Mondays were never fun, but Mondays after helping with the cleanup for an Endbringer attack was even worse. It was like the first day of school after she had gotten her powers only now the kids there knew what boundaries they could push and what Missy would have to accept.

It was annoying what they were asking of her.

Even though Power usage at school was still forbidden people could still request autographs or the school newspaper could incessantly try to get interviews with her. The sporty, popular, and often older kids, some even in the high school division of Immaculata, would constantly invite her to hangout or party. And finally, there were the boys that would ask her out or leave a letter through the grates in her locker.

Finding confessions in her locker had quickly lost its charm. Being asked out at lunch again even more so. That along with dealing with the masses, left Missy in a very sour mood as she made her way back to her locker after lunch to get her books. She was expecting a round of letters to sort through. Instead, she found the door to her locker popped open with the lock snapped.

"Missy? What's- Oh crap," Dinah said as Clara had already run off to get a teacher.

Missy could only just stare. Everyone inside just gone. School supplies, textbooks, and even her spare clothes for gym, all gone. Thankfully she always carried her Evoker around with her but…

"My gym clothes," Missy whispered. That was what scared her the most. She didn't know why people wanted them and what they were doing with them, but those were things she wore and put on her body. Shirts, pants, bras. Those were gone too.

It was gross and scary.

"Don't think about it Missy," Dinah tried to pull her away but Missy stayed. She just stood there as a crowd began to gather at the sight. Some of the people there were probably genuinely outraged on her behalf, others were probably faking it, and a few were just straight up taking pictures.

Her suffering was their entertainment and she couldn't let herself get mad or shake because she was scared. If she did they'd think less of her as a Hero again, like a kid. So she had to suck it up and be strong.

"What is going on here- Oh my lord," the teacher that Clara brought over gasped at the scene. She quickly got reinforcements as it would take several of them to disperse the crowds.

After that Missy was brought to the principal's office. Her parents were called of course, but thankfully it was just her father that would eventually show up.

"Someone broke into Missy's locker," her father said, sternly. He looked angry at someone that wasn't his wife for once.

"We're aware. An investigation is being done," the principal replied.

"They stole her clothes."

"Why?" Missy asked. "Why my clothes? What are they doing with them?"

Missy's father froze, not quite sure how to answer. Was it so bad that he couldn't just… tell her? Was it even worse than what she was thinking?

"…The belongings of Capes often get sold online or on the black market," the principal explained carefully.

"So they're just… collecting my things?" Missy asked.

"… Yes. Among other uses. It's disturbing and the faculty will make sure that this incident isn't repeated."

"How?" Missy's father asked.

In the end the school would generously provide for Missy. New books, supplies, clothes, and a new locker. One that was conveniently placed across from the principal's office. On one hand yea, her locker probably wasn't going to be broken into again on the other it was a reminder that she was always being watched by someone. Even if it was supposedly for her own safety.

She didn't leave the school very safe though as her father drove her back home.

"Missy, are you safe there?" her father asked in the car. "It can't be easy going to school like this."

"It's fine. I'll handle it," Missy replied.

"Because if you aren't… we can take you out."

"And what? Any other school would just be the same and I can't go to Arcadia until High School."

"We could always homeschool you."

Missy glared at her father. "Do you guys even have the time for that? Can you do it without fighting?"

Her father remained silent as they made it home. Missy quickly got out of the car and stomped up to her room to get changed into her Hero outfit. She had a patrol planned with New Wave and Jack for the evening and she really needed it.

"Aye Menina. I know I owe you a favor and I'm not complaining about helping you out once in a while… but is this really a good use of our time?"

"Just walk around and look imposing Fang," Missy said over their Comms, doing their best to remain professional. It was a school night so she would only be allowed a few more hours at most before she had to go to bed. She would've conscripted Mona for this too but, apparently he was busy doing his own thing. Too bad, having a cat go unnoticed as it snuck around for them would've been nice. "Need to remind the Empire that the Heroes are here to stop them."

"Alright. But Missy you and New Wave must have the patience of Saints to deal with this all the time."

"Stay alert and professional," Brandish scolded him. "We're letting you tag along because Missy insisted but if you tarnish our reputation-"

"Reputation? I thought this was about helping people."

"We have to present and hold ourselves to a higher standard. If you can't do that-"

"Fine, fine. I'll go sign some autographs. Give me a call when you need something crushed or burnt."

Carol looked at Missy once Fang got off the line. "Anything he does is your responsibility; you know that right?"

