned out, pressing her arm into her stomach as she hissed air through her fangs.
"We got to get somewhere more comfortable."
"I'm a Spirit!" Gahlot hissed through her pain, "You can't touch me!"
"Oh crap, that's right!" Alexis thought, "What can I do? She really needs to get off of this concrete ground! But how can I help if I can't touch her?!"
Alexis tried to think of a way to help the injured Dragoness, "Oh! I can't stay quiet anymore!" a voice from the room shouted out.
"What the?! Who's there?!" Alexis called out.
Gahlot hissed out and reached for one of her Sais and struggled to get to her feet, "Y-you can't be serious!" she groaned out, "I am in no mood f-for anyone that is allied with the Shadow Riders!"
Alexis looked back at the Assassin as she struggled, "You are not in any condition to fight anyone!" she yelled out. She looked back into her bedroom and stumbled slightly as who stood before her rather appear. A pink hair on-piece leotard with a short pink tutu.
"Sorry." The young girl said, "We knew the 'sudden appearance' scares you."
Alexis stared at the transparent girl before gasping lightly, "Cyber Tutu?"
"Yeah." She replied, "We were going to reveal at the end of the year, but I couldn't stay quiet when hearing what was going on out here."
"So, can you help?" Alexis asked.
"I'm not physically strong enough to lift her." Tutu replied, "But I do know who is. Gymnast!"
Alexis raised a brow and looked into her room and noticed a much larger woman, slightly darker skin, similar to a tan, wearing a black and purple leotard, having a full-face mask.
"Tutu, we all agreed to reveal ourselves, when this year ended." Gymnast told the young girl.
"I know, but with how the dragon looks—"
"Oh, fuck you!" Gahlot snarled out, getting all of them to look at her, "This human, that I'm ordered to bodyguard I get, but a Duel Spirit?! FUCK NO!"
"Wait, 'Bodyguard'?" Alexis repeated, "What do you mean?"
"Let's get back to that in a bit." Gymnast suggested, "And Tutu, she does have a point, all Duel Spirits knows about the Dragon Guards AND their names."
"Look, I know!" Tutu argued, "But do we really have the time for that right now?!"
Gymnast just sighed and walked towards Gahlot and kneeled down, "Alright, let's get you to the bed."
"If you touch me, I swear—"
"You'll what, cough up blood on me?" Gymnast asked, as she lifts the injured Assassin, which in turn she did in fact cough up blood, that splattered on to her face mask. Both Alexis and Tutu's face turned blue as they looked in disgusted, "Good thing this mask covers my whole face." Gymnast stated, "Because that was gross." She lifts Gahlot up and walked back into the room and placed her on the bed, "Also, good thing we are spirits, and the blood won't stain the bed."
"Ok, getting back to my questions." Alexis suggested.
"Actually, you only had one." Tutu said.
"I have two!" Alexis slightly yelled, "The first is you two said 'All of us', how many Duel Spirits are in my deck?"
"Well," Gymnast said, as she leans to the wall, "there's myself, Tutu, Etoile, Prima, Cyber Blader, and the Cyber Angels."
Alexis looked over to Cyber Tutu, "By Cyber Angels, she means all of them." She explained.
"So, Natasha, Benten, Idaten, Dakini, Izana, and Vrash?" Alexis asked.
"Yup." Tutu replied.
"Speaking of." Gymnast spoke up, "Are any of you girls going to come out?! She knows!"
There was a frustrated sigh, before three more Duel Spirits appeared, "Tutu," Etoile sighed out, "why did you reveal yourself for a second time?!"
"A second time?" Alexis thought.
"Hey! That time the cute boy was calling us out!" Tutu shouted, "And you were being rude to him!"
"Who are they talking about?" Alexis asked, before coming with a theory, "Hold on, are you two talking about Draco?!" the two arguing Spirits looked at her, with Tutu slightly blushing, "He already knows about all of you?!"
"Well, not the Cyber Angels." Tutu muttered.
"When did he know?" Alexis asked, "And why didn't he tell me about you girls?!"
"To answer the questions." Cyber Prisma spoke up, "The first, when you were on that break at his house. The second, I believe he knew it wasn't up to him to tell you about us."
"Because we agreed to tell you at the end of the year!" Etoile snapped, "And there was no way in—"
"Choose your next word carefully, you amateur dancer!" Gahlot snarled out, from the bed.
"What did you call me?!" Etoile snapped at the injured Guard, "You…You—"
"I've heard every insult you human Duel Spirits can dish out!" Gahlot scoffed, before coughing, "G-give it your best shot!"
"YOU GIANT MUTANT SNAKE!" Etoile yelled out.
Gahlot snarled out as she jumped from the bed, groaned out as she leans to the wall from her injuries, "Don't think I can't kill you!" She snarls out, "You fucken whore! While you can only fight with your feet, I can use every piece of my body to still kill you while like this!"
"THE FUCK DID YOU JUST CALL ME, SERPENT?!"
"ALRIGHT, ENOUGH!" Alexis yelled out, in frustration getting the Cyber Dancers to jump back as Gahlot groaned out and shook as if her yelling was similar to the Roar of Dominance, "In case any of you have forgotten, this is the real world!" she explained, "I might be the only one to hear and see all of you, but to everyone else I'm just yelling to myself!"
On cue, there was a knock on her door before it was opened, as Mindy and jasmine came rushing in, "Alexis? What's with all the—" Mindy started but stopped as she noticed all six of the spirits currently in the room.
"Uh, Cyber Blader?" Tutu asked the tall red and purple earing leotard Fusion, "Can they see us?"
"Uuh, we were going to ask what was with the yelling, but now what's with all the Duel Spirits?" Jasmine asked.
"I'll take that as a confirmation that they can see us, Tutu." Blader whispered to the young Dancer.
"Hold on. Are those your Monsters?" Jasmine asked, then noticing Gahlot groaning and still leaning against the wall, "And is that one of Draco's- um- Dragon Guards?!"
"How can they see us?!" Etoile demanded.
"Let's start with the fact, they were involved in a Shadow Game the Young Lord won!" Gahlot hissed out.
"Speaking of!" Alexis slightly yelled, "Does he even know you are here?!"
(Meanwhile)
"Wait, wait, wait!" Draco exclaimed, after being informed by the others, "Gahlot and Vonzun had a physical fight at Dad's fortress, and he ordered Gahlot to bodyguard Alexis until her brother regains ALL of his memories?!"
"Yes, Sire." "That's pretty much the info in a nutshell." "That is correct." "Aye, Lad." Various of the Dragon Guards replied.
"Well, can't say her pride didn't take a big blow." Draco bluntly stated, "Oh great, I'm just becoming as blunt as Gahlot is!"
"I'm pretty sure the others have- UGH! Have told him what's going on!" Gahlot groaned out.
"Alright, you need to lay back down on the bed." Alexis told her, "And explain why you are being my bodyguard."
"Uh, is this a bad time?" all the heads turned to the source of the question. Looking at the balcony, stood Suraasven, looking puzzled at the situation, "If it is a bad time, I can come back a little later."
"Oh, great!" Gahlot muttered.
"I'm sorry?" the Wind Princess asked, "Already in a foul mood, since King Krono has ordered you to guard Alexis as punishment for your attitude towards not only to the others, but also to Prince Draco as well?"
"Draco's father, ordered her to be my bodyguard?!" Alexis asked.
"Hold on, could we be filled in on what's going on?" Jasmine asked.
"Fuck no!" Gahlot snarled out.
"To the bed, NOW!" Alexis ordered the Assassin. Gahlot glared at Alexis, hearing a ringing in her head as she ignores the order, before she growls in frustration and limps herself back to the bed, collapsing on it.
"Ok, why did she look like she was in pain when she wasn't going to the bed?"
"I guess that has to do with the order from the Dragon King." Suraasven replied, "And before you try and bite my head off, Gahlot- which will end with either you choking on your words or coughing up blood- I out-rank you in status as a Dragon Princess!"
Gahlot lets out a painful snarl before resting her head down, glaring at the green Dragoness, "Ok, so what is going on here?" Mindy asked.
"To put it quickly." Suraasven stated, "Any Dragon, from pure feral, pure anthro, or any high percentage mix breed, being force to serve, guard, or take orders from humans, is considered a fate worse than death."
"But why did it look like she was in pain when I ordered her to the bed?" Alexis asked, "And it didn't seem to be from her physical pain."
"I was going to ask what happened to her." Mindy stated.
"She got into a fight with Vonzun and lost." Suraasven replied.
"I didn't lose to him!" Gahlot roared out.
"Well, you didn't win either! Seeing how he was the only one to return to the Guild!"
"Only because he wasn't ordered to be in the Human World!"
"Back to the pain she was getting!" Alexis snapped, annoyed.
"Sorry." Suraasven replied, "Gahlot must have been ordered by the King to treat your orders as if they are coming from the Royal Bloodline."
"So, anything I ask of her?" Alexis asked.
"No, not ask." Suraasven corrected, "Command. If you tell her to do something, and she doesn't immediately obey the order, then what you told her would start to act like a Roar of Dominance to her."
"'Roar of Dominance'?" the three girls asked in unison.
"It's something the Royal Dragons can use to keep us Dragons from overstepping our rein or if we try to overthrow them, in a very untraditional way." Suraasven explained, "Queen Saffira and King Krono rarely use it, but when they do, we all tremble in fear as they keep the Dragon they target with it, under control."
"So, until Atticus gets his memories back, Gahlot, wasn't it?" Alexis asked, getting a nod from the Wind Princess, "She has to obey everything I say?"
"Unfortunately." Gahlot growls, "The sooner the better."
"Well, it could take weeks, Gahlot." Suraasven replied.
"We only have the month until the year ends." Alexis stated.
"Would that mean your brother will be sent home?" Tutu asked.
"Well, no student can be at the Academy when the year is over." Alexis explained, "But I don't think Nurse Fortaine would want to work over the holidays and when the Academy is closed."
"And no doubt, those hospitals will want to know exactly what happen to your brother." Prima stated, "And by telling them the truth, they will think you are insane, and if you lie, they will look for other ways to get the information from you."
"Which is why I want to help him." Alexis stated, "I bet it's one of the Shadow Riders."
"You're not going to try and get their attention, are you Alexis?" Jasmine asked.
"No, of course, not!" she rebutted, "I know how dangerous they are. It'll be foolish to try and get their attention."
"Besides with how they operate," Gymnast added, "they'll just find a way to lure one of you to a location for a duel."
"I think the only questions are who are they going to lure and where will the duel be?" Mindy asked.
"The only ones with the Keys are Draco, Alexis, Chazz, and Mana." Suraasven stated.
"And with Draco already defeating nearly half of them, in a row." Gahlot groaned out, "They won't be going after him."
"Hey, Alexis?" Mindy asked, "Mind if we put this on hold? We have class in about fifteen minutes."
"Right." Alexis muttered, "Lucky for us it is Professor Banner's class."
"Draco has that class today as well, right?" Jasmine asked.
"He does. And I know the four of us have Nurse Fortaine's gym class later."
"Which will give Gahlot plenty of time to recover." Suraasven stated, as she eyes the Assassin, "After all you can't really bodyguard Alexis in that condition."
"And she'll be with that cute boy for the time, along with the other Guards." Tutu announced.
"Is she talking about Syrus?" Jasmine asked.
"No." Prima sighed, "She's talking about the Dragon Prince."
Tutu began to blush deeply in embarrassment as Alexis unknowingly gave her a glare.
"We'll keep an eye on the injured Dragon Guard." Gymnast told Alexis, "Just to makes sure she doesn't do anything brash."
"I think that is a good idea." Alexis said, "Best to keep her under some watchful eyes, then have her follow me around."
"We'll get dress and meet you in the lobby of the dorm, Alexis." Jasmine said.
After about five minutes, Alexis got dressed and met up with her friends and began their walk to the Main Building.
"Hey, Alexis?" Mindy asked, getting her attention, "Jasmine and I noticed that when Cyber Tutu calls Draco cute, you were giving her a jealous glare."
Alexis stopped walking and looked at her friends, "What?" she asked.
"Yeah, it was very similar to when Draco glared at Harrington when he proposed that 'Fiancé Duel'." Jasmine stated, "Or when any boy flirted with you."
"Have I done that to anyone that looked at Draco that way?" Alexis asked.
"You didn't when that girl Blair called him her prince."
"I remember that." Mindy recalled.
Alexis tried to figure out why the thought of Cyber Tutu calling Draco cute, made her jealous, "Hey, I think I might have an idea." Jasmine spoke up, "Could it be that since Draco's parents are Duel Monsters, which will make him a Duel Monster."
"I've talked to him about that, Jasmine." Alexis interrupted her friend, "He told me, being born and raised here, he's pretty much a human."
"We get that." Mindy replied, "But I think what Jasmine is saying, is that since he is technically a 'Duel Monster' other Duel Monsters, like Cyber Tutu, might see Draco as a very attractive male."
"Exactly," Jasmine exclaimed, "just as Draco gets jealous or in this case protective when another boy flirts with you, you are the same when it might be with Duel Monsters with Draco."
"I have to agree." Mindy added, "I mean, if I was an actual Harpie Lady or hell that rumored new Harpie card, 'Harpie Princess', I would want to try to get in an arranged marriage with Draco."
Alexis looked at Mindy in both shock and slightly angry, "Again, Alexis?" Jasmine spoke up, clearly seeing the slight anger in the blonde's eyes, "She is just making a point, and you are acting like it is happening."
Alexis continued her walk to Prof. Banner's classroom as Jasmine and Mindy went to Crowler's, spotting Draco and the others, with about five minutes before taking their sits, she joined the circle of friends in the class, being Syrus, Mana, and Bastion.
"Hey guys." She called out.
"Hey Alexis." Mana replied with a smile, as Draco turned around.
"Glad you did have this class." He said, "I have something to ask."
"Is it about your Assassin being ordered by your father to be my bodyguard?" she asked.
Draco was left a little speechless, "How did you—"
"The Wind Princess came by and explained it to me."
"Suraasven?" Draco asked, "A two tone green scales?"
"Yeah, that's her." Alexis replied, "Although I'm not sure why though."
"It's her attitude." Draco replied, "We kept telling her that her attitude towards everyone will eventually bite her back. But there is an upside to this."
"There is?" Syrus asked.
"Yeah, I can try to teach you all to know how to pronounce the Dragon Guards names correctly." He replied, "They are in the Ancient Tongue, so it is hard for humans without practice."
"Can you explain with some Duel Spirits saying their names without problems?" Bastion asked.
"They only call out to Kinbok, Kendov, Sahlos, and Vonzun since they are pretty easy." Draco answered, "Let me give an example of a hard one to say." He then looked through is deck and pulled one of the Guards out, "This one is a good example."
The others looked at the card, seeing the pure black armor and spiral sword, holding a soul in his hand.
"Oh, that's umm." Syrus struggled, knowing who it was but couldn't say his name.
"Silziigaaf." Draco replied, "His name is three words of the Ancient Tongue, 'Sil', 'Zii', and 'Gaaf' which means, 'Soul', 'Spirit', and 'Ghost'."
"So slowly saying each part would help us pronounce his name better." Mana suggested, "Until we can say it in one go?"
"Exactly." Draco replied, "Speaking of Dragons, how is Des Volstgalph?" Draco asked, looking at Syrus, "Has he stirred any trouble as of late?"
"No." Syrus replied, "He has been behaving."
"Surprisingly." Bastion spoke up, "Considering, Draco has said that Dragon is of the Berserker Dragons."
"A sub-species of Berserker Dragon." Draco corrected, "They can enter a berserk-like rage, but it's not as devastating as Dinok and the other Berserkers."
The bell chimed, Alexis and Bastion went to their seats as Prof. Banner walked into the classroom, startling the class as they heard him coughing loudly as he walked to his desk.
"Ok class." Banner said, in between deep breaths, "Our lesson today—" he started before erupting in a loud coughing fit. Draco looking worried for not only his Dorm's Head but teacher as well, looked over to Syrus and Mana, both giving the same level of concern in their faces as his. He then glanced to the upper dorm sections and saw they were also concerned for Prof. Banner. Once Banner's coughing died down, Draco quickly raised his hand. "Y-yes Draco, my boy?"
"Professor, it's clear that your family illness is really taking a toll on your health today." Draco spoke up, "I think I speak for the rest of the class, when I say, you are not well enough to teach." Banner gave a weak smile and tried to reassure his student, "Mind if today instead of the lesson, we do group study for our finals?" Draco asked. The class began to mutter in agreement, as Banner looked around, seeing the whole class wanting to let him rest. Draco looked around and noticed some Obelisk students were agreeing with him,
"Well," Banner replied, taking a deep breath, "I can't argue when the whole class is concern with my health." He manages to get out before coughing again and was able to settle down, "Alright, study group it is. And if you have friends outside of your color, I'll allow you to study together."
The students began to quietly shuffle around to get with their friend circles, Bastion and Alexis made their way to Draco and the others.
"That was a brilliant idea you had." Bastion stated.
"Hey, Prof. Banner is one of my favorite teachers." Draco replied, "And it seems some Obelisks like him as well."
"It is true." Alexis added, "He is a teacher everyone likes. But I never seen him this bad with his 'family's illness'."
"I don't want to say it, and it is just a theory." Bastion spoke up, getting the group to look at him, "But could it be that this 'illness' you speak of, is finally running its course and Prof. banner is as they say, 'Running out of time'?"
They gave him a slight gloomed stare before glancing at their teacher, seeing how pale he was, breaking out in a sweat and his trouble of breathing.
"I don't want to think it either." Draco muttered, "But I think Bastion could be right."
"Yeah, it does seem that way." Syrus added.
"Let's not think about it for now." Mana told them, "For now, let's ask some of the final exam practice questions."
"Good idea, Mana." Alexis chimed.
The class went on with what seemed to be the group, and a few others were actually take the time to prepare themselves for the finals. Draco and Mana slightly chuckled as Syrus was asked a question and stumbled with the answer, but still got it correct. After about an hour the bell chimed, ending the class.
"Alright, everyone." Banner slightly coughed out, "Be sure to be ready for next week, the final exam will not be easy."
