Like I said last chapter this is going to be What the Anemone/Tamarin scene would have been if the guide to the dragon world didn't include the Anemone/Tamarin part.
This is not a "what if" type deal. Anyway on to scene.
"Is she still here?" Anemone said
"You've got ten minutes." As soon as I said that, she raced out of her cave and off to Tamarin's. Of course, I got there first, but Tamarin didn't notice me, and not because she was blind or I because I was small.
"Tamarin," Anemone said, barreling through the doorway
"Anemone!" Tamarin said. "How are you doing?"
"Good," she replied. "Now I'm with you," she added in her head
"I came here to give you a gift," She said, handing her the necklace. "It's enchanted so that you'll be able to see when you put it on. You don't have to wear it; I just thought I should give you the option."
"How did you enchant it? Isn't animus magic not working?"
"Mason brought it back."
" … I will wear it, so I can see your pretty face," Tamarin said, blushing but nowhere near as much as Anemone was. Tamarin put on the necklace and said
"It's even more beautiful than I imagined," which made Anemone somehow blush even more. Then Tamarin hugged her and said.
"I love you, Anemone." And for the first time in her life, Anemone cried, not tears of sadness but joy.
"Anemone, are you okay?" she said in a worried tone. "I'm sorry I didn't mean to upset you. I-" she said before Anemone cut her off
"No, they're tears of joy. I love you too, Tamarin," she said then kissed her, which Tamarin returned. They lasted for a good 20 seconds, and after that, they put their heads together, still hugging.
"Visit me in the rainforest."
"I'll try to, but I assume you know how my mother is." Tamarin chuckled.
"Well, guess this is bye then," Tamarin said, starting to leave.
"Wait… don't you want a guide to show you everything?"
"I would, but your mom will go looking for you, and if she found out about us, then you would probably have to visit my grave."
"You're right, well, hopefully, see you soon."
"Can't wait for soon," Tamarin said, leaving the cave. I slowly turned off invisibility and said
"You're welcome."
"Oh Mason… did you do something more than tell me about animus magic being back?"
"All I did was give her a confidence boost; the rest was all you two."
"Thank you."
"Anytime," I say walking out of the cave.