"J- Fang's a good guy," Missy replied. "He'll be a good Hero."

"Fine… I like the improvements you made to your outfit."

Missy perked up. "Pretty cool right?" She spun a little to give her poncho a quick twirl. "Parian made it for me. She does really good work."

"The Rogue at the Boardwalk? Vicky did mention wanting to get an outfit made by her but it simply wasn't in the budget."

"Might be able to get a discount with her with an advertisement deal or something. Or even legal advice. Actually she's been having trouble with NEPEA-5 even though she can prove her designs are reproducible without powers. If you could help her out…"

"Business law is outside of my specialty… but I can take a look at her case. Perhaps refer her to a good lawyer."

"Thanks. Parian's a cool person so I appreciate you helping her."

They continued their ground patrol, making sure to stay aware of their surroundings. Honestly Missy would've preferred flying up in the skies with Vicky, more exciting and cover more area that way, but apparently Brandish wanted to stay close to her for the evening. Probably a bit overprotective but honestly not worth fighting over.

"… Minako told me that something happened at your school earlier today," Brandish commented a few minutes into their patrol.

Missy paused. She had honestly been hoping to forget about that. Especially after Minako and Shinji had already called her to see if she was fine. "They stole my stuff."

"Victoria's had issues with that in the past. The perpetrators were found and punished and she's much more careful with her belongings now."

"They took my clothes. My bra and underwear. Why?" Maybe Carol would finally give Missy a proper answer.

"You're famous and there are Collectors of Cape memorabilia. But…"

"But?"

"You're a young girl. The reasons why a boy might… fancy you can be similar, albeit much more twisted, to the reasons they might want your clothes. Sometimes it isn't just boys your age too."

It wasn't a complete answer still, missing some details she needed, but it was enough. Enough to convey how disturbing it was and could potentially be. Enough that goosebumps grew on Missy's arm and she couldn't help but rub them to get rid of the chill.

"Keep your… Evoker with you at all times. And your weapons when you can. Be careful of any stranger that approaches you while you're alone," Carol warned her. "Not all boys are bad. But you need to be careful with who you trust in a relationship and even then it can be difficult to find a person that's compatible with you."

"Okay." After this though Missy had no plans to get into a relationship anytime soon.

They continued on with their patrol with Missy constantly scanning their surroundings if only to keep her mind off of recent events.

Thankfully it wouldn't take long for something to explode. No wait, actually that wasn't something to be grateful for, especially with the sound of gunshots that soon followed

"Theia!"

Using her Persona it didn't take long for Missy and Brandish to arrive at the source of the explosions and gunfire. A skirmish between what looked like Merchants and Empire, some even throwing grenades.

"Stay back and keep your head down," Brandish commanded before she turned into a ball of light that Theia then grabbed and threw like a professional pitcher. Ball Brandish, Baldish for short though Missy would never say that to the woman's face, hurtled straight for the heart of the Merchants, popping out of the ball and beating them up with her weapons once she was in the middle of them.

Missy for her part decided to keep the Empire occupied. "Jack O Lantern!"

Fire was an effective, if violent, means of crowd control that quickly sent the Empire grunts diving for cover. Missy herself stood out in the open and began considering her next move as Theia continued to deflect their gunfire at her. Eventually she decided to use her newest technique.

Missy reached into one of her vest's pockets and took a special cartridge that she inserted into the bottom of her Evoker. She took a deep breath and pointed her Evoker at her head, the weight of what she was about to do made her hands shake slightly.

"Theia! Pixie! Theurgy!"

Pixie shrunk into a ball of light that would fly into Theia's body. A bright flash would blind those who watched. As the light faded Theia would emerge. She was larger now, with a blue color scheme of light and dark blues, and with wings that were rounded and translucent.

"Now!" Missy shouted as she raised her hand to the heavens. "Bring down the storm!"

Theia and Pixie's fusion, Missy still really needed to figure a name out for that, spread their wings wide and began thinning the air of the area around the gangsters. With less air to act as an insulator Missy's Persona would then have the positive and negative charges in the area meet, creating a rapid discharge of electricity. An electric pulse slammed through the Gangsters, once, twice, and then finally thrice, shocking all of them and subduing them as they lost the ability to move.

That wasn't the limit to what Theia's fusion could now do. Missy could probably create a miniature storm or bring down bolts of lightning if she wanted, but best to hold back and keep things non-lethal for now.

The fusion would split and both Theia and Pixie would disappear leaving Missy winded.