The classroom began to empty out, with the groups of friends muttering about the finals, "You guys go on ahead." Draco told them, "I need to ask the Professor something really quick."
"It better be quick." Alexis told him, "We have Nurse Fortaine's class next."
"I have Crowler's." Bastion added.
"Mana and myself have Sir Sartyr." Syrus said.
"At least we can relax with drawing." Mana stated.
"Which reminds me, Syrus." Draco said, "Are you still drawing Dark Magician Girl in different outfits?"
"NO!" Syrus yelled out, defensively and blushing deeply.
"Yes." Mana remarked with a teased grin.
"Maybe." Syrus muttered.
Draco shook his head and rolled his eyes, "Syrus, you are aware that she's self-conscious about her chest?"
Syrus' face flushed beat red from Draco's question, "The last time we had that class together was before the Battle City Exhibit." He continued, "When you were drawing her in that Sailor Scout, I noticed her messing with her chest."
"Sh-she was watching me?!" Syrus asked, clearly embarrassed. Draco gave a nod.
"Anyways, I'll bring it up later." He replied, "I really need to talk to the professor, before the next class starts."
"I'll meet you there." Alexis replied with a smile. Everyone left for the next class as Draco walked down to the teacher's desk as Banner continue to have difficulty breathing.
"Professor, if you are this sick from your illness, you should be resting." Draco said.
"I'm afraid it's not that simple anymore, my boy." Banner replied with a weak chuckle.
Draco's face grew more concern for his teacher, "What do you mean, Sir?"
"Well to put it as simple as I can. To what people would say, I'm running out of time."
Draco's face lost color hearing that dreadful phrase, "Wh-what?" he silently asked, "Professor Banner? Did you say y-you're dying?"
"Afraid so." He replied, "The trouble breathing and coughing fits are the symptoms of my illness taking about 80% of my raspatory system. I'll be lucky to last until this year ends."
Draco looked distraught hearing what his teacher was saying, "Don't feel so distraught for me, my boy." Banner told his student, "The Chancellor and I both talked this over. We knew this time was coming."
"So, he's already looking for a replacement for you?" Draco asked.
"Indeed." He replied with a slight cough, "Plus in all honesty, you along with Syrus, Mana, and Bastion had made this the best final year for me. I'm just glad I can see you go on to the next year, maybe as a Ra student."
Draco couldn't help but crack a small smile at his teacher's statement, before feeling a hand on his shoulder, "Now, you don't need to tell the others, but I know what you will do next." He told him, "I just wanted you to know you were the best Slifer I have had the pleasure of teaching."
"I had a good Dorm head and teacher." Draco replied. Both of them started to chuckle, but Banner's was short as he broke out in a cough.
"Now, off to your next class." He slightly gasped, "And don't worry too much on me, my boy. You have your finals to worry about."
Draco quickly left the classroom and heading to the gymnasium, placing his duel disk, blazer and other clothing as he switched to his gym-wear, spotting Alexis, with Jasmine and Mindy, he walked up to them, to which they were relieved he made it on time. After a brief rollcall, Fortaine let the class do their own sprots. Some went the tennis courts, baseball diamond, the football field (Reminder: Other countries call soccer, "football".) Draco and the three girls went to open field meant for any free throwing sport.
"Alright, you two." Kendov told Draco and Alexis, "This sparring practice, I want you two to try and get the other on the ground. Be it a pin or by using any skill you have to throw each other off-balance."
"Doesn't that seem unfair?" Alexis asked, "Draco has more experience than I do."
"It's to see how much of the Dragon Guard style you are capable of learning." Draco replied, as he did some stretches to loosen himself, "Kendov does have scrolls on the style and the stances, so he can give you what he seems to be what you are capable of and practice until the next school year starts up."
"Oh, that makes sense." Mindy chimed, "In case your fighter here, can't teach her, Alexis will have a way to continue without him."
"That is correct." Kendov replied, "We have a total of eight scrolls of the style. The first four are the basic stances as well as techniques to use with them and allowing you shift from the two in one fluid motion."
"And what are the other four?" Alexis asked.
"They are the advance stances and techniques to use with them."
"Kendov just wants to see how far or how long you can last in this training session." Draco explained, "To see if you how many of the scrolls Kendov will give you."
"Alright you two, let's start with a five-minute sparring." Kendov told them, "Take a stance."
Both of them took a stance as they stared each other down, "Again try to use both the offensive and defensive stances to throw the other on the ground." He explained, "First to three or close to three in five minutes will give my decision. Hajime!"
Draco's stance changed to the basic offensive as he charged forward, throwing a few quick jabs, full-on arm swings and some kicks. Alexis did her best to block or redirect, trying to read his movements, until she blocked one of his kicks and went in and kicked at his leg still holding him, knocking him off his feet as Jasmine and Mindy cheered at Alexis, until Alexis gasped lightly as Draco placed an arm behind himself, using the momentum of his fall, he quickly spun himself, leg-sweeping Alexis as she felt her feet fly from under her as she slammed to the ground with a "thud" as she groans out.
"Point to Draco." Kendov spoke up, "Time in match, 30 seconds."
"Wait, you said if they got knocked off their feet the other would be scored." Mindy told the purple dragon, "Alexis did that."
"She did, however Draco didn't fall to the ground as Alexis did, he landed on his arm and with the Dragon Guard Style: Motion Control, he used the momentum of his fall to be redirected to spin himself and do a leg-swipe on Alexis."
"He did." Alexis moaned out as she stood up and lightly brushed the dirt off of her, "He didn't land on the ground like I did."
"Still that kick to my leg did catch me off guard." Draco commented.
"I did see that, but that move you made to sweep me off my feet, I didn't see that coming."
"This style, if you wish to be able to use it effectively, has you thinking both on and off your feet, Alexis." Kendov told her, "If you allow your senses to help you, you can see the movement of your opponent before they make physical contact."
"Well, that seems a little unfair since you and Draco are dragons and have higher senses." Alexis slightly muttered.
"She does have a point on that Kendov." Draco told him, "With myself being a dragon, my senses are higher than hers."
"That is true." Kendov replied, "But we can't have her rely on heighten senses in the future."
All three of the girls heads slightly perked at that statement, "What does he mean?" Jasmine asked.
Draco slightly glared at Kendov as he had the face of realizing his mistake, "Thanks, Kendov." He slightly growled.
"My apologies, Young Lord."
Draco then looks at all three of them, "Ok, I'll try to keep this brief, since it was supposed to be between myself and Alexis."
Alexis' face slightly reddens as she knew what he was talking about, "To put this way, there is a reason Dragon Slayers were and still being hired by human nobles in the Spirit World." Draco started, "Dragon's Blood is used in potion crafting for Elixirs of Immortality. Drinking a small dosage will allow the human to become part dragon for a few hours, giving them strength, speed, and reflexes similar to dragons."
"Is that the reason the card Buster Blader exist?" Mindy asked.
"Yes and no." Kendov replied, "But allow him to finish."
"But some of them were truly greedy and instead of drinking the Elixir in small dosage," Draco continued, "they just gulped it down, and permanently became part dragon."
"So, that's how the random percentage of human/dragon breeds came about?" Jasmine asked.
"That could be one reason." Alexis stated.
"It is." Draco replied, "But the other is when one witch asked a dragon for its blood to make some Elixirs and after some time, they became mates. And the Dragon shared its blood with the witch, which made her part dragon far longer than the Elixir."
"He shared his blood?" Jasmine asked.
"Yeah." Draco replied, "That's how dragons can breed with other species, by turning their non-dragon mate into a dragon for a period of time."
"But why did Alexis blush when we were curious?" Mindy asked.
"Because it involves marking." Draco replied sheepishly, "When dragons take a mate, they leave a mark on each other."
"What kind of a mark?" they asked.
"Well." Draco slightly brightened, before Kendov cleared his throat.
"To put it simple," he spoke up, "the male dragon bites the shoulder of his chosen female, and the female well end up clawing the male's back. The wounds will heal within twenty-four hours, but they end up glowing with the fire of the dragon that marked them."
"Ok, so Draco will bite Alexis on the shoulder and the mark will be glowing white and black?" Mindy asked.
"Only those of our kin will see it." Kendov replied.
"But Alexis is a human." Jasmien pointed out, "How will she mark Draco?"
Both of them began to slightly groan in embarrassment and glow brighter, "Let me put it as quickly as I can and have you two piece it together." Kendov told them, "They will mark each other during a full moon that causing the Young Lord, to be more feral."
Both of the girls looked at each other, before they also started to turn red after remembering one night.
(Flashback)
About a month ago, one night Jasmine and Mindy walked along the lake side, talking to each other, about the upcoming finals, the Shadow Riders, but the biggest thing on their mind,
"I still can't believe Draco is a Prince." Jasmine said, "And of Duel Monsters."
"I think those monsters of his the 'Dragon Guards' said it was just dragons he was prince of." Mindy stated.
"But still," Jasmine continued, "I'm a little jealous of Alexis. I remember being little and saying I'll marry a prince, and Alexis could be doing that."
"Yeah, I know what you mean." Mindy said, "When I saw him coming up to us on the lake to duel Alexis, he knew he was breaking rules but was willing to get himself expelled to allow Syrus to stay. I was falling for his loyalty to his friends."
"That is a good characteristic to look for." Jasmine giggled before looking up to the night sky, "You have to admit, that full moon is pretty."
Mindy looked up and smiled, "Yeah, it is pretty—Huh?" She stopped walking as she noticed by a tree; she could make what seemed to be a wing flickering, but it was very faint, "What is that by the tree?"
Jasmine looked over, "I don't see any—Wait, is that a wing?"
They both slowly walked up to the tree, starting to hear some muffled moans, as the peer over to see a green dragon leaning against the tree, groping one of her breasts as she slowly fingered herself as she bites her lower lip to muffle her moan. Both of the girls slightly gasp, getting the dragon's attention, and causing her to blush deeply and slightly scream out.
"Oh, gods this did not just happen!" the dragon yelled out as she struggled to fix her chest piece and sash.
"Wait, aren't you one of Draco's Monsters?" Jasmine asked, "Umm what was your name?"
"I know it was something like 'Wind Princess'?" Mindy asked.
"It's not 'Wind Princess'! It's 'Wind DRAGON Princess'!" the green dragon yelled out, before panting heavily, not from out of breath but from something else.
"Um, are you feeling alright?" Mindy asked, "You sound sick or something else?"
The dragoness started to blush as her breathing got more ragged or labor, "W-well, it-it is j-just you two." She panted out, "The r-reason I'm like this it-it's because of-of th-that." She then pointed skyward. Mindy and Jasmine looked up, confused.
"Uh, what are we supposed to be looking at?" they asked.
"It's the moon!" She yelled at them, "This full moon is affecting me."
"Affecting you?" Mindy asked, "How?"
"Ok, try to understand," she replied, "during certain full moons, some dragonesses or female dragons go into a heat cycle, and some males will go more feral with each passing night that affects them."
"By feral, what do you mean?" Jasmin asked.
"I mean- ok take Draco for this example." Suraasven said, "Those 'sick days' were actually the full moons that affected him. During that time, he becomes territorial and will attack any males if he sees them in the bedroom, which is why Syrus sleeps with that bonehead, Chazz."
"If he is like that with a boy, what happens with a girl?" Mindy asked.
The Wind Dragoness' cheeks flushed, embarrassed about the topic, "He'll try to mate with her." She replied quickly.
Both of the girls looked at the heavily blushed green dragoness, "I don't think I heard you correctly." Mindy stated, "Did you say he'll try to mate with the girl?"
"Draco will try and rape—"
"NO, HE WOULDN'T! HIS INSTINCTS ARE TELLING HIM TO BREED!"
(End of flashback.)
"Judging by your flushed faces." Draco stated, "You know what Kendov means?"
"Y-yeah." They both stammered.
"Trust me girls," Alexis told them, "this is a topic Draco, and I try to avoid talking about even in private."
"Because we are not ready to take that step of our relationship." Draco added.
"Speaking of, Young Lord," Kendov spoke up, "there is important matters I do have to tell you."
All four of them looked over to him, Draco raising a brow in confusion, "The High Nobels are sending your father some audience requests."
"Ok?" Draco asked, "It's to meet them and their daughters as potential mates." Kendov continued.
"WHAT?!" Draco and Alexis gasped out.
"Ms. Rhodes? Mr. Kaitos?" Nurse Fortaine called out, "Is something wrong?"
"N-no, sorry about the sudden yell!" Draco replied, forgetting they were in class, "Why hasn't Dad say anything to me about this?!" he asked Kendov in a hushed voice.
"Well, he knows you have classes and the finals coming up." He replied, "Also, with the Sacred Beasts still being a threat, His Lordship has sent replies to the requests until they have been dealt with."
"So, even after this is over, Draco will still have to meet this girls?" Alexis asked with a hint of venom in her voice.
"Only because word got around recently of the Young Lord finally coming of age." Kendov replied.
"Wait, wait." Jasmine spoke up, "Isn't 'coming of age' more like after you turn sixteen?"
"For Dragons, it's when our 'Dragon Fire' is ignited, and we reach the human age of sixteen." He replied, "The young Lord was a—"
"Don't say it!" Draco whined slightly, as Kendov smirked.
"Late bloomer." Draco hung his head in shame as the three girls lightly giggled, "His 'Dragon Fire' ignited when he saved you, Alexis."
"And somehow someone in the Duel Spirit World spread word?" she asked.
"Indeed." Kendov replied, "So, the nobles and high nobles are sending requests to introduce their daughters as future mates."
"If we deal with the Sacred Beasts," Draco said, "how long until they stop?"
"End of the year." Kendov replied, "Some of the servants of your parents found out that the day they were sealed is drawing close."
"But wouldn't that be every year?" Mindy asked.
"Think of it like a time seal." Draco replied, "They get sealed away and after a period of time, the seal will weaken for them to be released."
"But, if we can beat all of the Shadow Riders, the seal will be reenforced?" Alexis asked.
"Yes, and they will never be released until the time is spent again."
"Wait back up!" Draco snapped, "You said I have until the end of the year, before I have to meet these noblemen daughters?!"
"In other words, you're saying Draco, and I have the end of the year to—"
"In a way, yes." Kendov replied, "Let me put it simply—"
"No, you will not!" Draco snapped, "Let's just get back to training."
The class went on, as Fortaine watched the students and every now and then glanced at Draco and Alexis as they sparred, after a few minutes the bell chimed, ending the class.
"Ok, class! Put all of the equipment away if you used it!" Fortaine yelled out, "Be sure to hit the showers as well!" The stadium started to empty out, Draco and Alexis panted out.
"W-well, K-Kendov?" Draco asked, panting. The fighter looked over the blonde as she panted out with her legs shaking and covered with dirt from being pinned a good number of times.
"I think she will be good for the four Basic Scrolls." He replied, "And during the winter, I will be popping in to check on your progress."
"Y-you'll have to know where I live first." Alexis panted out and chuckled lightly.
"Have you forgotten about Vonzun?" Kendov asked with a smirk, "He can follow you and you wouldn't notice."
"Geez, there is so many of you." She slightly groaned, "Alright, Jasmine, Mindy, let's hit the showers."
"You got it, Lex." Jasmine happily chimed.
The three of them left Draco and Kendov alone, "Hey, Kendov?" Draco asked, "If Alexis and I do become mates, will I have to attend these request those nobles sent Dad?"
"I'm afraid I cannot say." He replied, "That will be between you and His Highness."
Draco slightly groaned as he began to walk to the boys locker room, "I may have to talk to Dad." He thought, "I really hope I don't have to meet up with anyone. Plus, why are they requesting now?!"
Meanwhile, "I'll ask one last time. Why the hell are you requesting an audience with myself and my son?!" Krono demanded.
"Well, he is of age." The nobleman replied with a cocky smirk, "And there is the rumor he doesn't have a mate, so my daughter will be his—"
"You don't get to make that decision!" Krono snarled out, "Not to mention what good would this be? When we are readying our combine forces for the Sacred Beasts, what good comes from your request if we don't stop them?"
"It's your payment." The nobleman answered, "You may be the Dragon King, but you are first and forth more the Dragon Lord of Darkness, we are of the same stature."
Krono bared his fangs and nearly cracking the handrails as he grips it but calmed down as he breathes deeply and just glared, "I am a Dragon Lord by birth." He said, "You are one through murder. How exactly does that put you on the same stature as me?"
"Excuse me?! How dare you—"
"Your family has been human nobility for two-thousand years and have only been Dragon nobility for nine hundred, because your forefather decided he wanted more power, so he took it from others."
The nobleman stood in disbelief as Krono stood up from his throne and began to approach him, "Now you have three options. The first;" Krono snapped his fingers as ten Red-Eyes Dragon species suddenly appeared in the room, "You can be dragged out of my fortress by one of the dragons. The second; you can be escorted by one of my soldiers. Or the third option; you leave on your own. Pick one."
The nobleman began to growl as the ten large dragons snarled back, "This isn't over between us, 'Your Highness'." He hissed, "My family will have that throne!"
Krono held the parchment of the nobleman of the audience request, before burning it, "I'm afraid it is." He replied, "Don't you show your face in my fortress or to any of my family again, Human Scum. Make sure he's off the mountain."
Before the nobleman could protest or retaliate, some of the dragons began to snarl threatening getting him to move out of the throne room. Krono sighed out as he then slumps back into his throne.
"Excuse me, Sire?" a timid voice asked, Krono looked over seeing a young maiden approaching the throne with a platter of food.
"I take it you heard me calling him 'Human Scum'?" Krono asked, getting a nod from the girl, "Just to be clear, for us Dragons- be it pure born or any of the humanoid that became dragons from birth or by mating with another dragon- we call the humanoid dragons that became what they are from drinking the blood after murdering others 'Human Scum' because they are."
"Because they killed others for power and positions?" she asked.
"Exactly." Krono replied, "Just know when I am calling someone 'Human Scum' I'm not referring to you."
Back at the Academy, Draco finished washing off and met up with the others before heading the café area and caught up with the rest of the group, "So, what's on the menu today?" Draco asked.
"It's the Sandwich Roulet." Syrus replied.
