FFN Death Fury: amazing chapter

Response: Good to see you again here, I hope you enjoy the new chapter.

AUTHORS NOTE

To point it out to certain people on some of the sites… IT IS NOT A BASHING FIC IF YOU ARE POINTING OUT CHARACTER FLAWS! Obviously if you change a person's viewpoint, give them not all the information, or simply put them in a different situation. Then they will react differently like PEOPLE!

Think of all the characters you think are best from other fandoms you read. I bet you will notice how despite them having an extreme aspect to their personality or just not being what is considered socially normal in real life. They still respond differently to different situations like actual people. Well unless you have bad taste in reading material, in which case… I pity your pathetic ass life.

Rant aside if you do not want the fanbase your apart of to be known as 'toxic' then do not call authors ridiculous things like liars or straight abuse the review or comment function to insult the works they put their time and effort into. Constructive criticism is fine, but if you do not know the difference between the two, then do not review or comment about the story at all.

The reason I am going out of my way to say this, is because in like four or five chapters, the sport festival arc will begin. So please, for those people who claim to hate the story but keep reading it, either shut the fuck up or just don't continue reading the story. With all that said, for those not giving me bullshit, enjoy the story and apologies if you got offended by my rant. Also, apologies for this being a bit late to post as I was sick since the start of this week, and I still had to go to school.

IZUKU MIDORIYA POV

Surrounded by enemies I stood shoulder to shoulder with Tetsu and Kendo as we were at the forefront of the pack with my only friend who transferred from 1-A to 1-B with me at my back. Even so I saw no reason to worry for once in my life as I had my classmates, my friends by my side. Giving a subtle nod to Tetsu and Kendo after locking eyes with each of them by means of a sideways glance getting nods and smiles from both of them. "All right everyone… let show them that we are heroes, NOT THEIR PREY!" I told everyone as we ran into the fight before us in groups.

UA TEACHERS FIRST PERIOD MEETING

THIRD PERSON POV

Not wanting to make this meeting after school due to the tight schedule for prepping for the sports festival, Nezu decided to have it now. They may be teenagers, but the hero course students should be mature enough to handle themselves for one period without teachers. As for Present Mic general education class, he assured them that they would be able to handle themselves with simple instructions from him.

"First off, and this may… no it will most definitely end up as a shock to most of you once I warn you." Nezu told them, where unlike Recovery Girl, he did not like the rip off the band aid approach.

"What are you talking about?" Midnight asked, her arms crossed with her eyebrows raised as very few things could make Nezu hesitate to say it outright. Not to mention, this meeting was about the sports festival, so what could be so bad about it despite still deciding to go forward with it previously.

"Katsuki Bakugo, will be returning to UA under the recommendation of the HPSC." Nezu said, seeing that those who already knew were looking around at the others to gauge their reactions like he was.

'THREE' He started the mental countdown, taking in the still calm faces of the others.

'TWO' the others were now starting to realize what he said.

'ONE' now they were clearly about to snap at him.

"WHAT!" They exclaimed as Nezu, Hound Dog, Vlad King, All Might, Recovery Girl, and Eraserhead were still calm.

"I know, but thanks to the USJ incident. As Midnight would put it, the HPSC has us by our balls and are more than ready to crush them at a moment's notice." Nezu told them, making it clear why he could not say

"WE ALL KNOW WHAT HE DID!" Present Mic exclaimed first, with Aizawa luckily being ready to suppress his quirk before he accidently activated it. After Bakugo was expelled, Nezu had told the entire staff what they had found out. This was so they knew to ignore any cries for help from his family, in case they tried to approach them off school grounds.

"The issue here is that the HPSC covered up what he did, so we have no proof now to deny him with. The fact they went as far as they would have had to do in order to scrub his record clean like they did makes it clear. They have plans to use him to ruin the sports festival… and that is at the bare minimum." Aizawa told them, glad that Nezu still trusted him enough to have informed him of this in advance before the others.

