Approaching the training room, Team RWBY, along with Jaune, Nora, Ren, Qrow, and Oscar, saw Clover standing outside, waiting for them. Next to the room Clover was standing in front of, the group noticed a large metal shutter, cutting off access to what seemed to be another training room.
"Hey…Clover, right? I hope it's ok if I brought a few more people with me. Considering they all know the stuff as we do, I thought it was only fair that they'd get a chance to learn as well." Ruby argued in a kind but resolute voice.
"That's fine with me. We don't have to teach you one-on-one in order for you to understand all the nuances of Ki." Clover said in a pleasant tone.
While muted by the metal gate, the group could barely hear a voice coming from the closed off room.
"296…297…298…" The voice announced.
"Who's in there?" Jaune questioned.
"That's just Evan. He's just doing some gravity training." Clover explained as he walked up to the shutter.
"Keep it up, Evan! Elm knows that you can break your PB! Go for 400!" Clover shouted out encouragingly.
"Thanks Clover! I'll give it 110%! 299…300! 301…" Evan replied back loudly in an enthusiastic tone.
"Hold on!" Nora said aloud.
"You guys have gravity training here? I want to try!" Nora continued excitedly as she pushed past the other teens in the group.
Crouching down, Nora slid her fingers near the bottom of the shutter as her muscles strained to try and lift the metal barrier.
"Renny! Jaune! Help me get this darn thing open!" Nora ordered as she looked to her two teammates.
"Sorry, but that's not going to work. The shutter can only be unlocked and opened by turning off the gravity machine inside the training room." Clover stated to the orange-haired girl.
Besides, even if you could open the shutter and get inside right now, you'd probably be instantly crushed into a meat pancake by the pressure of the intense gravity. Evan comfortably works out at over 10 times the gravity of Remnant." Clover cautioned, causing the rest of the group to look stunned, aside from Nora who only got more excited.
"T-Ten times Remnant's gravity?! How could anyone even survive in those conditions!?" Jaune said in disbelief.
"Ki training not only makes you stronger and faster, but it also makes your body a lot more durable. Our whole team can easily survive 8 times the planet's gravity, along with Penny and Winter." Clover said to the group.
"Incredible." Ren mumbled out in awe as Nora got back on her feet as she approached the Ace Ops' leader.
"So what are we waiting for?! Let's get a crackin' and learn this stuff already!" Nora exclaimed enthusiastically.
Walking into the room, Ruby and the others saw Vine hovering a foot off the ground, in the midst of meditating, while Marrow was busy exercising close by. Leaning against the wall of the massive room, Elm was currently chugging a water bottle. Flying through the air, Penny and Winter were firing off Ki blasts at each other and dodging each other's attacks.
Seeing Ruby come in, Penny turned midair to greet her.
"Ruby! I'm-" Penny said as one of Winter's already launched Ki blasts sped toward her.
Reacting quickly, Penny deflected the Ki blast with one of her many swords. Gazing upward, Ruby and her friends watched the white Ki ball arc through the air before colliding with the ground and creating a small explosion in the process. Slowly lowering herself to the floor, Penny walked up to Ruby and gave her a hug.
"I'm glad you all could make it!" Penny finished as Ruby returned the gesture with her own hug.
Looking around, Yang noticed something was off.
"Hey, where's Harriet?" Yang questioned the Ace Ops.
"Don't worry about her, she's just getting some well-earned sleep, is all." Elm explained as she tightened the plastic cap on her water bottle before approaching the rest of the group.
"Anyway, you all ready to learn how to channel Ki?!" Elm continued loudly.
"Me! Me! I want to!" Nora replied as she raised her hand up like a student waiting for their favorite teacher to call on them.
"That's the spirit!" Elm shouted back excitedly as she pointed to the female teen.
"Ok. If we're to get started, then I'll first need all of you to sit down and relax. We found it was one of the best ways to unlock our Ki." Clover explained.
With Clover gesturing to Ruby and the gang to sit in front of the Ace Ops in a wide semi circle, Penny, Winter, Clover and the other Ace Ops looked around at everyone.
