"What?" Bonnie looked up at Damon, her thumb on her tooth.
He put a pancake on her plate before pointing at the crossword.
"Oh yeah, thanks."
"Welcome… oh wait, where is my kiss on the cheek?"
Damon bent down near her face. She could smell his cologne. It was like lavender and sandalwood. She liked it.
Bonnie giggled, feeling her heart swell. Bonnie poked his face with the eraser of her pencil.
"Those take a little more work."
Damon exaggerated a frown, turning to take a seat.
Bonnie ate a pancake, moaning audibly. Damon's eyebrow raised.
"Not enough."
