"Can you believe how pretty the woods are, Adrien?" Adrien blushed, using the his free hand that wasn't wrapped around Marinette's to scratch a invisible itch. "My Lady, your beauty is first in my heart, but the leaves and roses are a close second."
Marinette giggled. "Glad I'm first, and not the leaf. But seriously, Autumn is such a busy season for designers." "I love that you work hard at your small fashion business, but don't wear yourself out, Marinette."
"Oh, don't worry. You keep me on my toes and being Ladybug is a added bonus." Marinette flopped down a bench. "Today though, I'm glad for a quiet breather."
It was if her words cast a magic spell over the woods, and the sunlight filtered perfectly down, spotlight ing the young heroes.
"Autumn has cast a spell over me,
and I shall kiss My Lady."
The air was cool and crisp, and warm lips found Marinette's. A electric tingle raced through her as she smelled the cool damp air, and could hear the leaves rustling above them. A truly peaceful moment.
They broke apart, and Marinette smoothed her dress, a dark purple. "Even the roses are inspired by you, Bugaboo," Adrien pointed and not far from them, mauve roses nodded and danced in the slight breeze.
Adrien got up and tried to pluck one, letting out a small cry. Marinette laughed softly. "Does my Knight in Shining Leather need a hand?" "More like a thorn in a paw." Marinette carefully pulled out the mencing thorn, then wrapped it neatly, giving the injured finger a small kiss.
"How about another one of those here?" Adrien wiggled his eyebrows, tapping his lips. "Fine," Marinette grinned, leaning forward for another peck.
So, the happy couple kissed on the bench between the Autumn Leaves and Roses, perfectly and happily content.