"Now then, does anyone have a semblance that can enhance their own physical abilities?" Clover asked the group.
"I can turn into rose petals and travel at super speeds. Once I turn my semblance off, I go back to being me." Ruby explained to Clover, who listened on with an intrigued look on his face.
"Any damage I take will be converted into pure strength. At any point, I can choose to channel all of the energy that I've saved up in a fight and use it for one big finisher." Yang added as she put her newly repaired robotic right hand on her muscular left arm for emphasis.
"Ok. Anyone else?" Clover asked the group.
"If I get hit by electricity, including lightning dust, I can become incredibly strong and fast for a brief bit!" Nora explained proudly.
"I don't know if this counts, but I can strengthen the aura of anyone that I'm touching. I can empower that person's semblance and exponentially increase the speed of their own aura's ability to heal them." Jaune stated in an awkward tone as Ren raised his voice.
"I don't mean to sound disrespectful, but what does knowing our semblances have to do with understanding how to use Ki?" Ren questioned Clover.
"You'd be surprised. While Evan was in Argus, we discovered in our training that we can enhance our semblances and bring them to new heights." Clover said as turned toward Ruby.
"For example, Harriet's semblance, much like Ruby's, grants her superhuman levels of speed. When she started combining it with Ki however, she was moving so fast she was completely invisible to us." Clover explained, causing Yang, Jaune, and Nora to straighten up in realization.
"So you're trying to get a grasp on our semblances so you can help us supercharge them…" Jaune mumbled out.
"You got it! Not only that, but we can individually focus your training to make your semblance stronger." Marrow cheerfully added as he looked at Yang.
"Like if we focus on the defensive aspects of your Ki, you'll be able to take more damage and have your semblance hit that much harder." Marrow continued.
"And even if your semblance doesn't directly make you physically stronger…" Winter stated as she stepped forward.
"We can still help you find new avenues that will aid you in battle." Winter continued as she created a summoning glyph close by.
Emerging from the glyph was an imposing, ten foot tall, silver and blue knight. Almost identical in appearance to the one that Weiss summoned and was easily destroyed by Lakasei back at the Tree of Might. The one outlier however was how the knight's body emitted a passive white light that hummed with energy.
"Vine, could you please demonstrate." Winter instructed.
Nodding, Vine put his hands together and began charging up a Crimson Cannon. Unleashing the attack on the knight, the group watched as the beam made impact with a blinding flash of light. As the group's vision returned, they saw how the knight miraculously managed to survive the onslaught.
"Now, while it's going to take some time before you all reach that point in training, we'll be here to help you every step of the way." Clover explained as he brought forth a ball of Ki in hands before quickly dispelling it.
"Now to start with, Vine here will show you all some simple exercises that will help you unlock your Ki. Feel free to ask questions if you're having trouble with it." Clover continued as Vine sat down in a meditative position.
"I want you all to imagine the center of your body like a great lake, its waters still and unmoving…" Vine said aloud.
/-/
"…397…398…." Evan said as he took in massive gulps of air in between each word.
"399…400!" Evan continued as the Saiyan finished his four hundredth handstand push-up.
Falling forward, Evan rolled and landed on his butt, tired from his intensive exercise.
Wiping the sweat on his palms off on his workout shorts, Evan looked to the gravity machine and saw the symbols listed on the display: "20g"
"Wow. Before, I was struggling to deal with 15 times gravity, but here I am working out in 20 times…I guess after everything that's happened recently, my body adapted and got stronger from all those near death experiences. But that's just Saiyan biology, I suppose." Evan contemplated as he unzipped his pocket and pulled out his scroll.
Scrolling through photos, Evan looked at the last few pictures sent yesterday by Ruby.
The seventh photo that Ruby took was a picture of most of the group in the back row of a movie theater. All of the overhead lights were turned off, and the movie screen was providing the only source of illumination in the room. From what Evan could see, the frame on screen was an animated old lady with gray hair and a blue dress standing next to a weird looking scarecrow as they stared up at a massive multi-legged building with numerous smokestacks poking out from the top of it.