Twenty armed Gangsters taken down nonlethally all at once. Not bad she'd say. Took a bit out of her and it would be some time before she could use a Theurgy again, but it was a good test run for her first time.

Couldn't revel in her success long though, especially with that Cape that was now approaching her.

"Theia!"

Wind struck her Persona, who took some of it without much harm before diverting the rest of it away. Stormtiger against Theia and her resistance to wind? Easy matchup.

Missy raised her Katana at him while keeping her Evoker in her other hand. The residual wind caused her clothes to move dramatically as she pointed her blade at the Villian. "Surrender and submit yourself to the authorities."

Stormtiger raised an eye. "Think a bit much of yourself brat."

Missy's reply was to swing her Katana just as Theia warped Space. Stormtiger created a claw of wind that was barely able to deflect the sword strike, a sword strike that originated from Missy who was at least twenty meters away.

The Villain tensed and got serious. He began to send strong gusts of slicing wind that even tore holes in the concrete, all of which began to divert to the sides. That entire time he kept a claw up ready to deflect every quick slash that Missy sent at him.

Missy put her Evoker to her head. "Jack-O-Lantern!" Her Persona and summoned fire around her. Fire that would be fed by the winds and then directed with Theia's power.

"Shit!" Stormtiger cursed before propelling himself upwards with his Power and makeshift flying to avoid the firestorm in his direction. He attempted to propel himself at Missy's direction only for Theia to redirect him to the side. "Fight like a man brat!"

"I'm a girl!" Missy shouted as she drew out her second blade and ran forward. Normally it would be foolhardy to charge directly at a Villain like that, but she had already set things up. Running through a tunnel Theia created, Missy emerged right above Stormtiger while he was distracted by more fire being thrown all around him.

She swung down. Her blades were blocked by his claws so she followed up by kicking him in the face. While he stumbled she landed on her feet before diving to the side as he tried to blow her away with a blast of wind.

Stormtiger growled from being struck before raising his arms and gathering all around his body before releasing it around him as a miniature tornado. Against most other people it would be a formidable defense that would be difficult to get through and a dangerous attack once thrown in their direction.

Unfortunately for him Missy was not most people. With a sweep of her arms Missy created a gap in the tornado that she then had Jack-O-Lantern fill with fire. While Stormtiger was contending with the flames, Missy rushed in, using the fire as cover and landed a light cut on his side. Unlike Skidmark he didn't scream, he simply grunted before trying to slice at her with his claws, but by then Missy retreated using a combination of her own feet and Theia's power.

Hit and Run. That was the tactic she used against him, using Theia for mobility and defense while Jack-O-Lantern harassed the Villian with its flames. A few minutes in and Missy was breathing heavily, the constant movement and adrenaline was taking its toll and she hadn't landed a decisive blow yet. Stormtiger at least wasn't unscathed; his shirtless body was covered in lots of small cuts and burns.

"Violent bitch," Stormtiger spit out. Though he sounded less annoyed and more approving. "Hookwolf's right. You do have a vicious streak."

"I can heal you. Now surrender."

Stormtiger didn't surrender. Instead he shot at her with his power.

Missy rushed forward knowing that they wouldn't hit her only for Space to suddenly reorientate itself and leave her right in front of the blasts. They weren't that strong thankfully with her resistance to wind, but it still hurt a lot when they collided with her and sent her into the air.

She didn't fight gravity. She relaxed her body and let herself roll on the ground before quickly pushing herself up. By then she barely just had enough time to throw herself out of the way of another blast of wind. Thankfully after that Jack-O-Lantern began throwing fire at the Villian occupying him long enough for Missy to steady herself and catch her breath.

Things had gotten a bit sketchy.

Theia wouldn't expose her like that without good reason and well Rune suddenly showing up and throwing giant pieces of the road at them was. Unfortunately, that meant that Missy only had herself and Jack-O-Lantern to deal with Stormtiger themselves while Theia was occupied with the other Villain.

Jack-O-Lantern wouldn't last long though. Without Theia, Stormtiger was able to quickly propel himself toward the Persona. It barely had time to let out a screech before it was cut down by his claws.

Missy screeched as she felt several lines of heat go straight down her chest and all the way to her stomach. She still forced herself to grit her teeth as she put her Evoker to her head.

Who to use next? Kelpie for its wind? No, their wind was weaker than Stormtiger's. Berith? No He was tough but despite his horse he wasn't that fast, Stormtiger would go circles around him with his Power before attacking Missy directly. She needed a Persona that she could fight alongside, something that could match the Villain's strength and mobility.