"Oh, great." Draco slightly groaned.
"You're still pissed off you didn't get the Golden Egg Sandwich?" Chazz asked.
"No, I think it's more towards getting that spoiled Porkchop Sandwich." Alexis stated.
"And you don't have to worry about that." Everyone turned their heads as Ms. Dorthy and Sadi wheeled two large containers out, "After last week, with a good number of students heading to the Nurse's Office, the Chancellor called the company that supplies us with the Sandwich Roulet and told them not to give us any expired or spoiled food."
"Otherwise, they will be getting a call from Mr. Kaiba." Sadi chimed, "So feel free to help yourself and good luck finding the Egg Sandwich."
They walked up to the containers and began to look at the silver tin or plastic wrapped sandwiches, "Man I'm hoping for a grilled chicken." Syrus stated.
"You've been looking for that one for few weeks now." Mana teased.
"Well, I can't help it! I've been craving one and I haven't—"
"Here you go, Little Buddy." Draco said as he handed an unopen sandwich to him, confusing both Syrus and Mana.
"Umm, wh-what?"
"You said you wanted a Grill Chicken Sandwich." Draco replied, "That's a Grill Chicken."
Some Blue Students began to laugh in a mocking tone, "You can't be serious you Slacker!" one of them laughed out.
"It's not even open, how can you possibly know what it is?!"
Syrus quickly opened the wrapping and took a bite from the sandwich, before his eyes widen and began to sparkle, "This is Grilled Chicken." He said with a mouth full.
"HUH?!" the Blue Students gasped out.
"I have a very high sense of smell." Draco told them, "I can practically smell the meat without opening them up."
"Y-you just got lucky!" one of them yelled, "There is no way you can tell!"
Draco just picked another sandwich up and gave it a quick sniff, before his brow slightly rose, "Hmm? I'm not familiar to this scent."
"What can you smell from it?" Mana asked.
Draco gave it another sniff, "Mmm, seems to be some kind of meat." He replied, "Covered in a lot of spices."
Mana quickly grabbed the sandwich, confusing Draco before she opened it and took a bite, causing her eyes to do exactly as Syrus' did, "It's Spiced Goat Kebab!" she exclaimed, "And it taste just like how my Aunt makes it!"
The Obelisks were shocked as Draco picked up a few more of the wrapped sandwiches, "Hmm, Porkchop. Bacon, which means it could be BLT. Fried Chicken."
"If you happen to find a Fried Fish Fillet, let me know." Bastion stated, "I have been—"
"Here you go." Draco said handing him the sandwich, before finally picking up one more sandwich, "Ah, finally!" he then opened the wrap and took bite of the sandwich he was looking for, "Mmm, Hamburger Steak. I've been craving this."
"I guess having a sharp nose has its upsides." Alexis giggled.
"Well, the upside is I can smell scents better, which is how I found the sandwiches we wanted." Draco replied, "But the downside of it is that strong odors are just as bad. By the way Alexis, that sandwich you have in your hand is the Golden Egg Sandwich."
Alexis looked at her hand and unwrapped it seeing the golden fried egg, "Hey, you're right. But how did you know?"
"Eggs give off a scent when salt and pepper is used with it." Draco replies.
"Wow." Sadi spoke up, "You were able to tell all of the sandwiches. I'm surprised you didn't try to get the Golden Egg Sandwich."
"I wasn't craving it." He replied. They left the area with the containers and sat down, Draco noticed Chazz was slightly grumbling as he ate his sandwich, "You didn't get the sandwich you wanted, Chazz?"
"Clearly I didn't." he replied, "I was looking for Ham Sandwich, but got a Roast Chicken."
"I could have smelled one out for you."
"Naw, getting lucky in getting what you want is like drawing the card you need in a duel."
"Yeah, I guess it is." Draco replied, "But when it comes to what you are craving in your stomach, it's best to get some help."
Chazz looked at Draco before groaning softly, "Agh! Why is it we can't beat you in dules or arguments!?"
"He realizes on luck in duels and cold hard facts and statements for his argument." Bastion pointed out, "I am still trying to work on a deck formula to defeat his deck, but somehow the simulations still have Draco as the victor."
"Do you ever think that sometimes the simulator for our decks has it, so it'll be hard to beat each other decks?" Syrus asked.
"I thought that myself." Draco replied, "I ran a duel against Zane's deck on the hardest difficulty, but I still came out on top."
"Didn't you say there was one you were close to losing?" Jasmine asked.
"Yeah, against a Power Bonded summoned Cyber End Dragon." Draco replied, "I didn't know that Zane had a Spell to nullify the damage."
"Hold on, Cyber End Dragon can cause damage while attacking Defense Position cards," Syrus spoke up, "How did you not take damage?"
"Dragon Shield." He replied, "None of the players take damage and the equip Dragon can't be destroyed."
"Oh, yeah." Syrus muttered.
"By the way, Alexis?"
"Yes, Draco?"
"At your home, do you have anything like a workout room or gym?" Draco asked.
Alexis takes a moment to think about his question, "Yeah, I do. Why?"
"Well, since you have the 'OK' from Kendov to have four of the eight technique scrolls of the Dragon Guard Style," Draco explained, "you'll need a lot of room to move around and if you have any of the dojos training dummies. You know the ones that spin when hit and the middle and lower part has extending limps?"
"Like arms and legs in different height positions?" Alexis asked.
"Yeah, exactly." He replied.
"I do have an in-built gym, but I don't have any of those in it." She stated, "But a quick call to home and they could get them up before the year ends."
"And they could be there before you get home?" Draco asked.
"If I call them after classes today."
"Is this to keep her going with that Martials Arts of yours?" Chazz asked.
"It's also for her to try out what the scrolls can teach her." Draco replied, before the bell chimed starting the next class. The rest of the school day went on as usual, as the bell rang ending the last class, Draco waiting outside of Prof. Momiji, spotting Alexis on a cellphone.
"Hmm, must have had it this whole time." Draco thought, "Guess it's to ask for any new things or improvements."
"Yes, you heard me right, Mother." Alexis said, "Why do I need Martial Art Training Dummies? I told you already, my boyfriend taught—Yes, I have boyfriend now! NO, WE HAVEN'T—I'm not have this talk at school, Mother! Look I just need those training dummies because he taught me some of his martial arts and is loaning me four scrolls of his style to learn over the break! I'm not having THAT TALK over the phone!" Alexis gave a frustrated sigh before hanging up.
"Trouble at home?" Draco asked.
"Kind of." She replied, "I called home, to tell my parents what I needed for the workout room, questioned me—"
"And told her you were in a relationship and now is demanding answers to VERY private questions?"
"Exactly!" she exclaimed, "Has your—" she was about to ask the question, "Oh, right. Never mind."
"Forgot about the break?" Draco chuckled.
"Yeah, your mom was on us about the same thing."
"Anyways, I take it you are going to check on Atticus now?"
"I'm that obvious, aren't I?" she asked, getting Draco to chuckle, "Well, he should have recovered more memories by now." He replied, "I'll tag along."
They both head to the Nurse's Office, carefully knocking on the door, "Come in." the nurse said. They walked in, giving the nurse a pair of warm smiles.
"Figured you two would come for a visit." Fortaine stated, "And it's good too, we have a problem."
Draco and Alexis looked at each other than at Atticus, who is sleeping as Vahraniik looks exhausted, "Vahraniik? What's going on?" Draco asked.
The Healer leans back and sighs out, "There is something blocking his mind." She replied, "Every time I get something for him, I feel a powerful dark force push me out and take back what I unlocked."
"Wait, you think it's the Shadow Rider?" Alexis asked.
"For something like this?" Vahraniik asked, "They have to have an ancient item."
"We need to keep a closer eye on him." Draco said, "I'll see if I can get any of the Dragon Guards to keep an eye on him."
"Why would we need that?" Alexis asked.
"Alexis, look at it this way." Vahraniik spoke up, "If a Shadow Rider is behind what's going on with Atticus' mind, they can end up controlling his actions."
"You mean, make him attack the others?" Fortaine asked.
"Worse." Draco replied, "Have him walk off and us following him to a trap. It's likely whoever is doing this, will do that."
Nurse Fortaine looked at Draco with a very concern expression, "Uh, you really think—"
"Nurse Fortaine, the Shadow Rider known as Night Shroud, who used Atticus as a vessel to our world," Draco explained, "he threated Jasmine and Mindy. They would have been lost in the Shadow Realm if I lost the duel."
"It is true." Alexis added, "I was there."
"Young Lord?" Vahraniik spoke up, getting Draco to look at her, "The Guards are stretched thin as we are now. We are looking for signs of the reminding Shadow Riders, taking care of evacuations incase the Beasts are released, and even taking care of some missions."
"I understand that." Draco replied, "But we really need more eyes, just in case."
Vahraniik sighs out, "Alright, I'll check back at the Guild to see if anyone is free to help watch him."
"That sigh you did, sounded more like an irritated sigh." Alexis pointed.
"It was." Draco replied, "Because she knows I'm right and can't find a way to make my point wrong."
"Which is something he does often." Vahraniik added, "Anyways, I'm going to rest up for a bit, and head back."
"And you two should enjoy the rest of your afternoon." Fortaine stated. Draco and Alexis left the office and started to head out of the main building. Draco looked over at Alexis and noticed her uneasiness, he reached towards her and gently held her hand, getting a small, startled gasp.
"I can tell you are extremely worried about your brother." He told her.
"Yeah, I am." She replied, "I can't hide anything from you, can I?"
"Not really. I told that to Syrus on day one." Draco chuckled lightly, before feeling Alexis leaning into his arm and shoulder.
"With how helpful you have been, I don't think I deserve you."
"I'll be honest, I thought you were out of my league."
"Really? The 'Prince of Dragons' thought I was out of his league?"
"Sixteen years being raised as a human, Alexis." Draco remarked, "Yes, my parents did tell me when I was ten, but I was raised to be respectful."
Alexis smiled and gently squeezed their hands, "That's the truth." She replied, "I still remember that one night."
Draco looked over slightly concerned, "Do you mean, that night with Titan?" he asked.
"Y-yeah." She replied, "I still get nightmares from that night. But still, you using your own blazer to cover me up, such a gentleman."
"Well, I wasn't going to leave you with nothing to cover yourself." Draco chuckled, "Otherwise, I think everyone would have gotten the wrong idea."
"Well, Mindy and Jasmine told me, that when you called Nurse Fortaine, you did tell her what happened to my blazer."
"I still didn't want to be accused as a creep." They both walked out of the main building and walked down the forest path, "By the way, I do need to talk to Gahlot."
"So, head to the tree by the lake?" Alexis asked.
"Yeah, I can call her from there." He replied, "I have to check something with her."
Alexis looked at Draco, before giving a small smile, "Is it about her being ordered by your father to be my bodyguard?"
Draco looked over at her as she smirked at him, "So, what the others told me was true." He sighs out, "She and Vonzun had a fight in my Dad's fortress and even broke a few things."
"Oh, so that's why she was told to by my bodyguard?" Alexis asked.
"From what I got from the others it was more towards the attitude she gave me when I told her to tell you about your brother." Draco replied.
"Yeah, she was really rude about tell me as well."
They walked up to Obelisk girls dorm and came across the tree that stood by the lake, "Alright, I call Gahlot from here." Draco said, he looks at what he believed to be Alexis' dorm window, "Gahlot, I know you can hear me. Get out here!"
They both waited for a few seconds, Draco let out a soft irritated growl to Alexis, it seemed he was ready to shout for her again, but placed her hand on his shoulders, stopping him.
"Hey, Draco?" she asked, "You know she's injured from a fight with one of the other Guards, and your father. It might take her some time to respond."
"I know, but it's also she just so stubborn." Draco replied, "And you have seen the others I just call them once, and they appear within three seconds, but Gahlot- without injuries- takes ten seconds."
"Th-that's because you call us for dumb shit!" They both looked over at the tree, seeing Gahlot leaning into it as she bared her fangs, holding her stomach, while hissing air through her fangs.
"Damn, I heard Vonzun did a number on you, but I didn't think my Dad inflected that amount on you." Draco stated.
"Just what the fuck did you want?!" she hissed back, "I am not in any mood to j-just stand here!"
"I wanted confirmation if what the others saying is true." Draco replied, "And to fill you in what's going on with Atticus- and don't you dare ask me who he is!"
"I already know who that is!" Gahlot snarled back, before coughing out and coughing up blood.
"Ok Draco, yes she was told to be my bodyguard until Atticus regains his mind," Alexis stated, "and she has been told that my orders are to be treated as if your father is giving them out." She then turns to Gahlot, "Now that is settled, get back to the bed and rest up."
Gahlot just quietly snarled before vanishing from them, Alexis sighed out and slightly rubbed her eyes, "God, that was stressful." She groaned, "I do hope I don't have to do that for long."
Draco looked at her, slightly groaning which she caught, "What?"
"Alexis, if we, make it official, and we get older. We'll have royal duties more stressful than ordering the Dragon Guards around." He replied.
Alexis groaned out, throwing her head back, "Ugh! Is that going to be our daily lives?"
"Not until after the coronation." Draco replied, "Even if we do stop the Sacred Beasts, it's not until my parents believe I am ready I won't be the Dragon King until we do a coronation."
"So, they pass the title to you?" Alexis asked.
"Yeah, something like that." He replied, "And it'll be the same for you. When I do fully take you as a mate," his face slightly brightens on the thought, "you'll have a coronation yourself to be named the Dragon Queen."
"And that won't happen until your parents believe I'm ready?"
"Yeah, and if that's the case, there will be huge lessons for you."
"Such as?"
"Learning every ruling Dragon Lords of the Elements, Dragon Nobles, being taught how to understand the Ancestral Tongue, actually SPEAKING the Ancestral Tongue."
Alexis looked slightly nervous of the list Draco was making, "Uhh, h-how long does take to understand and speak this Ancestral Tongue?" she asked.
"That depends on you." Draco replied, "It's different for everyone who isn't a Dragon. I mean, I can naturally understand it and by instincts speak it, if I get too angry."
"I think you did that, before dueling Camula." Alexis pointed out, "With, uh, the Soul Guard."
"Dragon Guard of Souls." Draco corrected, "Also called the 'Gatekeeper' or 'Guardian of the Well'."
"Right, I think you said his name was 'Seezealgaff' correct?"
Draco chuckled softly and sheepishly, "Heh-heh close, Alexis. It's 'Sil-Zii-Gaaf' S-I-L-Z-I-I-G-A-A-F."
"Ok, that is going to take some time to learn to speak." Alexis admitted. They both chuckled lightly. After a few minutes, back at the Nurse's office, Nurse Fortaine looks over Atticus as he breaths heavily, trying to sleep. She slightly looks to the next bed and noticed the paled armored with golden trims Dragon, sitting on the empty bed as it seemed to sigh out, glancing to the right leaning against the door was another pale armored with silver trims Dragon raising its head to look at the other.
"I'm bored!" Rith signed.
Zahkriirith rolled his eyes, "Guard duties aren't always exciting, Brother." He signed back, "You know, we had nights with guard duties when nothing happens."
"But why us?" Rith asked, "Why did he ask us to watch over this kid?"
"This 'kid' happens to be the sibling of his chosen mate, Rith. And Vahraniik had told us, she believes his mind is still under the Shadow Influence."
"Could you two not talk about one of my students in such a matter?" Fortaine asked, getting both of them to look at her.
After a slight pause from the nurse's request, "Wait, you can read Sign Language?" Rith asked.
"Of course, I can read Sign Language." She replied, "As a nurse at a school, I need to be ready for every students needs and disabilities, such as deafness, blindness, and any other kind of disabilities."
Zahkriirith shook his head, as if sighing out, "I do apologize for our sibling bickering." He signed, "We tend to get bored very easily."
"Is that common for dragons?" Fortaine asked.
"No." Rith signed out, "But most of the time, we are on guard duty."
"We are members of the Guild." Zahkriirith added, "We are either training, doing some guild request, or sleeping."
"So, being on guard duty is that boring for you two?"
The Slasher Brothers looked at each other, then back at her, "Pretty much." They both signed.
Fortaine looked over at the clock on the wall, "Alright, I'm going to call it a night and try to get some sleep." She placed the clipboard she was keeping notes on her desk, and proceed to stand up, until seeing one of the dragons standing in front of her, scaring her back into the chair, "You couldn't make a noise to let me know you were there?!"
Zahkriirith looking confused, "Um, ma'am?" he signed, "My brother and I are mute. Our sighs and groans are even inaudible."
"Besides, we were trying to get your attention." Rith added, "We'll stay here and warn the Young Lord—"
"No!" Fortaine slightly snapped, interrupting him, "You'll get me, if anything happens. Draco and Alexis should worry about their finals and not about Atticus." She then leaves the room, leaving the two transparent dragons in the office, before they looked at each other.
"Who were we ordered to report to if anything happened?" Rith asked.
"The Young Lord and his mate." Zahkriirith replied.
Later that night, over in the Slifer Dorm, Syrus just left the shower, hanging his towel over his shoulder, while drying the left side of his head.
"Hey Draco! The shower is free!" he said as he opened the bathroom door, turning to the buck beds and stopped with a slight yelp and stumbled back. Draco was between the desk and beds standing on one hand, holding himself in a single hand, handstand, having his right hand behind his back, too focused on his balance he didn't hear Syrus leave the bathroom or called out to him. His left arm started to shake from the weight, Draco then angled himself to fall over and get back on his feet.
"Ugh, only manage to hold it for twenty minutes that time." He muttered, before turning around, "Oh, Syrus. You got done with your shower?"
"I-I just got out." He stuttered, "But Draco, what were you doing?"
"Just a standard routine for the martial arts." Draco replied, "Since I'm right-hand dominant, that makes me predicable to throw a punch with my right hand."
Syrus gave a stare, not clearly understanding what Draco was saying, "In other words, little buddy," Draco continued, "I'm strengthening my left arm, so I can throw a punch with equal force regardless on which hand it is."
"Oh!" Syrus exclaimed, "It's like kicking a football with your best leg, right?"