Weiss, Jaune, and Oscar seemed to be the most invested in the movie. At the same time, Blake and Yang were in the midst of quietly giggling, holding hands while only half-watching the movie.
The next picture showed all of Team RWBY standing outside of some changing rooms in a clothing shop. While Ruby's outfit, consisting of reds, whites, and blacks, only had slight changes to what she was wearing before, the biggest change was how the hair near the back of her head and neck now had red highlights. Weiss's hair was in the same side ponytail style like it always was, but her clothes were significantly different.
Now predominantly in a white peacoat with black buttons and cuffs, the photo also showed Weiss wearing a skirt with black in the outfit's interior along with white thigh-high boots.
Yang's outfit also was different, now in a red-brown bomber jacket with khaki overalls, a black belt with gold trim, various golden zippers, orange sunglasses, and black boots. Tied around her right leg, near the top of the right boot, Evan saw a purple bandanna. The only aspect that Yang hadn't changed was her long yellow hair.
Blake's clothes had her in a black sleeveless keyhole that stopped near her waist, a white belt with gold trim, and long black pants with purple accents near her black boots. Her black hair remained as long as ever with her cat ears poking out from the top.
The photo has Ruby with a big grin on her face, her arms hanging from Yang and Weiss's shoulders. Standing on the other side of Yang was Blake who, like Weiss, had a small yet warm smile on their face. In addition, Yang was holding out her mechanical limb and was making a peace sign with it toward the camera.
The final picture sent from Ruby was a photo of a bowling alley with bright neon green and blue lighting. The scoreboard on the television above showed Ren, Yang, and Oscar as the ones with the three highest scores. Nora, Jaune, and Ren were chatting casually at a nearby table. Ruby was holding a red bowling ball and ready to throw it down the lane. In the back of the photo, Blake cheered Ruby on.
Scrolling to the last photo in his collection, this picture was taken using Evan's scroll instead. The image showed Evan and his Atlesian friends relaxing in the bar. On the table, most of the food had already been devoured earlier on in the night. Seeing everyone smiling, goofing around, or laughing their heads off filled the Saiyan with joy. Even though he was absent from it, Evan could so easily visualize his brother Toma in the image, chugging down a drink alongside him, Elm, and Clover.
Pressing a few holographic buttons, Evan saved the image as one of his scroll's wallpapers.
"Well, I think that's enough of a breather. I can't stop now while the iron's still hot!" Evan contemplated as he pocketed the scroll and quickly sprung to his feet.
Performing numerous backflips in a row, Evan crossed the large space with incredible speeds. Feeling the weight of the room press down on him, Evan fought through the pain and leaped into the air after performing another backflip. Fiercely punching and kicking at the space around him dozens of times in a matter of seconds, Evan hovered back down to the floor.
Charging up a Crimson Cannon, Evan let the laser loose, using his mastery of Ki to guide the attack around the room and direct it back towards himself.
As the red beam approached ever closer, Evan crouched down slightly. Then, just before the attack made impact, the teen jumped into the air.
"Now that I'm back in Atlas, I can use gravity training to push myself. If there is a level beyond that of a Super Saiyan, then I will find it and master it!" Evan thought to himself mid-training.
As the attack barely missed him, Evan redirected the beam to try and hit him again. Pushing against the powerful gravity, Evan dodged the attack once more. Doing so over and over, Evan continued until the Ki attack dissipated into nothing.
His whole body aching, Evan approached the console of the gravity machine and turned it off. As the metal shutter lifted up back into the ceiling, Despite his exhaustion, Evan proudly smiled at his progress.
Feeling his scroll vibrate Evan took the device out to find a message from Clover.
"I just got a message from the General. Seems like there's going to be a private ceremony held at Amity Colosseum tonight." Clover explained in text form.
"How big are we talking here? Do I need to wear a suit or something?" Evan inquired as he typed out a response.
"No, it'll just be us, your friends from Beacon, and a few others that will be attending." Clover continued.
"Ok. Thanks for letting me know!" Evan texted back.
"Anytime." Clover replied.