"Jack Frost!" The diminutive snowman emerged and released his magic, freezing the ground all around them. The ice wouldn't do much to stop Stormtiger with how he was hovering around, but it was perfect for Missy's use. Ice skating in the middle of a fight might seem dumb and impractical in isolation, but it was a whole lot faster than running. Using the ice Missy and Jack Frost would flank Stormtiger from the left and right respectively.

Not only was the Villain now having to deal with two moving targets attempting to strike at him from different directions but he also had to contend with the changing landscape. Occasionally spikes of ice would emerge from the ground forcing to dodge or blast through them once they blocked his path. Not only that but the ice under Missy's feet would occasionally change direction, elevation, or slope, drastically shifting her momentum and allowing her to make some swift movements to dodge away from gusts of wind and Stormtiger himself.

Of course, playing keep away wasn't going to work forever and there was a reason why Stormtiger lasted as long as he had. Missy winced as he adjusted his movements accordingly and barely nicked her in the shoulder with a claw. She didn't need to look back to know it was probably bleeding but at least she could still use that arm through the pain.

Yea no, fighting two Capes at once was dumb. Best to run away and get help. Brandish though was busy fighting off Crusader's ghosts at the moment so probably don't bring these two to her.

"Theia cover!"

While Jack Frost created a path of ice away for her to skate on, Theia would cover their retreat, deflecting the projectile the two Villains would send at them while messing the Space around them as they chased.

"Fang! You available? Got two Villains on my tail!" Missy shouted over her comms.

Carol's voice got on the line first. "Missy get-" she let out a grunt of exertion as something was cut down in the background. "Back here!"

"You already got Crusader. Jack and I can handle these two."

"Then run!"

"They're chasing me!"

"Ay Menina," Jack finally responded. Just dealt with some Grunts. Where you at?"

"Fine. Get to him. I'll try to come help soon," Brandish replied.

Missy and Jack quickly traded locations before she shifted directions to meet him halfway. She didn't make a noise when Theia picked her up by the waist and flew away with her. Space warped in front of them with the Villains following close behind and it wouldn't be long before all of them would arrive at Fang's location.

Fang proceeded to make his entrance by cutting a large piece of rebar that Rune threw at them in half. He hefted his giant sword on his back and smirked at the two Villains.

"Who the fuck are you?" Rune spoke for the first time.

"Friend of Missy's," Fang said as he tore off his mask to summon his Persona. Thankfully, and somehow, he had another mask underneath that one to preserve his identity. "Burn them, Dantes!"

Missy smirked as the Villains looked cautious at the arrival of another Persona before putting her Evoker to her head. "Blow them away, Kelpie!"

Jack went for Stormtiger, while Missy charged at Rune. It quickly became apparent that fighting her was a lot like fighting Skidmark. In some ways even worse.

The Villain had come prepared, applying their power to two cars along with the pavement she stood on, using both vehicles as floating battering rams to run Missy over. It took lots of ducking, weaving, wind, and space manipulation to avoid the cars.

Eventually Missy decided to take a page from her previous opponent and used her Persona's wind to propel herself upwards. Theia worked her power on a piece of a car thrown in Missy's direction, quickly killing its momentum and allowing Missy to jump off it.

While she was in the air she put her Evoker to her head. "Suzaku!"

A glorious red bird emerged that caught Missy with its talons and threw it at the platform that Rune was using. The Villain tried to float back with her power but some minor adjustment was all it took for Missy to land on the platform with both of her Personas flanking her.

"Shit." Rune said, her voice muffled as Missy charged at her. She threw herself off the platform to avoid Missy's blades, used a car to cover herself from Suzaku's charge, and then hopped onto the other car which became her new platform.

Missy attempted to follow only for the platform she was standing on to tilt suddenly and throw her off. She was quickly caught by Theia and both her Personas moved into the air to dodge the car and asphalt sent at them.

Alright time to try something new.

"Marin Karin!"

It was a spell that was less effective against strong wills and Missy purposefully held back. Even if it was temporary, to be able to effectively Master someone and Brainwash like Heartbreaker would was something that she wanted to avoid.

"What the-" Rune shouted as she stopped attacking for a brief moment. That moment was all Theia needed to focus on warping space all around her.

Missy landed on the ground, dismissed Suzaku, and gave Theia as much focus as she needed to twist the space around the Villain until it looked like something straight out of an abstract painting. It took a lot of effort and Missy's head began to throb, but they had effectively trapped their target.