"SO WE HAVE TO PUT THE OTHER STUDENTS IN DANGER?!" Midnight declared, nearly hysterical since she would end up teaching him along with the remainder of 1-A once she took over from Aizawa after the sport festival.

"That is why we are having this meeting, to try and discuss countermeasures for the sake of the other students' safety. Midoriya specifically when you consider how Bakugo will likely target them more than the others." Vlad King said, pointing out the timid elephant among the students.

"Well first off, since we have the first two events to weed out the majority of the participants, let's try to get him out there." Snipe said, checking his gun's ammo in a nervous tick they all recognized.

"Well since we use the first event to determine mobility capabilities we probably won't be able to eliminate him without targeting him specifically drawing suspicion to us." Cementoss pointed out, slightly souring the mood of everyone there but pointing out the obvious fact they couldn't ignore.

"In that case, we need to make the second event something that will put him at a disadvantage while not hindering others too much." Hound Dog told them all, reminding them of the other students they could end up hurting in the process.

"Normally we do not think about a rescue event due to how unpopular it is, making the board members complain. But in this instance, it will be our best bet to get him removed." Present Mic mentioned, recalling all the times they told him to shut up and that he didn't know better. Despite him being both a hero and one of the most popular radio talk show hosts in Japan.

"On top of that, we can make the spots for the next round be determined by the positions they hold after the second round." All Might spoke up, thinking that if they did it by points then the most skilled combatants will likely all be put in the same block as him if he makes it through.

"That may not be the best idea. Depending on the points we will not be able to prevent him from going up against someone with a significantly weaker quirk. It may be better to keep it random so we can discreetly put him up against someone with the best chance of beating him." Aizawa responded swiftly, keeping his personal issues with the hero on hold.

Because as much as the underground hero wanted to scold the man for another stupid idea of his. It was not necessarily a bad suggestion for a new teacher at a hero school to make in this situation. Also, Nezu had previously pointed out his faulty logic and his unfair judgment of the symbol of peace. Who as much as hated to admit it, was genuinely trying his best for the students despite lacking in the experience needed to do so.

"I agree with Aizawa on that, the randomized selection will allow UA to hide two fights against him we set up if need be. But let's hope that a rescue event for the second part will eliminate him. Once we decide on the exact event, I will contract the HELP ME company to work for the event." Nezu stated as the meeting continued for the rest of the first period, all while none of them knew of what was unfolding in class 1-A… for now anyways.

UA CLASS 1-B

GYM GAMMA

THIRD PERSON POV

After everyone was dressed in their hero costumes, they had gathered into their five groups for the sports festival. Something Vlad King liked to see his students proactively doing, so he approved of the teams they made. Not giving any input as he felt it would be a better lesson for them to try it by themselves first.

Though they only had major rescue classes at the USJ or battle trails in one of the fake cities once a week each. But then what for the other three days? Well, they just had more simplified classes in the gym for basic fighting or rescue skills. However, with the attack on UA, the USJ was prohibited till after the sports festival, since they needed to upgrade its safety measures and prepare for the sports festival.

That meant that any rescue training at best, had to use one of the fake cities. This decision made it harder for villains to sneak in and hide due to the remote camera access. Something that they intended to add to the USJ now that they know villains are actually willing to risk attacking hero schools again.

This camera system allowed them to check the security cameras before and during the exercise with ease. So, if they get jammed again, Nezu will be able to tell right away. If he relied on whether or not they responded to his calls like in the past. He would end up shrugging off any no response as they were busy with something to avoid raising the alarm for no reason… just like the USJ attack when he called to check in on whether or not it was harder with one less teacher there and got no response.

Now it was not all bad, they could still simulate scenarios for simple rescues using the buildings. In fact, this is what All Might did on day one for his first class to simplify the first combat class. Which given he was new and had a clearly volatile student in Bakugo, was a bad idea.

Since he should have done sparring in a more open space so he could easily intervene, it would have been better in that scenario to use one of the basic gyms. Luckily without Midoriya there, the explosive teen was far less on edge than if he was fighting Midoriya, so his opponents took much less damage before losing.