"A ceremony? What could it be for?" Evan pondered as he walked out of the training room.
/-/
Set near the edge of the main arena in Amity Colosseum, Evan gazed around at the small setup. There was a collection of foldout tables which had a collection of prepared meals in silver catering trays alongside drinks, plates and utensils. Sitting in the stands next to the arena, Evan sat in between his friends with the Ace Ops on his right and Ruby and the others on the left. Also attending the ceremony, Evan saw Maria, Pietro, and Qrow with the two former talking with each other.
Standing away from the food was the General with Penny and Winter at his either side of him.
Ironwood was wearing a dark blue shirt which was mostly covered by his large white coat and red tie. In addition to his white gloves, the General also wore long blue pants that hung over his black boots. His stubble, now grown out into a full blown beard, was well groomed and gave the General an air of wisdom and experience.
Similar to Ironwood, Winter wore dark blue pants, black boots, and a white coat, which differed by having gray designs along the collar and shoulders of the coat. Underneath the coat, Evan spotted a white shirt and blue tie as well. In her hands was some sort of holographic tablet.
"Ever since Beacon, you have consistently gone above and beyond the line of duty to protect the innocent and defend the Kingdoms from both the Grimm and even more insidious threats." Ironwood stated as he looked at Team RWBY, Jaune, Nora, and Ren.
"You've accomplished more in a few months then some hunstmen have done in years!" Ironwood emphasized.
"That's why I believed it was time that you were given titles more befitting your achievements." Ironwood continued as he turned his head toward Winter.
Giving an understanding nod, Winter pressed multiple digital buttons on the tablet as the teenagers' scrolls all went off and started to ring.
"As of today, you will all be promoted to become official hunstmen and huntresses!" Winter declared as the group looked down at their scrolls, which all showed a detailed and official huntsmen license with their respective names and self-portraits on the side.
Clapping happily, Evan and the others in attendance applauded the teens.
"Those licenses will give you all the same rights and responsibilities as any professional deployed hunstman or huntress." Winter explained.
"Congratulations!" Penny cheered as she created numerous holographic confetti and party crackers around her.
"I…I can hardly believe it. After all these years…" Yang said, her voice in a mixture of shock and growing happiness.
"It's finally here." Weiss finished as she looked down at her own scroll.
"You bet it is! You all kick so much ass! You for sure deserve all that and more!" Evan added enthusiastically.
"Alright, I'd say it's time we get this party started!" Evan exclaimed as he started to clamber out of his seat, his eyes directly on the food.
"Not yet. There is one more person here tonight that deserves praise." Ironwood interjected as he held up a hand before looking at Evan.
"Evan Anderson, could you please step forward." Ironwood instructed, surprising the young Saiyan.
Slowly walking up toward the General, Winter, and Penny, Evan saw that all three of them looked on at Evan with respect and admiration.
"Evan, even after suffering tremendous pain, it's because of your brave and noble actions against evil that we are still able to call this planet home. For that, you have my eternal gratitude." Ironwood said aloud as he briefly bowed to the teen.
"Because of this, I wanted to bestow you with something…Something I wholeheartedly believe you have earned." Ironwood continued.
"Clover, could you do the honors?" Ironwood asked as the sound of multiple people walking filled the quiet arena.
Turning around to the source of the noise, Evan saw Clover holding a wrapped package with the rest of the Ace Ops standing beside their leader. The wrapping paper of the gift was a simple red hue with a gold bow delicately tied around the front..
"Of course sir." Clover responded as his attention turned toward Evan.
"Evan, it is with the utmost pleasure that I offer you this…" Clover explained as he extended the gift out to the teen.
Carefully tearing the wrapping paper and opening the package, Evan found an all too familiar set of clothing.
"An Ace Ops uniform?" Evan questioned in disbelief.
"Your eyes aren't deceiving you. You are now an official member of the Ace Ops!" Clover stated happily.
"Welcome aboard kid!" Elm cheered as she pumped her fist in the air while quickly wrapping Marrow up in a close hug with her other arm.