Rune tried to fly out but found herself redirected into the center of her makeshift cage. The flying cars and asphalt likewise found little use as they were just redirected and thrown into each other.

With her opponent trapped, Missy looked down at Jack who was effectively taking everything Stormtiger threw at him. Stormtiger was simply forced to fall back more and more, unable to contend with Jack and Dante's combination of brute strength and fire.

"You know you can do great things with the Empire."

Missy turned back to Rune. "No. Now are you going to surr-"

*BANG*

She felt it before she heard or saw it. A terrible searing pain in her chest that caused her to gasp for breath and fall to her knees. It wasn't just pain in that one spot either, but the feeling of lightning coursing through her body, shocking her every nerve.

Theia fell, a giant hole in her chest before disappearing. It hadn't been a normal bullet either, the damn thing had been electrified. And it hurt really bad.

"Won't be your choice for long," Rune said.

"Missy!" Jack shouted as he immediately ran over to cover her. The Villains didn't push their advantage though, instead Rune grabbed Stormtiger with one of her platforms and immediately began to fly away.

"See ya brat. Better fight for the right side soon," Stormtiger replied as they flew off.

The pair of Persona Users could only watch as the Villains made their escape, their figures quickly disappearing in the distance.

"Fuck."

"Language," Jack scolded her as held her arm and helped her stand up. "Least we chased them off. Druggies are safe to shoot up another day."

"I know you don't like Merchants, but it's better than the Empire killing them and taking more of their territory," Missy argued and tried to shake off the jitters in her limbs.

"Not denying that, but it seems like we're only given bad options to choose from."

Missy nodded before opening her comms. Or at least tried to. It took her a few times to get her finger on the button. "Jack and I chased Stormtiger and Rune off. You okay there Brandish?"

"Yes," Brandish replied. "Crusader fell back. You sound winded. Are you okay?"

Missy winced, a bit of residual pain in her chest. "Theia got hit by a sniper. Electric bullet, hurt like hell."

"Viktor then. You're sure the bullet was electrified?"

"Felt like it."

"How did they know you're weak to electricity?"

"Probably figured it out from Circus. Shouldn't have had a taser for them to use on me."

"It is… coincidental that she happened to discern your weakness despite never fighting you before..."

"Is something wrong?" Missy asked.

"Just going to have to make some inquiries with the PRT. Empire didn't try anything else? They have been wanting to recruit you."

"Nah. Jack covered me while I was gone. They just ran away after… they did say I might not have a choice for long. Do you think they'll try something?"

"… Fleur was killed by one of their grunts. But they argued plausible deniability."

"You think they'll try something like that with me?"

"Maybe. It won't be the Capes you'll have to worry about. It'll be the anonymous man that can take you away without provable ties to them."

"Wonderful," Missy replied, her voice as dry as any desert. She brought her Evoker to her head. "Pixie."

"Anything else happening Brandish?" Jack asked. "Weird that the Empire would just run like that."

"Nothing on my end, though I expect the PRT to be fighting the-"

Missy's Hero phone rang so she picked it up. "Missy Biron here."

"This is Armsmaster. Currently in pursuit of Skidmark and Squealer with Velocity. Your powers would be useful if you happen to be in the area."

"Got it, on my way," Missy said once she got the coordinates. She had only taken a step when Jack grabbed her shoulder.

Jack grabbed her shoulder. "Hey. You're not thinking about running off on your own?"

"I agree," Brandish said over the coms. "You shouldn't be going there at all. He can't be giving you orders like that."

"I don't think he did anything illegal letting me know," Missy argued, using the lessons Carol gave her.

"Not Illegal but improper. It might go against PRT doctrine. You're still not going alone."

"It's a car chase and Theia can only carry me," Missy argued. "Even if I bring you there you won't be able to keep up."

Jack pointed to something behind him. "Who says we're going there on foot?"

"You stole this car!?" Brandish shouted at the man from the backseat as Jack drove. Missy of course had immediately called shotgun when given the opportunity.

"It was one of the Merchant's. Pretty sure they stole it first," Jack replied casually.

"That doesn't make it right! Do you know how many laws you're-"

"Heads up!" Missy shouted as they crested over a hill and from the air saw the monster truck, the road it was taking, and two Heroes chasing after it. Theia flexed her power and they landed some distance behind the truck right next to the two Heroes. "So uh nice day isn't it?" she asked Armsmaster.

Before he or Velocity could respond a harpoon flew out of the back of the truck. Jack was barely able to swerve the car and avoid it.