"Exactly in that way." Draco replied, "Like when you kick with your left foot, your shots are more accurate, while your right tends to be—"
"Not where I want it to go?"
"Yeah, so you practice until you can be more accurate with your right foot."
"I didn't think anyone noticed that about me." Syrus chuckled, "I mean, everyone knows I write or paint with my right hand, but when it comes to sports, I lead with my left foot."
"It's similar to me." Draco replied, "I'm sure you have noticed, playing baseball I use my right hand. But when we were able to do some archery, I fire the bow with my left hand."
"I think I have seen you do that." Syrus stated, "But why did Nurse Fortaine stop the archery?"
"I think it was because many students, mostly Blue, weren't following safety rules, like not to fire an arrow when people were down on the shooting range. I mean I know the arrows were round ball tips, so they didn't pierce anyone, but they still hurt."
"Oh yeah." Syrus recalled, "I was about to try it, but then was told to put it away because some Obelisks had to think they were above the rules."
After a few hours, the Slasher Brothers still sat around and watched over Atticus with Rith every now and then signing his boredom to his brother, to which, Zahkriirith ignored, before suddenly freezing at a sudden change in the room, and quickly began to scan the room, stopping at Rith.
"Rith?! Do you feel that?!" he signed out.
"You mean the sudden change in atmosphere that feels like someone tied to the Shadow Realm suddenly appeared in the room?" he signed back, "Yeah, I felt that!"
They both scanned the room, until they heard the door slam shut, getting them to look at the door, then back at the bed, Atticus was gone. They looked at each other and quickly fazed through the door to the hallway. They saw Atticus walking like in a trance and next to him was a large human-like creature, having large spikes protruding from its shoulders, what also seemed like horns protruding from its head as it looks back with glowing yellow eyes, glaring at them.
"Deal with them." The creature snarled out, as two shadows began to expand on the floor and raise up. Then two monsters slowly emerge from the shadows, shocking the two brothers. The monsters that emerged were Archfiends, more specifically Terrorking Archfiend and Archfiend Soldier, however, they both looked more like reanimated corpses. Bones showing from various spots on their bodies, intestines spilling out, flesh falling and rotting off, and both of them letting out gruesome snarls as they drag their swords across the ground before charging towards the Slasher Brothers. The zombified Terrorking swung its large sword, Zahkriirith jumped back as the large weapon slammed into the floor, and actually damaging it. The Archfiend Soldier swung its blade, to which Rith quickly unsheathed one of his swords, blocking the wild swing. After pushing the blade back, he unsheathed his second blade and went on the offense, swinging both swords, parrying or narrowly avoiding the wild swings, before having enough of the undead Archfiend and drove one of his own swords into the decomposing skull of the Soldier. The arms went limb, but still held the blade as Rith let out a silent sigh in relief, before the Archfiend lets out a gargled snarl and began to swing the blade again. Rith had to release the sword to jump back. Using his second sword, Rith bared his fangs, pushing the Archfiend's arm back and tried to cut the undead creature in half, slamming his blade into its exposed intestines, only for it too to get stuck. Having enough, as it tries to swing again, Rith took hold of the undead hand, ripping it off along with the sword and then plunged it into the chest, before then grabbing his swords and pushed harder, finally cutting the torso off and then slamming the Archfiend headfirst into the floor, shattering the skull and freeing his second sword. Watching the remains of the undead Archfiend disintegrate to dust, Rith looked over to his brother. Zahkriirith using his two swords to block an overhead swing, nearly losing his balance from the force. Baring his fangs, Zahkriirith pushed back, knocked the undead Terrorking into the wall, before impaling one of his swords into one of the archfiend's arms, pinning it to the wall as it dropped the massive blade. The fiend began to wildly swipe its free arm, Zahkriirith jumped back to avoid the swipes, the Terrorking then began to reach up for the blade pinning him, Rith dashed over, impaling his blade into the arm and pushed it into the wall, pinning both arms now. The brothers then used their second swords, swinging together and scissored the Archfiend's head off. The head slams on the ground and rolls for a bit before both of the zombified Archfiends turned to dust and was blown away.
Rith silently panting began to draw a sigil in the air as the circle and symbol appear in light, before a small steam of light went to both of the Slasher Brothers' head, "What the FUCK were those?!" Rith yelled in his thoughts.
"Those were Archfiends." Zahkriirith replied in thought, revealing the sigil was a telepath commune sigil.
"Yeah, but they were ZOMBIES!? The fuck?!"
Zahkriirith looked down the hall the large creature and Atticus walked down, "Go warn the Young Lord and his mate!"
"What? Why not split the warning?" Rith asked.
"We need to know where the Shadow Rider is going." Zahkriirith replied, "I'm going to follow him. Go warn them, now!"
Zahkriirith dashed off to follow them as Rith silently groaned before vanishing from the hallway. During the brawl in the hallway at the Blue Girl Dorm, Alexis slept peacefully, while Gahlot leaned on the wall, standing outside on the balcony.
"Shouldn't you be resting?"
Gahlot slightly snarled as she glared at the closed door as Etoile Cyber fazed through it, returning the glare.
"If you actually know the Dragon Guards and not just thinking about shaking your ass," Gahlot hissed, "you would know I happen to be part Lunar Dragon."
"What did you say about 'shaking ass' you—" Etoile began to demand.
"She has every right to insult you, Etoile." A voice snapped, getting both of them to look over at Cyber Prima, standing by the glass door, "You have been nothing but rude to her since this morning, Etoile." She said before looking at Gahlot, "But you are part Lunar Dragon?"
"Why else would I be out here?" Gahlot snapped, "The first Lunar Dragon was hatched during the Lunar Eclipse and was granted tremendous powers, and those powers were passed to its children when they hatched under a Lunar Eclipse."
"But you said you are part Lunar Dragon." Prima stated, "You're not a direct descendant?"
"If you want to be technical, "Gahlot huffed, "by looking at the Tree of the Lunar Dragon, Iilahnuv is the one true descendant of the Lunar Dragon, I'm one of the distant branches on the Tree."
At this time, Tutu and Gymnast were listening in, "If I remember," Tutu spoke up, "Don't Lunar Dragons have like healing abilities that differ on the moon phase?"
"it's not just healing abilities!" Gahlot snapped, "It's all of the powers, and they work better while bathing in the moonlight. Which is why I'm out here."
"Which phase of the moon would make you at full power?" Gymnast asked, "I figured a full moon would set you as your full power."
"The full moon not only has some heat cycles for some dragons- depending on the time- gives Lunar Dragons a much-needed boost in our powers, but the Lunar Eclipse will put any Lunar Dragon at full power. Since the first was hatched during a Lunar Eclipse."
"What about the new moon?" Tutu asked.
"You mean the Moonless Nights?" Gahlot asked, "No moon, no power enhancements."
Suddenly a pale gold blur blew past the five of them, startling Tutu as she lets out a surprised squeak as they all look into the room, seeing the newly arrival dragon looking around the room in a panic.
"Rith?!" Gahlot hissed, "What the fuck are you doing here?!"
The armored dragon turns around, and began to franticly sign, "For the love of the Ancestors, No one can understand when you sign in a panic!" Gahlot snarled. Rith then gave a hand gesture followed by what seem to be a silent groan in frustration.
"Didn't the Young Lord order you to watch over that boy?!" Gahlot asked, "Why are you here?!"
The mute dragon pulled out both of his swords as Etoile saw it as a threat and went to attack the armor dragon, only to receive a backhand to her face. Stopping her as she then groans out cupping her face.
"FUCK!" she yelled, "You damn scaled—"
"That was to stop you from doing something stupid!" Gahlot snarled, before looking at Rith as he then pressed the blades together at an angle causing her eyes to widen, "Rith! Don't you DARE!"
Rith just silently glared at her before he began to scrap the two swords against each other, causing a loud horrid metallic screech, causing the five them to begin to groan out from the sound, and in turn Alexis shot up from her bed, groaning loudly.
"What the hell?!" She groans out as she looks around the room only noticing Rith, "Who are you and what are you doing in my room?!"
Rith gave a confused facial expression then looked to his left, Alexis slowly looked over and saw no one, Rith gestured his hands before Gahlot appeared, "Ok, what is going on? Which Guard is this?" Alexis asked tiredly.
"This is one of the Slasher Brothers." Gahlot hissed, "The younger of the two, Rith. Who is supposed to be watching your sibling!"
The grogginess and fatigue suddenly left Alexis as she shot out of bed and looked at Gahlot, "What did you just say?!" she demanded, causing Gahlot to slightly wince since it was similar to an order.
"Grr, I said he was ordered to watch your brother!" Gahlot growled back.
"Then why is he here?"
"That's what I was trying to figure out if everyone would just shut the fuck up and he calms down!"
Again, Rith lets out a silent groan before taken off from the balcony, "HEY!" Gahlot roared, "Rith, get your tail back here and explain!"
"Hold on." Tutu spoke up, getting Alexis to look at her, "If that Dragon Guard was supposed to watch Alexis' brother, and he came here in a panic."
"You think something happened?" Prima asked.
"Prima you can read sign language, correct?" Gymnast asked.
"I can." She replied.
"Were you able to get anything?"
"Hmm, I got 'Atticus', 'Shadow', and 'Fiends'." Prima stated, "He was signing in a panic."
"Which is why none of us can understand him!" Gahlot snarled.
Alexis on the other hand, gasped lightly as she quickly puts on her sports outfit, "And where are you going?" Gahlot asked.
"You still don't get it?!" Alexis asked in her panic, "Those three words, I was able to piece it together, 'Atticus was taken by a Shadow Rider who uses Fiends.'!"
"But even if that's the case," Tutu spoke up, "Fiends can mean anything."
"Plus, there's not that many arch-types for Fiends." Gymnast added.
Gahlot bared her fangs as she ran to the balcony, "Is that son of a bitch back?!" she snarled.
"What are you on about?!" Etoile asked.
"There is only one Arch-types for Fiends." Gahlot snapped, "The Archfiends! That means that bastard returned for revenge!"
"Wait, you mean the guy who abducted me to duel Draco?" Alexis asked, "Why would he take Atticus?!"
"Think for a damn second!" Gahlot roared, "The Shadow Riders knows who has the Keys, if Titan is now a Shadow Rider, he's using the same tactic but with you being his target! Perhaps, to defeat you and use your body as his vessel to duel the Young Lord, with the threat of, 'Defeat me, and her body will belong to the Shadow Realm.'!"
Alexis not wanting to wake anyone for running through the dorm, walked to the balcony, opening the door, looking over the rail, then walked back to her room and positioned herself.
"Hey, what are you doing?" Tutu asked.
"Don't you even think of doing that maneuver!" Gahlot hissed, "There is a reason it's in the advance style! One wrong move and it'll end up badly!"
(Flashback)
Alexis walked up to the Slifer dorm, looking up at his dorm room, seeing a familiar black and white scaled dragoness standing in front of the door.
"Wait, who is that again?" Alexis thought to herself, "Also, I don't want to shout out if I remember which Guard that was."
"It's Sophitia." Alexis slightly jumped looking back up at the dorm building, "Sorry! Did you forget, we can hear your thoughts now?"
"Y-yeah, I keep forgetting about that."
"It's to help you out, in case you are in class or in a situation where you can't talk out loud." Sophitia explained, "Are you here for the Young Lord?"
"I am." Alexis replied, "It is the weekend, and we wanted some time to ourselves."
Sophitia turned to the door and fazed through it, after a few seconds she reappeared, "He'll be out in just a few—" the door flung open, before Draco ran out and jumped off the railing and did a tumble roll as he lands on the ground and hopped back to his feet.
"Sorry for the wait, Alexis." He said with a slight chuckle.
"Young Lord!" Sophitia yelled out, "Was that really necessary?!"
"Well, it was the quickest way to get down." Draco replied.
"What was that?" Alexis asked.
"Oh, that was a maneuver from the martial arts." Draco replied, "It's in the Advance Style. What I did requires some parkouring."
"Isn't that street gymnastics?" Alexis asked.
"In a way, but more of keeping your momentum and speed with nothing stopping you. A wall in your way? Run climb over it and keep going."
"Or in his case," Sophitia spoke up, "Jump off the second floor of his dorm to the ground."
"And the roll?" Alexis asked.
"To keep the momentum going." Draco replied, "Since jumping from there, the sudden stop will slightly hurt, depending on how I land."
"Oh, the roll was to equalize the point of impact and keep moving with no sudden stop."
"Landing back on my feet to keep moving." Draco added, "It's how Vonzun gets away from his pursuers, after jumping out a window that isn't on the ground floor, since they would follow him and hit the ground, stumbling as he just runs off, getting ahead of them before they can get back to their feet."
"Wow, that sounds very helpful." Alexis stated, "But you said it's in the Advance Style of the Dragon Guard martial arts?"
"Yeah, so don't try it yourself." Draco pleaded, "One wrong step or misplacing your footing on the landing, you can seriously hurt yourself."
(End Flashback)
Alexis looked at the balcony of her room before suddenly running towards it and the railings, "I told you not to think about it!" Gahlot snarled. As Alexis leaped over the railing her eyes slightly shot wide.
"Oh, shit! I forgot the second floor of the Blue Dorm was higher than that of Slifer Dorm!" Alexis fell to the ground and managed to tumble roll, but skid to a stop as she laid in the dirt, "Ok, I forgot the Obelisk Dorm was taller that the Slifer Dorm." She groaned out. She tried to stand up only to collapse again groaning out loudly, as the four Cyber Dancers appeared.
"Are you alright?" Tutu asked.
Gahlot hovers in front of them as she bares her fangs and growls, "I told you not to do that! There is a reason that maneuver is in the Advance Style and not the Basics! I even heard you promised Draco you wouldn't attempt it!"
"Hey, how about you shut up and help her!" Etoile shouted, "After all you are—"
"I was told to be her bodyguard until her brother got his memories back!" Gahlot snapped back, "Not to prevent her from being stupid and injuring herself!"
"Injuring herself?" Prima asked and looked at Alexis.
"Y-yeah I think I twisted my ankle a bit on the landing." She replied.
Gahlot clicked her tongue as she turned around and began to leave, "Hold on!" Alexis called out, "Where are you going?!"
"To where the Archfiends were defeated!" Gahlot snarled, "Draco defeated them in the Abandon Dorm, so that is where they will reappear since that's where they were resealed!"
"You were ordered to protect Alexis!" Etoile yelled out, "You can't go anywhere!"
Gahlot glares back, "Fuck off, Bitch!" She then vanished from sight. Alexis groaned lightly as she struggled to stand up, lightly putting weight on her sprain ankle, she groans out, nearly collapsing again.
"H-hey, Alexis!" Tutu exclaimed, "You really shouldn't be walking on a sprain ankle."
"Ugh! I really don't care about my own injury right now!" she groaned backed, "Atticus was taken by a Shadow Rider! I just got my brother back; I'm not losing him again!"
"And just how will you prevent that if you can't stand up?!" Etoile snapped, "A strong attack will just bring more injury to your ankle!"
"Etoile!" Prima snapped, "Yelling at Alexis isn't going to solve anything!" She then turns to Alexis, "However Alexis, I do agree we need to get you off your foot, but I believe that boy really rubbed off on you. You're going no matter what we say, aren't you?"
"Damn right, I am." Alexis groaned, trying to stand up again.
"Geez, that kid was a good influence on you." Gymnast stated, "I mean you were more kind than the other Blue students, but he really made that characteristic shine through you."
"Yeah, he did." Tutu chimed, "Plus, I'm sure if we meet up with him, he'll more than help—" She stopped as she looked around, slightly startled and afraid.
"Tutu?" Prima asked, "What's wrong?"
"W-we were in front of the Blue Dorm, right?" she asked.
"Yeah."
"Th-then wh-wh-what is this b-building?" Tutu trembling pointed behind them, as they all turned around and saw a decrepit building.
"What the?" Gymnast gasped.
"How…how did we end up in front of the Abandon Dorm?" Alexis asked.
The four Cyber Dancers looked around in confusion, "I'm with Alexis on this. How the hell did we get here?!" Gymnast asked.
"We were all in front of the Blue Dorm." Etoile added, "Why are we in front of the Abandon Dorm!?"
"It's obvious we were all teleported here, without knowing." Prima stated, "But, what is more concerning is we were teleported and we, as Duel Spirits, didn't feel any form of magic."
"Well, we were too focused on Alexis." Gymnast stated, "None of us would have been able to notice the magic that was used."
"Well, there is nothing we can't do." Alexis said, struggling to stand up, "We are already here, so might as well and try to find my brother."
"You are not going anywhere!" Etoile snapped, "If you are going to move, it's only to go back to your dorm room!"
Alexis was about to snap back, but then noticed a figure standing in front of the doorway of the Abadon Dorm. Getting a better look, she noticed the figure was Atticus, just standing at the entrance with his back towards her.
"Atticus!" Alexis called out, suddenly a dark portal opened at the doorway of the Abandon Dorm, as he then walks in a trance-like style into the portal as Alexis quickly but stumbled towards him as Atticus vanished into the darkness, however the portal didn't vanish.
"Do you think?" Tutu asked.
"Yeah, it's a trap." Prima replied, "Alexis, we really should wait—"
Prima looked at Alexis only to realize she was a few meters away from the portal, "Hey, hold on! I think we really should wait for Dragon Prince!"
"I'm not going to lose my brother when I just got him back!" Alexis shouted back as she quickly limps towards the portal.
"We can't let her go by herself!" Tutu yelled.
"I agree." Gymnast stated, "Let's go girls."
The four Dancers turned into orbs of light and shot towards Alexis' Duel Disk, entering her deck as she entered the Shadow Portal, after which the Portal disappeared. However, witnessing it all, Zahkriirith looked on in disbelief as he watched Alexis walk through a Shadow Portal.
"What the fuck?" he thought, "Where in the Dark World of hell is Gahlot?!"
As he thought that, Gahlot appeared in front of the Abandon Dorm and glared at the old decrypting building, "Ugh. Can't believe I have to come back here!" she snarled.
Gahlot heard leaves ruffling as she looked to her right and noticed the older sibling of the Slasher Brothers silently glaring at her.
"What's with that look?" she asked.