"And don't go thinking that it was just Clover that thought you deserved to wear those colors!" Harriet declared.
"Indeed. This decision was unanimous!" Vine added with a smile on his face.
"You guys…Thank you." Evan replied warmly as he looked down at the white, red, and blue attire.
"I'll wear it with pride!" Evan shouted out joyfully as looked up at the Ace Ops.
"This is absolutely sensational! Way to go! You're an Ace Op now!" Penny declared as she smiled and created multiple, small, holographic fireworks around her.
"And an Ace Op deserves first dibs at the food I'd say." Marrow said pleasantly as he squeezed himself out of Elm's one-armed hug.
"Who am I to turn an offer like that down!? Just let me place this somewhere first." Evan stated as he headed back over to his seat. Placing the package down underneath the chair, Evan looked over at Ruby.
"Hey Ruby!" Evan called out, only to be met with silence.
As Evan approached the teen, he saw Ruby staring at her huntress license with tears now just forming in her eyes.
"Ruby? You alright?" Evan questioned with concern in his voice as he sat down next to her.
"W-What?" Ruby said in a startled tone as she broke her deep concentration.
"Oh, this?" Ruby explained as she pointed at her tears.
"Don't worry, these aren't what you think." Ruby continued with a smile on her face as she used her sleeve to wipe the tears away.
"It's just…even since I was a kid, I wanted to be a huntress just like my Mom, Summer Rose." Ruby elaborated fondly.
"The way they always heroically fought the Grimm and helped save people, it was like a story out of a fairy tale." Ruby argued.
"You know, sometimes, when me and Yang were really little, Uncle Qrow would sneak into the kitchen and give us some of Dad's special homemade double chocolate chip cookies before bedtime. We would get all hyper and when the fairy tale books were rented out at the town library, Mom would tuck us into bed and tell us all about her adventures out in the world. She met a lot of cool people, went to places we could barely imagine, and came out on top against horrifying monsters." Ruby said as she recalled the events and reminisced.
"Those stories helped to shape me into the person I am today. They made me want to become a huntress, to try and make the world a better place." Ruby stated.
"She sounds like a really great person." Evan replied kindly.
"Yeah…she was." Ruby explained as her nostalgic face shifted to a more sorrowful one.
"Oh, I'm so sorry." Evan tried to apologize as Ruby brushed it off.
"It's fine, you didn't know after all." Ruby added as she looked up at the broken moon and the night sky.
"She died when I was pretty young. No one knows what happened to her. All I know from my Dad is that one night, she told him that she had to go out on an urgent mission. After she left the house, she just…never came back. Qrow searched for her everywhere, but he couldn't find anything. After enough time had passed, we just had to…accept reality." Ruby explained.
"Those memories of her sitting on my bed, fluffing up my pillow, and weaving all these amazing tales that she actually went through are some of the only ones I have to remember her by." Ruby continued.
"If she were still alive…I wonder what she'd think of me now?" Ruby pondered aloud.
"I can't say much, like you said, I don't even know her. However, I think that she would probably be super proud that her two amazing daughters were able to grow up to be even more amazing people." Evan stated firmly as he wrapped an arm around Ruby's shoulder.
"Thanks, Evan." Ruby said in a calm and appreciative tone.
"Not a problem." Evan simply replied.
"Come on, the night's still young. I'd say let's party harder than anyone has in the history of partying! We both deserve it!" Evan added as he began to get up from his seat.
"You're right." Ruby responded with a nod as she immediately used her semblance to sprint toward the food filled tables in an instant.
"What!?" Evan shouted out in a bewildered tone as he watched Ruby start loading her plate with all sorts of goodies.
"Hey! Come on, you can't do that! You're going to snatch up all the good stuff!" Evan called out as a smile started to form on his face as he ran toward the tables.
"Sorry! First come, first served!" Ruby replied back as she stuck her tongue at him.

Two weeks later
Beep Beep Beep
"What the-" Prunze said in surprise as he read the information listed on the digital monitor in front of him.