"Take this Cocksuckers!" Skidmark shouted, his head popping over the sunroof as he then began shooting debris at them.

Missy was forced to cover their car with Theia, Velocity simply dodged, and Armsmaster just drove straight through the debris. At first she thought he was just taking the hits but on closer look she realized that the Tinker's bike had some sort of system that was just shooting down the projectiles just before they could touch them.

"Don't ever copy his language Missy," Jack said before he leaned out the window. One hand was kept on the wheel while the other held his shotgun that he pointed at the truck.

Fun fact. Shotguns in real life had an effective range of at least 40 meters if not more, much longer than what you'd get from any video game. And that was with a normal gun. Apparently the gun that Jack got with his costume, which Missy was totally not jealous of, was easily effective at double that range.

*Crack*

The shotgun was distinct even through the sounds of a high-speed chase, the bullets tearing off one of the rear headlights of the truck.

Jack aimed and fired again, this time for a tire. Instead the truck swerved and shot simply left a nice hole in the road that someone would have to pave over later.

"You're going to hit a civilian with that!" Brandish shouted.

"Less backseat driving and more stabby stabby!" Jack shouted back as he reloaded and fired again.

Brandish took off her seatbelt and opened her door. "Fang, we are talking about your conduct later. Velocity catch and throw!" She turned into her ball form, which was apparently small and light enough for Velocity to grab in his hands and maintain his speed. He picked up pace and closed the distance from the truck.

"Can you trap them with Theia?" Armsmaster asked over their Coms.

"Not while we're all moving this fast," Missy informed him. She flinched as she heard and then saw the Truck plow into some traffic, flipping over an unfortunate car and its occupants. "Could redirect them if I was on their truck."

Missy watched as Velocity released Brandish. The ball landed on the windshield and then transformed back into a human. She sliced a few times, taking chunks off the roof and almost braining Skidmark in the head, before the truck suddenly turned and threw her off. Velocity slowed down to catch her again putting the two of them further behind the rest of them.

"Get on my bike," Armsmaster commanded. "Get us in front of them so we can intercept."

Did he just suggest- oh wow.

Missy's smile was wide as she put her Evoker to her head. "Theia!"

With her Persona's help she was able to land on the backseat of Armsmaster's decked out motorbike. She gripped his waist tightly as he sped forward with Theia's assistance. Skidmark's attempts to shoot them down were ineffective with Armsmaster's driving and technology. Squealer attempted to run them over, but the Hero avoided it while slicing into the door with his Halberd. They sped ahead and were soon well in front of the truck.

"Can you expand the road to prevent them from crashing or running into civilians?"

"On it." Missy did just that.

"Good keep doing that." He suddenly let go of the handle, grabbed Missy by the waist much to her confusion, and then switched their position so that she was in front. "Self-driving mode is on. Just hold onto the handles so you don't get thrown off."

"Wait what!?" Missy shouted.

"If the truck crashes direct us away from traffic," Armsmaster replied before he leaped off, much higher than any normal human could thanks to his armor.

Missy grabbed onto the handles and then turned back to watch as the Hero landed on the windshield of the monster truck. Unlike Brandish his feet must've been magnetized or something because he wouldn't get thrown off no matter how much Squealer swerved around. A bright flash came out of the Hero's halberd, blinding Skidmark long enough for Armsmaster to casually walk forward on the speeding truck and kick him in the face. As Skidmark fell back through the sunroof, Armsmaster jumped inside with him.

Missy winced but had Theia keep expanding the road. She couldn't hear much through all the noise on the highway but she could definitely see signs of fierce fighting from the bright lights flashing out the windows and the occasional halberd blade slicing through the truck walls and poking outside.

Suddenly there was a pulse of electricity that went through the vehicle and caused Missy's skin to tingle. It had apparently come from the Hero because rather than make a full stop and crash, the truck seemed to power down and gradually slow down as it lost momentum. Soon the bike Missy was on allow too as the monster truck Armsmaster was in rolled to a stop.

The door slammed open with a kick and Armsmaster stepped out of the vehicle with both Villains in his arms. They were restrained, bound, and all sorts of bruised, with Skidmark unconscious and Squealer shouting all sorts of curse words that Missy had never heard before.

"Squealer and Skidmark captured," Armsmaster stated over the comms. He was all business and serious of course… but Missy couldn't help but detect a little bit of pride in his face. "Standby for pickup."

Yea. Missy was starting to see why this dude was the leader of the local Protectorate.