"All Right everyone, today we will be practicing basic… teamwork tech…niques." Vlad King said, sighing loudly as finally his slowly breaking sentence at the sight of five students walking towards him. Now this sighing would not occur, if it was most students, however… "As much as I don't want to hear what happened. I probably need to hear what happened before anything else.

With that, Momo began explaining to them all what happened to cause them to visit class 1-B during hero training. Fortunately, they started their hero class before 1-B did due to Aizawa insisting they get an early start since he would not be there.

UA CLASS 1-A

TRAINING GROUND DELTA

THIRD PERSON POV

Due to Aizawa's background as an underground hero, he was having to help with overhauling the UA security system. So an Ectoplasm clone was watching their class today as it was supposed to be self guided combat training. This was done according to Aizawa instructions to Ectoplasm and them. But like in the classroom it devolved quickly.

"My apologies Yaoyorozu, but before the rest of us start training. I would like to request that you take the other four potential traitors with you to a different city block, so as not to have our current capabilities leaked to the villains." Ida told her as he adjusted his glasses, not even chopping his hands for once.

"WHAT!" Momo exclaimed not asking what he said but more so questioning the fact that he actually said what he said.

"Well since you have foolishly chosen to trust them, you should have no issue with not dragging the rest of us down with you." Ida responded, in a mix of both ignoring her questioning his suggestions. As well as genuinely thinking she was not understanding his logic of wanting to protect the rest of the class.

Aoyama meanwhile was berating himself internally as he was dragging his few classmates who trusted him down with himself. But with his parents' lives on the line, he was unable to speak up and say anything about the truth. So, all he could do was apologize to them over and over again, something they always tell him not to do when he does it, since they think he was really innocent.

"Ida! If you keep accusing and-" the Ectoplasm Clone said but got cut off by one of the offended students.

"YOU JUST WANT TO USE US AS AN EXCUSE TO INSULT HER JUST BECAUSE YOU WEREN'T ELECTED CLASS PRESIDENT! WEREN'T YOU! YOU FOUR EYED FUCKED!" Jiro yelled, though not as well versed in swearing like Uraraka was due to her family construction background. Was still well versed enough in such language due to her family love of music, rock music more specifically but they still listened to other genres as well.

"ARE YOU REALLY FUCKING TRYING TO DISTRACT US FROM THE OBVIOUS FACTS BY BRINGING POLITICS INTO THIS YOU FLAT CHESTED BITCH!?" Ochaco yelled back, upset that her friend was being insulted by the girl who was not only probably a traitor. But also seemed unable to decide whether she wanted to be a musician or hero. In her opinion, she at least was determined to be focused on being a hero rather than splitting her time between her family business and hero work.

"Let's just go to 1-B, we can ask them if we can train with them today." Todoroki said as all five of them had Hagakure phone number and Yaoyorozu had the phone number of a few others in class 1-B on top of that.

"I already know where they are, so let's hurry. Apologies, Ectoplasm-sensei, but we don't want to waste time arguing with unreasonable people." Momo bowed to the clone of the original teacher making sure to show proper respect before leading the other four with her. Luckily the other four followed her lead in not looking back or even acknowledging the insults hurled at them as they walked away.

UA CLASS 1-B

GYM GAMMA

THIRD PERSON POV

There was a hard as stone, almost frigid silence one could call it, as the explanation finally set in for everyone there. They also explained before the hero class event what happened during the first period class, so they had better context as to why they left so quickly.

"I know Shiozaki will complain when I say this, BUT WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK!?" Kamakiri asked the five as he could not fathom their fucked-up logic. Surprisingly Shiozaki did not intend to correct him on his use of foul language as she also thought it was 'fucked up' to hear what they just did. Though she still sent him a disapproving glare for it.

Vlad King wanted to groan and face palm at hearing the twisted logic the students used to determine a fourth of their class were traitors. It was common sense that they would try to avoid showing as many of the students as possible the charred corpse of a single villain, let alone multiple villains.

In this instance, it seemed protecting them from the real horrors of hero work ended up causing a potentially bigger mess. If they had seen the bodies like Todoroki and his group did, then they would understand why he was shocked about killing them in self defense like he did.