Beep Beep Beep
"A call from Command Center Nu?! Why the hell are we getting a call from so high up on the food chain?" Prunze speculated as he pressed a green button installed on the monitor's side.
Instantly, the image on the monitor shifted to one filled with static.
"H-H-H…" A voice attempted to say, only for the computer's speakers to completely butcher the message.
"Oh, give me a second." Prunze explained as he pushed his chair away.
Getting underneath the desk, Prunze pulled out a screwdriver from his pocket and proceeded to reach up and unscrew the bolts of the massive computer's underside.
"At this point, I might as well leave this darn thing unscrewed if I have to do this 30% of the time that I get a call from another Space Station." Prunze contemplated irritatedly as he grabbed the unscrewed metal panel and placed it by his side.
Looking up at the busy circuit board, Prunze reached up and grabbed a yellow and red wire and brought them together. As sparks scattered from the two wires touching, Prunze could feel the speakers come to life from the desk above as their vibrations rocked through the desk and to the floor underneath him.
"Hello? Is anyone there?" The voice questioned.
"Jackpot." Prunze muttered to himself.
"I'm here, I'm here. Frieza Soldier Prunze reporting from Omega-27." Prunze stated in a casual manner as sat back in his chair.
"Finally…It's about time you answered!" The alien on screen irritatedly said aloud.
The alien was short and somewhat stout with dark muddy green screen, a bird-like face, and bright red hair that stood up straight like a plume. The creature wore a set of black Frieza Force armor and wore a green scouter.
"Yeah about that…What's going on?" Prunze questioned.
"Fine then. Listen up, my schedule is busier than you possibly can imagine, so I'm only going to say this once. Turles has become bolder in his tactics ever since Planet Vegeta was destroyed by that giant meteor." The alien stated confidently.
Upon hearing the latter half of the alien's conversation, Prunze briefly looked away from the screen and rolled his eyes as he immediately turned back toward the computer.
"He and his men have been attacking more planets in the very outer reaches of Frieza's empire, which has allowed us to track his ship's movements and trajectories." The red-haired alien continued.
"Using this data, my top scientists predicted that Turles would arrive at a planet listed on file as Terra a little over two weeks ago." The alien explained.
"Well, what's the issue? If you knew where he was going, why you callin' us up? At this point, he's probably moved on to the next planet to harvest so it can't exactly be that hard to determine where he's heading to next?" Prunze continued, now somewhat puzzled.
"Yes, but that's the problem. He hasn't." The alien replied.
"We predicted his next move would be to a set of thriving planets, all of which are relatively close to Terra, but he hasn't arrived on any of those planets." The red-haired alien stated.
"That's impossible." Prunze declared as he shook his head.
"Whatever the case may be, it's you and Raisk's jobs to go to his last known whereabouts, learn the current situation regarding Turles, and report back once you've done so." The alien ordered.
"That's suicide! Raisk and I ain't strong enough to tangle with those freaks! Can't you get anyone else to do it?!" Prunze exclaimed in desperation.
"Are you denying an order, soldier?! You two are the closest operatives to the planet, so you will complete this mission or there will be consequences!" The alien yelled back.
"You know, I have you and your friend's files right here. Apparently, the two of you have been working for…57 years. That's impressive." The alien continued as he looked down at a holographic tablet.
"It would be a shame if all those hard earned retirement benefits were to…vanish because of one single emotional outburst against a superior." The alien said aloud, causing Prunze's eyes to widen from realization.
"Now, you two will head to Terra and complete the mission. Understood?" The alien ordered with a smirk.
"I read you loud and clear." Prunze replied as his face shifted to a neutral one.
"Good. Now get to work." The alien added as the video call ended and the computer screen returned to normal.
Getting out of his chair, Prunze's face began to twist into one of fuming anger.
"Graahhh!" Prunze yelled out in anger as he immediately kicked the chair across the metal room.
"That fatheaded…glorified pencil pusher…If I ever get my hands on him, I'll…I'll…" Prunze angrily mumbled out as he paced around the room.
Stopping himself, Prunze took a deep breath in.
"Just three more years, Prunze. Three more years and you'll never have to work again." Prunze thought to himself as he tried to relax.