"Gahlot, what the fuck?!" Zahkriirith signed.
"What are you on about?"
"Why weren't you with the Young Lord's mate?!" he asked.
"What are you on about?!"
"Why was his mate here without you?!"
Gahlot looked at him, "Are you inbred?" she snapped, "I left her at her Dorm!"
"Oh, so now you are calling me dumb and blind?!" Zahkriirith signed back, "Cause I CLEARLY didn't SEE her walk into a Shadow Portal and into the Shadow Rider's trap!"
"I guess you are blind!" Gahlot snarled, "Because there is no way she got here before me!"
"GAHLOT!"
The sudden yell got both of them to turn around and noticed Draco with the rest of the Dragon Guards.
"Ok, why are you here. Young Lord?!" Gahlot hissed.
(Earlier that night)
Rith appeared outside of the Slifer Dorm, in his state of panic he forgot which room was Draco's, but only knew it was on the second floor and began to go into each room until he found Draco and Syrus. Pulling out his swords, he then pressed them together.
"I'm going to get yelled at, but now is not the time!" he thought, before he then scraped the blades making the metallic screech once more. Syrus yelled out as he suddenly woke up and Draco shot up and slammed his head against the underside of Syrus' bunk and groan out in pain as he falls back down.
"UGH! SERIOUSLY?! AGAIN?!" Draco groaned out as he rubbed his head, through the pain and grogginess he sees the pale-gold armored Guard, "Rith?! What are you doing here?! You're supposed to be guarding Atticus!"
Rith began to sign in his panic as Draco looked on, "Rith, I can understand Sign Language, but not when you are panic signing."
"What's going on?" Syrus asked, "And what was that noise?"
"Rith woke us up." Draco replied, "But he's supposed to be—" he stopped as Rith got his attention with hand signs that he managed to read, "Wait, Rith? Say that again."
"Atticus was taken by the Shadow Rider who used Zombified Archfiends!" Rith signed again.
Draco quickly got out of his bed and just got his shoes on, staying in his sleep shorts and grabbed his Duel Disk, "Draco? What are you doing?!"
"The Shadow Riders made their move!" he replied, "They took Atticus, which means their target is Alexis!"
"What?!" Syrus gasped, "Should I get Mana and Chazz?!"
"That won't be necessary." Draco replied, "Rith told me what the Shadow Rider used as his Monsters, and I am not letting Mana or Chazz face them."
"What do you mean?"
Draco didn't answer as he quickly left the room and began to run towards the forest path that lead to the Abandon Dorm.
"Rith, go back to the Guild and tell Kinbok to get everyone available to go to the Abandon Dorm!" Draco ordered, "If what you said is true about the Archfiends, I know who it is, and we need everyone!"
(Present Time)
"So yeah, that's why I'm here!" Draco told Gahlot, "What about you?! You're supposed to be with Alexis!"
"She's at her Dorm with a twisted ankle!" Gahlot hissed, "Since, she can't go anywhere I came here to deal with the Shadow Rider!"
"Bullshit!" Zahkriirith sighed, "I saw Alexis enter a Shadow Portal that was in the doorway of the Abandon Dorm!"
"That's bullshit, you mute fucker!"
"Both of you, knock it off!" Draco roared at them both, just as Vonzun appeared next to him, "Young Lord, your mate is nowhere around the Dorm she is assigned to." The Spy stated, Draco then glared at Gahlot, who gave a very shocked and confused glare.
"That's impossible!" she yelled.
"I did sense the lingering of magic from a Shadow Portal." Vonzun continued.
"Shadow Portal?" Draco asked.
"It's like a Spirit Gate, but it draws its power from the Shadow Realm, hence the name."
"W-wait." Gahlot shakingly gasped as she gripped her head, "Th-then that m-means—"
"When you abandoned your post- which is by Alexis- the Shadow Rider opened that portal to get her here and lured her into the Abandon Dorm by using her brother!" Draco roared out, "Gahlot! This is by far the most selfish, irrational decision you have ever made!"
"Sire?" Drake spoke up.
"I'm not in the mood at the moment, Drake!" Draco yelled at him.
"It's important, Sir!" Drake snapped back, "All of the Shadow Riders, up until now, never used cheap tactics like this."
"What are you talking about, Drake?" Kinbok asked.
"Yeah, Night Shroud used Jasmine and Mindy to get the Young Lord to duel him!" Ronaan stated.
"Correction, he used his half of the Shadow Pendant and the Young Lord's half reacted to it." Drake explained, "The Shadow Charm was just trying to reunite the two halves, and the two girls were just too close to the Young Lord when he got teleported."
"What about that vampire bitch?!" Dinok snarled, "Didn't she use the little kid?"
"During the duel." Drake pointed out, "As for Tania, she was just doing the Traditional Amazoness Way."
"Come to think of it," Rovit spoke up, "The Dark Scorpions just did their usual thing in trying to steal the object they were after."
"And Abidos did teleport everyone to him." Mindokah added, "Each of the Shadow Riders, so far, never baited anyone."
"Which means this Shadow Rider knows the Young Lord and his mate personally." Drake said.
"But the only person I know who did that was Titan." Draco pointed out, "He used Alexis to get to me."
"But you defeated him, and he was taken to the Shadow Realm." Kendov stated.
"And Night Shroud was banished to the Shadow Realm by Dad, and I still dueled him." Draco replied, before realizing a fact, "Wait, Rith said the Shadow Rider used Zombified Archfiends. How do Archfiends become Zombies?"
"The only known way, if the Archfiends are sealed, and a ritual is used to bring out their bodies but not their souls, hence the Zombification." Koraavnu said.
"Does defeating them in a Shadow Game count as sealing them?" Draco asked.
"It does, since you are the son of the last one that sealed them." Koraavnu replied, "Since Her Majesty was the one who used a Blood Seal, and her blood is in your veins you did seal them after that Shadow Game."
"Which is why they dragged Titan down with them." Draco added, "Titan made a deal with the Shadow Riders for a second chance at revenge."
"But, why Alexis?" Ronaan asked, "She didn't beat him in a duel."
"Low-life scum!" Kendov snarled.
"What do you mean?" Draco asked.
"He is going to try and defeat Alexis in a duel. If she loses, he can use her to Duel you, with the threat if you win, Alexis would be lost to the Shadow Realm!"
Draco's eyes widen, before a haunting and sinister cackling was heard, everyone looked towards the Abandon Dorm, standing there was a strange humanoid creature, wearing a ragged hooded cloak or robe, while holding a sinister staff, pulsing with blood veins as more appear towards the top of the staff having a fiendish head sitting on the top of the staff.
"Heh-heh, too little too late." It spoke up, "My Dark Master, shall defeat the human girl and use her body to house the soul of a fiend that feeds off the lust of its prey."
Kinbok, reached for his claymore, slowly pulling it into view from his back as the other weapon wielding Dragon Guards unsheathed their weapons, while Kendov took an advance offensive stance for the Dragon Guard Style as Dinok snarled and extended his claws. Draco clenched his fists as the shook with anger.
"That bastard!" he thought, "He thinks Alexis will end up like a Succubus?!"
"Kinbok!" Draco slightly snarled out.
"Yes, Young Prince?" the Captain asked.
"Take point in this attack against that thing!" Draco ordered, "Also, Gahlot!" Draco glared over at the Assassin as she looked back, holding her Sais for the fight, "Since you abandoned Dad's direct orders to stay with Alexis, you are to STAY at MY side for the fight!"
Gahlot let out a sharp hiss through her fangs as she clinched them, "There is no doubt, Vonzun will report back to the King about me abandoning his orders!" she thought, "If I don't follow these orders, the punishment will be worse." She then jumped back, landing in front of Draco.
"No matter what you may try," the hooded creature spoke, raising the staff as the eyes started to glow a sinister red, "It will only end in your death!" The creature then began to perform a demonic chat and then a dark crimson aura emerged from the creature slowly raising to the sky before splitting into five serpent-like creatures. The five aura serpents descend into the ground, as the creature finished the chat, a skeletal claw shot out of the ground. It dug into the ground as the rest of the creature pulled the rest of its body out of the ground, while let out a gurgled snarled, revealing the creature having rotten flesh, and a tattered cape.
"Wait." Draco muttered, "Isn't that an Archfiend Soldier?"
Afterwards, the other creatures began to emerge from the ground, two more Archfiend looking zombies emerged, letting out gurgled snarls, followed by a human zombie wearing a tattered, ripped, blood red robe, holding a jagged dagger and the final was a three-headed canine, missing fur patches and rotten flesh as they all snarled out.
"Terrorking Archfiend? Skull Archfiend of Lightning? Archfiend cultist? Cerberus, Beast of the Archfiends?" Draco questioned, seeing all of the zombified Archfiends.
"These are the Archfiends you defeated in your Shadow Duel with Titan." Kendov stated.
"But if I sealed them when I won that duel, how can their corpses be pull out of the seal?!"
"You know nothing of the Archfiends!" the creature snarled, "You sealed their souls, but their flesh can still house the souls of many fiends!"
"So, that bastard is behind this?!" Draco demanded.
"That fool is only a vessel for the Master." The hooded creature cackled, "Now my undead brethren; DEVOUR THEM!"
Just then, a pillar of a maelstrom of souls erupted between the Dragon Guards and the Undead Archfiends. The hooded creature took a step back as a pair of deep glowing light blue eyes peered through the maelstrom before it vanishes, revealing a pure black fully armor dragon, as it huffed furiously, creating his twin waved large blade.
"Silziigaaf?!" Kinbok gasped, "What are you doing here?!"
The Gatekeeper and Protector of the Well, raised his sword pointing at the hooded creature, "Tol Prokdostoz Nahgahdinok los dii!" he snarled back, hatred dripping as his spoke. ("That Archfiend Necromancer is mine!")
Kinbok gave a nod and raised his claymore above him, "Dragon Guards, send these Fiends back to the depths they crawled out from!" he roared out. The other guards let out battle cries as Dinok roars out, before both sides began to charge at each other, Silziigaaf effortlessly shoved or pushed the undead Archfiends to the side as he headed straight towards the Necromancer.
Meanwhile, in the hidden chamber that stood under the Abandon Dorm, Alexis looked around, trying to figure out where she was, as a circle of torches lit the surrounding. She slowly and carefully walked towards the circle of torches, seeing the ground covered to a black mist, as well as seeing craving into the ground.
"What is this place?" she asked, before she felt a large hand cover her mouth, her eyes snapped open in shock as she remember the last time this happened to her, before she suddenly took hold of two fingers of the hand and twisted them, until they popped causing the person behind her to groan out in pain, she then quickly flipped herself, slamming her foot into the person's face, causing them to stumble back as she land on her foot with the twisted ankle and groan out as she quickly changed the weight to her other leg before stumbling lightly, "Damn it, I nearly forgot about my ankle." She thought, "But honestly, I'm glad all that weight wearing, and practice really helped out."
The tall, coated figure began to chuckle lightly as it removed its hand from its face, revealing a mask that covered the top part of its face. The mask, however, seemed to have a few bulging veins forming from the center of the mask and extends into the face of the person, and what caused Alexis to slightly gasp was the mask had the Millenium Insignia but sideways at the center.
"Well, it seems you have gotten stronger since our last encounter." The creature said with a demonic voice.
"Last encounter?" Alexis thought, before remembering how the creature grabbed, reminding her how the Duel Mercenary grabbed her and remembered Draco calling him Titan.
"You're that bastard Titan, aren't you?!" She demanded.
The creature began to laugh sinisterly as it stepped into the torch light, the trench coat it wore was tattered and torn in several spots, but most of all three large bone-like spikes jagged out of the shoulders, "You must be talking about the pathetic mortal who used to be this body."
"'U-used to'?" Alexis stuttered in fear, "What does that mean?"
"It means exactly what it means!" "Titan" roared out, "That mortal lost this body in the last Shadow Game, once his soul was consumed, I took hold of it, and thanks to the Shadow Charm Mask, the body never rejected my soul."
Alexis began to tremble, wincing as she put pressure on her twisted ankle, which "Titan" noticed, "Now, we shall duel!" he snarled, "When I win, I'll get my revenge with that bastard who foiled my plans, and you will be the tool that will do it, once you also become a Fiend!"
The Dueling Vest he wore began to activate, letting out strange crunch sounds, revealing to be a large bone-like limb, as it snaps into place, before lighting up.
"Ok is everything about him supposed to be nightmare fuel?!" Alexis thought, as she activates her Duel Disk, "He has to be talking about Draco. Draco did mention how this guy abducted me to lure him here." "When I win, you will restore my brother's memories!"
"Claiming you will win this Shadow Game?"
"Why not? You did it first!"
"DUEL!"
Alexis LP: 4000
"Titan" LP: 4000
"I'll start the duel." "Titan" announced, drawing his first card, "Hmm, I'll start by summoning Terrorking Necrofiend!" Placing the first monster down, a skeletal hand emerged from the ground, before rotten flesh began to regenerate on it the hand dug into the ground as a gurgled snarl was heard as the rotten undead Terrorking Archfiend climb out of the ground and took a stand as it snarled with a slight broken jaw.
Terrorking Necrofiend

Alexis looked at the zombified Terrorking before realizing something off as her Duel Disk displayed the Monster card as a "Zombie-Fiend" and not just a standard "Zombie", "Hold on, why is that monster being called 'Zombie-Fined'?" she asked, "It's two types of Monster types?!"
"That's one part of my 'Necrofiend' arch-type." He replied, "they are treated as both Zombie and Fiend type. Furthermore, they can't be destroyed by cards that specifies either type." He then took another card from his hand, "I now activate the Field Spell, Dark Arena!"
The field slot cracked open, as he slid the card into the slot, as it closed to activate, the chamber around them became a dark lard cavern, and emerging behind "Titan" was a large rock formation, looking like a large skull with its mouth open as strange dark purple fog poured from it, filling the ground around them.
"Well, that Field Spell did nothing to your monster." Alexis pointed out.
"Yet." "Titan" replied giving a sinister grin, "My turn is over."
Alexis gulped as she drew her card, she looked through her hand, and gave a smirk at her opening hand, "I'll start with activating Polymerization!" she called out, creating the vortex above her, "I'll fuse my Etoile Cyber and Blade Skater to summon, Cyber Blader!"
The two dancers appeared and leap into the vortex, lightning shot out as they merged together, emerging from the vortex came the familiar dark blue hair, human-like Monster as she gracefully land on the ground and stared down the opponent.

"Alright, Cyber Blader!" Alexis called out, "Attack his monster! Whirlwind Rage!"
Cyber Blader began to skate across the battlefield, then began to spin herself at a lightning speed, becoming a whirlwind of red and purple before extending her leg as the skate sliced through the rotting skull as her fast pace spinning allow her to slice every inch of the Fiend, before stopping and striking a pose as the opposing monster crumbled from the attack.
"Hold on." Alexis spoke up, noticing the Terorking Necrofiend's remains were still on the field, but more worrying, "Titan's" Life Points didn't decrease, "Why didn't you lose Life Points?!" she demanded, "My monster is clearly stronger than yours!"
"That is the power pf my Dark Arena and Necrofiends." "Titan" replied, "You can't kill what is already dead, Mortal. Unless you have more monsters than I do, you'll never damage my Life Points!"
"That doesn't explain why you Monster's remains are still on the field!" Alexis shouted back.
"He did, explain." Alexis looked up at Cyber Blader and noticed her sweating slightly.
"What do you mean?" Alexis asked.
"I believe his Field Spell prevents them from being truly destroyed by battle." Cyber Blader explained, "That's what he meant by 'Can't kill what is already dead.' And the needing more monsters than him."
Alexis looked back at his field and noticed the remains starting to move and reassemble the Terrorking Necrofiend as it stood there and snarled at them.
"So, in other words, his monsters are just off the field until the Battle Phase ends?"
"It seems that way."
"I'll set one card face down, ending my turn." Alexis called out setting one card as it appears on her field, "I'm sure I can find out a way to beat him. I just wish Draco and the others were here to support me."
Outside of the Abandon Dorm, Dinok roars out as he grabs the skull of zombie Archfiend Soldier, slamming it to the ground and dragged it across the ground, before throwing it towards a boulder, shattering the creature into dust, only for it to re-emerge from the ground, Dinok bared his fangs as he hissed out in anger.
"You damn rotten piece of shit!" he snarled out, extending his claws as his body began to bulge and a crimson aura began to emit from his body, "Just stay FUCKEN DEAD!" Dinok roared out charging at the Soldier, grabbing its leg before lifting it up and slamming it into the ground, repeating the process, until he was only holding the leg, roaring out in rage as he watched the Soldier climbing out of the ground.
Kinbok locked his blade with the Terrorking, the undead fiend began to let out a snarl, before an arrow pierced into its left eye socket, stunning it. Kinbok pushed the fiend back and then slammed his claymore into the creature, shattering it to pieces, however like the Soldier, the Terrorking re-emerged from the ground.
"Captain?" Ronaan called out, "Is it just me, or are these things coming out of the ground faster than we can destroy them?"
"It's the Necromancer, Ronaan." Kinbok replied, "The spell he cast must call them back when they get destroyed."
Kendov avoided a Lighting strike before charging back with Flaming Claw Strike, causing the zombie Skull Archfiend to combust in flames as it shrieks out.
"Then Silziigaaf better hurry and kill that Necromancer Archfiend to stop them from returning." He stated.
On the roof of the Abandon Dorm, the Necromancer conjured a dark soul into a weapon to which Silziigaaf sliced through and absorbed into his own blade, as he continues to swing at the Fiend. After a dodge, Silziigaaf back hand the Necromancer hard enough to cause the creature to turn around so its back now facing him, before impaling his large blade into the Necromancer's back, causing it to shriek out, but then stopped.
"Missed." It stated, stunning Silziigaaf, "You sword only affects those with a soul or are a soul. I have no soul!" The Necromancer transformed into a cloak of black smoke and reappeared in front of him, "Only another Archfiend can kill me!"
Silziigaaf took his stance holding his blade, "Zu'u lost krii Dinokaar wo saag rinis." Silziigaaf snarled, "Zu'u fen siiv ven krii hi!" ("I have killed Liches who said the same. I will find a way to kill you!")