"Well in any case, since we are doing group exercises for the sports festival, how about you join us?" Vlad King said, extending a welcoming hand to them, unsurprised if he is told before the sport festival that his class would go up by five students.

"Yes please, I assume the five of us should form one team?" Momo asked the 1-B teacher, feeling

"That would be for the best." Vlad King told her, as the five of them settled beside another group.

"First off roll call for the group leaders as well as roles within the group. From my right to left go!" Vlad King said in a military drill sergeant like style.

"F-First Group!" Izuku called out, nervous he was deemed the leader by his group. "Tetsutetsu for defense, Tsunotori for escape, Kaibara and Kamakiri to finish our group." He finished, signaling to the group beside him with a head nod to take their turn.

"Second Group! Shishida for defense as well as Rin and Manga for escape." Kendo called out in one go in a calm and steady manner, nodding lightly to the class vice rep.

"Th-Third Group! Tsuburaba for defense, then Yanagi and Setsuna for escape." Shoda said in a nervous but more held together manner unlike Izuku. Quickly nodding to the next in, they confidently all be it stiffly took their turn.

"Fourth Group! Shiozaki for defense, Honenuki for escape. As well as Awase, and Kodai" Hagakure said, passing it onto the next and final group leader, who was the happiest to have center stage now.

"Fifth Group! Bondo for defense and escape. Komori and Kuroiro." Monoma responded proudly with his chest puffed out, smirking at how he was entrusted with the most technically skilled yet least raw power group.

Momo was genuinely impressed with how well these teams were made, complimenting one another's strengths and weaknesses. While all teams had a means for escape and defense, the first two groups were clearly the more combat focused groups. The third and fourth group were clearly made with the intent to support the first and second groups, while also having the best defensive measures.

Finally, the fifth group, while lacking the raw power needed to take the front line as a whole. They are versatile enough to switch from supporting the front line to directly joining them in case they needed more numbers. No matter how one evaluated this class, it was clear they already had a solid base for teamwork. Much more so when compared to 1-A who had the unofficial title of top 20 first years go to their heads. Resulting in them more interested in competing with each other to prove their superiority than working together.

It was clear to her and the others that their class was missing something to bind them all together like 1-B did. Though it was obvious, nothing could be done about it, as the thing they were missing was a natural born hero and leader. Someone that could inspire those around them by simply trying their best to be the best hero they could, a sort of moral light to guide them all down the right path.

"All right, now for your group, if you need a few minutes to decide I would like you all to designate your roles." Vlad King told them, curious as to what they would decide on, especially given their group composition.

After a few minutes of doing a group huddle, they decided on their roles. "Tokoyami and his quirk Dark Shadow would be best for minimizing damage against nonlight based quirks. But if we do face such an opponent, then Todoroki can back him up with his ice to bind the ground enemies or make a wall to help us escape such a scenario. Finally, Jiro can detect enemies sneaking up on us while me and Aoyama focus on helping the offense as needed." Momo responded, proud that she was able to properly highlight her teammate's ability to what she felt was the fullest.

Everyone in class 1-B was quite happy with how Momo had clearly changed compared to that first day in the cafeteria. As well as how the people she surrounded herself with were a good team for pushing their way through the sports festival. "Good team composition, and well thought out use of everyone's capabilities. Now we will start with a small obstacle course, Cementoss?" Vlad said as he smiled proudly at the students from 1-A, despite them not being his students.

"On it, apologies for being late, but I had to stop some general education students from fighting with 1-A before the sports festival." Cementoss responded as walked up from behind the students, shocking them all. Both for him not getting noticed by them, but also for the supposed conflict that occurred right after Momo's group left their classmates.

"Now then students, welcome to your first test… my personally designed mini obstacle course. You will have to do it relay style with the last person going twice in a row if you are a team of four." Vlad King said to the students grinning devilishly as Cementoss began making the course right behind him. With the faces of the students looking either shocked or annoyed at what he had designed for them