Looking around, Prunze saw his green scouter, which was currently turned off and left discarded on the other side of the room. Sitting atop another computer terminal, the small machine was busy collecting dust. Ignoring the device, Prunze started to irritatedly walk toward the exit.
Prunze was a noseless blue alien with a wide face and purple eyes. His black hair, which was already receding and balding, matched his equally wrinkled and tired face. Wearing a set of white Frieza Force armor and brown shoulder guards, Prunze left the room as the door behind him automatically closed itself.
Easily navigating through the space station's tight metal corridors, Prunze approached a new room, with the door in front of him sealed shut.
As loud snoring could be heard from the other side, Prunze pounded on the door with his massive arms.
"RAISK! Get your ass up!" Prunze yelled out as he heard the rapid movement of blankets and bedsheets shifting about from inside the room.
As the door opened, Prunze was face-to-face with his friend Raisk. Raisk was a large grasshopper-like alien with green skin, slender legs, large black pupiless eyes, and spindly fingers. Much like Prunze, Raisk wore a set of white and brown Frieza Force armor with his scouter also absent from his attire.
"I'm up. Could you relax? What's got you so pissed off?" Raisk said in a half-awake tone as he rubbed one of his eyes and started to stretch his long arms.
"We got orders from the higher ups. We have to head to some planet called Terra to see why Turles and all his buddies have decided to sit their butts down there." Prunze explained.
"Turles!?" Raisk exclaimed fearfully.
"They want us to scout out a planet with Turles and his men prowling about?" Raisk said in disbelief.
"No thank you, I'd prefer to keep all my organs inside my body." Raisk continued as he prepared to turn back around toward the sleeping quarters.
"Well it's either we do this, or they'll revoke all our damn retirement benefits." Prunze replied in a low, completely serious voice.
Stopping in his tracks, Raisk stewed in his thoughts.
"After all our decades of tireless and unthankful work?" Raisk questioned as he clenched his fists.
"Of course they'd do something like that…What a bunch of bastiches." Raisk continued frustratedly.
"Look, I don't like this anymore than you do, but it's either we do this, or all our hard work will be thrown out the window. You still want that beachside vacation to Asaja?"
"Obviously…" Raisk mumbled out.
"Then we got to do this mission. I'll start loading up all of the supplies. You just get the ship started and figure out how long it's going to take to reach Terra. Ok?" Prunze added in a kind but firm voice.
For a few moments, the green alien said nothing as his angry stance lessened to a more resigned one.
"Alright." Raisk replied back.
As the duo walked down another corridor of the space station, they soon entered a massive dark room. Holding out his hand, Prunze created a small ball of Ki in his hand, allowing the space around them to be briefly lit.
Stumbling toward the right wall, Prunze's shoes clanged against the steel grate floors. Finding the breaker box, Prunze flipped multiple switches as one by one the lights in the room powered on revealing a single small spaceship in the hangar bay below them.
Activating the nearby lift, Raisk was lowered down to the main floor as Prunze left the room using the same door they entered from. As the ship rumbled to life, Prunze walked back into the hangar with a large crate of supplies. Using his Ki, Prunze floated down to the spaceship as Raisk emerged from the vehicle via a large hatch in the back.
"So, what's it saying?" Prunze asked aloud.
"Well, it's outside of Frieza's empire, but it's not a space where the Galactic Patrol visits either, so that's a relief." Raisk replied back.
"However, ETA's looking to be about two weeks." Raisk continued.
"Then we'll need one more of these." Prunze added as he slapped the top of the crate before easily jumping back up to the upper floor of the hangar and left the room.
"You think we should bring our scouters?" Prunze yelled out.
"What for?! So the assholes in command can listen to us ramble about nothing for weeks on end? Just make sure you grab the scout robo while you're up there and that should be enough." Raisk shouted back.
Looking around the hangar bay, Raisk crossed his arms and closed his eyes.
"Three more years, and I'll never have to spend another night here in this dump." Raisk contemplated as he reopened his eyes and got back into the spaceship.