"Now it is my turn." "Titan" said, starting his second turn, "Well now, this is perfect."
"I'm not going to like this." Alexis muttered.
"I summon Picador Necrofiend!" He placed the card down and the ground in front of him began to crack as the second monster rose from the ground, a fiend with tethered wings, wearing bone armor that was cracked or broken in several spots and rotten flesh as it was revealed to be sitting upon a skeletal fiendish horse, the fiend let out a haunting cackle as the fiendish horse neighed out.

"Summoning that second monster was his biggest mistake." Cyber Blader spoke up.
"But his second card is another Necrofiend." Alexis pointed out, "He won't take Battle Damage."
"Now, Picador Necrofiend, attack!" the fiendish horse neighed out, before charging towards Alexis and Cyber Blader.
"He won't lose Life Points, so why bother attacking?" Alexis thought before realizing as she gasped out, watching the creature faze through Cyber Blader and the Fiend raised a clawed hand.
"It can attack directly!?"
"Alexis, use your—" Cyber Blader started to yell out, before hearing Alexis scream out in pain as the claws swipe through her, slightly shredding her blazer, luckily for Alexis she was wearing a sports bra as she pants out from the sudden attack.
Alexis LP: 4000-2400
"Ah, fuck!" She thought, "Draco said these Shadow Games were dangerous, but I didn't expect the damage to be real!"
"Alexis, are you alright?" Cyber Blader asked, watching as Alexis stood back up.
"Y-yeah, I was so caught off guard, I forgot about my face down."
"Now I set a card. My turn ends." "Titan" chuckled.
"Alright, I'll draw." Alexis said, slightly wincing as she drew her card, "I summon Cyber Tutu!" placing the second monster down, and the light blue and red edge bodysuit with a transparent sky-blue tutu stood the young pink bob cut, ballet dancer.

"Titan" began to laugh at the new monster, "And just what is a weakling like that is going to do against my monsters?" he taunted out.
"Cyber Tutu, attack!" Alexis ordered. Cyber Tutu dashed off as "Titan" smirked, before it faded.
"Wait, she didn't say which monster." He thought, just as Cyber Tutu bypassed his monsters and proceeded to leap into the air and spun herself before kicking "Titan" across his right cheek, getting him to stumble lightly and growl threatening.
"Titan" LP:4000-3000
"You're not the only one capable of attacking directly." Alexis said, "As long as Cyber Tutu is the one with the lowest Attack Points, she can attack directly."
"Titan" snarled out as he drew his card, "I summon Nercofiend Cultist!" he roared out. Appearing on the field as a tattered robe and a broken skull hood as the new zombie let out a zombie hissed.

"I now use my Cultist's Special Ability!" he continued, "By sacrificing itself, it'll drag all other monsters with equal attack to hell!"
"W-wait." Tutu stuttered, "I have the same attack points as that creature."
"Now, Infernal Sacrifice!" "Titan" roared out as the Cultist impaled its dagger into its chest as shrieks out, bursting in hellfire as it burns to ashes, Cyber Tutu braced herself for the flames to spread to her, but nothing happened.
"What is the meaning of this?!"
"Well, you had three monsters when you used that Ability." Alexis said, "Cyber Blader negates all of your cards while you have three Monsters. And since you had to sacrifice your Cultist, her attack is doubled again."

ATK/2100-4200
"I can still destroy that nuisance!" "Titan" roared, pointing at Cyber Tutu, "Terrorking Necrofiend, destroy that bitch!"
The Necrofiend snarled out, dashing towards Tutu as it dragged its sword behind it as it drew closer to Cyber Tutu, and lift its sword over its head as she screamed out.
"I activate my Trap, Draining Sheild!" Alexis announced, causing a barrier to appear intercepting the wild swing, and bathing Alexis' field in a healing light.
Alexis LP: 2400-4400
"That was a nice save, Alexis." Cyber Blader said, "You regain more Life Points than you lost."
"Picador Necrofiend!" the sudden enraged roar made the three of them jump back, "Attack!"
The skeletal horse let out a haunting neigh, before it began to gallop towards Alexis' field. The fiend on the back of the horse extended its claws as it gallops pass her monsters and swiped Alexis again as she yells out in pain again as more of her blazer was clawed off. She took a step back and show a pain look as she then fell to her knee, to ease the weight off of her twisted ankle.
Alexis LP: 4400-2800
"Well, what do we have here?" "Titan" mocked, "An injury before the duel? How interesting."
Outside the Dorm, the zombified Cerberus snarled out before the left and right head got impaled by swords and pinned to the ground as the center head snarled and tried to bite out as the Slasher Brothers stayed out of its range holding their swords into the ground, as Drake leap into the air and impaled his sword into the center head, jumping back as Rovit slammed his prosthetic into the handle shattering the skull. But thanks to the other to heads still being active the Archfiend didn't re-emerge from the ground.
"Oh great." Rovit growled, "We have to destroy all three heads?"
"Well, given the fact that it'll just re-emerge if we did," Drake replied, "I'm fine with it being pinned down."
After saying the that, Cerberus pulled back, ripping the other heads off, the headless body flail around before collapsing on the ground and re-emerged from the ground snarling at all four of them.
"Oh, that is so unfair!" Drake whined.
"Decapitated itself to be revived!" Rovit snarled.
Rith and Zahkriirith took hold of their swords as the undead three-headed fiend charged towards them. They swung their blades, slicing the legs off and then impaling all four swords into the body, pinning down. The legless beast snarled out wiggling in place.
"Smart move there you two." Drake said.
"Heads intact, so it's not destroyed." Rith signed.
"Now the creature can't kill itself nor can it attack us!" Zahkriirith added in sign language.
Rovit shot his head up and looked around for Kinbok, "We need to tell the Captain not to kill them but chop off their limbs and pin them down."
Meanwhile, Draco took hold of the undead Cultist's arm stopping it from trying to stabbing him, kicking the Cultist back, Gahlot quickly impaled her Sais into its head and threw it into a tree, shattering the upper body, however it just pulled itself out of the ground snarling at the two.
"Alright, so they pop up where their body gets destroyed." Draco panted out, "That's good to know."
"So, the further I throw it, the more time we have to catch our breath?" Gahlot asked, "I still never understood why the undead is stronger than living creatures."
"Well, you could call it 'human theory'." Draco replied getting into a defensive stance, "But the undead in movies and shows I have seen, never sleep or actually need the energy from eating."
Gahlot looked Draco with a raised brow, but turned her gaze back to the Cultist as it stumbles towards them, "So, you're saying they never feel fatigue, is that right?"
"Yup." Draco replied, just as he caught the wrist of the Cultist as it tries to stab him again, but this time proceeded to snap the elbow off as Gahlot once again removed its head and threw the body not as far as the first time.
"D-damn it!" she huffed out, "I'm starting to get exhausted."
"Hah, as long as you can k-keep it away from us." Draco panted out, before letting out a painfilled snarl, falling to his hands and knees. Looking back, he saw the Cultist's dagger impaled into his left leg as the undead pulled itself out of the ground. Gahlot looks back and quickly kicked the skull off, sending the body flying slightly. Draco growled out as he took hold of the dagger and pulled it out of his leg, letting out a pain hiss.
"Prince Draco, are you-"
"I swear to the Gods, Gahlot!" Draco snarled out, "If you ask me 'If I'm alright?' after CLEARLY seeing me getting stabbed in the fucken leg! I'll take one of your Sais and stab YOU IN THE LEG!"
Gahlot looked back watching the Cultist pulling itself out of the ground again, wondering how it appeared behind Draco, before gasping, "Captain!" she called out, getting Kinbok's attention as he kicked the Terrorking back, "Be careful when destroying the undead Archfiend! They can emerge wherever ANY of the body remains lands!"
Kinbok looks at the Terrorking and back to the Cultist knowing during the fighting, the undead were raising where their bodies turned to dust, "I figured they were just popping up where they died." He shouted back, "And now, you just informed me, they can just pop up wherever their pieces land?"
"It's the only explanation to why Draco was able to get stabbed when I threw the body elsewhere, away from him!" Gahlot snapped.
"Speaking of!" Kinbok roared, causing Gahlot to turn around, and dashed between Draco and the Cultist, just as the undead creature tried to impaled Draco again, catching the hand guard of the dagger, but due to her fatigue, she didn't have enough strength as the dagger stabbed her right shoulder as she snarled out. Seeing this, Draco tried to ignite his Flame, only to pant out.
"Damn it!" he thought, "I don't have the energy to use my Flame! Alexis, try to hold on a little longer!"
Gahlot struggled as the Cultist continued to push the dagger deeper into her shoulder as she bared her fangs, snarling at the undead, before a throwing knife impaled the side of the head of the Cultist, stunning it. Gahlot took the chance, pushing the arms back, taking the dagger out of her shoulder, just as Vonzun appeared, kicking the Cultist into a tree stump, before running up to it, to curb stomp its skull.
"Vonzun, STOP!" Draco ordered, causing the Spy to freeze, "If you destroy the skull, it'll just come back!"
"Then what do I do?!"
"Captain!" Rovit and the Slasher Brothers arrived, panting heavily from their endless fight, "Cut-cut off their limbs!"
"Rovit, what are you talking about?!" Kinbok asked, just as the Slashers stopped the Terrorking from attacking him.
"Cut their arms and legs off, then pin them down with your weapon!" Rovit explained.
Draco groaned out, "Do what he suggests! If we can't permanently kill them, then permanently immobilize them!"
Kinbok looked at the Slasher Brothers, holding the arms of the Terrorking, before kicking one of its legs off, causing it to lose its balance and crashed to the ground, then thrusted his claymore through the ribcage as the hook like claws of the handguard hooks a rib, preventing the Terrorking from squirming.
"Rip the arms off, now!" he ordered the Slasher Brothers, which they did as Rovit removed the remaining leg.
Kendov hearing the suggestion and order, he effortlessly avoided a Lighting Strike from the Skull Necrofiend, took hold of the right arm, and gave three jabs in quick succession. After the third jab, the shoulder completely disintegrated, causing the arm to fall to the ground. The Fiend tried a wild swing, Kendov caught and proceeded to jab the shoulder, shattering the bone to dust, noticing rebars sticking out of the wall of the Abandon Dorm, Kendov kicked the now armless Fiend into the rebars as they came out of the chest, causing the Fiend to shriek out, kicking the legs out to prevent it from moving, Kendov them bent the rebars, one upwards and the other downwards, pinning it to the wall.
Dinok, still in the Berserker's Rage, took hold of the Soldier's arms and ripped them off, then stomped on the legs to dust, Dinok then took hold of the tattered cape and used it to wrap and restraint the Soldier as it squirms helplessly on the ground.
Silziigaaf locked his blade with the staff, "Soon, your allies will become corpses," the Necromancer mocked, "and will be new Necrofiends!"
Silziigaaf glanced down from the roof and gave an amused huff, "Nii fon nust dreh nunon flogah." He replied. ("It seems they are doing just fine.")
The Necromancer looked down to the ground, noticing all of its undead kin were pinned and watched as Vonzun preformed and casted Shadow Spell to hold the Cultist to the tree stump.
"You think you have won?!" it snarled, before it began to chant once more.
"Kroluhaal! Mindokah!" Draco snarled out, "Get the Barriers up!"
"Right away, my Prince!" the Mage replied.
"Vahraniik start healing his leg!" Gahlot hissed out as she holds her bleeding shoulder.
"How did he get hurt in the first place?!" she demanded.
"Do you not see the—"
"Gahlot!" Draco hissed out glaring at the Assassin, "Not another word!"
The Necromancer finished its incantation, as the Necrofiends suddenly began to struggle in a more weaken state.
"What did that bastard do?!" Kinbok asked himself.
Both Physical and Magical Barrier appeared around the Dragon Guards. Draco stayed kneeling on the ground as he looks at the Necrofiends.
"Wait, did that Necromancer cast Shield and Sword?" he asked, "Did he purposely weakened them?"
"What would be the point in that?" Ronaan asked.
"MULTIPLY!" the Necromancer hissed out sinisterly.
"Oh shit." Gahlot muttered, "Most Zombie cards have zero Defense Points. He weakened them to make four copies!"
"WHAT?!" everyone gasped, just as sixteen limbs shot from the ground and four copies of each Necrofiend snarling at the Dragon Guards.
"Kinbok?" Draco asked.
"Yes, Young Lord?"
"Outside of Duels, how are Dragon Physical and Dragon Magical Barriers destroyed?"
"When their casters run out of strength to keep them up."
"And how do they lose strength?" Draco asked.
"By holding the Barriers while being attacked." Kinbok replied.
On cue, the four Skull Necrofiends of Lightning began to blast lightning bolts towards them. As the bolts struck the Barrier, Mindokah slightly groaned, putting her energy to reenforce the spots that were struck. The other twelve Necrofiends began charging towards the Barriers, slamming their blades into it as Kroluhaal growled out with each blow.
"Can you guys transfer energy to each other?" Draco asked.
"We can." Kendov replied.
"But most of us are drained from the fight." Rovit stated.
"Not the guards that just arrived." Vonzun stated.
"In that case." Rahzun spoke up, "I'll transfer my energy to Mindokah."
Everyone then hears a startled "Eep!" followed by watching the Soldier getting smacked across his face by a white tail, then Rovit punching his snout with the prosthetic arm. Rovit, glaring daggers as Mindokah was blushing with anger.
"It you ever put your hand near or below her/my tail again," both the siblings snarling in unison, "I'll bite your fucking hand off! /I'll break your fucking arm off!"
Kinbok glared at the blue scaled dragon, furious about what he did, during a battle, "Zooruvhun!" he roared, "You'll transfer energy to Mindokah!"
The Legendary Hero nods his head, "Vahraaniik transfer your energy to Kroluhaal when you are done with the Young Lord's leg."
Back inside the Dorm, Alexis struggled to stand up, "Ok, let's get this over with quickly." She said drawing her card, "I activate Card of Sanctity! Now, you draw two cards, and I'll draw four cards!" Both of them drew the number of cards, Alexis looked through her cards before coming to a sudden realization.
"Wait a minute. Where's my brother?!" she demanded.
"Titan" began to chuckle as he snapped his fingers, "I was wondering when you'll ask me that." From the darkness, Atticus came floating in, chained to a stone pillar, however one of his legs seemed to be gone.
"What? What the hell did you do to him?!" Alexis demanded.
"What I did?" "Titan" mocked, "I did nothing, this is your doing!"
"The hell does that mean!" Cyber Blader yelled out.
"When I lose Life Points, he will be consumed by the Shadow Realm." He replied.
Alexis froze up as the two Cyber Dancers gasped out, "Th-that's not fair!" Tutu yelled out.
"You said you would restore his mind if I won!" Alexis shouted, tears forming in her eyes.
"I agreed to restore his mind." "Titan" replied, "But I never said he would be safe from the Shadow Realm!" he then points towards Alexis, "Now are you going to continue the duel and damn your brother to the Shadow Realm, or do you forfeit and become my vessel for my revenge?!"
"That is such Bullshit, I'm able to smell it!"
The sudden snarl made everyone gasp out. Cyber Blader, Tutu, and Alexis looked behind her. Coming down the stairs, Gahlot huffed out, holding a bloodied shoulder.
"Gahlot?!" Alexis gasped out.
"HOW THE HELL DID YOU GET DOWN HERE?!" "Titan" demanded in a very demonic voice.
A few minutes earlier, as the copies of the Necrofiends unleashed wild sword swing after swing as the Skull Necrofiends blasted their streams of lightning, both Kroluhaal and Mindokah groaned and grunted as they kept the Barriers up.
"I-I never held the Barrier f-for this long, under enemy attack!" Mindokah groaned out.
"You're only blocking four lightning strikes!" the Mage grunted out, "I'm blocking twelve swords!"
"Well, eight swords and four daggers." Drake pointed out.
"NOT NOW!" everyone roared at the Recruit.
Draco looked around for an opening, but they were cornered. He then looked up and noticed what seemed to be a star suddenly glowing brighter, realizing it was an attack.
"Everyone, brace the Barriers!" he yelled out. He and the other Dragon Guards then placed a hand on each other forming a chain as a sudden energy beam blasted down and slammed into the Magical Barrier, while Mindokah and the Guards that linked with her groaned out, the blast also caused the twelve Necrofiends to fly back. As for the lightning bolts, the four streams suddenly shot upward as a large sword impaled the ground and continue to absorb the bolts.
"Well, something stopped the attacks." Rovit spoke up as he pants softly.
"Yeah, but what stopped them?" Vahraniik asked.
Draco looked up to the sky again and saw four figures descending and two came crashing in front of the Barriers, the other two came to stop, blowing dust with the gust of wind they whipped up. Draco looked at the new figures, recognizing them.
"Iilahnuv?" Draco asked, seeing the large dark armored dragon with water coating its wings and tail. Looking at the others seeing a large purple scale with a grey under-belly, and four dark purple feather wings, the only armor being a chest piece matching the purple scales with a golden trim and holding to magical orbs, another armored dragon, wearing pure silver as it slowly unsheathed a sword, glaring at the undead, and the final dragon, wearing full armor, golden trim with a pale blue base, with bright neon lights of lightning coursing through the armor as he held two large swords as lightning bolts shot from them.
"Stahdim, Stavahvulon, Strunqah?!"
"All of the fusion Dragon Guards?!" Drake asked.
Draco looked over to Rith as he began to sign, "You told me to get everyone that was available."
The Holy Dragon Guard raised a sword before pointing it at the small army of undead, "Dein daar Dostoz ahst vaal!" Stahdim roared out, "Dreh ni kriin niin!" ("Keep these Fiends at bay! Do not slay them!")
The three large dragon roared out as Strunqah suddenly flashed behind the fiends, followed by a boom of thunder, all twelve of the Necrofiends had their legs sliced off, once they hit the ground, Stavahvulon's orbs began to shine and rotate around her as she began to draw out spell insignias, before vines wrapped around the twelve down fiends holding them down. The Skull Necrofiends let out a gruesome snarls as their arms shock off the vines and began to crawl towards the Barriers, causing the Spell Assassin to bare her fangs.
