Dylan approached Mahaado, "Sir, Damien the guards trainer from the battle has sent a request."

Mahaado raised an eyebrow, from what he saw the battle was going great. "What's the request?"

"Well sir, he says his men are getting bored, restless and tired."

"Bored?" Mahaado asked, confused.

"Yes, sir. He reported that because you considered this training he cast a spell that cut the guards strength by just over half."

Mahaado started laughing. Mako's forces were being trampled and his weakest men were only fighting at 25% power. He had to know, "What's the request?"

"Well the men want the limit taken off altogether so they can end this battle now, but the trainer only wants to raise it to 50%."

"Let's go, we have time before the ball begins. We'll strengthen them to 50% and watch the fun."

Jasmine got up and noticed a bathroom in the room. She went in and tried her best to get cleaned up. Then she went to see Diana. She knocked and hoped she hadn't already left.

Diana was still getting ready when she heard the knock. She sighed wondering where Mahaado had run off to. She opened the door and was shocked to see the state Jasmine was in. "Jasmine, what's wrong?"

"We need to talk."

"Of course, come in."

As they sat down on the couch Jasmine sighed and said, "I asked Maura to live with me."

"I did too and she rejected me."

"I wanted her to wear that dress that I asked Mahaado to repair."

"Why would you want her to wear that gaudy thing to the ball?"

"It's a traditional outfit from Nitesh's county."

"Maybe so but I understand why she refused to wear it. Surely that's not what upset you?"

"No, after Mahaado repaired it. I went to talk to her. My lady in waiting had dropped by earlier and told me of the war and trade routes being cut off. I had her get the dress. I begged Maura to reconsider and marry Prince Mako."

"So what she screamed at you for lying about wanting her to live with you?"

"I wanted her to live with us as we are closer to Prince Mako's kingdom. I wanted her to talk to him and reconsider the marriage."

"I don't agree with that, I would have encouraged her to consider but not force it. What did she say?"

"She dragged me to an office to actually call Prince Mako."

"So, she's really going to go through with the marriage?" Diana asked surprised.

At that Jasmine broke down into tears and told Diana about how the phone call went. She too was crying by the end.

"He's a monster. I can't believe this. He wanted everyone to witness him taking her, then planned on passing her to his friends but then would have had her killed if she got pregnant from men he would have given her to." That more than anything didn't make her break down like it did Jasmine. It pissed her off more than anything. "Mahaado."

A moment later a portal opened. "I was only watching the battle from the sidelines." Then he noticed something wrong. "What's wrong?"

Diana sighed and recounted what Jasmine had told her.

"I knew that kingdom was bad. But I didn't know they were morally bankrupt as well." Then the conversation he'd had with Dylan hit him and he smirked, "Don't worry Diana, I have a way to exact revenge. Don't fret, I have no plans to kill him. That would be letting him off the hook too easily."

He opened a portal and went to it.

Mako couldn't believe this. His forces were barely hanging on. They were holding their own just a short time ago. He was sure that victory was in his grasp. Now they were losing. He couldn't understand how this happened?

"Kokoro, focus more troops on Kamilah. They might be weaker. Then we'll figure out how to take on the Star Kingdom!" Mako yelled.

"Yes,sir."

"Prince Nitesh, it seems that Prince Mako has decided to focus his attack mostly on us."

"Is that so? Contact Damien. Tell him to pull back and rest the troops. Make Mako think they're retreating. We will give the signal and they take them on in a surprise attack blindsiding them. They will be overconfident thinking that they defeated The Star Kingdom into retreating. They will be ready to take out after that.