"Meydahmiik sivaas!" Stavahvulon hissed out. ("Troublesome beasts!")
Iilahnuv flew overhead and fired a beam of moonlight, slicing into the ground, and passing the arms of the Skull Fiends before shrill shrieks were heard as their arms were blasted off, to which Stavahvulon rebind them with the vines.
"Gahlot!" Draco slightly growled as she turns still holding her bleeding shoulder, "Get into the dorm and find Alexis!"
"Hold on, let me heal that wound." Vahraniik spoke up, going towards Gahlot to heal the stab wound in her shoulder.
"Vahraniik, there isn't time!" Draco snarled, "Plus, she abandoned Dad's orders which is why we are in this situation to begin with!"
Gahlot slightly hissed as she flew off, leaving the Barriers heading to the open door of the Abandoned Dorm, before stopping as she noticing a sinister red barrier blocking her way, "For fuck sake! A Hell Barrier?!"
Stahdim came up to the barrier, thrusting his silver sword into it, before it began to glow dimly, "Shun Kaag!" he roared out, causing the sinister red became a bright yellow, before it vanished. ("Cleansing Blast!")
Once the barrier was gone, Gahlot quickly rushed in, she looked around, holding her shoulder as she hissed out from the pain.
"He could have at least let the Grand Healer stop the bleeding!" she thought to herself, as she began to head to the basement, getting closer as she noticed torches lighting the area, which lead up to the current event.
"Only you and Alexis are affected with this Shadow Game!" Gahlot hissed out, "Atticus can't be harmed no matter what!"
"I control this Shadow Game!" "Titan" roared out, "I decide who pays the price and how!"
Gahlot just huffs, before looking or rather glaring where Atticus was chained, "Vostavek!" she roared out ("Dispel!"), causing both Alexis and "Titan" to groan out as the roar thundered in the chamber, but caused the dark mist to dissipate as the torches began to light up the chamber and revealing that Atticus was still in one piece.
"Trying to trick Alexis into forfeiting this Shadow Duel by saying her brother will pay the price if you lose?" Gahlot panted out slightly, "That is so fucking low! Just like taking her as a hostage to lure Draco here the last time!"
Alexis looked at Atticus before glaring at "Titan", "You!" the slightly hissed, her voice dripping with venom, "How dare you try and threaten my brother and trick me into losing this Duel!" she looked through her hand, and glanced at one card pulling it out, "I summon Cyber Gymnast!"
Alexis slammed her third monster on to the field causing a muscular dark tan woman, wearing a dark purple skintight suit, that pass the hips become black, long bright blonde hair held up in a ponytail, and wearing a full simple white face mask as she stood on the field.
Cyber Gymnast

"Ha! What does that pathetic creature supposed to do?!" "Titan" demanded, mocking the move.
"I discard one card from my hand to activate my Gymnast's Special Ability!" Alexis called out, "I can destroy one monster you control!"
"What was that?!"
Alexis took a card from her hand and sent it to the Graveyard, which in turn caused the Gymnast's legs to glow with powerful aura, "Now, destroy that Picador Necrofiend!"
Cyber Gymnast then began to run across the field, then began to perform a few front flips, before switching to backflips, landing on her hands about two meters from the Necrofiend, Gymnast pushed off her hands, performing a few midair flips, before landing on top of the skeletal rider of the skeletal horse, and they both get crushed into the ground, turning to dust.
Cyber Blader
ATK/4200-2100
"Now to make you pay!" Alexis yelled out, "Cyber Blader attack his Terrorking!"
"With pleasure." She replied, before skating across the field and raised a leg, rapidly spinning, slashing into the skull of the zombified fiend, causing it to fall to pieces.
"Gymnast, Tutu!" Alexis called out, "Attack directly!"
The muscular Gymnast looked over her shoulder, glaring at the tall man, just as the young pink hair dancer leaped over Gymnast, slamming both of her feet into "Titan's" chest in a graceful drop kick, causing him to stumble back.
"Titan" LP: 3000-2000
Gymnast then looked over at "Tatin", before flipping herself and slamming her foot into the top of "Titan's" head, causing him to groan out and take a knee from the impact.
"Titan" LP: 2000-1200
"Alright that ends my turn." Alexis told him. "Titan" on the hand began to chuckle wickedly as he drew his card and his Terrorking returned, Alexis and her Monsters began to feel uneasy by "Titan's" chuckling.
"It's time that I make you suffer!" he snarled out, "I activate my Ritual Spell, Ritual of the Matador!" The spell "Titan" just played showed what appears to be the inside of a large creature, as the ground and walls were nothing but flesh and with the addition of the large spinal cord running through the ceiling, but the most frightening of the card, a humanoid figure was seen to be raising from the ground, dripping with blood.
"I don't like the looks of that card." Tutu muttered.
"Don't worry." Blader replied, "Whatever it can do, nothing will happen if he gets more monsters out."
"I tribute my Terrorking Necrofiend with the Banderillero Archfiend in my hand!" he announced. The second monster appeared on the field, revealing a serpent-like creature with a monstrous face and wings near the top of the creature, before both of them were suddenly consume by the ground as it became flesh.
"Now I can shed this worthless shell." He continued, getting Alexis, her monsters and Gahlot to look at him, before they started to hear him groan out, followed by the sound of the trench coat as well as flesh being torn.
"Oh, you have got to be fucking kidding me." Gahlot hissed out.
"What?" Alexis asked looked back at her.
"You haven't been dueling that bastard Titan, You've been dueling—" she was unable to finish as "Titan's" body suddenly ripped apart, revealing the same blue humanoid as the spell card, red membrane wings, but the chilling part of this creature, an open rib cage that seems to open and close at will, revealing Titan's decomposing face, with the Shadow Charm still engraved into the flesh.
"I am now on the field! Tremble before the power of Archfiend Matador!"
Archfiend Matador

Alexis looked stun for a second, seeing the new monster having no Attack Points, "Don't get fooled a second time." Gahlot growled out, "A mid-level Monster with no Attack? There has to be a Special Ability."
"Yeah, that's right." Alexis thought, "I was about to make the same mistake when I dueled Draco's mother."
"My turn ends." Matador proclaimed, "Now the start of your true suffering has begun."
Alexis drew her card, giving it a look her eyes slightly widen, "Machine Angel Ritual?!" she thought, looking through her hand, "Damn it, if only I had a Cyber Angel in my hand, I could have turned this duel around."
"Alright, I'll switch all of my Monsters to Defense Mode." Alexis announced as she turned her cards sideways, in turn each of her Monsters began to take a knee and held their arms up to defend themselves, "And now I'll—"
"Attack with Cyber Tutu!" Matador proclaimed, suddenly Tutu became enshrouded with a black aura as she grunted out and struggled against her own body as she changed her stance.
"What the hell are you talking about?!" Alexis shouted, "Cyber Tutu is my Monster, you can't order my cards to attack!"
"That is where you are wrong, foolish mortal!" Matador snarled, "It's my Special Ability, I can force one of your Monsters on YOUR turn to attack me."
"But you have zero Attack Points!" Alexis pointed out.
"It's got to be another Special Ability!" Gahlot snarled.
"Now, Cyber Tutu, ATTACK ME!" Matador ordered, Tutu yelled out as the strange aura moved her body forcing her to strike an elegant kick to the side of the Archfiend's head, he just smirked as he eyes started to glow bright red and shot two beams that went through Tutu as she gasped and groaned out before the same beams hit Alexis causing her to groan out and rip apart the rest of her blazer leaving only her sports bra, before she fell to her knees.
Alexis LP: 2800-1800
"Wh-what the hell was that?!" She gasped out.
"Aren't you paying attention?!" Matador snarled out, "You take any damage from attacking me! As well," Tutu crashes to the ground with the two holes in her chest before the ground enveloped her in a fleshy cocoon, "the Monster that attacks me is destroyed and transformed into a brand-new Archfiend!"
Alexis looked shocked as she began to shake at the realization, "He's-he's going to make Cyber Blader attack him during my next turn." She thought, "And he'll win."
"I take it it's my turn?" Matador chuckled darkly, taking a card from the vest and had it floating in front of him as the flesh cocoon began to violently move, before it ripped open and Tutu emerged from it and slow stood up, revealing her light pink hair had gotten darker and her skin-tight jumpsuit began nothing but straps that barely covered her breasts and crotch and she now had two bat-like wings on her back and long dark blue tail ending in a heart shape point, she then turned and faced Alexis as she gave a wicked smirk and a seductive chuckle.
"Allow me to introduce you to, Succubus Tutu." Matador snarled wickedly.

"Hey Tutu!" Gymnast shouted, "Why the hell are you looking so smug helping that bastard?!"
Tutu just smirked as she suggestively leans forward as she gropes her breasts, "With how pleasurable this power makes my body," she replied with a slight moan, "how could I not enjoy it?"
"Now Succubus Tutu, attack directly!" Matador ordered.
"What?!" Alexis gasped.
"If that thing has Tutu's Ability, she can't attack directly!" Cyber Blader yelled out.
"When do Fiends play by mortal rules?" Matador taunted.
Tutu, using her new wings, glide over the field before vanishing in a puff of dark pink smoke. Gymnast and Cyber Blader looked around for the attack, Gahlot on the other hand, knew it where she was going to pop up behind Alexis.
"Wait, did that bastard say, 'Succubus Tutu'?" She thought, before her eyes widened just as the smoke reappeared behind Alexis, "Ah, shit!"
Alexis let out a started yell as her chest was suddenly groped as the fiendish form of her Monster began to play with her breasts through the sports bra, "Why are you fighting this, Alexis?" she asked in a very teasing and seductive tone, "Just surrender and you'll see how fun being like this will be."
Alexis couldn't stop herself from moaning as Tutu leans to her neck with a wicked grin as she also lets out a more bestial moan, before grunting out as Gahlot bitched slapped her off of Alexis, causing Tutu to tear into Alexis' sports bra, slightly exposing her as she moans out, collapse to her knees and covered her chest up as Tutu snarl and return to Matador's field.
Alexis LP:1800-800
"You fucking perverted, son of an imp!" Gahlot snarled out, "You were trying to use her own Monster to infect her with the Succubus Kiss!"
"He was going to do what?!" Gymnast demanded.
"He was going to try to turn Alexis into a Fiend outside of the Duel if she won!" Gahlot responded.
"WHAT?!" Blader gasped.
"It's how they spread themselves." Gahlot explained, "Since Succubus can only be summoned, a mortal turned Succubus is one bond to the mortal realm." She then turns back to Alexis, taking a hold of her arm and pulled her to her feet, Gahlot then let out a pain hiss as she used her wounded arm, "As for you! Finish this asshole off!"
"B-but he'll just use his A-Ability to have Cyber Blader attack and win." Alexis stammered.
"To think, not only did you duel the Young Prince to use Fusions, but you also gained the respect of the Dragon Queen!" Gahlot snarled, "And now here you are on your knees in front of a creature lower than Humans, and you dare call yourself Draco's mate?!"
Alexis looked at the dark dragoness in shock, "What do you think he would tell you if he saw you like this?!"
Alexis looked at the angry but determined Dragoness, before glares back and nods her head, "Alright, I draw!" Alexis yelled out drawing her card, "I activate Graceful Charity! I get to draw three cards and then discard two cards!"
She drew the three cards and smiled as she noticed two of the three, she drew, "Alright I'll discard two of the three I just drew." Sending the two cards to the Grave, Alexis was suddenly enveloped by light.
"What the hell did you just do?!" Matador demanded.
"The two cards I discard, were Cyber Angel's Gift!" she replied, "If they get sent to the grave from my hand, I will gain Life Points equal to the strongest Monster on the field, which happens to be Cyber Blader with her 4200 attack!"
Alexis LP:800-5000-9200
"I use my Special Ability to have that bitch attack me!" Matador snarled, as Cyber Blader became enveloped by the same aura Tutu was as she began to change to Attack Position.
"I'll use this Quick-Play Spell in my hand, De-Fusion!" Cyber Blader started to shine brightly before the two monsters that formed her jumped back and gracefully landed on Alexis' field.

The ice skater glides across the field and began to spin elegantly and sliced through Tutu as she lets out an eerie screech before shattering to pieces.
Matador LP:1200-800
"I'm going to end my turn." Alexis announced, "Since I know what will happen if I do attack."
Matador snarled as he drew the card from the vest and looked at it before chuckling with his demonic voice, "I activate my Spell card, Hellish Deal!"
He slid the card into the slot to activate it as it appeared on the field revealing a withering human hand and a demonic hand gripping each other, almost like United We Stand.
"What does that card do?" Alexis asked.
"What it does," Matador growled as he grins, before he suddenly appeared in front of Alexis, causing her to scream and Gahlot pulls one of her Sais out, "First off, you stay back!" he snarled blasting her into an old pile of tables and chairs, he then turns back to Alexis, "This Spell card forces you to agree to deal." He said.
"What deal?" Alexis demanded.
"It all depends on my field." Matador replied. "If I have a DARK Attribute Monster, the deal can be about your monsters. If I have an Archfiend card on my field, it'll be about your Life Points. But if I have Dark Arena Activated, then you can't reject the deal!"
Gahlot grunts and snarls as she pushes herself to her feet, glaring at Matador, "The fuck did you say?!" she snarled out, "You have all three of those conditions!"
The blue fiend just gives an evil grin, "Now the deal." He snarled. "First off; you can no longer play Level 6 Monsters for the remainder of this Duel."
"What the hell?! You coward!" Etoile snapped.
"She can't summon Cyber Blader or Cyber Prima!" Blade Skater added.
"It's worse than that." Gymnast stated, "She can summon the Level 6 Cyber Angels."
"And as for the Life Points," Matador continued as he outstretched his arm, since his Field Spell will force the deal, "We will exchange them. Your Life Points becomes mine and mine becomes yours."
"Wh-what?!" Alexis gasped.
"That means that bastard's Life Points are 9200 and Alexis' will be 800?!" Gymnast questioned.
"Do we have a deal?" Matador asked Alexis, watching as her right arm became shrouded in a dark aura and began to raise up, Alexis grunted out trying to stop herself, but his combination of Spell cards forced her to grip his hand, which in turn caused her to yell out in pain as three small red energy beams shot from her arm into Matador's as he began to grin and cackle.
Matador LP:800-9200
Alexis LP:9200-800
Alexis fell to her knees again as she pants out from the sudden pain. Matador returned to his field as he smirks at Alexis' suffering, but mostly noticing she was now only in her sports undergarments.
"Let's get you into something more suited for you." He growled out, taking a card from his hand, "I activate the Equip Spell card, Cursed Fiend Artifact: Lust Armor!"
The card appearing on the field was a strange armor of thin, flexible metal similar to what Tutu wore when she became a Fiend, the card began to shine. Alexis shielded her eyes from the bright light, trying to see what was happening before she suddenly felt something latching to her body, as the light faded, Alexis blushed heavily as she noticed the armor from the card was now on her body. Barely covering her and very exposing her body.
"Wh-what the hell is this?!" she gasped, "Why the hell is an Equip Spell card on me?!"
"You thought it's a card for Monsters?" Matador taunted, "I told you, that you'll be my new vessel. So, you'll look the part!"
"you're changing her into a Succubus, while dueling?!" Gahlot roared out, as she struggles to stand, before groaning and falling to a knee, she then looks down and noticed she had a piece of lumber sticking out of her body, more precisely, where the liver was located, "Gah, d-damn it!"
"Indeed, I am." He responded, "When I activate all three Curse Fiend Artifacts, you will lose the duel! My turn ends."
Alexis began to panic as she drew her card, her eyes widen as she drew Cyber Prima, "Thanks to that damn deal of his, I can't summon her." She thought.
"by the way," Matador snarled in an amused tone, "the Lust Armor will activate it's Ability if you draw a monster."
Alexis gasped as her card just vanished from her hand and a transparent appeared on the field, "Ah, a Level 6 Monster." Matador snickered, "Well, it seems two Abilities activate."
"What do you mean, Bastard?!" Gymnast demanded.
"The first, she will take 100 damage to her Life Points equal to the Level." The armor Alexis wore began to glow and then Alexis began to scream out in pain as she felt the armor zapping her, but then her screams began to turn into moans.
Alexis LP:800-200
"Wh-what the fuck?" Alexis gasped as she panted out from the zap, "Why the hell did I moan?!"
"That's the power of the Lust Armor." Matador taunted, "Any magical pain will turn to pleasure for you."
Alexis panted out, now terrified what she would become if she was to lose the duel, "Now then, since your card was a Level 6 Monster the Armor has another Ability activating." Matador continued, "You're Monster you just drew becomes my next Fiend."
Fleshy tendrils shot from the ground, wrapping around the transparent Cyber Prima and pulled her to the ground as a flesh cocoon or pod appeared on Matador's field, "However, this one will take three turns." He let out a snarling chuckle, "But I don't have to wait three turns. Cyber Gymnast, I order-" he was suddenly caught off as if he was choking on his words.
"What's going on?" Etoile asked.
"I order-" Matador snarled again, and once more began to act like he was choking, before falling to his hands and knees and vomited black bile from his fiendish mouth.
"Oh, that's fucking gross!" Etoile groaned.
"It does look like he is choking on his words." Gymnast pointed out.
"But why and how?" Skater asked, just as Matador threw his head back, snarling out, as another groan was heard and everyone let out a startling yell or gasp, seeing Titan's decomposing face moving.
"Ok, that's fucked up." Gahlot hissed.
"End your turn!" the face yelled out, startling Alexis, "Hurry! I can't fight him off for much longer!"
Gahlot's eyes snapped and winced from her pain as she realized what was happening, "Alexis!" she roared out, getting her to turn around, "Titan is fighting for control! End your turn before Matador can order your monster to attack him!"
Alexis snapping back to reality, she quickly looked to her field, "I end my turn!" she announced.
Matador snarled out as the ribcage around the Titan's face opened up and then slammed around him, piercing him at every angle as he yells in agony.
"Titan!" he snarled out, "How dare a pathetic mortal interfere in MY duel!"
"That 'pathetic mortal' was able to overpower you!" a voice yelled into the chamber, everyone turned to the stairway that lead to the underground ritual chamber. Draco stood at the bottom panting heavily just the other Dragon Guards came down and blocked the only exit of the chamber.
"Draco!" Alexis cried out, slightly overjoyed to see him.
"HOW THE FUCK DID YOU GET DOWN HERE?!" Matador demanded as he roared in rage.
A few minutes earlier as the last of the Necrofiends was finally pinned down, "Tolro laat gein." Stahdim announced. ("That's the last one.")
"Do tiid." Strunqah snarled, "Daar truk nunon dreh mindok vir wah vuth vomulhaan." ("About time. Those things just don't know how to stop moving.")
Inside the twin Barriers that protected the rest of the Dragon Guards and Draco, watching the Fusion Guards bind down the twenty Fiends all sighed in relief.
"Alright, Mindokah, Kroluhaal?" Draco asked them, "Go ahead and lower the Barriers."
"Are you sure, Draco?" Mindokah asked, "That Necromancer is still up there fighting."
"We all managed to catch our breaths." Draco told them, "Besides, if we can get that bastard down here, we can surround him."
"Heh, a good time to try this chained throwing knife out." Vonzun chuckled as he pulled a knife from his satchel.
Silziigaaf locked his blade with the staff of the Necromancer, before pushing him back and then swung his blade upward, getting the Fiend to stumble as the staff was knocked out of his hands. Sheathing his blade, as in turning it into a soul, he then grabbed the staff and effortlessly snapped it in half, before reforming his sword once more. The Necromancer tried to cast a spell, before a knife thrusted from his chest and suddenly opened up and anchored into his chest. Silziigaaf stopped and noticed the knife. They both look behind the Necromancer seeing a chain that lead down to Vonzun, as he then gripped the chain with both hands.
"Wait, is Vonzun really going to?" Draco began to think.
"GET OVER HERE!" Vonzun roared out, pulled hard on the chain. The Necromancer was pulled from the roof and slammed into the ground as the other Guards surrounded him, Silziigaaf leaped from the roof and landed in front of the Necromancer. Draco however, stared at the Spy in disbelief.
"Really?!" he asked, getting Vonzun's attention, "You quoted Scorpion?!"
"And why not?" Vonzun asked, "That ninja is badass."
"I do have to agree with the Young Prince." Kinbok stated, "That wasn't professional of you to quote a Video Game character, WHILE protecting the heir of the Royal Bloodline."
Vonzun jerked the chain, causing the anchored knife to fold up and pulled from the Necromancer. The Archfiend looked around as the Gatekeeper pointed his sword at his throat.
"Gahviik, banaak!" he snarled as his blade began to glow. ("Surrender, scum!")
"I told you," he snarled back, "YOU CAN'T KILL ME!" the Necromancer then plunged his hands into his chest and ripped open his chest, as the other Necrofiends began to weather to dust and were being absorbed into the Necromancer's chest, he then extends his hands, and everyone frozen in place.
"Gah! Wh-what the fuck?!" Dinok roared out.
"I'll take all of your souls!" the Necromancer yelled out. Suddenly a bolt of red lightning shot from the sky, striking the Necromancer. He let out a banshee like shriek. Everyone suddenly dropped, being free from whatever happened to them as they stared at the Necromancer as he began to fry from the strange lightning bolt. After thirty seconds, the bolt stopped, and the Necromancer just stood in place as his body smoked. Silziigaaf looked at the burned foe, before swinging his sword, slicing through the throat and then, the body became dust in the wind as it was blown away.
"Ok, what just happened?" Vahraniik asked.
"Not sure." Kinbok replied, "But it disintegrated him. Gatekeeper, did he say anything during your fight?"
"Nunon tol vorey Dostoz vust krii mok." He replied. ("Only that another Fiend could kill him.")
"So, that lightning strike," Draco theorized, "it had to be from Skull Archfiend of Lightning? But, why was it red?" He then noticed a creature on the roof, shrouded by the darkness of night, before it vanished from another red lightning bolt.
"Sire?" Rovit spoke up, snapped Draco's thoughts back as he looks at the Scout, "We should head inside to make sure your mate is alright."
"Yeah, you're right." He replied, "Everyone let's get inside! Stahdim, you and the other Fusion Guards stay out here and make sure not another Necromancer follows us!" The Holy Guard nods his head, as Draco and the others ran into the Dorm.
The Present time, "So, yeah. We defeated your servant!" Draco snarled out. Matador glared daggers at Draco, "Now if I were you, hurry up with your turn before you get skipped!"
Matador quickly looked down to the Dueling Vest, seeing only ten seconds, which vanished when he drew his card, "I activate Hellish Barrier!" Matador snarled as he slid the card into a slot as the image showed a Terrorking behind a blood red barrier.
"Oh great, that damn barrier again!?" Gahlot hissed out.
"What does that card do?" Alexis asked.
"It prevents you from attacking him, while he controls a Fiend Monsters." Kroluhaal explained.
"Well, great she can't attack that weak monster?" Draco asked.
"It has Special Abilities, Draco!" Alexis told him.
"Like what?"
"To start off," Gahlot groaned out, "that bastard doesn't take the damage from the battles, Alexis does."
"What the hell?!" Draco questioned.
"Secondly," she continued, "the Monster is destroyed after attacking him, and then he gets a Fiend form of that Monster."
"Well, good thing she can't attack now." Dinok growled.
"Again, wrong." Gahlot replied before coughing up blood and inhaled deeply to continue, "During Alexis' turn, he can force one of her Monsters to attack."
"Wait, then that mean!" Draco said piecing everything together.
"She doesn't attack me," Matador snarled, "I attack myself during her turn!"
He began to cackle out as Draco bared his teeth and clenched his fist in anger, "Not that that matters." He continues, "When she draws a card, my Lust Armor will deal damage to her!"
"Only if it's a Monster!" Gahlot roared out before groaned from the lumber in her liver, "Oh fuck this!" she hissed, then pulled the lumber out as she groans loudly as her blood poured out of the wound.
"Gahlot are you insane?!" Vahraniik snapped.
"Come on, Alexis!" Draco called out, "I know you have a monster to turn this duel around and beat him!"
Alexis looked at Draco, seeing the determination in his eyes and gave a confidant nod, "My turn is over human!" Matador snarled, "Draw your last card, so then you'll damn yourself to the Shadow Realm!"
Alexis took a deep breath as she placed a hand on her deck, "Draco believes in me!" she yelled out, "That's all I need to kick your ass!" she drew the card and looked at it, smiling, "Seems your Armor doesn't activate this time, I activate Pot of Greed!"
"You fool!" Matador taunted, "If you still draw a Monster, you'll steal lose Life Points!"
"I call your bluff!" Alexis snapped back, causing the blue fiend to stumble back, "I think your Lust Armor only works during my Draw Phase! As you stated with when you attacked me directly with Tutu, 'When do Fiends play by mortal rules?'! You've been lying for most of the duel!" Alexis drew her two cards and glanced at there and smiled, adding them to her hand and took another one out, "I activate Cyber Angel Ritual!"
The card appearing on the field showed, a strange, robed woman preforming a ritual dance in front of a large mechanical structure with a large fire pit burning fiercely.
"I tribute, Cyber Gymnist with Cyber Angel Idaten!" Alexis continued as the second monster for the tribute appeared transparent, before both of them were enveloped by a bright light.
"Y-you can't be summoning a powerful Monster!" Matador stammered, "Our Hellish Deal! You can't use-"
"The 'Deal' was I can't summon Level 6 Monsters." Alexis snapped back, "You never said anything above that! I Ritual Summon Cyber Angel Dakini!"
A silhouette of the Monster began to raise from the light, revealing it to have four arms, two of which held a sword in each and the other two held a bo staff. The Light faded to reveal the monster being blue skinned, wearing gloves on each hand, an orange chest piece while the waist was a skintight dark blue with bright yellow trims and a large yellow head piece, she gracefully stood her ground and looked at the Matador with a disgust expression.

"I'm afraid you are wrong!" Alexis snapped back, smiling, "First since I tributed Idaten for the Ritual, Dakini gains one-thousand Attack Points!"
Cyber Angel Dakini

"And I will use Dakini's Special Ability!"
"Special Ability!?" Matador snarled, "That's right, one Monster you control is sent to the Graveyard, by your choice!" Alexis declared, "And as I see on your Dueling Vest, that Transforming pod that Cyber Prima is in isn't on your field, meaning you go to the Grave!"
Dakini straighten the bo staff holding it in one hand as she then raised the now free hand towards him, "Sacred Removal!" Dakini yelled out before a beam of light shot from her palm, blasting Matador as he snarls and then screeches out as he was reverted back to the Fiendish Titan body.
"You bitch!" he snarled, "You think you are clever?! I can still revive myself from the grave and take back control of the field!"
"No, you won't." Alexis replied, taking another card from her hand, "I activate the Equip Spell card, C. A. W. Holy Halberd!"
"'C. A. W.'?" Draco asked, "What does that stand for?"
"If I were to guess," Koraavnu spoke up, "I believe it stands for 'Cyber Angel Weapon'."
Everyone slightly yelped and jumped back, "Koraavnu?! When did you get here?!" Drake asked.
"Thirty seconds ago." The Blind Sage replied with a smile.
"he is right, and what it does, it doubles my Cyber Angel's attack power!" Alexis stated, as Dakini's bo staff changed into a decorative weapon as the blade head was had holy sigils engraved into the metal.

"No, no, NO!" Matador thought to himself, "I will not let this human defeat me, an Archfiend!" "I use my Hellish Barrier's second Ability!" he proclaimed, "I pay half of my to summon a Archfiend or Necrofiend and it can't be destroyed this-" once more he was interrupted as he dropped the cards in hand and grip his head before yelling out in pain as some of them pulsing veins began to throb or shrink, retreating into the Mask.
"Is Titan fighting again?" Draco asked, before watching the fiend began to pull the Mask off, revealing the flesh under it was almost devoured leaving a bloody mess, "That's messed up!"
"Do it!" Titan yelled out.
"DAMN YOU TITAN!" Matador snarled, both voiced coming from the same mouth.
"Attack and end this nightmare!"
Alexis gulped before pointing at the struggling creature, Dakini, Blade Skater, Etoile Cyber, attack him directly!" Alexis ordered as all three of her Monsters began to glide across the field. Blade Skater being the first to slash her forearm blades across Titan's chest, leaving large gashes as two voiced yelled out in pain.

She then pulls the weapon out as the possessed body then coughed up red blood, shocking Dakini and Alexis slightly.
Matador/Titan LP:6600-0
"Th-thank you." Titan replied weakly as he fell to the ground, landing in black blood of the Archfiend. Then the blood began to bubble as the body began to sink into it, the three Monsters jump back. As the body vanished into the black substance, the rock formation of the Dark Arena began to crack, rumble and crumble apart, and the flesh pod burst open as Prima gasped out, covered in goop, hoping it's goop, panting out in shock.
"Ok, can someone explain to me why the fuck I was in a flesh pod?!" she demanded, before slightly screaming as a large rock fell behind her, getting out the pod and joining the others just as the chamber returned to normal and the puddle of blackness shrunk and vanished, leaving the Shadow Charm Mask behind. Alexis fell to her knees, shaken up as the Lust Armor vanished reverting back to her sports undergarments. Draco walked over to her, placing his blazer over her shoulders as she gasped out and quickly looked at him.
"Are you alright, Alexis?" Draco asked her, before she began to tear up.
"I-I just k-killed someone." She muttered, before leaning into Draco's arms, and began to cry, "He c-coughed up normal blood a-after Dakini re-removed her weapon from h-his chest. I-I killed someone!"
Silziigaaf let out a loud growling huff as he walked over to where Titan fell, which Draco noticed, "What is it, Silziigaaf?" he asked, as he held and helped Alexis to stand up.
The Gatekeeper held his hand out as a small blueish orb rose from the stone ground and began to take a large form, revealing it to be Titan.
"Titan?" Draco questioned, getting Alexis to gasp and looked at the ghostly apparition.
"I could not cross over without setting her mind at ease." He replied, "While I did previously make a deal with the Archfiends to attack you, boy. Being plunged into the Shadow Realm, the torment I begged for any form of release from that realm."
"So, Matador heard you pitiful begging?" Dinok mocked.
"Dinok!" Draco snarled out, glaring at the Berserker.
"It had." Titan replied, "But he didn't tell me, I was going to lose everything to come back."
"Yeah." Gahlot hissed as she held her wounds, "Fiends tend to not tell mortals the whole deal."
"But I had to tell her," he continued looking at Alexis, "that you didn't kill me, you saved me from that nightmare."
Alexis looked at him as she wiped her eyes of tears, "Y-you mean?"
"Just as I stated." Dakini spoke up, "One soul forever in the Shadows, the other spared."
"And another thing," Titan said, "as promised, your brother will have all of his memories restored."
Alexis lightly gasped as she looked over to Atticus, still unconscious on the ground. Silziigaaf made his weapon appear and prepared to strike with it.
"Hey, what are you doing, Silziigaaf?!" Draco ordered.
"Rok tul vorohah sent doth daar Dostoz." He growled, "Rok nis haav faal Hiim do faal Dilon." ("He still made a deal with those Fiends. He cannot enter the City of the Dead.")
"So what?" Draco asked, "You're just going to take his soul into your sword?!"
"If that is the price I have to pay for helping those creatures." Titan remarked, "I will accept it." He looked over to Alexis, "Do not burden yourself, young lady. You saved me from eternal torment."
Titan turned to the Gatekeeper as he stood there, and Silziigaaf, swiped his sword through the soul, as the two pieces began to be sapped into the twin waved blade. Afterwords, the Dragon Guards began to vanish one by one as the mission was complete, however Ronaan handed a pair of cloth pants.
"It's better than nothing." She told Alexis, before following the other guards.
After a while, Alexis, Draco, and Atticus left the dorm when he regains consciousness, and were surprised they met up with the rest of the Key Bearers and former Bearers.
"We heard a loud crash almost like it was thunder." Syrus told Draco.
"That could have been the weird red lightning that struck the Necromancer to dust." Draco explained, "The Shadow Rider used him to try to keep me from supporting Alexis."
"Well, it's a good thing you and Ms. Rhodes were successful in saving Mr. Rhodes." Crowler stated, and looked at Atticus, "And how are you feeling?"
"I-I'm alright, Dr. Crowler." Atticus replied, "I-I just can't believe the time that has passed and what I have done."
"Again, that wasn't your fault." Chazz stated, "It was that bastard Night Shroud."
"But still." He replied, "I was about to harm Alexis if I won that duel."
"Well, it would have been Night Shroud that would have won." Draco corrected, "But there was no way I was going to let the bastard and traitor win."
"Traitor?" Atticus asked.
"Fuck, right! He doesn't know!" Draco thought.
"Atticus." Alexis spoke up, "there is one question we need you to answer."
"And what would that be?" he asked.
"The night you vanished." She stated, "Do you remember what happened?"
Atticus began to think, slightly groaning as he remembered that night, "it was the monthly gathering." He started, "But what confused everyone was the fact, we were there early than normal."
"By that, do you mean time wise?" Mana asked, "Like two hours?"
"No, it was date early." Atticus replied, "We mostly have it at the end of each month, but we were called to the Elite Dorm mid-way through the month."
"Wait, called?" Bastion asked, "Someone called you to the Dorm?"
"Why yes." Crowler stated, "when the gathering of the Elite Dorm happens one of the staff members, a teacher mostly will be present at the Dorm."
Draco looked at Alexis as she did the same, "We are both thinking it, aren't we?" she asked.
"Yeah, whoever was in charge of that month's gathering is in league with the Shadow Riders." Draco replied, then looked at Atticus, "Atticus, do you remember who called the gathering?"
"Yeah, it was Prof. Banner." Atticus replied.
"WHAT?!" everyone gasped out.
In the Spirit World, "Are you serious?!" Kinbok asked.
"I heard the information myself." Vonzun replied, "I stayed behind, since I knew he would tell them."
Kinbok slumped in his chair as he was too shocked for words, "Th-that bastard, this whole time, he was spying on the Young Lord!"
"Your orders?"
"We are resting, afterwords, we'll return to the Prince's side to confront that traitor!"
Elsewhere in the Spirit World, Krono glared at Gahlot as she kneeled in front of him, still covered in her wounds from the Necrofiend battle.
"So, you abandoned your post?" he asked her.
"Yes, Sire." She replied.
"You put her life in danger as well as Draco's life!" he roared, "If you stayed at her side, he could have got into the Dorm and avoided that battle!"
Gahlot remained silent for a change as she stayed kneeling down and wincing to her pain, "You know what will happen now?" Krono asked her.
"Twenty lashes." She replied, "Five for abandoning my post under orders and fifteen for endangering the Young Prince."
"Be thankful I'm being merciful, Gahlot." He growled, "Gearfried! Kendaar!" a Gearfried with red markings and a knight wearing black armor entered the throne room, "Take Gahlot down to the courtyard! I'll be there shortly to give the punishment."
"Yes, Sire." They spoke and then began to help Gahlot to her feet and lead her out of the room. Krono sighed out before a Darkness Dragon approached him, giving a slightly stern look.
"What is it, Mother." Krono asked.
"She's been through enough." Yuvonved stated, "She was stabbed in the shoulder and even had lumber in her liver. Must she get twenty lashes from the bladed whip or from your Flame?"
"Everyone knows the punishment for disobey ordered from me or from Saffira." He replied.
"You need everyone at their full strength until the Sacred Beasts are taken care off." She stated.
Krono just sighed as he slumped in his throne, "I'll think about, Mother." He told her. The large dragon returned the sigh as she leans closer and then gently nuzzled into Krono.
"You never learn that one lesson." She told her son, "There is a time and place for punishment. When battle is about to happen is not the right time, wait until it is over."
"I know, I know." He told her.
Meanwhile in an unknown location shrouded in darkness, "I knew he would fail us!" the distorted voice sneered, "Four Keys remain, and you are the last one they have to defeat."
"Do not worry, sir." The second distorted voice replied, "I won't fail like them."
